Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is a technology that has rapidly developed in this decade. Its capability to perform tasks previously achievable only by humans has made this technology popular and utilized across various sectors, including vocational education. In vocational education, Artificial Intelligence plays a role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching. One example is the development of adaptive learning programs that can adjust the curriculum according to students' abilities and needs. Additionally, Artificial Intelligence is also used to evaluate student performance and provide automatic feedback. This system can assist in assessing and monitoring student performance, enabling teachers to focus on teaching and student development. This study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. This method is used to identify, assess, evaluate, and interpret all available research within the field of the relevant phenomenon, guided by specific research questions. By using this method, a systematic review and identification of journals can be conducted, following predefined steps. The data for this study is obtained from relevant journals between the years 2013 to 2021, totaling 15 literature journals from various countries. The primary goal of this research is to provide a deeper understanding of the role of this technology in vocational education and to present a framework that can be used as a guide for the implementation of Artificial Intelligence. It is anticipated that this research will assist educators and decision-makers in effectively utilizing Artificial Intelligence to enhance learning, skills, and vocational student preparation for the continually evolving job market.

Abstract

Ikan asin adalah produk yang dihasilkan dengan merendam ikan dalam air garam dan kemudian dijemur di bawah sinar matahari hingga kering. Kualitas pengeringan sangat mempengaruhi harga jual ikan asin, semakin baik proses pengeringannya, semakin tinggi nilai jual ikan tersebut. Namun, salah satu masalah utama dalam proses ini adalah ketika ikan terkena hujan, yang memperlambat pengeringan dan dapat merusak kualitas ikan. Masyarakat pesisir umumnya menutup atau memindahkan ikan yang sedang dijemur agar tidak basah terkena hujan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, diusulkan tenda otomatis untuk melindungi ikan asin dari hujan. Tenda ini menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno yang terhubung dengan Bluetooth sebagai pusat pengolahan informasi, sehingga tenda dapat secara otomatis menutup ketika hujan datang. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi ini efektif, murah, dan mudah digunakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan sosial dan design thinking bersama warga sebagai calon pengguna untuk memahami kebutuhan mereka, sehingga solusi yang dihasilkan tepat dan relevan.

Abstract

Pembelajaran ecoprint di MTs Ibnu Sina Yogyakarta merupakan program unggulan yang bertujuan membekali siswa dengan keterampilan produktif. Namun, hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran belum optimal karena siswa kurang aktif, kegiatan belum terstruktur, dan penerapan Project Based Learning (PjBL) belum mengikuti sintak yang seharusnya. Ketiadaan modul ajar juga membuat siswa tidak memiliki pedoman belajar mandiri, sehingga tahapan desain dan praktik ecoprint belum berlangsung secara runtut. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan perlunya bahan ajar yang mampu mengarahkan pembelajaran secara sistematis, kolaboratif, dan berorientasi pada proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul ajar ecoprint berbasis desain dengan model PjBL serta mengetahui tingkat kelayakannya sebagai bahan ajar pada mata pelajaran keterampilan. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) model 4D, meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi ahli dan angket respons siswa dianalisis menggunakan Aiken’s V, Cronbach’s Alpha, dan persentase kelayakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan modul ajar berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan validitas dan reliabilitas tinggi, ditunjukkan oleh kelayakan ahli materi 98%, ahli tampilan 96%, ahli pembelajaran 100%, serta respons siswa 82,7%.

Abstract

The findings of observations collected at school showed that students in class XI PPLG B still had relatively low levels of learning interest and that those students' interests were heavily influenced by those of their peers, which served as the basis for this study. This study used the Crowd Behavior Theory to analyze students' learning interests about the interests of their peers. Descriptive-analytical study using a qualitative approach was the methodology employed. Thirty-five students from class XI PPLG B and one teacher in the PPLG area of competence participated in the study. Purposive sampling was the method used to choose the participants. Data for the study were gathered through interviews and observation. While the interview instrument employed multiple question items that were submitted to the informant, the class teacher, the observation instrument used an observation sheet with several statement items. The data analysis results indicate that students' learning interests are significantly influenced by their peers' learning interests. According to the teacher's interview, groups with similar goals and perspectives might arise from the interactions of peers with different behavioral tendencies. The influence of peers has a direct effect on other students' learning spirits, as evidenced by the observational data. The idea that an individual's interest in learning may be influenced by their group is supported by Le Bon's (2002) Crowd Behavior Theory, which is consistent with this.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: 1) perbedaan motivasi belajar saat pembelajaran dengan moving class dan non moving class. 2) mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar peserta didik di moving class dan non moving class. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Responden dalam penelitian sejumlah 186 siswa SMK, yang  terdiri dari 121 siswa program keahlian DPIB dan 65 siswa program keahlian TKP.  Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Independent Sample t-Test dan uji analisis faktor. Berdasarkan hasil uji Independent Sample t-Test, didapatkan hasil nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,263 > 0,05 yang menyatakan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik di moving class dan non moving class, dan hasil uji analisis faktor menemukan bahwa minat belajar merupakan faktor terbesar yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar, dengan nilai sebesar 0,607 di moving class dan 0,596 di non moving class.

Abstract

The Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program FKIP Universitas Sebelas Maret, there is one of the new courses in the 2021 curriculum (independent curriculum, independent campus learning), namely New and Renewable Energy. The learning tools in the course are not yet fully available. Learning tools continue to progress with the times, and e-modules are one of them.  In this research developed a new and renewable energy learning e-module with a focus on utilizing solar energy using solar panels. Solar panels used are static solar panels and solar panels with a single axis solar tracker. The purpose of this study is to develop learning e-modules and find out the feasibility to be used in New and Renewable Energy courses. This study uses the Research and Development research method, with a 4-D model research model (Four D model), namely Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The Define stage results that the New and Renewable Energy course requires supporting learning tools, in the form of e-modules, e-module users are students of Mechanical Engineering Education class of 2021, with theoretical and practical learning concepts. The Design stage selects the format, drafts, and makes the initial draft. The Development stage tested the design results to two material expert lecturers, and the validation test of two media expert lecturers, then tested to 11 students. In the Disseminate stage, the e-module is submitted to the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. For the results of this development research, in the expert test this e-module material obtained a score of 90.52% with a very decent category, in the media expert test a score of 88.88% was obtained with a very decent category. The results of the trial to students obtained a score of 84% with a very decent category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pulau Penyengat, salah satu kawasan wisata sejarah peninggalan kerajaan Melayu yang menjadi daya tarik utama di Kota Tanjungpinang. Peningkatan aktivitas masyarakat dan jumlah wisatawan menyebabkan peningkatan signifikan terhadap volume sampah, baik dari sumber rumah tangga maupun aktivitas wisata. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dirancang sistem pemantauan berat sampah berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang dapat diakses secara real-time oleh petugas kebersihan dan instansi terkait tanpa batasan ruang dan waktu. Sistem ini menggunakan Wemos D1 Min dengan konektivitas Wi-Fi yang terintegrasi dengan sensor load cell, serta memanfaatkan aplikasi Blynk sebagai penghubung ke web server. Penelitian diawali melalui pendekatan sosial bersama masyarakat sebagai calon pengguna dan dilanjutkan dengan penerapan metode design thinking untuk menghasilkan inovasi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan lapangan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat bekerja dengan baik, akurat, mudah dioperasikan, dan memiliki biaya implementasi yang rendah. Inovasi ini terbukti mampu mendukung efisiensi pengelolaan sampah di Pulau Penyengat serta berpotensi diterapkan di kawasan wisata lain dengan kondisi serupa.

Abstract

The large number of vocational high school graduates who cannot adapt to their jobs causes the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) of vocational high school graduates to be the highest compared to other graduates. Various efforts have been made by the government to overcome this problem, one of which is by implementing TEFA. This study aims to (1) obtain an overview of the activities of forming and soft skills in TEFA SMK Warga Surakarta; (2) To find out what factors influence the success of forming and soft skills through TEFA at SMK Warga Surakarta. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. The sampling techniques are purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the formation of soft skills in TEFA SMK Warga Surakarta includes effective communication, public speaking, leadership, teamwork, management, work ethics, and adaptation. Factors that influence the formation of hard skills and soft skills at TEFA SMK Warga Surakarta include industry involvement, work culture, the role of teachers and their challenges, and strategies for overcoming obstacles.

Abstract

The background of the study was to determine the effect of Project Based Learning model on learning interest of vocational students in Surakarta. The purpose of this study is to increase the learning interest of vocational students by applying the Project Based Learning model. This research uses qualitative methods with methods for gathering data through surveys and observations. The research subjects were vocational students and teachers of public vocational schools in Surakarta. Which consisted of 36 students and 1 subject teacher. The results showed that 75% of students liked the learning process with the Project Based Learning model, while 25% liked other learning models. From these results it can be seen that the majority of students like the Project Based Learning model. So, it can be said that Surakarta's vocational students' interest in learning can be piqued by the Project Based Learning approach.

Abstract

Program PKL merupakan pembelajaran bagi peserta didik untuk memperoleh pengalaman kerja yang terstruktur dan relevan sebelum lulus dari suatu program akademik. Penelitian ini merupakan studi pendahuluan bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis persepsi guru di SMK Adi Sumarmo terhadap penyelenggaraan program PKL yang ditinjau dari aspek Context, Input, Procces, Product (CIPP). Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner dan catatan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program PKL di SMK Adi Sumarmo ditinjau secara umum dari 4 aspek sebagai berikut 1) aspek Context termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”; 2) aspek Input termasuk dalam kategori “baik”; 3) aspek Process berada dalam kategori “baik”; 4) aspek Product termasuk dalam kategori “baik”. Berdasarkan analisis data terdapat hal yang menjadi konsen peneliti yaitu pada aspek Input, data menunjukan bahwa sarana prasarana seperti belum adanya penggunaan IT untuk monitoring dan logbook. Pada aspek Process, partisipasi peserta selama PKL belum optimal dan pemanfaatan IT selama proses monitoring juga kurang. Pada aspek Product, dampak dari program seperti tawaran kerja dari industri masih tergolong minim dan tindak lanjut program seperti masukan atau feedback dari pihak industri juga masih kurang. Hal tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan kajian berikutnya dan penelitian lebih lanjut.
