Abstract

This study is motivated by the high employee turnover rate at Hotel X Bumi Serpong Damai, South Tangerang City, which indicates problems related to employee loyalty. Employee loyalty is an important factor in maintaining organizational stability and is influenced by workload, remuneration, and the work environment experienced by employees. These factors play a significant role in shaping employee satisfaction, engagement, and commitment to the organization. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of management and employees regarding workload, remuneration, and the work environment, identify perception gaps, and formulate strategies to improve employee loyalty. The study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method through questionnaires distributed to 54 respondents consisting of employees and management. Data analysis was conducted using validity, reliability, and normality tests, gap analysis, and Cartesian diagrams with the assistance of SPSS. The results indicate perception gaps, particularly in remuneration and working hours, where employees perceive compensation as not fully aligned with their workload. Although the work environment is considered conducive, stronger supervisor support and recognition are needed to enhance employee loyalty and long-term organizational commitment. Abstract

The development of traditional culinary businesses in Tangerang City has increased significantly along with the growing public interest in local specialty foods, including Betawi Laksa. In an increasingly competitive market, product quality is considered a crucial factor influencing customer satisfaction and purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions through customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The research employed a quantitative approach using path analysis based on SmartPLS 4. A total of 250 respondents were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire (1–5) and analyzed through validity and reliability tests, coefficient of determination (R²), as well as direct and indirect effect testing. The results indicate that product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction and purchasing decisions. However, customer satisfaction does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions and does not mediate the relationship between product quality and purchasing decisions. These findings suggest that product quality is the primary determinant influencing consumers’ decisions to purchase Laksa. It is recommended that Laksa vendors maintain consistent taste quality and hygiene standards, while local government should strengthen product development support and promote traditional culinary tourism. Keywords: product quality, customer satisfaction, purchase decision

Abstract

The development of global tourism has shifted toward experience-based, health-oriented, and sustainable tourism, leading to the emergence of eco-healing tourism as an integration of wellness activities and interaction with natural environments. Tabanan Regency, Bali, possesses significant natural landscape potential to support this type of tourism; however, its utilization remains fragmented and not yet integrated into a sustainable destination framework. This study aims to analyze the contribution of eco-healing tourism to the sustainability of wellness destinations in Tabanan, Bali. The research employs an interpretive qualitative approach using field observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with thematic analysis applied to the data. The findings reveal that eco-healing experiences are constructed through sensory, emotional, and reflective dimensions that provide restorative benefits to tourists while implicitly encouraging digital detox practices. From a sustainability perspective, eco-healing tourism has the potential to support environmental conservation, enhance tourist awareness, and create economic opportunities for local communities. However, these contributions remain suboptimal due to the lack of integrated destination management. This study highlights the strategic role of eco-healing tourism in developing sustainable wellness destinations and offers practical implications for stakeholders in designing adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable tourism models. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of tourist attraction on visitor satisfaction and revisit intention at Jasmine Park, Cisauk, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. It also examines the role of visitor satisfaction as a mediator in the relationship between tourist attraction and revisit intention. The research method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.2.8, involving 150 respondents who were visitors to Jasmine Park. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to visitors who had previously visited the park. The results show that tourist attraction has a positive and significant effect on both visitor satisfaction and revisit intention. In addition, visitor satisfaction is proven to mediate the relationship between tourist attraction and revisit intention. A unique tourist attraction that meets visitors’ expectations contributes to higher satisfaction, which in turn influences visitors’ intention to revisit. The conclusion of this study is that strong tourist attractions enhance visitor satisfaction, which ultimately increases revisit intention. It is recommended that managers continuously improve facilities and services, visitors provide feedback, and local governments support the development of the tourism sector to further enhance tourist attractions in the area. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of digitalization in enhancing tourist attractiveness at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) following its revitalization. Digitalization has become an important strategy in the development of modern tourism destinations through the utilization of information technology, social media, digital service systems, and interactive technologies that support tourist experiences. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving destination managers, tourists, and individuals with knowledge of digital tourism and smart tourism implementation. The findings reveal that digitalization at TMII is manifested through the implementation of e-ticketing systems, social media platforms, destination websites, digital information services, interactive technologies, and data-driven management. These implementations contribute to enhancing tourist attractiveness through four main mechanisms: improved access to information, greater service convenience, enhanced tourist experiences, and increased visitor satisfaction. Digitalization also supports the realization of smart tourism through the effective integration of technology, information, and tourism services. This study concludes that digitalization serves as a strategic factor in strengthening tourist attractiveness and improving the competitiveness of cultural tourism destinations in the era of digital transformation. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media exposure, destination image, and food quality on Gen Z’s interest in culinary tourism in the Blok M area. This research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach, distributing questionnaires to 150 respondents who have visited Blok M. The data analysis techniques include validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that all research instruments are valid and reliable and meet the classical assumption requirements. Partially, social media exposure has a positive and significant effect on culinary tourism interest, destination image also has a positive and significant effect and is the most dominant variable, while food quality significantly influences Gen Z’s culinary tourism interest in Blok M. Simultaneously, the three variables have a significant effect on culinary tourism interest with a contribution of 66%. This indicates that increasing social media exposure, strengthening destination image, and improving food quality can enhance Gen Z’s interest in visiting Blok M for culinary tourism. Blok M itself is known as a popular urban culinary destination that is widely promoted through social media and is perceived as a trendy and accessible food hub for young people. This study provides important implications for destination managers to optimize digital promotion strategies, strengthen destination branding, and improve culinary product quality. Furthermore, this research is expected to serve as a reference for future studies examining Gen Z tourism behavior in the digital era. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the psychological carrying capacity of Kuta Beach based on tourists' evaluations of beach quality attributes (Beach Evaluation Structure) and perceived crowding. The study was motivated by the high intensity of tourist visitation, which has the potential to affect the quality of tourists' experiences and destination sustainability. A quantitative approach was employed involving 200 tourists who had visited Kuta Beach more than once. Data were collected through questionnaire surveys and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results indicate that most Beach Evaluation Structure attributes, including cleanliness of beach environment, safety, and facilities and services, received positive evaluations from tourists. In contrast, the beach protection and management dimension received relatively lower evaluations, particularly regarding coastal erosion protection and the provision of environmental information. Furthermore, tourists acknowledged that Kuta Beach becomes crowded during certain periods; however, the level of crowding remained within an acceptable range and did not significantly diminish the quality of their tourism experience. Overall, the findings suggest that the psychological carrying capacity of Kuta Beach remains within an acceptable threshold, although early signs of pressure indicate the need for sustainable destination management. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Instagram branding strategy in promoting the Umbul Songo tourist destination in Semarang Regency. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews with the destination manager, Instagram administrator, and tourists, documentation, and Instagram Insight analysis. The findings indicate that Instagram plays an important role in increasing destination visibility through visual-based content and digital promotion. Instagram Insight data recorded 940 impressions, consisting of 893 impressions from Instagram and 47 from Facebook. In addition, reels content showed higher engagement, increasing from 15% to 30%, indicating that short-form video content is more effective in attracting audience attention. Interview results revealed that Instagram influenced tourists' decisions to visit because the visual content reflected the actual conditions of the destination. The findings also show that Umbul Songo's branding strategy is strengthened by its natural conservation identity, local cultural values, and user-generated content shared by visitors. This study concludes that Instagram is an effective medium for destination branding; however, greater consistency in content management and audience engagement is needed to strengthen destination competitiveness.
