Abstract

Intrapersonal intelligence is necessary for everyone to advance more competent abilities and personalities. As a result, initiatives to develop intelligence must be addressed, one of which is metacognitive education. Metacognition is seen to have a tight relationship with intrapersonal intelligence. Its concepts and theories have a number of similarities. This research was a qualitative study using a library research method which was used to acquire research data by reading, listening to, and interpreting both written and recorded books, notes, reports, and journals. The findings of this study suggest that students' intrapersonal intelligence may potentially be increased by metacognitive education using a set of acceptable techniques developed by education specialists.

Abstract

The role of parents in guiding their children to study from home or study online is very important, especially for children at the elementary school level, because during the learning process, sometimes children did not understand what to do for the assignments, and some of them cannot operate the learning supporting devices properly. This condition challenges parents, because they must guide their children to study from home and derive their responsibility as Civil Servants that must be completed and cannot be abandoned. This research was a case study that examined the role of parents who work as Civil Servants in guiding their children to study from home during the Covid-19. The data collection techniques used were semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation to 8 parents and their children. The study found that there were three roles of civil servant parents in guiding their children to study from home. Those roles were as a teacher in which parents teach subjects that must be mastered by their children in accordance with the educational curriculum; a facilitator in which parents provide children's needs to support the online learning process, and a motivator in which parents maintain the learning motivation of their children by giving the reward or punishment and attention.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the merger of three Sharia Banks namely Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM), Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Syariah, and Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Syariah into Bank Syariah Indonesia. The merger had legal consequences for the customers because the merger policy led to integrating customer personal data into one Big Data. This had become customers' concern related to the security and monitoring system. Consequently, legal protections were needed to secure this issue. This study aims to find a form of legal protection for Sharia Bank Customers after the merger of the three Sharia banks. This study implemented normative legal research with the statute approach and the conceptual approach. The results found that the legal protection for Sharia Bank Customers as intended consists of 2 (two) forms. First, External Protection: legal protection made by the authorities in the form of laws and regulations. Second, Internal protection: legal protection made by the Sharia Bank to secure the customers' personal data.

Abstract

The government has made various efforts to overcome the unemployment problem, one of them is through the UPTD BLK which is under the auspices of the Department of Labor (Disnaker). Efforts were being made to provide competency-based job training for the entire community in accordance with predetermined criteria. This study aimed to determine and analyze the role of UPTD BLK in providing job training to overcome unemployment in Metro City. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method by collecting data from interviews, documentation, and field observations. The results showed that there were three roles performed by UPTD BLK in alleviating unemployment, namely; 1) Active role by socializing training packages, providing training directly, evaluating by performing competency tests; 2) The role of participation by collaborating with related institutions that are willing to provide training; 3) Passive role in cooperation with third parties.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe digital marketing strategies used by cafés and restaurants during Covid-19 pandemic in Metro City – Lampung. The research employed descriptive quantitative approach by analyzing data from interviews and observations toward 10 cafés and restaurants in Metro City. The results of this study reveal that digital marketing used by cafés and restaurants in Metro City was throughout digital platforms such as Gojek and Grab, then advertising was done through social media Instagram. This shows that the use of digital platforms and social media has proven to be effective in increasing sales and maintaining the existence of a business during this COVID-19 pandemic. The results of this study can be used as a reference source for culinary entrepreneurs in various regions so that they can use digital media to maintain sales targets during the COVID-19 pandemic, where people are prohibited from doing direct activities outside the home, hopefully it can help reduce physical interaction and the spread of the virus.

Abstract

Usury is a praxis, which can cause economic disruption. Many intellectuals in the field of economics, philosophers, and religious experts have discussed this case globally. This study aims to describe the concept of Usury and how Islamic Economics view usury’s praxis, which will be described in this paper according to Quran and Hadith statements. The method used in this research is a qualitative method by conducting library research using books, journals, articles, the Holy Qur’an, and Sunnah as a source of references. The result found that Usury is prohibited in Islam because of the economic effect caused by usury praxis. There are many sources in the Quran and Hadith that can be used as references concerning the prohibition of Usury. Thus, it can be concluded that the Muslim people should follow and perform what had been stated in Quran as a guideline for living according to Islamic principles.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of mathematical communication ability of junior high school students in online learning. The research method used is descriptive quantitative using a mathematical communication ability test instrument. Indicators of mathematical communication ability that must be achieved are 1) Converting real objects, pictures, and diagrams into mathematical ideas; 2) Expressing mathematical ideas through oral, written, and visually described; 3) Analyzing and evaluating mathematical ideas both orally and in writing; 4) Modeling mathematical situations or problems using language terms or mathematical symbols, and their structures; 5) Explaining answers to problems systematically. The subjects of this study were seventh-grade students of SMP N 1 Seputih Raman. The result of this research is the level of students' mathematical communication skills in online learning is in a low category. Students with a high level of mathematical communication ability (3.64%) are able to meet the five indicators of mathematical communication skills. Students with a moderate level of mathematical communication ability (15.94%) were not able to fulfill the first and second indicators. Students with low mathematical communication ability (80.43%) cannot fulfill the five indicators.

Abstract

Nusyuz has always been related to the wife's non-compliance with her husband. Therefore, there is a difference in resolving nusyuz cases committed by husbands and wives. If nusyuz is performed by the wife, then the husband has the right to advise the wife, separate the bed, and hit with a note of not hurting. Whereas, when nusyuz is done by the husband, there is a tendency for the wife to should give up some of her rights in order to carry out a peace agreement. The purpose of this study is to enlighten the reader regarding how the concept of nusyuz is based on Sayyid Qutb’s thoughts. Kind of this study is library research, employing normative and sociological approaches. The purpose of this study is to understand Sayyid Qutb's understanding of nusyuz concept. The data in this research is taken from a tafsir book written by Sayyid Qutb entitled Tafsir Fi Zilalil Qur’an, books, and scientific research relevant to nusyuz. Afterward, in analyzing data, the researcher uses the theory formula explained by M. Quraish Shihab about the Qur’an interpreted method. This study explained that nusyuz is an act in which a person (husband or wife) accentuates and elevates by disobeying, and who does not do their obligation as a husband or wife and its solutions depend on his/her position in the household, education, family, and country's condition.

Abstract

Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah (aswaja) Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) is one of the sects that are mostly followed by the people of Sumber Makmur Village. There are so many aswaja NU's teachings that have become routine and have even become a culture attached to the people of Sumber Makmur Village. Aswaja NU's sect is also a stronghold for the entry of sects that bring radical ideas out of Islamic values. One of the methods used by aswaja NU in actualizing the values ​​of Islamic practice is to provide an understanding to the public about the importance of studying the laws used in worship, both related to God and the environment. The educational method used by aswaja NU to convey learning to the Sumber Makmur society is adopted from formal education theory combined with da'wah methods in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

The success of Islamic religious learning is based on achievements that are prioritizing character-building aspects, conscience, and concern for social phenomena in society. In order to achieve them, teachers must emphasize the students' learning motivation and engagement in the learning process by employing a humanist approach to learning. One of these approaches was initiated by Abraham Maslow in the form of a motivation theory or a theory centered on meeting student needs. This study aimed to describe the implementation of Abraham Maslow's motivation theory in Islamic religious learning. This qualitative study employed field research which collected data from direct interviews with Islamic religious teachers and seventh-grade students, and essential data relating to the variables studied from observation and documentation. The analysis used in this research was the phenomenology approach and the text related to it. Based on the findings, it was stated that the implementation of Abraham Maslow's motivation theory has been fully implemented. These needs were the fulfillment of physiological needs; fulfillment of security needs, love and affection needs, social needs, and self-actualization needs. By fulfilling these needs, students not only acquire good learning outcomes but also can develop their potential in other fields well.
