The main process in achieving success in the management of educational institutions is highly dependent on change management and its supporting components. In the change management at Al-Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in Bandar Lampung, an overview of the implementation of the Formal Diniyah Education Program is presented. This program is rooted in the Kitab Kuning, which are classical Islamic texts that serve as references for the tradition of Islamic scholarship in pesantren. In line with the pesantren's motto, which aims to produce students who are qualified as true scholars (Ulama Sejati), this research aims to explore how change management is implemented at Al-Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in Bandar Lampung. The findings of this study show that change management at Al-Hikmah Islamic Boarding School includes the following phases: Exploration Phase, This phase involves an analysis of aspects that support the Formal Diniyah Education Program (PDF), such as resource needs, government policies, and local community perspectives. Planning Phase, This phase is crucial in change management, where the pesantren leader must develop clear strategies and plans for the implementation of the Formal Diniyah Education Program. Action Phase, In this phase, effective teaching and learning activities are carried out, educational facilities are developed, and strict quality control is enforced. Additionally, the pesantren leadership ensures that the Formal Diniyah Education Program runs smoothly even without permanent donors. Furthermore, the study aims to ensure that the Formal Diniyah Education Program produces high-quality future scholars (ulama).

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in improving Islamic moral values in the era of digitalization, especially in the environment of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nurul Jadid. With the rapid development of digital technology, new challenges have emerged for educators, including PAI teachers, in delivering material that is relevant to the times. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that digitalization has a positive impact on PAI learning, especially through wider and faster access to information. This allows students to more easily acquire religious knowledge that is relevant to the context of the times. However, on the other hand, digitalization also poses challenges in the form of the spread of negative content that can affect student morals and behavior.  In this case, PAI plays an important role in guiding students to use technology wisely, by instilling strong Islamic moral values, and providing a proper understanding of the limitations in using technology. Through PAI learning based on Islamic values, students are expected to develop a positive and responsible attitude in utilizing technology in this digital era. This research makes an important contribution in understanding the strategic role of PAI in shaping the character of superior students in the midst of technological advances

Abstract

The focus of this research is to understand how the public reaction to Habib Bahar's harsh da'wah style shapes his image in the eyes of the public, as well as how social media plays a role in strengthening or damaging the perception of religious figures. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis techniques, where the analysis unit includes text, images, and interactions on social media. Data was collected from various social media platforms and articles relevant to the phenomenon, which were then analyzed to identify emerging patterns, themes, and narratives. The results of the study show that although Habib Bahar's harsh da'wah style has attracted sharp criticism, this phenomenon actually strengthens his visibility and image in the eyes of his supporters. However, it also created a deep polarization among the public, with most audiences supporting his assertive approach, while others deemed the style not reflective of the morals of a religious figure. The implications of this study show that social media has an important role in shaping public perceptions, both positively and negatively, of religious figures, and the importance of balancing freedom of speech and social responsibility in communicating on digital platforms.
