Abstract

Congregational prayer is worship carried out by a group of people, at least two people, with the selection of an imam who is fluent in reading and has a good understanding of Islamic law. It is the Imam who stands in the front row, while the others are the makmum or followers. As far as the author is concerned, there is an interesting side when discussing the efforts and supporting factors that regional heads are trying to improve the culture of congregational prayer for students. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation techniques. For data analysis, Miles and Huberman's interactive model was used through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of discussions on regional head management in improving the culture of congregational prayer in the Zaid bin Tsabit area show that regional heads implement various efforts, such as setting an example, providing motivation and religious activities, routine supervision. The implementation of these efforts has proven effective in increasing the participation of students in carrying out congregational prayers and strengthening social and spiritual ties in the Islamic boarding school environment. Evaluation can be done by looking at supporting and inhibiting factors. This research concludes that the active role and commitment of the head of the Sengat area is important in building a strong culture of congregational prayer in Islamic boarding schools, especially in the Zaid bin Tsabit area

Abstract

This article examines how minority students form and assert their identities in school's public spaces, particularly in interactions with majority groups. This qualitative research uses interviews and documentation studies, focusing on several minority students in schools in East Java. The research results show that the identity of minority students is formed through religious expressions, which include verbal expressions, attitudes of prayer, and greetings on holidays. These three expressions function as a means for minorities to assert their identity among the majority. This research concludes that identity formation depends on significant religious expressions and small actions carried out repeatedly. Therefore, schools need to provide equitable social spaces for minority students, with policies supporting equality and respecting differences in school social life.

Abstract

Abstract:Floods have been a recurring challenge for the people of Kedungdalem Village, Dringu District. This study explores community resilience by identifying social and environmental factors that influence their ability to adapt and recover. It also examines the application of environmental-based learning to reduce the impact of flooding and evaluates local strategies in disaster management to create social and economic sustainability. Using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis, this study found that reliance on traditional lifestyles, inadequate waste management, and limited infrastructure were the main contributors to flooding. The results show the important role of community organizations such as Fatayat NU and the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in raising community awareness and mobilizing resources for environmental education and disaster preparedness. Strategies such as mutual cooperation efforts in maintaining water channels have had a positive impact. However, challenges remain in integrating modern techniques with traditional practices and overcoming economic constraints. The study concludes that increasing environmental awareness and leveraging local solidarity are key to turning disasters into opportunities for sustainable community growth. These findings contribute to the discussion on community-based disaster resilience and offer practical recommendations for integrating local wisdom with modern environmental management practices.

Abstract

This article discusses the strategies implemented by the Principal to improve student discipline at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid (MANJ), Probolinggo Regency, East Java Province. Using a qualitative approach, this research explores various strategies based on the leadership principles of Rasulullah SAW, personal approach, socialization of rules, respect for disciplined students, and parental involvement. Research findings show that these strategies, such as attendance before learning, monitoring student attendance, and consistent application of sanctions, have succeeded in creating a strong and sustainable culture of discipline in schools. However, the challenges that arise regarding parental intervention require a more proactive approach, such as through open communication and discussion forums. Although there is no quantitative data to support claims of reduced student offending, this provides a positive indication of the effectiveness of the strategies implemented. Therefore, continuous efforts to improve student discipline need to be made through regular evaluations and strategy adjustments according to future needs, in order to create an educational environment that is disciplined, productive, and supports students' holistic development.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) systems in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in Indonesia, focusing on the challenges and opportunities of integrating these systems within the unique cultural and religious context of pesantren. Given the dynamic educational landscape and the evolving demands of quality education, this research seeks to understand how IQA can be effectively adapted to fit the specific needs of pesantren while ensuring that their traditional pedagogical values are preserved. The study employs a qualitative research approach, including an analysis of relevant literature and in-depth interviews with key stakeholders involved in the development and implementation of IQA systems within pesantren. The findings reveal that successful IQA implementation requires a careful balance between modern educational standards and the intrinsic values of pesantren, such as religious education, spiritual development, and character formation. Moreover, the study identifies several critical factors for effective IQA implementation, including strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, capacity building for educators and administrators, and the strategic use of technology to enhance efficiency and data management. Furthermore, the research emphasizes the importance of fostering a culture of continuous improvement and community involvement, which includes engaging parents, alumni, and local community members in the IQA process. By addressing these key factors, pesantren can not only enhance the quality of their educational programs but also contribute to the broader goal of developing a knowledgeable and skilled workforce that aligns with the needs of a rapidly changing global landscape. Ultimately, this study advocates for a holistic approach to IQA in pesantren that preserves their cultural heritage while embracing innovation to meet the demands of the 21st century.

Abstract

A significant trend in the business sector that arose in reaction to the advancement of information and communication technology (ICT) is the digitization of micro, little, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). One important endeavor to help MSMEs' growth and competitiveness in the digital age is the digitalization of MSMEs through e-commerce. Here are some advantages and strategies for using e-commerce to digitalize MSMEs. MSMEs can take advantage of digital potential for long-term company growth with the correct tactics. There are numerous coastline tourism attractions in Kota Pari, including Mutiara 88 Beach, Woong Rame Beach, and Pondok Permai Beach. Because of this, Kota Pari is a popular tourist attraction. The marketing of MSME goods made in Kota Pari may benefit from this potential. Presenting the advantages and disadvantages of digitization for MSMEs is the aim of this study. The instance of Kota Pari village was also highlighted. Using library research and literature study techniques, this study took a qualitative descriptive approach. According to the study's findings, MSMEs players' income has been shown to rise when their products are promoted through digital marketing, technology-based initiatives like the Internet of Things, and operational and non-operational activities. The digital transformation process, however, may be complex and often challenging for MSMEs. Among the primary problems MSMEs face are limitations in their financial and human resources.
