Welfare: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the publication of the results of community service. Welfare is published four times a year by the literacy service journal as a journal manager at Faculty of Islamic Economis and Business, IAIN Kediri. Welfare accepts manuscripts or articles to strengthen the fields of applied and social sciences from various academics and researchers, both nationally and internationally. Abstract

Farmer groups in Kebonan Village face the problem of untreated goat manure, which often causes environmental pollution. This community service aimed to empower farmers by processing livestock waste into bokashi organic fertilizer with economic value. The method applied was Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving farmers in all stages of the program, including problem identification, socialization, and hands-on practice of bokashi production. The process consisted of material preparation, 7-14 days of fermentation, and product packaging. The results showed improved farmer’s knowledge and skills in waste management, and the produced bokashi met quality standards with neutral pH, stable temperature, dark brownish color, fine texture, and odorless condition. This program successfully reduced livestock waste, improved soil fertility, and supported sustainable agriculture based on local resources.

Abstract

The growing integration of digital technology in various sectors, including aviation, has significantly increased vulnerability to cyber threats such as ransomware. This community service activity aimed to raise awareness and improve students’ understanding of ransomware threats and prevention strategies in the aviation industry. The target participants were 24 tenth-grade students from SMK Dirgantara Putra Bangsa in Sleman, Yogyakarta. The method used was an offline interactive seminar, consisting of a lecture, discussion, and digital-based evaluation through pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The program was implemented in four phases: planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The session was delivered by a professional speaker from Rumahweb, one of Indonesia’s largest hosting companies. Results showed a significant improvement in student knowledge, with average scores increasing from 15.29 (pre-test) to 21.38 (post-test). Statistical analysis confirmed a strong positive correlation (r = 0.731, p < 0.05) and a significant mean difference (p = 0.000), indicating the effectiveness of the activity. Additionally, the event was documented and published via YouTube and Harian Jogja, expanding its public impact. This initiative demonstrated the importance of digital literacy and collaborative efforts between higher education, professionals, and vocational schools in strengthening national cybersecurity awareness.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency has become an alarming phenomenon as it not only violates social norms but also carries potential legal consequences. The lack of adolescents’ understanding of legal rules and the social impact of deviant behavior is a major factor behind the prevalence of delinquency among students. To address this issue, thematic KKN students from Hasanuddin University implemented the Gen-Z Sadar Hukum program at SMA Negeri 11 Sidrap with the aim of fostering legal awareness from an early age. The program was designed through school observations and interviews, the preparation of legal education materials covering definitions, factors, types, impacts, and preventive measures of juvenile delinquency, as well as interactive counseling through presentations, quizzes, discussions, and the installation of educational posters. A total of 84 students participated in the activity. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test assessments to measure students’ level of understanding. The results indicated a significant improvement, with the average score increasing from 38.45 in the pre-test to 67.26 in the post-test, or around 75%. This improvement demonstrates that an educational approach based on active participation is effective in raising legal awareness and preventing deviant behavior. The program contributes to building a legally aware young generation and can serve as a preventive intervention model in other schools.

Abstract

The community service program at TPQ Al Huda in Kerug Munggang Hamlet, Majaksingi Village, Borobudur Subdistrict, aims to improve the quality of Islamic education management through the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach with the stages of discovery, dream, design, define, and destiny. The results of the activities show that the main assets of TPQ are teachers, students, and community support. Based on these assets, work programs were formulated, such as schedule arrangement, teacher task distribution, creative method training, and student mentoring. The implementation was carried out participatively with KKN students, teachers, and the community. The evaluation showed an increase in schedule regularity, creativity in learning methods, student motivation, and community support for the sustainability of the institution. Overall, the application of asset-based Islamic education management was able to strengthen the quality of Al-Qur'an learning and foster sustainable collaboration between TPQ, the community, and students in the management of non-formal educational institutions.

Abstract

d'Rens Production MSME is a culinary business in Kediri City that offers potato donuts as its main product, as well as a variety of other processed foods. Despite offering high-quality products, this business faces obstacles in digital marketing because its promotional efforts have not been able to reach a wide audience. This situation has resulted in low brand awareness and consumer interaction. To address these issues, community service activities were conducted by implementing a TikTok Marketing strategy through the involvement of internship students. The methods used included content planning, creative video production, and audience engagement publication and evaluation. The objective of this community service was to enhance the competitiveness and visibility of the business by optimally utilizing social media. Preliminary results show a 65% increase in engagement on the d’Rens TikTok account account by 65% in the first two months, as evidenced by the number of views, likes, and comments from consumers. This demonstrates that TikTok-based digital marketing strategies can be an effective alternative for MSMEs to expand their market and increase sales. With this activity, it is hoped that d'Rens Production will be able to manage its digital strategy independently so that it can develop sustainably.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to raise awareness among students of Ma'had Al-Jami'ah UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan regarding the importance of implementing halal social values in daily life, particularly in the use of social media. Education is provided to introduce sharia boundaries in digital interactions, recognize deviant forms of social interactions, and teach healthy communication strategies according to Islamic teachings amidst the rapid flow of digitalization. This program is implemented with a service learning approach through four stages: investigation, preparation, implementation, and reflection. The results of the activity show an increase in students' knowledge and awareness of the importance of sharia principles in digital interactions. This socialization is considered effective and is expected to be expanded to reach more young generations, so that they are able to build intelligent, moral, and competitive Muslim characters in the digital era.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires entrepreneurs to build a professional self-image that supports business sustainability. One effective strategy is digital-based personal branding. This article aims to enhance the personal branding of the director of CV. Utama Maju Bersama through the development of a digital business card using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The community engagement was conducted participatorily through several stages: asset mapping, digital card design, training implementation, and evaluation of media effectiveness. The results indicate that the partner’s director was able to utilize the digital business card to strengthen personal identity in business interactions, particularly through social media, email, and communication applications. The digital business card is considered a simple, practical, and low-cost yet high-impact promotional tool that significantly improves professional impressions and business competitiveness. The ABCD approach proved relevant as it leverages existing partner assets and develops them into a sustainable personal branding strategy. This program not only enhances digital literacy but also increases business partners’ trust in the professionalism of entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in driving economic growth, including in the traditional culinary sector. Gudeg Bu Anjar in Kediri is a culinary specialty from Yogyakarta that is popular with people outside its region of origin. Although it has partnered with online delivery services and is active on social media, its promotional reach is still not optimal. In addition, business owners demonstrate a commitment to the principle of prudence in transactions and hold halal certificates that strengthen consumer confidence. This dedication aims to strengthen sharia-based branding strategies through the optimization of digital and offline promotion. The methods used are Participatory Action Research (PAR) through the production of creative content on Instagram and TikTok, brochure distribution, and sharia-based branding education. The results of the assistance show that digital engagement and promotional reach have increased, the halal identity of businesses has become more prominent, and the application of sharia business ethics has been integrated into marketing strategies.

Abstract

The Program for Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Spirit of Majelis Taklim Women through Business Collaboration in Lalembu District, South Konawe Regency, was implemented to enhance women’s awareness and economic skills through faith-based community empowerment. This activity employed a participatory approach through socialization, interactive workshops, and mentoring in forming business groups. The results showed an increase in participants’ understanding of entrepreneurship concepts, household business management, and the importance of group collaboration. Approximately 30% of participants began drafting simple business plans, such as producing cookies and handicrafts, and two majelis taklim-based business groups were formed with a commitment to developing local products. The success of this program was supported by active community participation, the role of majelis taklim leaders, and the availability of adequate facilities, while the main obstacles were limited access to digital technology and lack of organizational experience. This program not only improved participants’ knowledge and skills but also encouraged women’s economic independence and strengthened a culture of collaboration at the community level.

Abstract

The migration of Hajj savings to Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) following the merger of three Islamic banks presents new challenges, particularly in terms of understanding administrative procedures and the mechanism for paying the Hajj Pilgrimage Costs (BPIH). This Student Creativity Program aims to provide education and assistance to customers at BSI KCP Rembang Sudirman so that they are better prepared to face the migration process and Hajj payment in 2025. The implementation methods include field observations, collaboration with BSI and KUA, group socialization, and facilitation of administrative document completion. The results of the activity showed an increase in customer understanding of the savings migration process and payment procedures, as well as growing adaptation to digital Islamic banking services. However, there were still obstacles in the form of limited digital literacy, time constraints, and concerns about fund security. The synergy between BSI and KUA played a significant role in accelerating the dissemination of information and providing practical support to prospective Hajj pilgrims. The main conclusion of this activity emphasizes that continuous education and intensive assistance are very important to improve the community's readiness to perform the hajj in a more planned, independent, and sharia-compliant manner.
