Abstract

outcomes. Comic media can be used in a two-way learning process, namely as a teaching aid and learning media that can be used by students themselves. The results of initial observations show that there is still limited media used in the learning process at MIN MIN 7 Banda Aceh, especially classes in class V. The objectives of this research are 1) To determine the process of developing Islamic Comics media to improve the learning outcomes of class V students at MIN 7 Banda Aceh, 2) To determine the feasibility of the Islamic Comic media being developed to improve the learning outcomes of class V students at MIN 7 Banda Aceh. The research method used is research and development (R&D) and uses the Borg and Gall theory through 7 stages. Data collection was carried out through a validation process and product testing. The result of this research was that the development of Islamic comic media was said to be suitable for use. This is based on the assessment that comic media as a whole has been declared feasible with a percentage result of 92.69% and can improve student learning outcomes at MIN 7 Banda Aceh based on the product test analysis obtained, namely tcount = while ttable = 1.711. So it can be concluded that tcount > ttable, which means H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This shows that students' final abilities are better than before using Islamic comic learning media.

Abstract

Based on data obtained from the Programe for International Student Assessment (PISA) in 2022 regarding the decline in the quality of education in Indonesia, which is reviewed from literacy, numeracy, and science competencies. In line with that, MI Manba'ul Huda has a goal in improving the quality of education through student management. Challenges and risks in making it happen are always there. Therefore, it is important for him to implement risk management in the institution. To conduct a risk management analysis on student management at MI Manba'ul Huda, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive method. Furthermore, the data obtained was through interviews with school principals, several educators, and education staff, in addition to which the researcher made direct observations at the school. The result of this study is that MI Manba'ul Huda has a strategy and mitigation in its efforts to overcome risks. As for other situations, these schools can accept the risks that occur to avoid greater risks.Keywords: Risk Management, Students, Quality of Education.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memahami perkembangan kreativitas dan perkembangan perilaku personal pada anak SD. Penelitian menggunakan studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan mengumpulkan berbagai buku dan artikel jurnal yang relevan dengan pembahasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan kreativitas peserta didik SD merupakan kemampuan anak berkreasi untuk mewujudkan dirinya, mudah menunjukan apa yang dia inginkan, dia sukai dan dia gemari; anak akan memiliki kemampuan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi dengan caranya sendiri; anak dilatih untuk berpikir logis, kritis, bernalar dan penerimaan pengetahuannya. Kreativitas anak dapat dikembangkan melalui guru dan orang tua yang saling berkoordinasi. Guru dapat memberikan rangsangan dalam pembelajaran yang dapat memicu munculnya kreativitas. Ciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang kondusif seperti penggunaan model pembelajaran, penggunaan media, atau pun sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung pengembangan kreativitas anak, menumbuhkan motivasi pada anak. Selain itu, guru dapat mengevaluasi perkembangan anak di sekolah untuk mengetahui minat dan bakatnya. Perilaku personal merupakan hasil interaksi antara seseorang dengan lingkungannya. Pengalaman yang menyenangkan akan menimbulkan perilaku positif dan sebaliknya. Perilaku personal anak SD terbentuk karena adanya rangsangan secara internal maupun eksternal yang diproses melalui kognitif, afektif,dan psikomotorik. Pembentukan terjadi akibat dari kebutuhan dalam diri anak SD.

Abstract

Classroom management ensures optimal teaching and learning processes, especially in thematic learning. Teachers often face challenges requiring specific coping strategies, particularly because students are still young. This study describes the strategies and challenges teachers face in classroom management during thematic learning at an Islamic Elementary School in Banda Aceh. The researchers used observation sheets and interview lists to guide this qualitative research. The findings revealed that the classroom management strategies employed by second-grade teachers at the school include weekly reorganization of student seating arrangements, engaging students through question-and-answer sessions and games, classroom administration by designing lesson plans (RPP), taking attendance, providing a reading corner, ensuring availability of trash bins, keeping student personality notes, and implementing rewards and punishments. The challenges teachers face in managing the classroom during thematic learning include internal factors such as student motivation and psychological conditions and external factors such as the teacher's proficiency in designing lesson plans that integrate available learning media and facilities.Keywords: Strategy,  Challenge, Classroom management, Thematic learning

Abstract

This research discussed the importance of teacher creativity in shaping children's character through socio-emotional learning at the Elementary School / Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level. This research aimed to emphasize teachers' role in helping develop children's social and emotional skills through collaborative learning and moral teaching in schools. The research location was at MI Nurul Ulum Bantul Yogyakarta. This research used a qualitative approach with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The research results showed that teacher creativity in forming children's character through socio-emotional learning at MI Nurul Ulum was 1) generating motivation to learn with technology, 2) making the material relevant to everyday life, 3) presenting an interesting impression when learning, 4) making teachers as a role model for children, 5) creating a communicative learning atmosphere, and 6) understanding children's moods when learning.

Abstract

The low level of student motivation in studying the water cycle has resulted in reduced instructional effectiveness. This factor is attributed to the limited utilization of technology by teachers to enhance the appeal of the learning process, with teachers predominantly relying on textbooks as the primary instructional resource. The research aims to evaluate the validity and practicality of animated video media as a supplementary tool for understanding the subject matter and fostering learning motivation, specifically concerning the water cycle topic for 5th- grade elementary school students. Data were obtained through the ADDIE model phases (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research findings indicated that the material presented in the instructional videos exhibits a remarkably high level of suitability for delivery to students, with an average validation percentage of 100% by subject matter expert and 95,14% by media expert. Additionally, an evaluation of the practicality of this media revealed an average percentage of 89% from student feedback and 100% from teacher assessment. Consequently, it can be inferred that this animated video product is both valid and practical for utilization within the realm of educational instruction.Keywords: learning media, animated video, water cycle.

Abstract

AbstractTests are methods or procedures used in educational measurement and assessment. Tests involve giving tasks or a series of tasks to test takers, either in the form of questions that must be answered or commands that must be carried out, to produce a score that reflects the test taker's behavior or achievements. Question item analysis is an activity to evaluate each item or question item to assess its quality. Item analysis is the process of reviewing questions in a test with the aim of obtaining a set of quality questions. Therefore, analysis is needed regarding the quality of the questions, both in terms of level of difficulty, discrimination and distracting power. The research used to analyze the question items used a quantitative descriptive research design. Type of quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were fourth grade students at SDN Kaliwining 07 Rambipuji Jember. The research sample consisted of 21 students in one class, with the class IV Islamic Religious Education subject as the research object. The instruments used in this research include end-of-semester exam question sheets, answer keys, and student answer sheets which are used as data for analysis. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation and documentation. Quantitative data analysis in this research was carried out using a computer application called Iteman, which is special software for analyzing test items. The results of this analysis show that the level of difficulty of the question items shows that each question item has a good level of difficulty. This can be seen from the question items which have a difficulty value or P value between 0.3-0.7, which is the level of difficulty stated. good if it has a vulnerability of 0.2-0.8. So that the questions analyzed based on students' answers have a good level of difficulty. Meanwhile, the different power results of the questions get several different results, from bad, average, and good. This is shown by the Rpbis results A. 0.496, B. 0.023, C. -0.166, and D. -0.166. So some of the differentiating powers contained in the question items are not yet able to distinguish between students who differentiate between the abilities of students who have mastered and who have not mastered the competencies achieved. Therefore, improvements are needed from the school or educators. The distracting power, which obtained good and very good criteria, can be seen from the results of prop A. 0.095, B. 0.382, C. 0.429, D. 0.095. which are classified as good and very good criteria, so that each question item is chosen in the same proportion by students.

Abstract

In the era of Industrial Revolution 5.0, it is important to understand how social studies learning can build global awareness in students. This article explores the challenges and opportunities in implementing social studies learning in this changing era. Key challenges include technology integration, cultural diversity and understanding complex global issues. However, there are significant opportunities in the use of technology, project-based learning and the development of 21st century skills in social studies learning. The purpose of this study is to investigate how practical approaches in social studies learning can help build global awareness in students in the era of Industrial Revolution 5.0. The results showed that the integration of technology, project-based approach, and 21st century skills development significantly improved the effectiveness of social studies learning in building global awareness. The practical implementation of these strategies opens up opportunities to prepare students to be adaptive global citizens, responsive to change, and contribute to the development of a more sustainable world. Abstract

Salah satu cara meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran adalah dengan memberikan unsur ransangan agar mahasiswa termotivasi dalam belajar, salah satunya melalui sistem evaluasi yang lebih inovatif dan kreatif yang dapat merangsang pola pikir kritis. Kahoot adalah website di internet yang mengahadirkan suasana kuis edukatif yang meriah dan heboh di dalam kelas, berbasis platform pembelajaran sebagai teknologi pendidikan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Pre-Ekperimental Design dengan model One-Shot Case Study. Instrument pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah soal tes yang dibagikan dengan menggunakan aplikasi kahoot. Data dianalisis untuk penentuan efektifitas dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui median hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Baca Tulis Al-Qur’an adalah 80. Rentang nilai berada pada 40-100. Sedangkan rata-rata persentase keefektifan aplikasi kahoot sebagai alat evaluasi ditinjau dari hasil belajar adalah sebesar 80, 3% dan berada pada kategori sangat efektif. Secara keseluruhan penggunaan aplikasi kahoot sebagai alat evaluasi secara efektif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

Abstract The research was motivated by the results of the writing skills at SDN Solok Regency are still low, found from 27 students as many as 8 students with a percentage of 29.63% reached the KKM and as many as 19 students with a percentage of 70.37% did not reach the KKM. This low skill is caused by educators not providing enough writing training, especially writing narrative essays. The purpose of this study was to improve students' narrative essay writing skills. This research is a field research with the type of research Pre-Experimental Design form One-Group Pretest-Posttest. The data collection techniques and instruments used were tests, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the post-test score was greater than the pre-test score (79 > 49), obtained t_hitung 26.446 > t_table 2.0555 and Sig. 0.001 < 0.05. This shows that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. It can be concluded that by applying the Concept Sentence type cooperative learning model with the help of serial images can improve the narrative essay writing skills of fourth grade students of SDN Solok Regency.Keywords: Concept Sentence Model, Narrative Writing
