Abstract

The program aims to build digital awareness and skills in the community by creating an integrated village website and application to address these issues; using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the program encourages the involvement of village officials and residents in the digital transformation process in the Campor Village. After conducting an analysis, it was found that slow public services are caused by reliance on inefficient manual systems and limited digital access for SMEs. With support from the village government and community participation, the program gradually accelerates administrative processes, increases transparency, and expands market reach for local SME products. Success is reflected in residents' increased access to digital services and optimizing digital platforms for marketing SME products, such as handicrafts and culinary goods. Implementing this technology is expected to be sustainable, providing innovative solutions that strengthen public services and the village economy in the future

Abstract

The quality of education in border areas, such as the Timor Tengah Utara (TTU) Regency, often faces challenges in improving teacher competencies. This community service program aims to empower teachers through the Gasing method (Easy, Fun, and Enjoyable) as part of the Visiting Teacher program. This method was chosen because it is effective in helping teachers improve their pedagogical competence. The program involved teacher working groups (KKG) and subject teacher working groups (MGMP) in TTU over three days, from September 26 to 28, 2024. Training and hands-on practice sessions were conducted to equip teachers with the skills to apply the Gasing method in their teaching. The analysis results showed a significant improvement in the teachers' average understanding, rising from 55.8 before the training to 87.07 afterward. Additionally, observations recorded high levels of participant engagement. Question-asking activities reached 88%, the ability to answer facilitators' questions was 92%, group discussions demonstrated 84% engagement, and the active application of new Gasing techniques reached 96%. Overall, 90% of the teachers displayed excellent engagement across various aspects, reflecting the program's effectiveness. This initiative not only improved teachers' understanding but also fostered a more enjoyable and effective learning environment. The implementation of the Gasing method holds significant potential to enhance teaching quality, not only in TTU but also in other regions with similar characteristics, contributing to the advancement of education

Abstract

Organic waste that accumulates in the 3R Waste Processing Site (TPS3R) environment needs to be utilized as well as possible. The purpose of this community service activity is to utilize energy from organic waste as the main raw material for making biobattery and biogas. The final result of this community service is a tool that can convert energy from organic waste to electricity (biobattery) and produce gas (biogas). The community service method uses socialization and technology application workshops by assembling tools and materials. Biobattery and biogas equipment, if operated every day, can increase the utilization of organic waste by 17 kg, with 5 kg for biobattery and 12 kg for biogas. Biobattery cells containing around 100 mL of organic waste can produce a maximum voltage of 0.9 Volts and a maximum electric current of 6 mA. Biogas itself requires a sorting process and a fermentation process whose time is adjusted to the presence or absence of organic waste stock at TPS3R. The initial Biogas Place (Digester) requires 600 kg of organic waste. This community service work is expected to inspire the community, especially the Sekar Manfaat Sekaran Lamongan TPS3R Team, to better manage the waste in their surroundings.

Abstract

This service aims to analyze the assets of Al-Qur’an Education institutions in financial statements and to analyze achievements in non-profit financial statements based on Isak 35 on Al-Qur’an Education Institutions in Bojonegoro. The method used in this community service is Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), with various stages, namely inculturation, discovery, design, definition, and reflection. The results of community service in the form of managing economic resources in the financial reports of Al-Qur'an Education (TPQ) play a crucial role in ensuring operational sustainability and improving the quality of educational services. By implementing ISAK 35 standards, TPQ can increase transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the use of funds, which in turn will strengthen the credibility of the institution and increase public and donor trust. The strategy of strengthening the performance of ISAK 35-based financial reports through the ABCD method also helps create synergy between management, society, and stakeholders to support the sustainability of TPQ. Strengthening these financial reports not only provides a solid foundation for TPQ in achieving educational goals but also increases transparency and accountability. This encourages public confidence to more actively support TPQ programs, both through direct participation and resource contributions, thereby strengthening the operational sustainability of the institution and providing a real positive impact on educational development and empowerment of the surrounding community.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve the financial management skills of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the craft sector in Aceh Province through training that focuses on separating personal and business finances, proper transaction recording, and the preparation of transparent and accurate financial reports. The method used in this community service activity involves training conducted by a team of lecturers from various educational institutions, as well as direct visits to SME locations for practical training. The results show that most SME owners previously lacked adequate understanding of financial management, and this training provided significant benefits in enhancing their ability to make better business decisions. The Focus Group Discussion (FGD) revealed challenges faced by SMEs, such as limited capital and difficulties in product marketing. In conclusion, this financial management training has had a positive impact on SME owners in Aceh, helping them develop a more professional and sustainable approach to business operations. Notably, this program stands out as the first to integrate simple app-based financial management training with digital marketing strategies in Aceh. By combining financial literacy with modern marketing techniques, the program provides a comprehensive solution for the challenges faced by local MSMEs. Integrating these two crucial aspects empowers business owners to manage their finances better while expanding their market reach through digital platforms. This innovative approach lays the groundwork for more resilient and competitive MSMEs, fostering long-term sustainability and growth in the region.
