Abstract

This tourism accommodation was built aimed at equitable development of hotels that lead to east, north and west Bali. Due to the development gap between the construction of tourism facilities which will be concentrated in South Bali, it is necessary to equalize other areas of Bali such as east, west and north Bali. It also aims to develop regional income as a domestic and foreign tourist destination. The data collection methods used are, for example, the literature study method, which is the data collection method carried out by taking the necessary data from the related literatures. Either that is done by making direct observations in the field, regarding the problem being reviewed. By jumping directly to the location and see the physical condition of the area itself. As well as documentation methods, namely taking pictures to strengthen and clarify theoretical data by taking photos directly to the object. The concept of site planning will refer to the east-west oriented spatial concept. Its implementation will form the main, intermediate and blasphemous area values. Both the concept as the rising and setting of the sun and the north south associated with mountains and the sea in zoning arrangement, the layout of the entrance or entrance, the basic form of mass, mass system, mass patterns that will produce the orientation of the mass of the building, circulation and outer space. The concept of building planning where in this concept the shape of the building of the resort hotel has almost been realized in the form of the concept of interior space or called the interior of the building that displays the dimensions of the space, material and function of the space itself, where the inner space will produce the appearance of the building or face of the facade the exterior of this resort hotel The utility system concept is not spared from buildings like humans as a container for utility buildings as a channel for the nerves of human channels or buildings so that the utility system cannot be separated from being linked to the building as for the utility system which later as a basic reference for the construction of this resort hotel or as a distribution of development tourism and increase the original income of the region especially Karangasem Regency. Abstract

Semarapura City offers a spatial layout in the City Center which is friendly to tourists who have limited visiting time and has the City Area into four areas with different functions known as Catuspata. In this research, the Catuspata area becomes the center of object orientation where the road space intended for the design direction of the tourism area will be along the road space. How will the strategic potentials in the development of a tourist city, city structure and tourism area as well as road space in the form of street floors and street walls will be defined. The method used is quantitative by collecting data on physical objects in the field objectively, then measuring it with predetermined variables and displaying it in numerical form, then doing a rationalistic analysis. The analysis is based on considerations of categorization, the uniqueness of the place, the shape and situation of the site, as well as certain functions. The results and findings are very visible, in the form of a new form of Semarapura city which is no longer a royal city due to changing activities and needs of the community. The interest of the street space where the trade is more oriented for tourists. The findings from the visual point of view of the area resulted in the solid-void façade characteristics, rhythm and openings that had an effect on the quality of road space. Thus, the analysis of the structure of the city, building variables, street furniture and tourism activities that occur are findings from the characteristics of the road space which can serve as a direction for how the planning of the city's tourism area is made.

Abstract

Bale meten in Balinese architecture is one of the buildings in the yard of a traditional Balinese house that has a function as a place to store heirloom objects (it can also be called a sacred space) or as a place to sleep for the oldest person. The application of sakutus on the bale meten in the indoor area is a solution for the outside air gap to enter the room. Bale Meten Sakutus with Kampiah roof construction also functions as air circulation as well as the gap between the roof and the wall. The application of sustainable principles is very clearly applied to Balinese architectural buildings, both from the use of natural air and natural light. The loss of sakutus in the space in the bale meten indirectly causes changes in the circulation of air in and out. The closure of the gap between the wall and the roof due to the use of the ceiling may make air circulation not smooth anymore. The proof of the thermal comfort of an architecture that is still strong with traditional values and principles is the subject of this research. The method chosen for the implementation of this research is a mixed method with a focus on site or field research. The object of research in the form of bale meten will consist of two types in the same location, if necessary, it is a house or yard that is adjacent / neighboring in order to obtain optimal and objective data. Measurements were made on the same day and hour with the help of measuring instruments and temperature data from Google at the time of data collection.

Abstract

With a population of more than 10 million people, DKI Jakarta has a challenge to meet their food needs. The lack of food production in the city makes DKI Jakarta dependent on other regions for food. There is an urgent need of alternative solution to help DKI Jakarta meet its food needs. The implementation of urban farming is seen as an alternative to tackle this challenge. By conducting urban farming, food production is not limited to locations that are regulated in regulations so that the use of private land become possible. Considering that 48.41% of DKI Jakarta is a residential area, this area holds a great potential to optimize urban farming practice, especially if there is an optimal utilization of the house yard. In addition, stakeholder engagement is essential for a more effective, massive, and sustainable practice of urban farming. The optimal collaboration among Penta Helix stakeholders becomes the main goal. As DKI Jakarta is a dense city, solutions are needed to conduct urban farming in narrow areas. It is hoped that innovative architectural interventions can replace the role of the house yard as a media of conducting urban farming. This research/article also encourages further writing and/or research related to the issue of meeting food needs and increasing food security in DKI Jakarta, especially related to optimizing stakeholder engagement and more comprehensive and detailed architectural interventions to facilitate implementation in the field.

To develop Indonesia's tourism industry, the government of the Republic of Indonesia has made the tourism industry a leading sector that can help boost Indonesia's economy. The government, especially West Java Province, focuses on developing the tourism industry in West Java by making big plans for world-class tourist destinations in West Java Province. An increase in the number of tourists staying in West Java was 6.95% in 2016 and 2017, so it must be accompanied by an increase in the number of lodging accommodation The aim and purpose of the design of the Green Hotel Resort are to accommodate the increasing number of tourists who will stay in West Java and at the same time supporting the West Java Provincial Government's plans to create friendly tourist destinations. So that the theme of designing Green Hotel Resort is green architecture, which is expected to reduce environmental damage due to tourism and accommodation, due to the increase in the number of tourists to West Java Province. The design produced in this design is a hotel resort design that can maximize the potential in the site, that it can reduce energy use in buildings. This hotel resort not only functions as an accommodation facility, but is also equipped with a vehicle for educational tours of the craft and the unique culture of Tasikmalaya.
