Abstract

Establishing authorized partners for telecommunication providers puts human resource management at odds, as their inherent externalities require further effort to manage. This study delves into this complex management by focusing on the mediating role of organizational commitment in job performance, with organizational culture and motivation as the predictors. The sample (N: 157) is drawn from the authorized partners of the largest telecommunication company in Indonesia, for the analysis employing the partial-least-square structural-equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings show a moderate acceptance of the proposed research model, as indicated by the R2 revelation. The study reveals that organizational commitment can mediate the effects of organizational culture and motivation on the performance of authorized partners. This underscores the importance of organizations having sufficient control over their external distributors by enhancing the positive culture experience and motivational factors in extensive training and engagement settings, thereby providing valuable insights for human resource management.

Abstract

Systematic literature review focusing on innovation variables as moderating and mediating exogenous variables on MSMEs performance is relatively rare. This study aimed to determine factors affecting MSMEs performance mediated or moderated by innovation variables. The article search used the Google Scholar database. Of 500 articles, 320 were excluded based on title and abstract and 180 were screened for eligibility, resulting in 35 articles for review. The study found that innovation mediated 30 exogenous variables on MSMEs performance. There were 15 innovation variables; Innovation and Innovation Capability were the most used by researchers. Additionally, innovation variables such as Product Innovation, Innovation Culture, Innovation, Process Innovation, and Innovation Capability moderated about six exogenous variables on MSMEs performance. Innovation research with moderating models was still relatively small compared to mediation models.

Abstract

This study addresses the critical challenge of fostering innovative work behavior in start-ups, where agility and adaptability are essential to thriving in dynamic markets. Existing literature suggests that while organizational culture can influence employee innovation, the role of creative leadership as a mediator remains underexplored, particularly within start-ups. This research examines how an innovation-supportive organizational culture influences creative leadership and innovative work behavior, focusing on Jakarta-based start-ups. A quantitative research approach was employed, using structured questionnaires from 219 individuals, and the statistical analysis of Partial-Least-Squares Structural-Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Findings reveal that a supportive organizational culture significantly enhances both creative leadership and innovative work behavior, while creative leadership partially mediates the relationship, translating cultural values into innovation. Despite limitations, including the focus on Jakarta and reliance on self-reported data, these findings lay a foundation for future research on innovation within start-ups.

Abstract

This study explores the unique role of Sharia compliance in shaping user behavior toward digital payment systems, focusing on the Islamic digital-payment platform. It aims to examine how perceived convenience, and perceived risk influence attitudes and interests in adopting Sharia-compliant digital payments. Using a quantitative approach, the research targets the users of LinkAja Sharia, Indonesia, employing purposive judgment sampling resulting in 150 response rates. Data were analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (PLS- SEM). The findings indicate that perceived convenience and perceived risk significantly and positively affect both attitudes and interest. Moreover, attitudes mediate the relationship between these perceptions and interest. The study underscores how aligning financial technology with Islamic principles adds trust and appeal, offering valuable insights for developers aiming to integrate ethical and religious values into fintech innovations for Muslim markets, and global endeavors.

Abstract

The strategic achievement of firms, even especially hotel industry is monopolized by the quantitative measures in financial reports. This study advances the neglected conversation of strategic profitability by the perspective hotel managers in recorded responses. They fill the questionnaires regarding the service-based resources, the strategic entrepreneurship capacity in established business, and finally the strategic profitability. 329 managers provide responses by the 5-point Likert scale, and the data serves as the basis for partial-least-square structural-equation modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate the acceptance of all relationships as service-based resources are critical to build the strategic entrepreneurship, and measurable performance. The mediation test is also supported. This study establishes the critical importance of building a specific strategic measure for service firms, with which policy is catered.

Abstract

Tourism, especially in Ujung Kulon National Park, holds great potential as a leading tourist destination; however, it is hindered by inadequate infrastructure and suboptimal marketing strategies, as well as a decline in tourist confidence due to the tsunami event in 2018. The purpose of this quantitative research is to analyze the influence of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), facilities, digital marketing, and trust on the competitive advantage of tourism in Ujung Kulon. Hypothesis testing using SEM PLS with bootstrapping is employed to analyze the impact of these variables. The research results indicate that GCG does not have a significant effect on competitive advantage, while digital marketing and facilities have a positive impact. Trust, although important, does not moderate the relationship between GCG, digital marketing, or facilities with competitive advantage. This research suggests focusing on the development of infrastructure and digital marketing to enhance the competitiveness of the Ujung Kulon tourism destination.

Abstract

The increasing demand and lifestyle changes have made shopping centers a primary destination for leisure, driving a surge in visits and compelling tenants to adapt continuously to these changes. However, tenant supervisors vary in their capacity to manage their businesses effectively amid this influx. This study explores how cognitive style, global mindset, and self-control predict organizational capacity in managing businesses in response to current trends. Using an exploratory quantitative design, the PLS-SEM procedure was employed to analyze data collected from 180 tenant leaders at the largest shopping center in Makassar, Indonesia. The findings confirm the significance of all proposed hypotheses, except for the influence of cognitive style on organizational capacity. This research highlights that tenant leaders must develop a strong understanding of global issues and exhibit self-restraint, particularly through an internal locus of control, to navigate ongoing changes effectively.
