Abstract

Education is currently expected to be able to produce human resources who have strong communication and collaboration skills, are experts in the use of technology, think creatively and innovatively, and are able to solve all the problems faced in life. One of the things that schools and madrasas must achieve in today's 21st-century education is skills. This study aims to analyze the need for socio-cultural literacy assessment by utilizing social care content and local cultural participation. The results of this needs analysis will be used as a basis for developing socio-cultural literacy instruments in learning aqidah morals. This type of research is descriptive research. Respondents in this study were 80 students of class VIII MTs Yapila Langsa. Data collection was carried out in November 2022. The data collection method used was a questionnaire, which included a questionnaire analyzing the needs of socio-cultural literacy in learning aqidah morals. The needs analysis questionnaire is in the form of an open questionnaire using social care content text and local cultural participation. The data obtained from the questionnaire were then analyzed descriptively. Needs analysis is based on domain analysis. The indicators and aspects that are used as benchmarks for obtaining this needs analysis data are, (1) intellectual skills (2) social sensitivity, ability to control oneself (3) cooperative skills (4) attitudes and social values and (5) ability participate in the local cultural environment.

Abstract

This research aimed to specify the influence of physical bullying behavior on the motivation and learning outcomes of elementary school students in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The approach used was a quantitative method with ex post facto. The samples were 100 students of SD Negeri 53 Banda Aceh. Data collection was conducted by using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The technique of data analysis was conducted by a t-test. The results of the data analysis of physical bullying behavior on learning motivation obtained at the value of 2.834 and table of 2,04841, so that t count > t table and judging from the level of significance, the variable physical bullying behavior had a value of 0.008 < 0.05, while the results Data analysis of physical bullying behavior on student learning outcomes obtained t-count value of 11.212 and t-table of 2.04841, so that t-count > t-table and seen from the level of significance, the variable value of physical bullying behavior was 0.000 <0.05. Based on the data obtained, the results of this study concluded it can be concluded that physical bullying behavior affects the motivation and learning outcomes of SD Negeri 53 Banda Aceh students.

Abstract

Abstract: Marriage readiness is a crucial aspect in shaping the foundation of marital life. This research aims to analyze students' understanding of the concept of marriage readiness, taking into consideration the background issues involving changes in social values, academic pressure, influence of social environment, and the impact of mass media. The research is conducted qualitatively using in-depth interviews and content analysis of students' responses regarding marriage readiness. Samples are purposively selected, involving students from various backgrounds and experiences. The study aims to comprehend the factors influencing students' understanding of marriage readiness and explore their perspectives on values, academic pressure, social environment, and mass media in the context of marriage. The findings indicate that changes in social values, academic pressure, influence of social environment, and mass media significantly affect students' understanding of marriage readiness. The implications of these findings can be utilized as a basis for designing relevant educational programs and psychosocial support for students, enabling them to understand and face marriage with mature preparation. This research contributes to a profound understanding of the factors influencing students' views on marriage in the contemporary era.Abstrak: Kesiapan pernikahan menjadi aspek krusial dalam membentuk fondasi kehidupan berumah tangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap konsep kesiapan pernikahan, dengan memperhatikan latar belakang masalah yang melibatkan perubahan nilai sosial, tekanan akademis, pengaruh lingkungan sosial, dan dampak media massa. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan analisis konten terhadap tanggapan mahasiswa terkait kesiapan pernikahan. Sampel dipilih secara purposive, melibatkan mahasiswa dari berbagai latar belakang dan pengalaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap kesiapan pernikahan dan mengeksplorasi perspektif mereka terkait nilai-nilai, tekanan akademis, lingkungan sosial, dan media massa dalam konteks pernikahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perubahan nilai sosial, akademis, pengaruh lingkungan sosial, dan media massa secara signifikan memengaruhi pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap kesiapan pernikahan. Implikasi dari temuan ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk merancang program pendidikan yang relevan dan dukungan psikososial bagi mahasiswa, sehingga mereka dapat memahami dan menghadapi pernikahan dengan persiapan yang matang. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman mendalam tentang faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pandangan mahasiswa terhadap pernikahan di era kontemporer.

Abstract

Abstract: The condition of many street children is that they do not go to school or have dropped out of school. This happened because several basic needs have not been met, which makes them have low motivation to study. Therefore, the Save Street Child (SSC) Surabaya community, as a community that cares for street children, is here to act as a companion to street children and help increase their motivation to learn. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research stages carried out were assessment through observation and interviews then analysis, data reduction and drawing conclusions. In increasing the learning motivation of street children in the SSC community, the role played is through a program of activities that suit the needs experienced by street children. The results of the research show that street children have very low motivation to learn, due to environmental factors that not everyone accepts their existence.Keywords: Save Street Child Community; Street Children; Learning Motivation.Abstrak: Kondisi anak jalanan banyak yang tidak bersekolah atau putus sekolah, hal demikian terjadi karena beberapa faktor kebutuhan dasar yang belum terpenuhi sehingga membuat mereka memiliki motivasi bekajar yang rendah. Oleh karena itu komunitas Save Street Child (SSC) Surabaya sebagai komunitas peduli anak jalanan hadir berperan sebagai pendamping anak jalanan dan membantu dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu dengan asesmen melalui observasi dan wawancara kemudian menganalisis, mereduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak jalanan komunitas SSC maka peran yang dilakukan adalah melalui program kegiatan-kegiatan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang dialami anak jalanan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak jalanan memiliki motivasi yang sangat rendah dalam belajar, dikarenakan faktor lingkungan yang tidak semua menerima keberadaan mereka.Kata Kunci: Komunitas Save Street Child; Anak Jalanan; Motivasi Belajar.

Abstract

Abstract: The counseling process in school environments is vulnerable to cultural bias challenges that can impede its effectiveness. A multicultural or cross-cultural counseling approach is crucial for understanding counselees from diverse backgrounds. This study aims to explore the level of cultural understanding and awareness among Guidance and Counseling Teachers towards multicultural counseling in schools, as well as their ability to form effective relationships with students from various cultural backgrounds. Utilizing the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this research examines 47 relevant journal articles from Google Scholar published within the last 5 to 10 years, yielding five key articles that underscore the importance of cultural awareness and competence development to enhance counseling effectiveness. The findings reveal significant variations in cultural awareness among guidance counselors, identifying an urgent need for skill development and intervention strategies to address challenges such as counselor encapsulation and cross-cultural communication barriers. Initiatives such as the development of service models, training modules, and competence enhancement programs have proven effective in strengthening cultural awareness and counseling capabilities. In conclusion, a deep understanding of cultural awareness and multicultural competencies is not only essential for effective interaction between counselors and students but also crucial in advancing inclusive education that embraces cultural diversity. Abstrak: Proses konseling di lingkungan sekolah rentan terhadap tantangan bias budaya yang dapat menghambat efektivitasnya. Pendekatan konseling multikultural atau lintas budaya penting untuk memahami konseli dari berbagai latar belakang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi tingkat pemahaman dan kesadaran budaya Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling terhadap konseling multikultural di sekolah, serta kemampuan mereka membentuk hubungan efektif dengan siswa dari latar belakang budaya yang beragam. Menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR), penelitian ini menelaah 47 artikel jurnal relevan dari Google Scholar yang diterbitkan dalam rentang waktu 5 sampai 10 tahun terakhir, menghasilkan lima artikel kunci yang menegaskan pentingnya kesadaran budaya dan pengembangan kompetensi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas konseling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya variasi signifikan dalam tingkat kesadaran budaya di antara guru BK, mengidentifikasi kebutuhan mendesak untuk pengembangan keterampilan dan strategi intervensi yang dapat mengatasi tantangan seperti enkapsulasi konselor dan hambatan komunikasi lintas budaya. Inisiatif seperti pengembangan model layanan, modul pelatihan, dan program peningkatan kompetensi terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat kesadaran budaya dan kemampuan konseling. Kesimpulannya, pemahaman mendalam tentang kesadaran budaya dan kompetensi multikultural tidak hanya esensial untuk interaksi efektif antara konselor dan siswa tetapi juga krusial dalam memajukan pendidikan inklusif yang merangkul keragaman budaya.

Abstract

Abstract: Instrument and media in guidance and counseling services aretools used in helping a counselor or psychiatrist in resolving the problems faced by the students or individuals, until the students’ problem or individuals can be resolved soon. Nowadays, the implementation of guidance and counseling servicescan be said that it has run in various level of education, such as: kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school. Although we can say that it has run, however the implementation has not been maximal yet. Because the implementation of guidance and counseling serviceshave not been maximal yet, the researcher was interested in discussing about the use of instrument and media in guidance and counseling services, including the instruments used are based on analysis of data and the needs of the students.Keywords: Instrumentand media, Guidance and Counseling Service.Abstrak: Instrumen dan media dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling adalah alat yang digunakan dalam membantu seorang konselor atau psikiater dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh siswa atau individu, sehingga permasalahan siswa atau individu tersebut dapat segera terselesaikan. Saat ini penyelenggaraan layanan bimbingan dan konseling dapat dikatakan sudah berjalan di berbagai jenjang pendidikan, seperti: Taman Kanak-Kanak, Sekolah Dasar, Sekolah Menengah Pertama, dan Sekolah Menengah Atas. Meski bisa dikatakan sudah berjalan, namun implementasinya masih belum maksimal. Karena pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan dan konseling belum maksimal, maka peneliti tertarik untuk membahas tentang penggunaan instrumen dan media dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling, termasuk instrumen yang digunakan berdasarkan analisis data dan kebutuhan siswa.Kata Kunci: Instrumen dan Media, Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling.

Abstract: This research aims to provide information about the values of Self Acceptend contained in the book entitled "What's So Wrong Abour Your Self Healing" by Ardhi Mohammad. Self Acceptend or self-acceptance is an attitude where individuals are able to accept and know all their shortcomings and strengths and not demean themselves. The method used in this research is qualitative with the type of literature study research. In this book there are components in self-acceptance that are associated with the theory of Bastaman. The result of this research is that in this book there is a value that determines that a person can accept himself and can be applied in an individual's life, the aspects are Self Insight, Changing Attitude, Self Commitment, Directed Activities, Social Support.Keywords: Self Acceptend; Self-Potential; Self-Undersrtanding; Book Analysis.Abstrak: Penetitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai nilai-nilai Self Acceptend yang terkandung dalam buku berjudul “What’s So Wrong Abour Your Self Healing” karya Ardhi Mohammad. Dalam buku ini terdapat komponen-komponen dalam penerimaan diri yang dikaitkan dengan teori dari Bastaman. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa dalam buku ini terdapat nilai yang menjadi penentu bahwa seorang sudah dapat menerima dirinya dan bisa diterapkan dalam hidup seorang individu, aspeknya adalah Pemahaman Diri (Self Insight), Pengubahan Sikap (Changing Attitude), Keikatan Diri (Self Commitment), Kegiatan Terarah (Directed Activities), dukungan Sosial (Social Support).

Abstract

Abstract: In the province of Aceh, gender equality is still not fully understood by the community, and many face limitations in comprehending the concept. In the implementation of counseling in schools where Islamic law must be adhered to, alongside the demand for guidance and counseling teachers to understand gender equality, it becomes a challenge for them, especially in higher-level schools.The purpose of this research is to gain a deep understanding of how guidance and counseling teachers perceive and face challenges related to gender when providing counseling services under Islamic Sharia Law (Qanun). Additionally, it seeks to uncover the efforts made by these teachers to enhance their own understanding and that of their students regarding gender. This study employed a qualitative descriptive research design with a sample size of four individuals from four different schools, selected purposively through interview techniques. The research findings indicate that guidance and counseling teachers' understanding of gender in school counseling services is influenced by Qanun Islamic Law. There is a variety of perspectives regarding gender differences in Islam, the roles of gender in society, and conservative views on leadership. However, within the school context, gender equality in leadership and students' rights are upheld. In counseling practice, teachers share similar concepts, emphasizing the importance of location and ethical considerations when dealing with adult male students. Challenges include discomfort in addressing the needs of adult male students that require physical contact while adhering to the Islamic prohibition of being alone with unrelated individuals (khalwat). These challenges can be overcome with time. Notably, Qanun Sharia Law does not impose specific limitations on gender in the context of children. Guidance and counseling teachers provide children with the space to resolve their own issues, in accordance with counseling principles in Islam. To improve their understanding of gender based on Qanun Sharia Law, guidance and counseling teachers seek additional information and references that are relevant to the Islamic legal framework.Keywords: Gender; Guidance and Counseling; Qanun Islamic Law.Abstrak: Di Provinsi Aceh, kesetaraan gender masih belum sepenuhnya dipahami oleh masyarakat, dan banyak yang menghadapi keterbatasan dalam memahami konsep tersebut. Dalam penerapan konseling di sekolah dimana syariat Islam harus dijalankan disamping guru BK dituntut untuk memahami kesetaraan gender menjadi tantangan sendiri bagi mereka khususnya di sekolah tingkat atas. tujuan penlitian ini adalah untuk mencari tau secara mendalam seperti apa pemahaman dan kendala para guru bimbingan dan konseling terhadap gender dalam memeri layanan konseling dibawah qanun syariat Islam. Disamping itu juga untuk mencari tau apa saja usaha yang dilakukan oleh para guru bimbingan dan konseling untuk meningkatakan pemahaman mereka dan para siswa mengenai gender. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 4 orang dari 4 sekolah yang berbeda yang diambil secara purposive sampling, data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik wawancara secara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemahaman guru Bimbingan dan Konseling tentang gender dalam layanan konseling sekolah berdasarkan Qanun Syariat Islam. Terdapat variasi pemahaman mengenai perbedaan gender dalam Islam, peran gender dalam masyarakat, dan pandangan konservatif tentang pemimpinan. Namun, di sekolah, kesetaraan gender dalam kepemimpinan dan hak-hak siswa dijunjung. Dalam praktik konseling, guru memiliki konsep serupa, memperhatikan lokasi dan etika saat berhadapan dengan siswa laki-laki dewasa. Kendala-kendala termasuk ketidaknyamanan dalam menangani siswa laki-laki dewasa yan memerlukan sentuhan fisik, namun harus mematuhi larangan berkhalwat dalam Islam. Kendala ini dapat diatasi seiring berjalannya waktu. Qanun Syariat Islam tidak memiliki batasan khusus mengenai gender anak-anak, dengan guru memberi anak-anak ruang untuk menyelesaikan masalah mereka sendiri, sesuai prinsip konseling dalam Islam. Untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang gender berdasarkan Qanun Syariat Islam, guru Bimbingan dan Konseling mencari informasi tambahan dan referensi sesuai konteks syariat Islam.  Kata Kunci: Gender; Bimbingan dan Konseling; Qanun Syariat Islam

Abstract

Abstract: This Study aims to describe therapy efforts at the Permata Aceh Mulia Foundation (YPAM) in guiding Special Needs Children. This study is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects are a school principal, two teachers/therapists, and two parents/guardians. The results of the research focus on five main indicators: initial observation, individual learning/handling planning, implementation of individual learning/handling plans, activity implementation monitoring, and final evaluation. Based on the research results, initial observations involving parents and teachers help plan interventions. Teachers develop individual learning plans, involving parents, and implement holistic strategies. The implementation of plans focuses on preparation, training, and ongoing evaluation, with teachers/therapists utilizing technology. Monitoring involves teacher-parent cooperation, logbooks, principal observations, and therapy videos. Final evaluation involves aspects of child development, teacher performance, and parental participation, reflecting positively on the school's reputation. These findings depict a comprehensive approach to supporting SNC in YPAM Early Childhood Education. This research has practical implications in the development of inclusive strategies for special needs children. Conceptually, these findings reinforce the importance of initial observation, individual learning planning, and continuous monitoring.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan upaya terapi di Yayasan Permata Aceh Mulia (YPAM) dalam membimbing Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah seorang kepala sekolah, dua orang guru/terapis dan dua orang wali murid. Hasil penelitian fokus pada lima indikator utama: observasi awal, perencanaan pembelajaran/penanganan individu, pelaksanaan rencana pembelajaran/penanganan individu, monitoring pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi akhir berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan Observasi awal melibatkan orangtua dan guru, membantu merencanakan intervensi. Guru menyusun rencana pembelajaran individu, melibatkan orang tua, dan menerapkan strategi holistik. Pelaksanaan rencana terfokus pada persiapan, pelatihan, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan, dengan guru/terapis melibatkan teknologi. Monitoring melibatkan kerjasama guru-orang tua, buku laporan, observasi kepala sekolah, dan video terapi. Evaluasi akhir melibatkan aspek perkembangan anak, kinerja guru, dan partisipasi orang tua, mencerminkan dampak positif pada reputasi sekolah. Temuan ini menggambarkan pendekatan komprehensif untuk mendukung ABK di PAUD YPAM. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi praktis dalam pengembangan strategi inklusif untuk anak berkebutuhan khusus. Secara konseptual, temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya observasi awal, perencanaan pembelajaran individual, dan monitoring terus-menerus.

Abstract

Abstract: The ability to remember is an important thing in the teaching and learning process, because remembering becomes a method to store all information. Elementary school students in fact have the ability to remember which is still sharp compared to adults. Therefore, the memory should be trained and developed by memorizing short chapters in the Qur'an. But another problem arises, when memory disease appears (forgetting). So here it is very necessary to have the role of teachers and parents as a companion for children in memorizing short chapters in the Qur'an. This study aims to analyze the ability to remember the memorization of juz 'amma in elementary school students based on the Atkinson-Shiffrin information storage theory review. This research method uses a qualitative approach, data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation and data triangulation, analysis techniques by reducing, displaying, and concluding data. While data validity techniques with credibility test, transferability test, depenability test, and confirmability test. The results of the study state that the ability to remember the memorization of juz 'amma of SD Negeri 01 Tebat Karai students is quite good, this can be seen when students deposit memorization to their teachers, and the reading is almost perfect according to the law of tajweed. Thus, based on the theory of information storage, it can be stated that the process of remembering the memorization of juz 'amma students has reached the stage of storing information in long-term memory.Keywords: Juz 'Amma Memorization; Recall Ability;  Elementary School; Information Storage Theory.Abstrak: Kemampuan mengingat merupakan suatu hal yang penting dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran, karena mengingat menjadi metode untuk menyimpan semua informasi. Siswa sekolah dasar notabenenya memiliki kemampuan mengingat yang masih tajam dibandingkan orang dewasa. Oleh karena itu, hendaklah ingatan itu dilatih dan dikembangkan dengan cara menghafal surah-surah pendek dalam Al-Qur’an. Namun permasalahan lain muncul, tatkala penyakit ingatan muncul (lupa). Maka disini sangat perlu adanya peran guru serta orang tua sebagai pendamping anak-anak dalam menghafal surah-surah pendek dalam Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan mengingat hafalan juz ‘amma pada siswa sekolah dasar berdasarkan tinjauan teori penyimpanan informasi Atkinson-Shiffrin. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi serta triangulasi data, teknik analisis dengan cara mereduksi, mendisplay, dan menyimpulkan data. Sedangkan teknik keabsahan data dengan uji credibility, uji transferability, uji depenability, dan uji konfirmability. Adapun hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kemampuan mengingat hafalan juz ‘amma siswa SD Negeri 01 Tebat Karai sudah cukup baik, hal ini terlihat pada saat peserta didik menyetorkan hafalan kepada gurunya, dan bacaannya hampir sempurna sesuai hukum tajwid. Dengan demikian berdasarkan teori penyimpanan informasi, dapat dinyatakan bahwa proses mengingat hafalan juz ‘amma peserta didik telah mencapai tahap penyimpanan informasi pada memori jangka panjang.Kata Kunci: Hafalan Juz ‘Amma; Kemampuan Mengingat; Sekolah Dasar; Teori Penyimpanan Informasi.
