Abstract

Pemerintah memberikan perhatian terhadap Arsitek dengan mengesahkan Undang-Undang Arsitek No 6 Tahun 2017. Undang-Undang tersebut memberikan jaminan terhadap arsitek dan pengguna jasa arsitek. Meskipun demikian, peran arsitek masih sering digantikan atau bahkan dihilangkan. Kemajuan teknologi memungkinkan proses desain dilakukan oleh selain arsitek sehingga perannya semakin mudah digantikan. Fenomena tersebut memunculkan pertanyaan terkait relevansi profesi arsitek serta relevansi dan kelayakan pendidikan arsitektur. Tulisan ini mencoba menjawab pertanyaan tersebut serta apa yang perlu diperhatikan oleh penyelenggara pendidikan. Berdasarkan data dari Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) tahun 2020, Indonesia hanya memiliki 21.421 tenaga ahli arsitektur padahal kebutuhannya diperkirakan mencapai 200.000 orang. Paparan ini merupakan sebuah diskursi yang didapatkan melalui telaah Undang-Undang. Hasilnya mengarah pada pemahaman bahwa pendidikan arsitektur dituntut untuk meningkatkan kualitas lulusan dengan menekankan pengajaran pada aspek tersebut sehingga menegaskan peran arsitek yang sulit tergantikan. Perguruan tinggi perlu memiliki pandangan jauh kedepan karena berperan melahirkan calon arsitek yang berkarir pada 5 atau 10 tahun ke depan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Rumusan Masalah dalam penelitian ini diantaranya: 1) Bagaimana posisi subjek-objek dalam kumpulan cerpen Akar Pule karya Oka Rusmini dalam kajian analisis wacana kritis Sara Mills?; 2) Bagaimana posisi pembaca dalam kumpulan cerpen Akar Pule karya Oka Rusmini dalam kajian analisis wacana kritis Sara Mills?; Tujuan Penelitian: 1) Untuk mengetahui posisi subjek-objek dalam kumpulan cerpen Akar Pule karya Oka Rusmini dalam kajian analisis wacana kritis Sara Mills; 2) Untuk Untuk mengetahui posisi pembaca dalam kumpulan cerpen Akar Pule karya Oka Rusmini dalam kajian analisis wacana kritis Sara Mills. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Objek penelitian ini yaitu kumpulan cerpen Akar Pule karya Oka Rusmini yang berjumlah sepuluh cerita pendek. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut, 1) posisi subjek melihat sebagai pihak menceritakan memiliki tolak ukur dari sudut pandang penceritaannya bertumpu pada dirinya. Memenuhi empat kriteria posisi subjek menurut Sara Mills, yakni: mampu mendefinisikan dirinya sendiri, menceritakan peristiwa, menceritakan realitas, dan menceritakan tokoh lain dalam cerpen berdasarkan sudut pandangnya sendiri. 2) Oka Rusmini sebagai penulis menempatkan tokoh utama perempuan yaitu Pudak, Biang Regina, Sipleg, seorang perempuan, Dayu Cenana, Grubug, Bunga, Saring diposisi objek. Posisi objek menjelaskan bahwa jati diri peempuan sekalipun sebagai subjek tidak terlepas sebagai yag diceritakan. Kemudian kehadiran aktor melihat gagasannya memiliki kesempatan untuk menampilkan dirinya sendiri atau ditampilkan oleh orang lain. 3) posisi pembaca dapat dilihat dengan penyapaan langsung dan penyapaan tidak langsung yang digunakan oleh pengarang, sehingga dalam hal ini dapat melihat bagaimana pembaca memposisikan dirinya dalam teks yang ditampilkan. Maka dari itu, keseluruhan jalainan teks yang diuraikan pengarang dapat mengidentifikasi posisi penulis selaku peneliti memposisikan dirinya sebagai perempuan. Dalam kumpulan cerita pendek Akar Pule dikisahkan dengan sudut pandang orang ketiga tahu segalanya yang menceritakan kehidupan tokoh perempuan. Maka pembaca akan mengidentifikasi atau mensejajarkan karakter tokoh yang mendapat banyak perlakuan kekerasan dan ketidakadilan namun tetap kuat dan tegar, secara tidak sadar menempatkan pembaca pada karakter tokoh perempuan dan turut merasakan kesedihan-kesedihan yang dialaminya. KATA KUNCI: analisis wacana kritis, sara mills, cerpen akar pule karya Oka Rusmini COMPARISON OF THE ABILITY TO LISTENING TO FAIRY TALES WITH HAND PUPPET MEDIA AND IMAGE MEDIA IN CHILDREN EARLY AGE ABSTRACT: The formulation of the problems in this study include: 1) What is the position of the subject-object in the short story collection Akar Pule by Oka Rusmini in Sara Mills' critical discourse analysis study?; 2) What is the position of the reader in the collection of short stories Akar Pule by Oka Rusmini in Sara Mills' critical discourse analysis study?; Research Objectives: 1) To determine the position of the subject-object in the collection of short stories Akar Pule by Oka Rusmini in the study of critical discourse analysis by Sara Mills; 2) To find out the position of the reader in the collection of short stories Akar Pule by Oka Rusmini in Sara Mills' critical discourse analysis study. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The research technique used is the technique of documentation and literature study. The object of this research is a collection of ten short stories by Oka Rusmini Akar Pule. The conclusions in this study are as follows, 1) the position of the subject sees as the party telling the story has a benchmark from the point of view of the story that rests on him. Fulfilling the four criteria for subject position according to Sara Mills, namely: being able to define himself, telling events, telling reality, and telling other characters in short stories based on his own point of view. 2) Oka Rusmini as a writer places the main female characters namely Pudak, Biang Regina, Sipleg, a woman, Dayu Cenana, Grubug, Bunga, Saring in the object position. The position of the object explains that a woman's identity, even as a subject, cannot be separated from what is told. Then the presence of the actor sees his ideas have the opportunity to present himself or be displayed by others. 3) the position of the reader can be seen by the direct greeting and indirect greeting used by the author, so that in this case one can see how the reader positions himself in the text displayed. Therefore, the overall structure of the text described by the author can identify the position of the author as a researcher to position himself as a woman. In a collection of short stories, Akar Pule is told from a third-person, know-it-all point of view, which tells the story of the life of a female character. Then the reader will identify or align the characters who have received a lot of violence and injustice but are still strong and tough, unconsciously placing the reader in the shoes of female characters and sharing the sorrows they experience. Abstract

Final grades of student who participated in the Course of Instrumental Analytical Chemistry in Odd Semester, Academic Year of 2022/2023 indicate a low student achievement. The objective of this study was to improve the instruction of Instrumental Analytical Chemistry Course by increasing student learning activities and student achievement on the topic of infra red and nuclear magnetic resonance analysis by utilizing HyperChem and ChemOffice Software. Student and lecturer observation sheet were used for measuring student and lecturer activities, respectively while, an essay test sheet was given to measure student cognitive ability. Student and lecturer activity scores for Cycle 1 were 22 and 27, respectively and fell in “Good” category. Student activity score rose up to the maximum score, 27 while, lecturer activity score remained in maximum score in Cycle 2. Lecturer activity already had a maximum score in Cycle 1 because the lecturer was well-prepared in the instruction as well as successful implementation of learning plan. Increasing student achievement was also recorded from Cycle 1 (average 80.2) to Cycle 2 (average 88.5). The percentage of student who gained score above 65 was 93% in Cycle 1 and went up to 100% in Cycle 2. HyperChem and ChemDraw are able to assist the instruction of Instrumental Analytical Chemistry course on the topic of IR and NMR.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the feasibility level of, students’ response, level of students’ understanding of the electronic module based on creative thinking skills using 3D Page Flip Professional on Hydrocarbon subject at SMAIT IQRA'Bengkulu City. This type of research is R&D (Research and Development) which used 3 of the 4 stages of the 4D (Four D) development model included Define, Design and Development. The data of this study were obtained from a validation questionnaire from material and media experts, the results of small-scale trials, large-scale trial results, student response questionnaires and students' level of understanding of the developed electronic module. The feasibility level of the electronic module is based on material expert validation of 93.18% which states that the quality of the material in the electronic module is feasible from the material aspect and based on creative thinking skills, the validation of media experts is 97.20% which states that the display quality on the electronic module is appropriate from the media aspect, the small scale trial was 92.47% which stated that the discourse on the was easy to understand. Students’ response to the module in the field implementation test was 93.92% which stated that students gave a very good response to the developed electronic module and the level of student understanding based on the N-Gain Score of 0.37 was in the medium category. This showed that the electronic module based on creative thinking skills using 3D Page Flip Professional on hydrocarbon subject is very suitable to be used as teaching material in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based colloid system teaching materials assisted by exe-learning applications. The development model used was the 4-D (Four-D) model which consists of the define, design, develop and disseminate stages. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Bengkulu Utara with the research subjects being 12 students of class XI MIPA 2 for the small-scale trial, and 34 students of grade XI MIPA 3 for the large-scale trial. The instruments used were interview sheets, questionnaires, material and media validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest sheets. The results of this study indicate that the web-based colloid system teaching materials are very feasible by media experts and material experts with a percentage of 93.13% of media aspect and 86.42% of material aspect, student responses to web-based colloid system teaching materials are in the category of very good with an average percentage of 89.56%. Learning outcomes after using teaching materials developed increased with an average N-gain score of 0.67 on the medium criteria and the teacher's response to web-based colloid system teaching materials was in the very good category with an average percentage an average of 93.23%.

Abstract

Cukuh Raya Beach coastal water is potentially polluted by organic materials from shrimp ponds. The purpose of this study was to determine the content of organic materials (ammonia [NH3], nitrate [NO3], phosphate [PO4], and fatty oil) discharged into the coastal waters and to examine the role of eco-enzymes in reducing the organic material levels. Two points of sampling were selected, i.e., 10 and 100 m from the pipeline outfall discharge of shrimp ponds. An experiment was carried out to compare the level of organic content before and after the eco-enzyme solutions were given. Sampling and technique analysis of seawater were done following the Indonesian National Standards. The data were analysed using the Indonesian quality standards for marine biota and the pollution index. The results showed that seawater samples from the coast contained organic waste, with the highest levels at 10 m from the outfall. The level of organic content decreased after the addition of eco-enzyme solutions. The conclusion is that the organic materials (ammonia, nitrate, phosphate, and fatty oil) were found in water samples in the waters of Cukuh Raya Beach and were moderately polluted by ammonia (NH3). The addition of an eco-enzyme solution can reduce the concentration of organic materials.

Abstract

Pelepah sawit memiliki banyak kandungan unsur hara seperti: 2.6-2.9 % N; 0.16-0.19% P; 1.1-1.3% K; 0.5-0.7% Ca; 0.3-0.45% Mg; 0.25-0.40% S; 0.5-0.7% Cl; 15-25 mikrogram/L B; 5-8 mikrogram/L Cu; dan 12-18 mikro/L Zn. Tingginya kandungan zat hara pelepah sawit tersebut, berpotensi dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk organik yang unggul dan ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Arga Indah II dalam pengolahan limbah pelepah sawit menjadi pupuk organik dan mengetahui peningkatan ekonomi yang terjadi di Desa Arga indah II setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan ini. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan kombinasi antara kegiatan lapangan (offline) dan online. Kegiatan diawali dengan melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat mengenai pengenalan program, rencana kegiatan yang akan dilakukan dan pemberian pemahaman kepada masyarakat dalam pembuatan pupuk organik pelepah sawit. Selanjutnya dilakukan pelaksanaan pembuatan pupuk yang dimulai dengan pengumpulan limbah pelepah sawit, pencacahan, proses pengadukan dan dekomposisi. Pengecekan dilakukan setiap minggu, pada minggu pertama secara offline dan minggu kedua hingga keempat secara online dan dilanjutkan pengaplikasian, pengemasan dan pemasaran dengan mitra kerja. Tim PHP2D terus melakukan pengawasan rutin atas keberlanjutan program guna mewujudkan masyarakat peduli lingkungan yang memanfaatkan limbah organik sebagai sumber pendapatan di Desa Arga Indah II.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative descriptive study which aims to determine students' misconceptions about stoichiometry material using a diagnostic essay test instrument assisted by the Certainty Of Response Index (CRI) at SMA Negeri 9 Bengkulu City. The field trial sample included 24 students of class X MIPA 1 and an implementation sample of 27 students of class The results of the empirical validation test obtained 17 fit questions and 2 misfit questions from the 19 questions tested. The results of the differential power test showed that 19 items tested were included in the good differential power category with logit standard error (SE) values for 19 items < 0.5. The research results showed that overall student misconceptions were 25% in the low category. The highest misconception lies in the concept of determining product mass, with a misconception percentage of 52%, which is in the medium category. Abstract

Providing learning resources related to the use of natural resources and the environment around us is very necessary, so that the learning process in class is more active and interesting. This research aims to develop a natural product organic chemistry (KOBA) learning module based on research results on the use of natural product compounds, so that students are more motivated in learning. Research and Development (R&D) or development research uses the ADDIE development model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were 24 seventh semester students of the 2023/2024 Bengkulu University FKIP Chemistry Education Undergraduate Study Program. Data collection techniques use expert validation questionnaire sheets and student response questionnaires and data analysis techniques use quantitative data analysis. The results of the research show that the validator's assessment of the developed module obtained an average score of 93.60%, which is included in the very valid category, while the results of student assessments of the developed module obtained an average of 93%, which is included in the very interesting category. Based on the results of the expert validation assessment questionnaire and student response questionnaire, it can be concluded that the module developed is very suitable for use as a learning resource in the learning process.

Abstract

The accurate estimation of crop water requirements is critical for efficient water resource management, particularly in regions with limited irrigation resources. This study aims to evaluate the water requirements for rice crops using the CROPWAT 8.0 model and compare the results with the Penman Modification Calculation method, as specified in the Irrigation Planning Standards (KP-01). This research is conducted using climatological data from the Kandang IV Station located near Batang Anai Irrigation area, focusing on key factors such as effective precipitation, air temperature, humidity, wind speed, sunshine duration, and topography. The representative Soil of the local area was incorporated into the analysis. The study finds that the average evapotranspiration (ETo) using CROPWAT 8.0 was 3.09 mm/day, with the peak water demand for rice occurring at the end of August, reaching 1.51 L/s·ha. These findings align with the study’s objective of assessing irrigation demand for rice crops and offer a comparison of methodologies used to estimate water requirements. The results emphasize the need for improvements in the default crop and soil data used by CROPWAT 8.0 to better align with local agricultural conditions in Indonesia. This study contributes to the ongoing development of more accurate models for water requirement estimation and highlights the importance of region-specific calibration in irrigation planning. Further research is needed to enhance the model's functionality and to explore alternative methods for improving water use efficiency in rice farming.
