Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the physical fitness condition of elementary school (SD) students in the Sugihwaras sub-district, Bojonegoro district. The research method used is a survey. A total of 112 (56 males and 56 females) were the subjects of this study. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and percentages. The results showed that the muscular and cardiovascular fitness of male students were better than female students. However, the cardiovascular fitness of both male and female students was mostly in the beginner and developing levels. Therefore, schools, stakeholders, and physical education teachers need to better facilitate students so that they can be physically active in their spare time or at rest, take regular physical fitness measurements and create meaningful learning combined with innovative fitness-oriented games.

Abstract

Learning is an interaction between teachers and students. In carrying out learning, the teacher must be able to present the enthusiasm of students when learning, and one of them is when learning physical education. Physical education is learning that is carried out through physical activity, one of which is when learning physical education football material. This study uses the research and development model, using several steps of model development. The purpose of this study was to develop soccer learning materials using an application for MGMP Physical education teachers in the Kediri district so that MGMP Physical Education teachers would find it easier when learning. Data obtained showed that 87% of learning experts, 68% of football experts, and 100% of media experts gave an assessment of this application in a very good category. This study involved 40 subject teacher respondents who were divided into ten teachers to be used as respondents for small group product trials and 30 teachers to conduct large group trials. Based on the sum of all data analysis, it can be concluded that this product is very valid to be used as a learning support tool to help Physical Education teachers in Kediri Regency in conducting learning.

Abstract

Many studies have examined the effect of HIIT on the VO2max of a soccer athlete in sports. These various studies show that HIIT training has a positive effect on increasing an athlete's VO2max , but the results of each study tend to be different. Therefore, a comprehensive analysis is needed to provide precise and accurate information regarding the impact of HIIT training variations on an athlete's VO2max . This study focuses on testing the Effect Size of the effect of HIIT training variations on an athlete's VO2max in sports. The data from this study come from several studies that have been conducted and published on the Google Scholar database using the keywords: Influence; HIITs; VO2max ; Football. In the data analysis process, there are several steps, such as identifying variables, finding r values, converting r values into z distributions that reflect the effect size of each study, calculating variance, calculating the Standard Error of z, and performing summary effect calculations. Summary effect calculations were performed using the statistical program Jeffreys's Amazing Statistics Program (JASP). From the results of this study, it was concluded that there was a significant effect between HIIT training and an increase in VO2max in soccer athletes. The Random Effect Correlation (r_RE) has a value of 1.0602. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the impact of HIIT training on increasing VO2max in soccer athletes is significant and has a high category.

Abstract

Learning Human Anatomy uses human skeleton props in the form of human mankind. The props turned out to be ineffective because carrying them was difficult due to their relatively large size. Augmented Reality will make it easier to recognize the human body in a virtual three-dimensional, and real-time manner. The results of this study aim to determine the increase in student achievement in Human Anatomy with Augmented Reality. The research method is a quasi-experimental method. Sampling technique with simple random sampling. The samples are class C class 2021 students as the experimental class and class D class 2021 students as the control class. Data collection techniques using tests and non-tests. The instrument is an objective test of the multiple choice type, and the non-test instrument is a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using the prerequisite test for normality and homogeneity tests. The results of the t-test that was carried out with the SPSS program, it was found that the tcount value was greater than the ttable value, meaning that there was a significant difference in student achievement in the experimental class and the control class. It could be concluded that there were differences in student achievement in Human Anatomy with Augmented reality. Augmented Reality can be used to improve student achievement in Human Anatomy.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effectiveness of plyometric exercises in improving ball speed in the flying shoot technique for handball athletes in Bojonegoro District during the training to compete phase. The research design for this study is the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, utilizing a pre-experimental design approach with a descriptive quantitative research method. The sample was taken using total sampling, consisting of 13 male handball athletes from Bojonegoro District. The instrument used in this study was a ball speed test. Normality testing was conducted using the Shapiro-Wilk test, and it was found that the pretest-posttest data for ball speed were normally distributed with a significance value of 0,151 for the pretest and 0,323 for the posttest, both greater than 0,05. Homogeneity testing using Levene's Test yielded a significance value of 0,320 > 0,05. Hypothesis testing using the T-Test resulted in a ball speed test score of 0,000 < 0,05. The study concludes that there is a significant impact of plyometric training on improving ball speed in the flying shoot technique for male handball athletes in Bojonegoro District during the training to compete phase.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the impact of core stability training variations on the speed of the crescent kick among Pencak Silat athletes from the Lapan Penjuru club at SMPN 29 Medan in 2024. Lapan Penjuru is a dedicated Pencak Silat training program integrated into the school. The research employed an experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 20 student-athletes, from which 8 participants were selected through purposive sampling. The training intervention was conducted over six weeks, with sessions held three times a week. Data analysis using a paired-sample t-test revealed a calculated t-value (tₒ) of 10.93, which exceeds the critical t-table value of 1.89 at a significance level of α = 0.05 with 7 degrees of freedom. These results led to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H₀) and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ). Therefore, it can be concluded that variations in core stability training have a significant positive effect on improving crescent kick speed among Pencak Silat athletes at SMPN 29 Medan.
