Abstract

Harmful substances deposited in the soil can disrupt soil functions, leading to environmental pollution and harm. Pesticides are one example of these harmful substances. Absorption of pesticides into the soil can lead to infertility and negatively impact overall soil health. Therefore, a study was conducted to identify pesticide-saturated soil near the surface and map the soil health conditions around Situ Cisanti. The research utilized geoelectric methods and collected soil and water samples from the inlet (a) and outlet (b) areas of Situ Cisanti. After conducting measurements around Situ Cisanti, the data collected include soil resistivity, ranging from 0.483 to 2.04 Ωm (a) and 658 to 2787 Ωm (b). Soil pH levels were 8.9 - 9.0 (a) and 8.9 (b). Soil Electrical Conductivity (EC) and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) measured 250 - 280 μs and 194 - 207 ppm (a), and 240 μs and 178 ppm (b). Water pH was 7.7 (a) and 8.7 - 9.1 (b). Water EC and TDS were 100 μs and 83 ppm (a), and 80 - 180 μs and 65 - 94 ppm (b). The results indicated higher pesticide contamination in the outlet compared to the inlet, signifying potential risks to soil health.

Abstract

Pasar ikan adalah salah satu zona di pasar ikan Lambaro. Limbah pencucian ikan di pasar Lambaro tidak diolah terlebih dahulu melainkan langsung dibuang ke selokan lalu ke badan air. Limbah cair pasar ikan yang tidak diolah dapat menyebabkan kerusakan lingkungan. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengolah limbah cair adalah menggunakan filtrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pengolahan limbah cair pasar ikan Lambaro menggunakan metode Rapid Sand Filtration (RSF). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode RSF. Media filter berupa arang aktif, pasir, ijuk dan kerikil yang dimasukkan kedalam kolom filtrasi dengan waktu tinggal 15, 30 dan 45 menit.  Analisa penyisihan pengotor  yaitu COD, TSS dan Turbiditas. Hasil dari penelitian ini untuk parameter COD berhasil menyisihkan hingga 94,07%, TSS 89,86 dan Turbiditas 63,98%. Ditinjau dari Baku mutu lingkungan, penelitian ini berhasil menurunkan parameter pencemar COD dan TSS hingga dibawah baku mutu Permen LH tahun 2014.

Abstract

The topic of Vibrations and waves is considered challenging for students. The subject must be delivered with good strategies and supported by good learning media. The purpose of this study is to develop an alternative learning media based on the classic Snakes and Ladders game using Google Slides for the topic of Vibrations and Waves at the junior high school level. The development steps of the media were adapted from the design model of Alessi and Trollip, which consists of three stages, including (1) planning, (2) design, and (3) development. In the development phase, six reviewers participated in the product evaluation. Three of them are as media experts and the others are as material experts. After evaluating the product, reviewers provided remarks and scores for each evaluation aspect. Overall, the product received an 86.87% score for the media aspect and a 92.06% score for the material aspect, both categorized as very feasible. These results indicate that the Snakes and Ladders game-based learning media on the topic of Vibrations and Waves using Google Slides is very feasible for use in the teaching and learning process for junior high school students.

Abstract

Pembelajaran virtual dikenal sebagai terobosan terbaru untuk pembelajaran yang mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Teknologi virtual yang biasanya kita temui pada dunia hiburan, tampaknya bisa diadaptasi selama proses pembelajaran terutama materi ajar Fisika. Rancangan penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran Fisika menggunakan Virtual Reality (VR). VR adalah teknologi berbasis komputer dengan menyajikan gambaran dunia nyata pada dunia imajinasi berbentuk tiga dimensi (3D) dengan audio pada waktu bersamaan. Pemilihan materi ajar Hukum Hooke dianggap sangat dekat dengan keseharian peserta didik. Penggunaan VR selama proses pembelajaran Hukum Hooke bisa mengubah persepsi peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran kaku yang selama ini diterima. Dengan bantuan teknologi terbarukan, VR bisa menyulap pembelajaran dari yang biasa saja menjadi luar biasa berkat bantuan 3D. Pengemasan materi yang seolah-olah nyata menjadi hal baru bagi anak-anak yang selama ini cuma mengandalkan VR sebagai sarana hiburan semata. Research and Development adalah metode yang digunakan selama melakukan penelitian ini. Pengembangan VR selama proses pembelajaran meliputi analisis dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, dan desain produk. Penelitian ini membawa perubahan yang signifikan terhadap proses pembelajaran menggunakan VR pada materi ajar Hukum Hooke di Kelas XI-MIPA MAN 2 Aceh Barat.

Abstract

Cocoa plants produce cocoa fruit that can be used to make chocolate. There is 75% cocoa shell waste, from 25% cocoa beans. The cellulose content of cocoa shells ranges from 23-54%. This study aims to utilize cocoa shells as carbon for making environmentally friendly stamp ink. The variations of cocoa shell carbon used are 30 grams, 35 grams, 40 grams and 45 grams. The making of stamp ink is done by cocoa shell carbon , then the carbon is ground and vacuumed with a 100 mesh sieve. The carbon powder is added with 15 ml of polyethyelene glycol, 35 ml of alcohol and 50 ml of distilled water in each variation. The characteristic of stamp ink include density, viscosity, drying time, rubbing resistence, pH and color pihment. The best result are in the 30 gram variation with a density value of 1,015 g/cm³, viscosity of 2,50 poise, drying time of 8 seconds, the ink rubbing resistance does not fade. A ph of 8.5 is alkaline and produces black pigments.

Abstract

The majority of physics learning in high school is still considered difficult to understand and has an impact on low ability to solve the problems given. This research aims to (1) determine students' knowledge abilities in solving physics problems on thermodynamic concepts. (2) Knowing students' understanding abilities in solving physics problems on thermodynamic concepts. (3) Knowing students' application abilities in solving physics problems on thermodynamic concepts. (4) a description of students' analytical abilities in solving physics problems on thermodynamic concepts. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive research design. The subjects in this research were class XI students at SMAN 2 Binongko. The data collection technique used essay test questions which were then given to class XI students. The research results show that (1) Students' ability to solve physics questions at the knowledge level (C1) is categorized as high with a percentage of 44%. (2) Students' ability to solve physics questions at the understanding level (C2) is categorized as moderate with a percentage of 36%. (3) Students' ability to solve physics questions at the applied level (C3) is categorized as very low with a percentage of 64%. (4) Students' ability to solve physics questions at the analysis level (C4) is categorized as very low with a percentage of 75%.

Abstract

The learning process in general still uses books and conventional learning models that make students feel bored and bored. The objectives of the study were to: (1) determine the feasibility of E-LKPD, (2) find out the response of students to E-LKPD, (3) find out the improvement of student learning outcomes to E-LKPD based on discovery learning. The method used in the research is the research method of research and development (R & D) development with a 4-D model. The results showed that: (1) the feasibility of developing discovery learning-based E-LKPD assessed by media experts with a feasibility of 0.79 with the feasible category and material experts were in the feasibility of 0.89 with the very feasible category and teacher assessment with a feasibility of 0.94 with the very feasible category, (2) the response of students to the discovery learning-based E-LKPD was 0.99 with the very interesting category,  (3) E-LKPD based on discovery learning is stated to be able to improve student learning outcomes by obtaining an N-Gain Score of 0.78 with a high category and a percentage of 77.61 in the "Very Effective" category. It can be concluded that discovery learning-based E-LKPD can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

The adoption of Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum in universities in Indonesia has been carried out massively, but in some cases, the implementation of OBE has not been carried out optimally, including in Classical Mechanics courses. The purpose of this study was to analyze (1) the suitability of the RPS document to the demands of Outcome-Based Education, (2) the implementation of lectures, (3) lecture evaluation mechanisms, and (4) the difficulties still experienced by students in the Classical Mechanics course. This research was conducted on 3 lecturers teaching Classical Mechanics courses and 64 undergraduate students of Physics Education at one of the universities in Malang. Data were collected through learning observation, interviews, surveys, and document analysis. Qualitative data analysis techniques using Miles & Huberman analysis techniques. The results showed that in general the implementation of the OBE-based curriculum in the Classical Mechanics course was good but there needed to be some improvements both in the RPS, learning implementation, and learning evaluation. On the other hand, there are still many difficulties experienced by students in understanding topics in Classical Mechanics lectures.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruhpendekatan STEM dalam pembelajaran fisika di sekolah menegah. Metodepenelitian yang digunakan adalah metode systematic review denganmenggunkan sampel dari 5 artikel internasional yang terbit tahun 2020sampai 2023. Dari peneletian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatanSTEM dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat mempengaruhipembelajaran fisika di sekolah menengah. Model PjBL dengan pendekatanSTEM dapat mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran seperti berpikir kreatif,aktif dan mampu bekerja sama dalam tim.

Abstract

Learning physics in senior high school is often a challenge because the material requires theoretical and mathematical understanding, especially if the learning method does not pay attention to the learning style of students. This study aims to analyze articles related to physics learning outcomes based on the learning styles of high school students using a meta-analysis approach. This research is a meta-analysis of previous research published in the 2015-2024 timeframe. This research provides guidance for teachers in designing effective learning strategies according to the needs of students. The results showed that visual learning style is the most dominant in supporting physics concept understanding, followed by auditory style, and finally kinesthetic style. However, other factors such as motivation and teaching methods also affect learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study states that learning style is not the only factor that affects physics learning outcomes. A multimodel learning approach is important to improve learning outcomes effectively and inclusively.
