Abstract

The aims of this activity are: (1) to disseminate the results of research from a team of stewards on the development of learning materials authentic inquiry based learning to develop problem solving and scientific attitude; (2) to develop the skills of teachers in guiding students for doing investigation or inquiry; (3) to develop the skills of teachers in developing learning material with authentic inquiry approach; (4) to develop the skill of teachers in  teaching with implementation of authentic inquiry leaning approach. The target participant of this activity is 26 teacher members of MGMP IPA SMP Magelang regency. This activity is done in three stages, including the stage of theoretical training, practical training phase and the evaluation phase. The methods used are: lecture, modeling, discussion, and workshop. The results showed that the overall activity of PPM activity has been successful in reaching the target activity. Most of the participants are already skilled in guiding student for doing inquiry. Most participants also been able to develop student worksheet based on authentic inquiry learning approach and half of student worksheets have contain of problem solving and scientific attitude development. Most of the group of participant can teaching science through the authentic inquiry approach very Good because most of the steps of authentic inquiry learning approach has be done by all group

Abstract

This activity aims to facilitate the development of SME's Shuttlecock inSukoharjo. It was become a business cluster for supporting local economic development. The SME that becomes the partners in this activity were Aiwan Shuttlecock and Delima Shuttlecock. There are three activities which have been done for them, namely: production management, marketing, and accounting. The results of this activity involve: (1) SME entrepreneurs understood the good production process of shuttlecock based on the work operational standards; (2) SME entrepreneurs were able to use marketing medias to promote shuttlecock product in the form online medias; and (3) SME used accounting for financial bookeeping and accessing financial resource both government fund and private fund. In the future, the government of Sukoharjo District can promote SME's Shuttlecock as local economic icon

Abstract

Kegiatan  ini bertujuan  memberi  kursus kepada  anak-anak  usia TK dan SD putra-putri pegawai    UNiversitas    Negeri    Yogyakarta    dan   masyarakat    sekitar    dengan   tujuan    1). Sosialisasi   Universitas   Negeri  Yogyakarta,  dalam  rangka  ikut  menunjang   kegiatan  wisata kampus,  2). Pengabdian   pada  masyarakat,   3). Pembinaan   pada  anak  sesuai  dengan  tujuan pendidikan    seni   rupa,   4).   Memberikan    altematif    pengembangan     kreatifitas,    fantasi, sensitivitas,  dan ekspresi  anak.Kegiatan   ini diikuti  sebanyak  36 peserta,  yang  terdiri  dari  11 anak  usia  TK  dan  25anak  usia  SD. Dalam  pelaksanaan   kegiatan  digunakan   pendekatan   secara  individual   dan klasikal,   penyampaiannya    dengan   ceramah   ("bermain")    yang  meliputi   tentang   Iukisan anak-anak,  teknik  lukisan anak, dan praktek.  Untuk meningkatkan   kemampuan  praktek  dan pengembangan    kreatifitas    dengan   banyak   memberikan    motivasi,   contoh   serta   Iatihan­ latihan.Secara  keseluruhan,   kegiatan  kursus  ini telah  berjalan  dengan  lancar,  dan hasil nyata yang telah dicapai  yaitu berupa karya lukisan  sebanyak  161 buah. Kata kunci : Seni lukis anak

Abstract

Menurut  survei  yang dilakukan  Pusbangsijian   Lemlit  Universitas   Negeri  Yogyakarta  tahun  1995 kemampuan   guru SMP dalam menyusun  dan menganalisis   soal tes sang at rendah,   Oleh karena  itu Pusbangsijian   merasa  terpanggil  untuk melakukan pelatihan  dan pembinaan   penyusunan   dan analisis  soal tes bagi guru  SMP se D.1. Yogyakarta.Sesuai  dengan  permasalahannya,    tujuan  pelatihan  ini adalah  untuk meningkatkan   kemampuan   guru  SMP dan menyusun dan  menganalisis   soal  tes,  baik  soal  tes bentuk  uraian  maupun  bentuk  objektif     Metode  yang  digunakan   untuk  mencapai tujuan  ini adalah  pelatihan   dan pembinaan.    Selain  metode  ceramah  dan diskusi,  metode  latihan  dan  pemberian   tugas juga digunakan  dalam pelatihan  ini.  Pada waktu-waktu  tertentu. Tim pelatih mengunjungi  seko1ah tempat peserta  pelatihan mengajar. Dengan  kunjungan  ini Tim pelatih  dapat memantau  kegiaan  peserta  dan memberikan  bantuan  atau bimbingan  bila peserta  dan memberikan   bantuan  atau  bimbingan   bila  peserta  mengalami   kesulitan  dalam  mempraktikkan    menyusun   dan menganalisis soal tes.  Oleh   karen a pelatihan   ini juga  pembinaan   maka  waktu  pelatihan  berlangsung   selama  tiga  bulan.Hasil  yang  diperoleh   dari  kegiatan  ini adalah  kemampuan   guru  dalam  menyusun  dan menganalisis   soal tes meningkat. Hal  ini  terbukti   dari  soal  tes  meningkat.     Hal  ini  terbukti   dari  soal  tes  yang  mereka  buat.  Soal  yang  dibuat  guru  sudah mempunyai  validitas  isi yang cukup baik, artinya  sampel  soal sudah cukup mewakili  materi yang telah diajarkan.   Selanjutnya, hasil analisis  soal tes secara  teoritik  (analisis  konstruk)  dari  10 soal yang diambil  secara  acak hanya ada  18 dari 250 butir soal at au sekitar  7% butir  soal yang pokok  soalnya  masih memerlukan   perbaikan.   Apabila  dilihat  dari alternatif  jawaban,  jumlah butir yang memiliki jawaban   kurang  memenuhi  syarat ada  18 atau sekitar  7%.  Setelah dicermati,  ternyata  tidak ada butir yang memiliki  kesalahan  ganda  maka  dapat  dikatakan  bahwa jumlah  butir  yang masih memerlukan   pembenahan   ada 36 butir  atau sekitar  14% dari keseluruhan   butir.   lni berarti  bahwa jumlah  butir yang  memenuhi  syarat  ada 86% .  Jumlah  butir  yang baik akan menurun  manakala  dilihat  dari analisis  secara  empirik.   Dari 250 butir seal, hanya ada  109 at au sekitar  43,6% yang baik. Kesalahan   yang  sangat  mencolok   adalah  tingkat  kesulitan   soal, yakni  soal terlalu  sulit bagi  siswa.   Selanjutnya   dilihat  dari kemampuan   menganalisis    soal  tes,  kemampuan   peserta  juga  meningkat.     Hal  ini  dapat  diketahui   dari  hasil  analisis  yang mereka  buat.  Sewaktu  mengerjakan   tugas menganalisis  soal tes, peserta  dibagi menjadi  tujuh kelompok.   Dari tujuh kelompok, hanya  satu kelompok  yang belum  selesai.   Setelah  disampel  tiga untuk  ditampilkan,   ternyata  semuanya  benar.   Dari hasil  ini dapat  disimpulkan   bahwa  cara  pelatihan   dan  pembina an seperti  ini ternyata  dapat  meningkatkan    kemampuan   guru  dalam menyusun   dan  menganalisis   soal tes.   Oleh  karenanya   disarankan   agar  pelatihan   dan pembinaan   seperti  ini diteruskan   dan disebarluaskan    agar lebih  banyak  guru yang  mampu  menyusun  dan menganalisis   soallebih   baik,

Abstract

Activity program of PPM Reguler about exploiting of rice bran or bekatul as component of food having potency as functional food because content gizi and its the benefit for health in Kelurahan Wedomartani has been compiled dur- ing survey that in location in big supply rice bran. Skilled training processed this rice bran has successfully is executed carefully during 3 times looks in the face in the form of the management of training in a word, that is theory phase, phase practice and motivation phase. Theory matter given is (a) nutrition poten- tial about rice bran for health; (b) knowledge about functional food; (c) prepara- tion and cooking rice bran; (d) sanitary hygiene in processing rice bran; and (e) packaging rice bran product. Theory matter is given [by] during 180 minutes. Practice matter given is processing rice branl to become four barium food products rice bran, that is: rice bran meals, brownies bekatul steam, bekatul ti- wul ayu and bekatul coconut cookies. This matter given during 360 minutes by the way of dividing participant in 4 group. Result from competition in moti- vation phase is obtained [by] 5 food product with addition rice bran is varying either continental food and also traditional food, that is: pudding bekatul young coconut, cake caramel bekatul, good time bekatul cookies, nagasari bekatul and klepon bekatul. This  training  told  is  success  because  has  as  according  to  Indikator success specified, that is training expressed is success if 90% participant follow training till finish and proved from presensi presence, and 80% participant has enough value in information test and skilled so that expressed is creative and can process rice bran to become multifarious of food product at the time of competition. Result of assessment of presence shows result of 99% participant to come to follow training till finish and 96% training participant has know- ledge either. While from position or response to existence of rice bran  86,4% expressed agrees if bekatul is applied as component of nourishment and it is good to is consumed. While evaluating practicing (skilled) has seen more than 60% has owned good ability in preparation, process and presentation, whereas 100% participant has owned creativity.

Abstract

This   program   of  implementation    Science,   Technology    and  Arts (Ipteks)  intended  to  introduce  and  give  skill  training  about  making  chips from  fish skins (kerupuk  kulit  ikan)  to the community   in Tanjungsari   Sub­ district,  Gunungkidul   Regency.  In this  area,  there  are  plenty  of  fish  skins that can pollute  and disturb  the beauty  of the environment.   Producing  chips from fish skins can reduce the pollutant  and increase  the value of fish skins.The  program   was  held  by  giving   information   and  demonstration methods  in two locations  with different  participants.   The first program  was held  in Tanjungsari  Sub-district   Hall  for 35 participants,   who  were  village chiefs'    wives.   The   second   program   was   held   at  Baron   beach   hall   to accommodate  20 participants,  consisting  of fishermen's   wives and members of youth group.The questionnaire  result  of first program  showed  that  85.71 % of theparticipants   considered  this  program  profitable   and  74.28%  said  that  they were  interested  to  develop  business  in  producing   fish  skin  chips.  All  the participants   (100%)   of  the  second   program   said  that   the  program   was profitable  and  they  were  interested  to  develop   business   in producing   fish skin  chips.  Thus,  the  program   succeeded   in  broadening   the  participants' perspectives  and  skills  on how  to make  use  of   waste,  turning  it into fish skin  chips  and  to  motivate  the  participants   to  develop   business  using  the knowledge  and skills already obtained.Key words:fish skin waste.fish skin drips

Abstract

This research is aimed to disclose fogging machine application effectiveness for improving klengkeng pingpong seed production. The effectiveness of fogging machine may be measured based on the degree of the fogging machine usage success in klengkeng pingpong nursery process, whose degree of achievement shall be higher than nursery process conducted in natural manner. The research result shows that the average degree of achievement in klengkeng  pingpong  nursery  in  way  of  seedling,  top  grafting,  bridging  or marcot, by using fogging machine is 79.26%. Meanwhile klengkeng pingpong nursery process in natural manner is approximately 40%. In return to this, it indicates that fogging machine usage on klengkeng pingpong nursery is deemed effective as it  has exceeded successful level of natural klengkeng pingpong nursery. Thus, it may eventually be applied in improving klengkeng pingpong seed production

Abstract

Tujuan  dari kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan  alat-alat bantu pengajaran bagi gum-guru  sekolahdasar ini adalah agar para peserta dapat  (1) mernilih, rnerancang, dan membuat alat peraga IPA yang diperIukan sesuai dengan bahan yang diajarkan; (2) memanfaatkan bahan bekas layak pakai yang ada disekitarnya untuk dibuat alat bantu pengajaran IPA; dan (3) menghasilkan alat bantu pengajaran IPA yang layak untuk melengkapi koleksi alat peraga IPA di sekolah.Kegiatan pelatihan inidilaksanakan  di kantor  Ranting Dinas P dan K Kecarnatan Samigaluh Kabupaten  KolW1 Progo,  pada  tanggal  9,  16, dan  23  September2000.  Jumlah  peserta  pelatihan sebanyak 27 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah diskusi informasi, woskshop, dan percobaan.Selarna  kegiatan  pelatihan  telah  dihasilkan  13  alat  bantu  pengajaran  IPA.  Hasil  evaluasikegiatan  pelatihan  berdasarkan  angket  yang  disebarkan  kepada  para  pesert  arnenunjukkan  bhwa peserta merasa puas dengan meteri yang disajikan serta menginginkan diselenggaraknnya kegiatan lanjutan dengan maateri yang berbeda.Kata  kunci : Pelatihan,  alat  bantu  pengajaran,

Abstract

This IbM activity aims to: (1) improve knowledge and understanding of the participants on the basic concepts and principles on how to manufacture cattle feed supplements UMMB, (2) improve the skills of the trainees (breeders) in producing animal feed supplements UMMB; (3) increase the motivation of participants to develop the business of making cattle feed supplements in the village UMMB partners. The training was conducted by lecturing, discussion-information, workshops, and limited dissemination. This activity involves four lecturers, 3 students and 45 cattle breeders from 55 targeted participants. The cattle ranchers are from Jatisarono and Wijilan Villages, Nanggulan District, Kulonprogo. This program also involved Local Supervisor for Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (PPL) and village officials. Implementation activities began on June 26, 2012 and went on to the workshop stage. In general, the training was successful and on target. It can be seen from the increasing knowledge and understanding of cattle ranchers to manufacture cattle feed supplements UMMB at each stage of the PPM so that the workshop stage. The implementation of UMMB on cattle has fattened up the cattle by 10-12 pounds per week on a sample test cows.Key words: UMMB, fattening, supplements, and cattle

Abstract

Activity   of  service   community   have  objects:   (1)  after  upgrading, partie Sainsnts  have   a skill to use of science  equipment  needed  of CTL,  (2) partie  Sainsnts   have     a  skill  to  use,  plan,  and  make  science   equipment needed  of CTL,  (3) partie  Sainsnts  have  a skill  to complete  the  equipment with work sheet,  (4) partie  Sainsnts  have   a skill to make science  equipment from second-hand  materialThe   activity    is   explaining,    information-discussion,     work   group,workshop  and experiment.   The activity  is carried  out classical  and group  for24  hour.  The  activity   is  explaining,   discussion,   topic  choosing   that  are continued  work group  and presentation.Based  on observation   can  be concluded:  (1) increase  of skill  to use of science  equipment   needed  of CTL,  (2) increase  of skill  to use,  plan,  and make  science   equipment    needed   of  CTL,  (3)  particSainsnts    have   made science  equipment   completed   with  work  sheet,  and  (4) particSainsnts   have had a skill to make  science  equipment  from second-hand  material.
