Abstract

Education not only plays a role in building academic intelligence, but also in shaping students' morality and spirituality. This research explores the synergy between school management and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in improving students' spiritual competence. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research asks the question: how does collaboration between school management and PAI teachers contribute to the formation of students' spirituality? Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation at a school that implemented an integrated religious program. The research results show that school management support that is in line with the example of PAI teachers creates an environment that supports students' spiritual development. This synergy not only enriches students' understanding of religion, but also builds moral values ​​in their daily lives. This research has a significant impact in developing an educational model that prioritizes spirituality, relevant for schools that want to strengthen students' spiritual competence through a collaborative and sustainable approach.

Abstract

This study aims to research the innovation of extracurricular programs carried out by school principals to build 21st-century skills in students at SMP Negeri 2 Limboto. Extracurricular program innovation It is considered a strategy to develop the skills required by students in the 21st-century era, such as creativity, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. This study uses a qualitative approach by analyzing the innovation of extracurricular programs implemented by the principal of SMP Negeri 2 Limboto. The study results show that extracurricular program innovations carried out by school principals have a significant role in building 21st-century skills in students. Various innovatively designed extracurricular programs can help students develop critical, creative, communicative, and collaborative skills. In addition, the innovation also provides a space for students to explore their interests and talents outside of the formal curriculum. However, it was found that there were several obstacles related to the program's implementation, namely budget limitations, inadequate facilities, and lack of special training for teachers. These constraints hinder the effectiveness and sustainability of extracurricular programs designed to meet the needs of 21st-century skills. The implication of the results of this study is the need for further support for school principals in developing and implementing extracurricular program innovations relevant to the demands of 21st-century proficiency needs.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the teacher performance evaluation system in the context of Islamic education management. Evaluation of teacher performance is an important component in improving the quality of Islamic education. This research examines how the Islamic perspective views teacher performance evaluation and its implementation in Islamic educational institutions. The research method used in this research is a literature review, the data of which is obtained from various relevant literature. The research results show that: First, the concept of teacher performance evaluation in Islam is based on the principles of al-ilah (justice), trust, and continuity which originate from the Al-Quran and Hadith. Second, teacher performance evaluation indicators not only cover professional aspects (pedagogical, social, personality and professional) but also spiritual aspects which include understanding and implementing Islamic values ​​in learning. Third, the implementation of teacher performance evaluation in Islamic education institutions shows an integrative pattern between national competency standards and Islamic values. This research concludes that teacher performance evaluation from an Islamic education management perspective is a comprehensive system that combines aspects of professionalism with Islamic spiritual values, which aims not only to improve the quality of learning but also to build the Islamic character of students.

Abstract

Hubungan Masyarakat (Humas) di lembaga pendidikan memegang peranan strategis dalam membangun citra positif dan mendukung keberhasilan lembaga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran humas internal dan eksternal di SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Kepahiang dan memberikan rekomendasi strategi optimalisasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen di lima sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun beberapa sekolah memanfaatkan media sosial dan menjalin hubungan eksternal, pengelolaan humas belum optimal karena keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, kurangnya strategi komunikasi, dan minimnya penggunaan teknologi. Penelitian ini menawarkan rekomendasi yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi setempat, seperti penguatan komunikasi internal melalui forum rutin, optimalisasi media sosial, dan peningkatan kapasitas staf humas. Penerapan strategi tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan citra positif sekolah, meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat, dan mendukung tujuan pendidikan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the technology-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching module encouraging religious moderation at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in North Gorontalo. This study uses a qualitative approach to collect data through observation, interviews, and analysis of teaching module documents used in several madrasah. The results show that technology-based teaching modules, which integrate multimedia applications, learning videos, and e-learning platforms, have great potential to increase student engagement and facilitate their understanding of religious moderation values, such as tolerance, inclusivity, and respect for differences. However, the study also found several challenges, including limited technological infrastructure and a lack of teacher competence to optimise technology. Therefore, it is necessary to increase support through training for teachers and the development of technological infrastructure in madrasas to maximise the effectiveness of technology-based teaching modules. The conclusion of this study emphasises that with the proper support, technology-based teaching modules can be an effective tool in shaping moderate attitudes among Madrasah Tsanawiyah students, thereby encouraging more robust religious moderation in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of digital literacy and communication ethics on social media among Madrasah Aliyah (MA) teachers in North Gorontalo Regency in the post-truth era. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and analysis of related documents. The results show that although the term "digital literacy" is less familiar, teachers have understood the concept and importance of digital literacy in managing information. They demonstrate the ability to identify valid information and double-check it before disseminating it on social media. In addition, teachers' communication ethics are well considered, including accuracy and responsibility in sharing information. However, the study also found challenges related to the lack of formal training and supportive policies. Therefore, it is necessary to increase training programs and awareness of the importance of digital literacy and communication ethics to strengthen the role of teachers as role models in managing information in the digital era. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that with the right support, digital literacy and communication ethics can be an important foundation in facing information challenges in society

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi sistem boarding school di SMA Islam Terpadu Al Qalam Gowa Boarding School yang berlokasi di Jl. Tamanyeleng, Kecamatan Barombong, Kabupaten Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan dan baru di dirikan pada tahun 2023. Dengan fokus pada pertanyaan penelitian tentang model Boarding School yang diterapkan di SMAIT Al Qalam Gowa, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan kepala sekolah dan wakil kesiswaan serta observasi lapangan selama dua hari pada Oktober 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SMA Islam Terpadu Al Qalam Gowa dengan model Boarding School yang mengimplementasikan delapan program unggulan yang mengintegrasikan pendidikan akademik dengan nilai-nilai Islam, yang diantaranya meliputi Leadership Development Program, Islamic Studies & Dormitory Program, Computer Based Learning, Enterpreneusihip, Research Culture, Study Tour, Bilingual, dan Hifdzul Mutun Class Of Nabawi Al Munawarrah. Sistem ini didukung oleh struktur organisasi yang komprehensif dan tenaga pendidik berkualifikasi minimal S1. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang model Boarding School yang dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengembangan sekolah berasrama serupa.

Abstract

Program Sekolah Ramah Anak di SMA Negeri 5 Bukittinggi menghadapi beberapa permasalahan yang menghambat efektivitas pelaksanaannya. Salah satu permasalahan utama adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan komitmen dari seluruh pihak sekolah, termasuk guru, siswa, dan staf administrasi, terhadap konsep dan implementasi sekolah ramah anak. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Program Sekolah Ramah Anak dan Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah terhadap Pemenuhan Hak Anak di SMAN 5 Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasi. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui angket. Berdasarkan hasil uji simultan melalui model ANOVA menunjukkan nilai F hitung sebesar 24,654 dengan signifikansi 0,000 lebih besar dari F tabel 3,10, mengindikasikan bahwa Program Sekolah Ramah Anak dan Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Pemenuhan Hak Anak. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,971 menunjukkan bahwa 97,1% variasi dalam Pemenuhan Hak Anak dapat dijelaskan oleh Program Sekolah Ramah Anak dan Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, sedangkan 2,9% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Abstract Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak program pembinaan kepemimpinan melalui organisasi kesiswaan di Madrasah Aliyah Al Amiriyah terhadap pengembangan keterampilan kepemimpinan dan nilai-nilai moral siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dan wawancara terstruktur kepada siswa yang aktif dalam OSIS dan klub kesiswaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi dalam organisasi kesiswaan signifikan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa melalui pengembangan keterampilan memimpin, berkomunikasi, dan mengelola proyek. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga mendorong penyelarasan dengan nilai-nilai sekolah, seperti integritas, kerja keras, dan penghargaan terhadap keberagaman, yang menjadi bagian integral dari kurikulum madrasah. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pendekatan holistik dalam pendidikan untuk membentuk siswa yang siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan dengan keyakinan, moral yang kuat, dan keterampilan yang relevan untuk sukses dalam kehidupan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman tentang peran organisasi kesiswaan dalam pembentukan karakter dan persiapan siswa untuk menghadapi kompleksitas dunia modern dengan kesiapan yang optimal. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya peran kepala sekolah dalam memotivasi perilaku organisasi pendidikan guna menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang inspiratif. Lingkungan ini tidak hanya mendukung pengembangan siswa secara holistik tetapi juga mendorong inovasi dan kolaborasi antara guru, staf, dan siswa. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengeksplorasi strategi kepala sekolah SMA PGRI 2 Kayen dalam memotivasi perilaku organisasi pendidikan dan memahami dampaknya terhadap pencapaian lingkungan sekolah yang inspiratif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi digunakan dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan metode fenomenologi Creswell, melibatkan pengorganisasian data, identifikasi tema utama, deskripsi pengalaman, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah SMA PGRI 2 Kayen menerapkan strategi seperti komunikasi efektif, penghargaan terhadap prestasi, dan peningkatan kesejahteraan karyawan. Lingkungan yang inspiratif ini meningkatkan disiplin, prestasi siswa, dan kebahagiaan kerja guru. Strategi ini berkontribusi pada pencapaian prestasi siswa di tingkat nasional hingga internasional, serta penguatan budaya organisasi berbasis nilai-nilai Islami. Penelitian ini berdampak pada pemahaman manajemen pendidikan dan kepemimpinan sekolah, terutama dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif untuk pengembangan potensi individu dan organisasi qualitative phenomenological approach method used with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation. The analysis was carried out based on Creswell's phenomenological method, involving data organization, identification of key themes, description of experiences, and triangulation. The results of the study show that the principal of SMA PGRI 2 Kayen implements strategies such as effective communication, appreciation for achievement, and improvement of employee welfare. This inspiring environment improves discipline, student achievement, and teacher work happiness. This strategy contributes to the achievement of student achievement at the national and international levels, as well as the strengthening of organizational culture based on Islamic values. This research has an impact on the understanding of education management and school leadership, especially in creating an environment conducive to the development of individual and organizational potential.
