Abstract

Pesantren as Indonesia's original educational institution has proven to produce experts in their fields for hundreds of years. The current modern higher education system often does not prioritise the formation of ideal human beings, but is more focused on the formation of material-oriented individuals who lack spiritual values. This problem demands serious efforts in strengthening the peace and tranquillity of life, both through escorting and developing human resources, as well as through a revolution in the performance of educators and the higher education system as a whole. This research aims to see how Pesantren Education as Indonesia's Indigenous Heritage: Nurturing Moral Education in the Digital Era and its Human Resources have the capability to manage and survive in the current digital era. This research method is qualitative and quantitative, where the author uses literature studies and case studies that take place at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, which is a representation of pesantren that have superior universities in Indonesia. The results of this study are In this model, character education, career development and performance improvement of Islamic human resources, Islamic human resource development, and Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor become an important part of the programmes offered. In addition, the programme also includes values such as Qurrota A'yun, Islamic human resource development, sincerity, independence, modernity, leadership and success in the Islamic context, boarding school, simplicity, and culture and structure. Gontor endeavours to create a learning environment that conforms to the principles of the Islamic learning model for human resource development and Islamic values become the main guideline in human resource management, while career development based on Islamic law is also prioritised to form quality Islamic human resources. Aspects of Islamic professionalism are also emphasised to ensure the integration of Islamic values in professional actions and behaviour.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi nilai dakwah melalui toleransi beragama di pondok pesantren di Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Hal ini penting dipahami karena tudingan yang mengatakan bahwa pondok pesantren di Kalimantan Selatan masih rawan tertular paham radikal keagamaan. Metodologi yang dipakai ini merupakan penelitian lapangan, sumber data berupa hasil wawancara dengan pimpinan pondok pesantren dan juga para guru pengasuh pondok pesantren yang berada dalam wilayah Kalimantan Selatan terkait isu-isu toleransi beragama. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa implementasi nilai dakwah melalui toleransi beragama di pondok pesantren dalam Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan berjalan dengan sangat baik. Pemahaman para usataz dan ustazah tentang toleransi beragama dan berkeyakinan semuanya merujuk kepada ayat Al-Quran dan contoh perilaku kebaikan Nabi Muhammad terhadap orang-orang non muslim. Di samping itu, negara Indonesia yang berdasarkan atas Pancasila, UUD 1945, dan UU di bawahnya juga menjadi rujukan ketika para ustaz dan ustazah menjelaskan toleransi beragama. Toleransi beragama itu diimplementasikan dengan mempersilahkan kepada penganut agama lain untuk mendirikan tempat ibadah mereka di tengah masyarakat muslim, termasuk melakukan segenap aktivitas keagamaan lainnya. Tudingan bahwa pondok pesantren di Kalimantan Selatan telah terkontaminasi paham radikal tidak terbukti. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pertama yang mengkaji tentang toleransi beragama di pondok pesantren dalam Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, sehingga menjadi dasar kebijakan terhadap perumusan peraturan terhadap lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

This research aims to do two things. First, it aims to make a computer adaption test (CAT) for Islamic subjects for the santri in ABC Pesantren. Second, it aims to see the results of the CAT test for Islamic subjects in the production of Learning Medical Records. The records is for diagnosing students' abilities. This research consists of two parts using the research and development (R&D) approach: 1). We collected the data by observing, documenting, and interviewing. We analyzed the data using the concept of reliability among the raters/respondents. We used the generalizability coefficient in Genova 3.1. We analyzed the results using numbers. They describe data from RMP technology education. The research shows that: (1) the CAT can be made based on user needs. It's Internet-based, user-friendly, interactive, highly secure, and easily accessible. (2) The CAT can recognize three different users: school management, teachers, and students. (3) The expert evaluation's quantitative data has high consistency: 0.76. It comes from single, small group, and large group outcomes. (4) The CAT can accurately estimate students' abilities and record learning records. The software uses the triangle decision tree method. It can pick test items and measure ability well. This is clear from the correlation (r) between ability and the software's CAT scores.

Abstract

The development of a student's personality is a crucial aspect of their educational journey, laying the foundation for their future success and well-being. Character education has been recognized as a vital component of this process, aiming to cultivate values, attitudes, and behaviors essential for personal and social growth. This review examines the role of character education in shaping student personality, focusing on both curriculum and school practices. The study discusses theoretical frameworks underpinning character education, including the significance of values, moral development, and social-emotional learning. It explores curriculum design and implementation, highlighting challenges and opportunities in integrating character education into existing curricula. Additionally, the review investigates the role of school practices, emphasizing the involvement of teachers, parents, and the broader school community. Strategies such as character-based lesson plans, extracurricular activities, and community service projects are examined. Findings suggest that character education significantly influences student personality development, particularly in fostering values, empathy, and social responsibility. The study underscores the importance of a collaborative approach among educators, parents, and the school community for effective implementation. Implications include the need for schools to prioritize character education in their curricula and practices. The study concludes by emphasizing the potential of character education to positively impact student personality and overall well-being, advocating for continued research and development to inform best practices in this field.

Abstract

ZIIS Islamic Modern College is one of the Islamic modern educational institutions located in Banyumas, Central Java, which prepares its students for individual and social life. The institute holds various activities, including language activities. These language activities are organized by the college with the goal of habituating students to use language in their daily conversations. The aim of this research is to describe the role of language activities in practicing students' speech at ZIIS Islamic Modern College in Cilongok, Banyumas, Central Java. This research uses a qualitative approach with a field study design. The researcher employed interviews, observations, and document analysis to collect data. After conducting the research, the researchers obtained the following results: The language activities at ZIIS Islamic Modern College include vocabulary presentations, weekly conversations, lectures, watching movies, and inviting Arabic speakers. These activities play an important role. One of their roles is to practice students' Arabic and English speech, focusing on short daily expressions.

Abstract

This paper presents the practicality of the calligraphy learning model based on imlaiyyah rules. Imlaiyyah rules need to be mastered by calligraphers, as a means of control so that there are no writing errors in writing verses of the Qur'an. The verses of the Qur'an must be written beautifully visually and grammatically correctly so that every eye that reads it feels comfortable and there are no mistakes in meaning and interpretation. The research method used is the Research & Development (R&D) method. Teachers who teach calligraphy must also find it easy and practical to convey the calligraphy material to be presented. Do not feel burdened, happy to teach it, and can achieve learning targets as desired. The results of this study can be seen from the results of the instructor's response, including the range of very positive qualifications with very practical criteria.

Abstract

An efforts needs to be taken by a nation to improve education in pursuing advancement and developments in science and technology. We are currently entering the period of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the Era of Society 5.0, in which it is necessary for people to use creativity and technology to solve social problems. The goal of this discussion is to identify the most relevant HR supervision theories for the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the Society 5.0 eras in order to raise the standard of instructors by requiring them to understand technology. This research was carried out using the library research method which consisted of determining the theme of the discussion, finding reference sources according to the theme of the discussion, compiling the contents of the material, and concluding the results of several reference articles. The theory applied was the relationship between the HR supervision function and teacher quality in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and the era of society 5.0. The results of the discussion indicate the need for renewal. Education and training need to be packaged into an activity that is able to improve mindsets, new innovations, as well as teachers' mastery of technology in schools, so as to create modern learning according to the needs of the times.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the efforts of the Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Al Amin Bojonegoro Islamic Boarding School in developing the education of ulama cadres, the concept of ulama according to the pesantren's perspective, and the strategies implemented by the pesantren in producing Muhammadiyah ulama cadres This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity is checked through triangulation of sources and methods Data  analysis includes: data condensation, data   presentation, verification, and drawing conclusions The results of the study show: The concept of ulama at pesantren. MBS Al Amin Bojonegoro has the nature of tafaqquh fiddiin which means the ability to understand Islam, have memorized the Qur'an and can convey religious knowledge through lectures and sermons in the community. Learning in this pesantren is provided through madrasah diniyah and formal learning in madrasah schools, so that tafaqquh fiddiin includes mastery of religious knowledge and general knowledge. The steps taken by Islamic boarding schools in the formation of ulama cadre education includ: (a) Education and training through formalaaeducational institutions (schools/madrasahs) that are integrated with religious lessons; (b) Strengthening and accelerating memorization of the Qur'an with special training programs for tahsin, tamrin, and tasmik; (c) Habituation of student activities where activities are arranged for 24 hours which include ulama activities such as tahajud prayer, sunnah prayer, memorization activities, and diniyah lessons; (d) Developing and executing an integrated curriculum between the pesantren curriculum and the national

Abstract

This article aims to review and analyze the relevance of prophetic leadership patterns in Muhammadiyah Pesantren with leaders' needs in the disruption era. This is evidenced by the management of education that uses the latest technology to face the growing social challenges. The era of disruption is changing the management of education that uses renewable technology to face the growing social challenges, especially in education, and how Muhammadiyah tackles this issue. Muhammadiyah Pesantren is an educational institution that adheres to the values of prophetic leadership with that character and does not abandon the transformation of digitalization in the era of disruption. The research method used is qualitative, with data collected through field studies. In-depth interviews were conducted with the Head of the Muhammadiyah Pesantren Development Institute PWM East Java and the leaders of Al-Furqon Muhammadiyah Pesantren Batu City to clarify the phenomenon of education in the current era of disruption. Data validation was carried out using the triangulation method. Leaders today require high standards and qualifications to present quality, efficient, and effective leadership patterns to solve future challenges. The education system managed by Muhammadiyah Pesantren leaders requires transformation with the concept of digitalization without leaving prophetic values as the foundation of its leadership. It is only necessary to develop the concept of prophetic leadership to penetrate every aspect of renewal and modernization. The implementation of ideal leadership in this era is designed with the concepts of humanization, liberation, and transcendence. This research proposes recommendations for concrete practices of ideal leadership for Muhammadiyah Pesantren in facing the challenges of the disruption era.
