Abstract

By collecting and analyzing data on student learning outcomes, monitoring tools provide a comprehensive picture of student learning, thereby enabling an objective evaluation. The information held by monitoring is a summary of information from a tool. In the current digital era, the SIMARI system at Lambung Mangkurat University is not yet equipped with a monitoring feature that allows real-time monitoring of student study results. Implementing Google Spreadsheets as a monitoring tool can be an effective solution for comprehensively managing and analyzing student assessment data. This system identification process includes data collection stages through observation and interviews, needs analysis, and final implementation using Google Spreadsheets. Natively, Google Sheets enables faster and more informed decision-making regarding student assessments through real-time data access and extensive visualization.

Abstract

The diversity of Indonesian society on the one hand can provide positive value for the nation if there is complementary interaction so that it has the potential for the progress of the nation itself. However, on the other hand, problems will arise if the plurality is not able to be managed properly which ends in a conflict. To build a young generation that is sensitive to social problems requires an educational program that not only provides knowledge, but also the meaning and implementation of the knowledge gained in everyday life. The purpose of this research is to develop social studies learning based on local wisdom values "Pancasila Village" Lamongan in order to foster democratic attitudes. The method used in this research includes three stages, namely: 1. preliminary study phase; 2. development study phase, and 3. evaluation phase. The results obtained: 1. The implementation of social studies learning applied by teachers, pay attention to; a) teaching and learning activities that take place in one direction, b) lack of interest in reading in each student, c) the use of learning facilities that are not yet optimal, d) the material is less contextual with everyday life, and e) teaching and learning activities are less active students. 2. The procedure used in this development uses the Borg and Gall development model. (3) Based on the analysis using two groups of classes, namely experimental and control, obtained the value of tcount> ttable (3.101> 1.711) which shows the difference in the average cognitive scores of experimental and control group students. While testing the affective domain obtained a value of tcount> ttable (2.527> 1.711).

Abstract

This study aims to explore the development of neuromarketing research in the tourism sector between 2017 and 2024. The research method employed is a systematic literature review (SLR) developed by Kitchenham and Charters, which analyzes articles published in ScienceDirect, DOAJ, Emerald, EconPapers, and SpringerLink. The study's findings indicate that the use of neuromarketing in tourism remains limited, primarily focusing on analyzing advertising types, such as photos and videos, and predominantly utilizing eye-tracking. Additionally, we found that the technology most commonly used to observe brain activity is the electroencephalogram (EEG), rather than Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (FMRI). Future research suggests that neuromarketing could become a marketing trend in tourism, potentially influencing consumer decision-making and allowing for the tracking of consumer happiness levels.

Abstract

Wetland conflicts are particularly pronounced in regions rich in natural resources, such as the peat swamp areas in South Kalimantan. Local communities in these areas rely on the land for small-scale agriculture. In contrast, conservation efforts to prevent forest and land fires have led to clashes between community needs and government conservation policies, escalating the conflict. This paper employs a literature review to overview the conflicts occurring in peat swamp areas comprehensively. The analysis includes research articles published in national and international journals over the past two decades, from 2010 to 2024. Findings indicate that overlapping land ownership, policies with limited community participation, and the impacts of climate change are the primary drivers of conflict escalation. The consequences of these conflicts span social, economic, cultural, and environmental dimensions, including reduced livelihood access, ecosystem degradation, and loss of local cultural values. This study underscores the need for a more inclusive and participatory approach to land management that involves local communities, supporting both ecosystem sustainability and social stability in the region.

Abstract

Social Studies (IPS) in Elementary Schools (SD) shapes students' understanding of the social and cultural environment. However, IPS learning in elementary schools often faces problems, including overly theoretical teaching methods, lack of technology, materials irrelevant to students' lives, limited teacher professional development, and an evaluation system focusing on memorization. This article uses a literature study method to identify these problems and offers relevant solutions. The study results indicate that implementing Project-Based Learning (PBL), integrating technology, adopting contextual approaches, providing teacher professional development, and utilizing authentic assessments can improve the effectiveness of IPS learning. By implementing these solutions, it is hoped that IPS learning in elementary schools will be more interactive, engaging, and able to equip students with the critical thinking skills needed to face future social challenges.

Abstract

Indonesia's coastal areas, where land and sea meet, are rich in natural resources that provide economic benefits such as fisheries and tourism, and support ecosystem balance. Community dependence on these resources can lead to environmental damage if not appropriately managed. This article analyzes the behavior of the Tambakrejo community at CMC Tiga Warna Beach in terms of environmental preservation through tourism and conservation. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method, incorporating interviews and observations. Results show significant community impacts on ecosystems, such as waste pollution and land clearing, threatening biodiversity. Ecotourism at CMC Tiga Warna Beach encourages active community roles in conservation, including visitor limits and mangrove planting. The interaction between community behavior, ecosystems, and local culture plays a role in environmental preservation. Community participation and local policies have been shown to support coastal sustainability. This emphasizes the need for community-based approaches to minimize negative impacts and enhance the benefits of ecotourism.

The literature analysis reveals that riverbank tourism can significantly boost local economies by attracting visitors while providing opportunities to showcase the city’s cultural heritage. However, challenges such as environmental degradation, inadequate infrastructure, and lack of community involvement present potential obstacles to sustainable development. The study emphasizes the need for a balanced approach that integrates tourism with environmental management and community participation. By synthesizing previous research, this paper provides insights into strategies for promoting sustainable riverbank tourism in Banjarmasin, contributing to the broader discourse on urban river tourism and development.
