Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding of MAN Insan Cendekia Paser students regarding the era of global complexity, characterized by rapid changes in technology, social dynamics, economy, and culture. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires completed by students and teachers. The results show that most students have a good understanding of the concept of the global complexity era, including the importance of 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. Key factors supporting students' understanding include the integration of technology into learning and the global competency-based programs organized by the school. However, challenges such as limited access to relevant information and difficulties in technology adaptation remain. This study recommends improving global literacy, introducing more cross-cultural educational programs, and utilizing more effective technology-based media to strengthen students' readiness for the era of global complexity

Abstract

Open Education Resources is a manifestation of the development of learning media in the modern era, open learning resources aim to improve the quality of education and facilitate the learning process. This type of research is fiel d research, namely research in which data is taken and carried out in the field by systematically analyzing and presenting facts about the state of the research object. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods. The aim of this research is to determine the competency, supporting and inhibiting factors of Aqidah Akhlak teachers at MA Darul Ulum Bojonegoro in utilizing Open Education Resources (OER) in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak. The results of the research found that the competence of Aqidah Akhlak teachers at MA Darul Ulum Bojonegoro was quite good, by utilizing learning resources searched via the internet they could integrate curriculum, modules and other learning tools. Supporting factors for using OER are easy access to open learning resources, freedom to innovate, opportunities for fellow teachers to collaborate in improving the quality of education, and teaching materials that can be adapted to the curriculum. The inhibiting factors in using OER are limited media tools, weak internet networks, teacher teaching habits, and limited time in using open learning resources.

Abstract

This article aims to enable more advanced and developed learning so that learning becomes more effective and efficient. In addition, Islamic religious education aims to develop attitudes and characters that are loyal and pious to Allah SWT and in line with current reality. All educational institutions must be proactive, creative and productive in reading the phenomena that occur today. Therefore, the role of IT is very important here, creating good designs as a foundation for the advancement of information and communication technology, as well as adding Islamic religious education learning activities with materials and skills and practicing religion including learning activities and mastery. However, we must also be able to use a technical approach with a learning method using the "Moodle" internet program. Furthermore, the researcher will provide information regarding the type of research to be conducted, the planned time for implementing the research, and the class that will be the subject of the research. The results achieved are the process of developing IT-based PAI learning media, starting from the initial identification stage or implementation of preliminary research to the final revision stage.

Abstract

 This research aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic religious education in improving character by adapting teaching methods to the student's cultural context. This study uses qualitative methods with a case study at PDF Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo, involving interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that applying Islamic religious education can train students to have good character. Family involvement also contributes significantly to students' academic achievement and social development. Overall, using Islamic religious education has great potential in improving the development of students' good character development. This approach not only meets academic needs but also considers the social and emotional aspects of the student learning experience, as well as positively contributing to diversity and preserving local culture.

Abstract

Developing an Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning model based on religious moderation is an urgent need in the context of an increasingly plural world. The aim of this research is to formulate an innovative approach to PAI learning that integrates the values of religious moderation, such as tolerance, balance and respect for diversity. This research was conducted using a literature review method, analyzing various previous studies on religious moderation, innovative learning models, and Islamic religious education in various contexts. The results of the study show that learning based on religious moderation is effective in building inclusive attitudes and preventing potential extremism among students. This model emphasizes the use of strategies such as contextual teaching and learning (CTL), problem-based learning (PBL), and integration of learning technology to increase students' understanding of the importance of moderation. The integration of the value of moderation has also been successfully implemented through teaching materials that raise the issue of diversity and the history of tolerance in Islam. Digital media, such as interactive learning platforms and educational videos, have become a significant tool in attracting the attention of the younger generation and strengthening the internalization of the values of moderation. The conclusion of this research states that developing a learning model based on religious moderation is not only important for building inclusive religious competence, but is also relevant in preparing students to face the challenges of the times. It is hoped that this model will be able to create a generation that adheres to religious teachings while respecting social diversity. Further research is needed to test the implementation of this model in various educational contexts

Abstract

This study examines different strategies schools employ to raise student literacy and numeracy. Basic abilities like literacy and numeracy are critical to kids' everyday lives and academic success. Several elementary and middle schools served as case studies for the qualitative methodology used in this study. Data was gathered through document analysis, interviews, and observations. The study's findings demonstrate the efficacy of data-based interventions in remedial programs, project-based learning, digital technology utilisation, and establishing a supportive literacy environment. Furthermore, it has been shown that teachers who use creative and cooperative teaching strategies can boost students' motivation and engagement in the classroom. The findings of this study indicate that collaboration among educational institutions, teachers, parents and the community is essential to ensure literacy and numeracy programs.

Abstract

Public relations (PR) in schools is increasingly essential in facing the challenges of globalization, especially in aligning local values with modern communication practices. This research explores applying a cultural approach in PR strategies at MA Sunan Muria Pategalan, Jatibanteng District, Situbondo Regency, which has a rich local culture. Using qualitative methods with case studies, data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews with key informants (school principal, head of public relations, student parents), and documentation related to school homework activities. Data were analyzed using an analysis model that included condensation, presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that integrating local culture in PR can strengthen relations between schools and communities, create more relevant and meaningful communication, and increase community acceptance of schools. This research emphasizes the importance of understanding and respecting local cultural values in building harmonious relationships.

Abstract

The issue of radicalism is often associated with religious education, including that conducted in boarding school. However, boarding school also play a strategic role in instilling religious moderation values that are relevant to building a harmonious and tolerant society. This study aims to analyze Islamic education management strategies in instilling religious moderation values at Darussalam Gontor Islamic Boarding School. The research uses a qualitative method with a field study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively-analytically. The theoretical framework used is the four indicators of religious moderation formulated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, namely tolerance, national commitment, anti-radicalism, and accommodation to local culture. The results showed that Darussalam Gontor Islamic Boarding School implemented an integrated curriculum-based education management strategy and habituation approach. First, the value of tolerance and national commitment is instilled through multiculturalism-based learning and strengthening of national insight. Second, the value of anti-radicalism is taught through balanced religious understanding (wasathiyah) and religious-humanist character building. Third, accommodation to local culture is realized through the integration of pesantren culture with local wisdom in learning activities and the daily life of students

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and understand the managerial transformational leadership in developing the character of students with integrity. Islamic boarding schools as traditional Islamic educational institutions face the challenges of modernization that cannot be separated from the role of charismatic leaders who are able to adapt to the development of the times. The research method uses an exploratory qualitative approach with a case study at the Daarut Tauhiid Islamic Boarding School in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Data were collected through direct observation, documentation studies, and interviews with the management leaders of the foundation, staff, students, and alumni of students. The results of the study indicate that transformational leadership management includes exemplary behavior, caring, creativity, communication, and adaptive to technology. The combination of charismatic-transformative leadership styles focuses on technology-based humanism, adaptive to change, strengthening skills, and commitment to continuous learning. This study complements previous literature and offers a new design of transformative leadership that stimulates the emergence of great works of students, in order to realize Daarut Tauhiid as one of the Religious Tourism Areas and Centers of Islamic Civilization in Indonesia based on modern technology with a character of integrity.

Abstract

Study This aims To ensure the effectiveness of learning models based on Literacy – Orientation – Collaboration – Reflection (LOK-R)towards motivation Study students at school. Research conducted with Library Research methods or Literature reveals the connection between learning models and motivation Study students. This is done because of learning models and motivation. The study has two keys. The main one correlates with the learning process in class. In addition, that study also discusses the implementation of the LOK-R learning model. From the results, the study concluded that the LOK-R learning model has proven very effective because it can increase the motivation of the Study as well as the enthusiasm of participants in the learning process.
