Abstract

Abstract: This is a pre-experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test design. It aimed to find out a significant effect of Think Pair Share technique on reading comprehension in narrative texts of the second year students at SMAN 1 Kateman, INHIL Regency. The population of this research was all of the second year students at SMAN 1 Kateman which consists of 278 students.  Cluster random sampling technique was used to select one class to be the sample. As a result, class XI Science 1 with 33 students was chosen as the sample. The instrument used was a reading test that consists of 35 questions in the form of multiple choice tests. The obtained data were analyzed by using SPSS version 16.0 for Windows. The results of data showed that mean score in post test was higher than mean score in pre test (79.42> 67.33). Then, the data analysis also showed that tobs was higher than ttable (2.72<15.194>2.03) in sig. 5% and 1%. It means that the alternative hypothesis was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected. In other words, there is significant effect of Think Pair Share technique on reading comprehension in narrative texts of the second year students at SMAN 1 Kateman, INHIL Regency.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the increase in cogtive ability (science) through learning about colors based on use of the environment in children aged 4-5 years early chilhood kids Afifah Kampar District. This research using other research methodsclss action with the subject teacher and 15 childrens in the age group 4-5 years early childhood kids Afifah. The results of the data analysis of cognitive ability (scince) of children through learning about colors based on use of the environment shows that: The average increase of the pre-cycle to the first cycle of 28,44%, the average increase of cycle II cycle I of 42,91%, and the average increase of the pre-cycle of 83,55%. The shows that learningabouot colors based on the use of the enviorinment in improviong the cognitif abilities (scince)of children44-5 years in early chilhoo afifaf kids ups streamm up strem siak district, counteies experience a sinifikan increase.Keyword : cognitive abilities (science)

Abstract

Abstract: The research was motivated by the law level of moral intelligence in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru city, which is related to the child to parent secure attachment, where the child behaves poorly, the child does not want to sharing food with friends, and lack of encouragement from parents, and the presence of a child does not dare to admit his mistake was seen when the child hit his friend. The aims of this research is to know correlation between secure attachment with moral intelligence of children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru city. This type of research is quantitative a correlation research approach. As for the population of this research aged 5-6 years at TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru city that consist of 80 children, of this research sample as many as 44 children which taken by using Slovin formula.. The technique of collecting data used was a observation and questioner. The technique of analyzing data used Pearson Product Moment Correlation by using SPSS program for windows Ver. 22. The result of hypothesis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between secure attachment and moral intelligence of children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru city. It could be seen from the result of correlation coefficient that rxy= 0,561 and significant level is 0,000 < 0,05. The level of correlation between secure attachment and moral intelligence of children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru city is in the middle category with the rank of determinan coefficient in the amount 31,5%, it means that secure attachment affect moral intelligence as much as 31,5%.Key Words: Secure Attachment, Moral Inteliligence, Children

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the fact that science student learning outcomes appear to be low and there are still many students who have not reached the KKM. Of the 20 students only 10 students (50%), which reached the KKM. And 10 students (50%). This research is a classroom action research conducted in Class V SDN 026 Padang Mutung Kabupaten Kampar. Research instruments consisted of a Learning Tool used in this research is guided by the Education Unit Level Curriculum (SBC), known as Curriculum 2006 learning device consists of a syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets and observation sheet. The first meeting for the first cycle of activity the teachers with an average teacher activity was observed on the second cycle increased compared with the cycle I. At the first meeting I cycle average teacher activity 54% in the category enough, at the second meeting of the average activity teachers increased to 66% also in the category of Good. At the third meeting of the second cycle the average activity of 75% of teachers with good category and the fourth meeting with an average activity of 87% in the category of Very Good. The first meeting of the first cycle an average of 41% of student activity with enough categories, at the second meeting of the average activity increased to 66% in both categories. At the third meeting of the second cycle an average of 83% of student activity in the very good category and the fourth meeting increased compared with the previous meetings by an average of 91% of student activity with very good category. Student learning outcomes after initial data of students worth over KKM only 10 people (50%) after the first cycle an increase of up to 12 people (60%) after the second cycle to be increased up to 16 people (80%) Similarly, the average value average student classically obtained at baseline and after just 61.5 I cycle to increase by an average of 68 and in the second cycle to be increased to 73. Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study is the low student science learning outcomes, it is seen from the average value is 61.51 students. Of the 39 students who achieve grades above KKM (Minimum Criteria for completeness) is only 17 students (43.59%), while students who have not reached the KKM were 22 students 41%, KKM value specified is 65. based on these problems needs to be done to implement the action research approach of Science Technology Society (STM). This study aims to improve science learning outcomes graders VA SD Negeri 034 Tarai Bangun Academic Year 2013/2014 the number of students a total of 39 people. This research was carried out by three cycles. One Cycle consists of five meetings, in which four face to face meetings and one final cycle repetitions. With the implementation STM, it can improve students' science learning outcomes, it is seen from the percentage of completeness student learning outcomes on the basis that the score of 43.59% (average of 61.51) increased to 71.79% (average of 72.17) in the first cycle and the second cycle increased to 97.44% (average of 77.30), and the third cycle increased to 100% (average of 83.97). Percentage of teacher activity also increased, as seen from the percentage of all teachers in the first cycle 61.1% increase to 80.5% in the second cycle, and increased again in the third cycle is 95.8%. The percentage of student activity also increased from 50% in the first cycle increased to 69.4% in the second cycle and increased again to 93% in the third cycle. From the above it can be seen that the approach of Science Technology Society (STM), can improve learning outcomes IPA student VA SD Negeri 034 Tarai Bangun Kecamatan Tambang.Key words: Approach Science Technology Society (STM), Science Student Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study is a classroom action research that aims to improve learning outcomes competences class knowledge Va SDN 034 Kijang Rejo Tapung District of Kampar through the adoption of Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model. Based on observations in class Va SDN 034 Kijang Rejo is known that the learning competencies of knowledge on the subjects of Indonesian students on the theme of 2 Peristiwa dalam kehidupan subtema 2 Peristiwa-peristiwa penting are relatively low, with an average of 62.5. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis by looking at the activity of the teacher, student activity and learning outcomes of knowledge competency Indonesian theme 2 Peristiwa dalam Kehidupan of three sub-themes of Manusia dan Peristiwa Alam, theme 3 Kerukunan dalam Masyarakat subtema 1 Hidup Rukun and themes 3 Kerukunan dalam Masyarakat subtema 2 Manfaat Hidup Rukun. The average score was 62.5 basis while third cycle with an average of 77.34, bringing the total increase in learning outcomes competences Indonesian knowledge of 23.74%. Improved learning outcomes have occurred due to the increased activity of teachers and students. Results of observation of teacher activity in the first cycle of meeting 1 that is equal to 62.5%, while the third cycle of meeting 2 is 91.67%, bringing the total increase in the activity of teachers is 29.17%. The percentage of student learning activities in the first cycle of meeting 1 is 41.67%, while the third cycle was 87.5% 2 meeting, bringing the total increase amounted to 45.83% of student activity. From the results of a study it can be concluded that the adoption of Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model can Improve Learning Outcomes Knowledge Competence Indonesian Va Grade Students of SDN 034 Kijang Rejo Tapung District of Kampar regency.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Jigsaw, Knowledge Competence Learning Outcomes Indonesian

Abstract

Abstract: This study is aimed to investigate the effect of using Short Dialogue Memorization on the speaking ability of the second year students at SMP IT Al Ihsan Boarding School, Sik Hulu, Kampar. This study was pre-experimental research. The population of this research was the students in Hunain class at SMP IT Al Ihsan Boarding School. This research was conducted by applying Short Dialogue Memorization in teaching speaking to the pre-experimental group (Hunain Class) selected by employing cluster random sampling method. There were 20 students in pre-experimental group, who had a pre-test, then they were taught by using Short Dialogue Memorization, then they finally had a post-test to see the increase of their scores. After all data were collected, the researcher calculated them by using t-Test. This study formed findng with the correlation was 0.931, it can be concluded that there was a significant effect of using Short Dialogue Memorization on the speaking ability of the second year students at SMP IT Al Ihsan Boarding School that could be seen from the improvement of students’ scores in post-test.Keywords: Speaking, Speaking Ability, Short Dialogue Memorization

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is to find out the listening ability of the fourth semester students of English Study Program FKIP Universitas Riau in comprehending academic talks. The population of this research were all of the fourth semester students which consisted of 89 students. There were 48 students who participated in this study. The instrument was a test adapted from TOEFL Test (Listening Comprehension Part C). The test consisted of 8 academic talks and had 4 questions for each talk. Before the test was administered, the test was tried out to find out the difficulty level and the reliability of the test. To analyze the data, the mean score of the students was calculated and the level of ability was identified by using the classification of ability level by Harris (1974). The result showed that the ability of the fourth semester students of English Study Program FKIP Universitas Riau in comprehending academic talks was at Good level with mean score 61.2. Therefore, it can be concluded that most of the students were able to comprehend talks related to academic situations. However, the students are suggested to practice listening to various aural inputs especially academic talks to improve the ability in listening due to the poorness of their listening ability.Key Words: Listening Ability, Listening Comprehension, Academic Talks

Abstract

Abstract: This study is based on the low learning outcomes of science students of class V in SDN 019 Sekeladi Tanah Putih Academic Year 2016/2017. Preliminary data received by the researchers, from 28 students who reached the value of KKM only 5 students (20.83%) with an average of 54.37. This research is a classroom action research conducted collaboratively and participatively in collaboration with science teacher class V in SD Negeri 019 Sekeladi Tanah Putih. The instrument of this study consists of learning devices used in this study based on Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP). Learning tools consist of syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets and observation sheets. The result of the research showed that teacher activity in the first cycle of meeting I was 58,33% with enough category, second meeting of cycle I was 75% with good category. At the second meeting I meeting is 83,33% with very good category and second meeting second cycle is 95,83% with very good category. Then the percentage of first cycle activity of the first student is 54,17% with enough category, at the second meeting of cycle I that is 70,833% with good category. In the second cycle of meeting I is 87.5% with very good category, and meeting II is 91.67% with very good category. The students' learning outcomes are complete before the action is held only 5 students (20.83%) with an average value of 54.37. In the daily test I cycle I the number of completed students increased to 11 students or (45.83%) with an average score of 66.04. Furthermore, in the second cycle II repetition increased again with a total number of students who completed 22 students or (91.67%) with an average score of 83.33. The increase in student learning outcomes between the baseline score of one cycle with an average of 21.45% and between the basic score of the second cycle with an average of 53.26%. This means that the classical value obtained by students has above KKM has been determined.Keywords: Inquiry Learning Model, Learning Outcomes IPA

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine how much the effect of scholarship effectiveness to the academic achievement of students of Economic Education Studies Program FKIP University of Riau. The population in this study are students of Economics Education 2014 until 2016 is 104 participant, and the sample of 83 people. Measurement of data using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis used is simple linear regression. The results showed the effectiveness of scholarship has a significant effect on the academic achievement of students of Economic Education Studies Program FKIP University of Riau. This can be seen from the regression coefficient, ie the value of constanta (a) of 2.705 and the value of regression coefficient (b) of 0.011. Judging from the calculation of R2 (R Square) obtained value of 0.275. The meaning is that the contribution of scholarship effectiveness influence to the academic achievement of 27.5% and the rest influenced by other factors.Keywords : Effectiveness, Scholarship, Academic Achievement
