Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the curriculum in higher education institutions based on the Independent Learning–Independent Campus (MBKM) policy, with a focus on the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program at Mandiri University, Bandung. The MBKM policy, launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, aims to provide flexibility and freedom for students to develop their potential, competencies, and skills across disciplines through learning outside of their study program. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of MBKM has had a positive impact on student competency development, particularly in terms of improving soft skills, contextual experiences, and readiness for the world of work. Overall, the MBKM curriculum encourages a more adaptive, collaborative, and relevant learning transformation to meet current needs. Therefore, strengthening academic governance, synergizing with stakeholders, and updating the curriculum are crucial to supporting the sustainability of the MBKM program in higher education institutions.

Abstract

Agile leadership is agile leadership in dealing with every problem that exists in an organization. So in this study, the aim is to find out how the Agile leadership of a kyai in the Nurussalam Modern Islamic boarding school is. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive research with a case study design. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews and participant recording. Data analysis is carried out using data reduction, data services and conclusion drawn. The validation test is checked for its credibility, transferability, reliability, and confirmation through data triangulation and informant review. The results of this study show that the agile leadership of seorng kayai in the Nurussalam Islamic Boarding School is shown by collaborating with a strong team, role models and motivators, innovating in developing Islamic boarding schools, being quick in making decisions, and collaborating with the community in developing Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

The integration of social and cultural values with Islamic teachings will strengthen the educational process in producing a generation that is not only knowledgeable but also socially aware and culturally adaptable. Islamic education must function as a means of social transformation and strengthening cultural identity based on Islamic values.The purpose of this research is to find out the application of social integration in Islamic religious education, the object of research in this study is SMA Plus Tourism Bandung, the emphasis of this research is qualitative descriptive. The data collection technique is by observation, documentation and interviews, while the data analysis is through reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The data collection technique is using interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the application of PAI learning integration with socio-culture at SMA Plus Tourism Bandung is the first of the Integration of PAI Materials with social and cultivated activities through the preparation of syllabus, lesson plans, KD, and indicators that contain local social and cultural values such as mutual cooperation, good manners, and tolerance. The second part of the Learning Strategy covers various social and cultural activities such as social service, PHBI, flash Islamic boarding schools, the use of traditional clothing, and Islamic art practices. This approach fosters social awareness, strengthens the Islamic ukhuwah, and unites Islamic teachings with local traditions. The implementation problems include: Lack of teacher competence, especially in mastery of technology and cultural approaches, second, Lack of synergy and communication between PAI teachers, third, Low interest in learning some students in PAI subjects, fourth, limitations in supervision and evaluation of integrative activities.

Abstract

Kindergartens located in less strategic areas often face significant challenges in attracting a sufficient number of students. This study aims to analyze the competitive advantage strategies implemented by a foundation in managing a kindergarten facing such challenges, particularly concerning its location and suboptimal student enrollment. The research focuses on identifying superior development strategies to enhance the school’s competitiveness and sustainability, including program differentiation, service quality improvement, innovative marketing approaches, and strengthening relationships with the local community. A qualitative case study method was employed at a Raudhatul Athfal (RA) school under a foundation in Malang, Indonesia. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that effective competitive strategies include personal approaches to parents, value-based flagship programs, the use of social media for branding, and flexible tuition policies. Value-based differentiation strategies have proven to enhance the community's positive perception, gradually contributing to increased student enrollment. This study provides practical insights for school administrators and foundations in designing relevant strategies despite limited resources. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pendidikan siswa tunarungu di SLBN Cicendo, Bandung. Sebagai kurikulum inklusi yang diperkenalkan pada tahun 2022, Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan fleksibilitas bagi pendidik untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran yang berbeda yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan individu. Menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam dan analisis dokumen, penelitian ini menyoroti strategi, tantangan, dan inovasi dalam pengajaran, dukungan emosional, dan persiapan kesiapan kerja. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa para guru menggunakan strategi adaptif seperti komunikasi total, pembelajaran kontekstual, dan pengajaran individual untuk mengakomodasi siswa dengan gangguan pendengaran, termasuk siswa dengan disabilitas tambahan. Selain itu, pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman membantu menumbuhkan kemandirian dan pemikiran kritis. Dukungan emosional dan sosial ditekankan melalui penilaian non-akademik dan pelatihan guru dalam pengembangan sosio-emosional. Sekolah ini juga memfasilitasi pengalaman kerja di dunia nyata melalui program magang dengan lebih dari 40 organisasi mitra. Namun, tantangan tetap ada, terutama dalam menyesuaikan kemampuan siswa dengan tuntutan dunia kerja. Untuk mengatasinya, sekolah terus mengevaluasi penempatan kerja dan memperkuat kolaborasi dengan industri yang ramah terhadap inklusi. Studi ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya adaptasi kurikulum inklusif di luar ruang kelas, dengan melibatkan pemangku kepentingan di masyarakat dan industri. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada wacana pendidikan inklusif dengan menawarkan model untuk mengadaptasi kebijakan kurikulum nasional dengan realitas siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Rekomendasi yang diberikan mencakup pelatihan guru secara berkelanjutan, penyediaan media pembelajaran yang mudah diakses, dan perluasan jaringan pendidikan inklusif.

Abstract

This study addresses the challenge of integrating religious values into science learning, a gap often resulting in low student engagement and weak character development. The research examines the effect of an Islamic-based contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model on the science learning motivation and environmental care attitudes of Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Takalar. Using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, the study involved two groups: an experimental group receiving Islamic-based CTL and a control group taught with conventional methods. Data were collected through pretest–posttest measurements and analysed using descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, and hypothesis testing with SPSS 24. The results revealed that the experimental group experienced a significant improvement in science learning motivation (25.14% increase) and environmental care attitude (25.43% increase), compared to the control group’s modest gains of 9.44% and 9.70%, respectively. Statistical analysis confirmed that these differences were significant, indicating the effectiveness of Islamic-based CTL in fostering cognitive engagement and positive behavioural change. It is concluded that integrating Islamic values within CTL strengthens students’ intrinsic motivation and moral responsibility toward environmental stewardship. The model thus contributes to the pedagogical framework of CTL by embedding spiritual values into practical learning contexts. This research provides theoretical enrichment for CTL models and practical guidance for educators seeking holistic approaches to science education. Future studies should explore similar integrations across subjects and educational levels to reinforce sustainable, value-based education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pelaksanaan manajemen pembiayaan pendidikan di Mts Miftahul Ulum Cijambe, Purwakarta, guna memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembiayaan pendidikan dalam rangka mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara sistematis untuk menggambarkan realitas empiris di lapangan. Hasil dalam penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pembiayaan di MTs Miftahul Ulum dilaksanakan melalui rapat tahunan yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, bendahara, staf tata usaha, dan guru. Kendati demikian, terdapat kendala dalam menyelaraskan antara rencana anggaran dengan realisasi keuangan. Oleh karena itu, pihak sekolah mengantisipasinya dengan menyiapkan dana darurat sebagai langkah preventif. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, pembiayaan dikelola secara transparan melalui sistem pembukuan yang tertib, meliputi buku kas umum, daftar gaji, buku tabungan sekolah, dan pencatatan iuran SPP. Sumber pembiayaan utama berasal dari SPP siswa dan Dana BOS. Evaluasi pembiayaan dilakukan secara internal oleh kepala sekolah, bendahara, dan tim tata usaha, serta secara eksternal oleh komite sekolah dan pengawas Kemenag setiap semester. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan ternyata pengelolaan pembiayaan pendidikan di MTs Miftahul Ulum dilaksanakan secara terencana, transparan, dan akuntabel melalui perencanaan tahunan, pelaksanaan dengan sistem pembukuan yang tertib, serta evaluasi berkala, meskipun masih terbatas pada kendala penyesuaian anggaran dan realisasi keuangan yang diantisipasi dengan penyediaan dana darurat.

Abstract

This study addresses the need to nurture multicultural values in increasingly diverse school environments. At SMP Negeri 3 Palopo, where students represent varied ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers are central in fostering tolerance, empathy, and mutual respect. The research aims to explore and interpret the teachers' strategies to embed multicultural values and reveal the meanings attached to their practices. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, participants—comprising PAI teachers, students, and school leaders—were selected purposively. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document review, and then analyzed thematically with triangulation and member checking to ensure validity. Findings identify three interrelated strategies: integrating multicultural values into lesson content, applying interactive and participatory teaching methods, and consistently modeling inclusive behaviors in daily school life. These strategies mutually reinforce one another, shaping students’ knowledge, attitudes, and social skills and transforming multicultural principles into real-life practices. The study concludes that effective multicultural education blends curriculum integration, active pedagogy, and exemplary conduct. Theoretically, it extends culturally responsive teaching to religious education; practically, it offers actionable guidance for schools aiming to build inclusive, harmonious learning spaces.

Abstract

This research was conducted because based on the results of observations it was found that many students could not apply morals properly at school. It aims to find out the role and strategy of Islamic religious education and ethics subject teachers in shaping the morals of students at SMPN 2 Telukjambe Timur. This research method uses a qualitative research approach with a case study approach. The subjects of this research used Islamic religious education and character education subject teachers and 9 students. The research analysis begins with collecting data, reducing data, presenting data to drawing conclusions. the series is presented in a description so that it is easy for readers to understand The results of the study state that students experience moral changes because there is external encouragement through Islamic religious education and character education teachers. In addition, school programmes and a good learning environment can encourage students to learn to become better individuals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh fenomena siswa siswi Pondok Pesantren Al-muhajirin 3 yang kurang fasih membaca Qur'an. Dengan data rinci tentang kondisi siswa yang disebutkan di atas, upaya dan tindakan yang nyata dalam bentuk pelatihan sebagai bentuk pengabdian. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa-siswi dalam pembelajaran Tahfizh, adalah dengan melakukan pelatihan dengan metode Ummi untuk memperkuat kemampuan siswa-siswi membaca Al-qur’an.. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode Ummi Foundation terhadap santri Pondok Pesantren Al-Muhajirin 3, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendorong dan menghambat pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survey research untuk mengkaji pengaruh penerapan metode Ummi Foundation terhadap santri Pondok Pesantren Al-Muhajirin 3. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui instrumen survei yang disusun untuk mengukur persepsi, penerapan, dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi metode tersebut. Analisis data meliputi analisis deskriptif untuk menggambarkan karakteristik responden dan distribusi variabel, analisis regresi untuk mengetahui hubungan dan pengaruh antarvariabel, serta uji parsial untuk mengidentifikasi kontribusi masing-masing faktor terhadap hasil belajar santri. Hasil analisis menunjukkan penerapan metode Ummi Foundation berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa, dengan koefisien regresi 0,540 dan persamaan Y = 23,137 + 0,540X, serta nilai t-hitung (6,197) > t-tabel (1,99125) dan Sig. 0,001 < 0,05. Sehingga berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penerapan metode ummi foundation terhadap kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa kelas VIII SMP Pondok Pesantren Al-Muhajirin.
