Abstract

Menyirih (nyeupah) merupakan tradisi orang tua masa lalu, yang dilakukan dengan cara mengunyah pinang, kapur sirih, gambir, dan daun sirih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi pewarna dari hasil simulasi menyirih dan memformulasikannya dalam sediaan lipstick pelembab-pewarna bibir. Sari hasil simulasi menyirih dibuat dari campuran pinang, kapur sirih, gambir, dan daun sirih yang direndam kemudian disaring dan disentrifugasi. Optimasi basis lipstick menggunakan oleum cacao dengan konsentrasi berbeda yaitu 4%, 5%, 6%, dan formula 4% yang menghasilkan basis yang optimal. Formulasi sediaan lipstick menggunakan oleum ricini, vaselin album, cera alba, emulsifying wax, gliserin dan nipagin, serta sari hasil simulasi menyirih dengan tiga formulasi berbeda yaitu 35% memberikan warna peach, 40% memberikan warna nude dan 45% memberikan warna gold. Hasil uji stabilitas selama 30 hari dalam suhu kamar (25◦C-30◦C) menunjukkan bahwa tidak terjadi perubahan bentuk, warna dan bau. Pada uji hedonik, formula 40% yang banyak disukai yaitu 67,9%

Abstract

Aloe vera potential to developed into antiseptic preparation. One of the preparation is spray gel that easy to use. The aim of this study is to made an antiseptic spray gel containing aloe vera extract. This study devided into 3 part are optimization a gel based, extraction aloe vera and formulation Gel spray containing aloe vera extract. The preparation are evaluated, include organoleptic, homogenity, pH viscosity, spray pattern and hedonic test. The optimization of this preparation showed that the optimization gel base has concentration carbopol 0,25% have viscocity 791,618 cps. Aloe vera exstrack made from maceration with ethano. Spray gel made into 3 formulation are F1, F2, F3 which contains aloe vera extract 8,5%, 10,5%, 12,5%. Viscocity F1 is 28,817 cps, F2 is 19,225, and F3 is 8,058 cps. The result of hedonic test on 53 respondents, based on the order favorite level, F1 is the most preferred preparation with a percentage of 67,54%, then F3 in the 2nd order favored by 64,9% of respondents and the last is F2 with the favorite percentage 64,15%.

Abstract

The onions Dayak (Eleutherine palmifolia L. Merr) is the kind of nutritious plants that are empirically for used health. The part that can be used in this plant is tubers whichi has red light and green leaves form of ribbon and flowers are white. The research onions dayak as coloring, to get the color of the isolation of the onions dayak done by the tubers onions dayak still fresh in pieces and bleender, the conducted screening with filter paper that aims to get of red viscous. Previously carried out first optimasi its cera alba three formule its different 3%, 6%, 9%, and formule 3% that generates its efficiency. Formulation was made by using paraffin liquid, vaselin album, emulsyfying wax, butil hidroksi toluen (BHT), nipagin, gliserin, and oleum ricini. The isolation of the onions dayak with three different formulasion 20% rose, 35% red brick, 50% nude. The results of the hedonic test on formule 2 as much as 44% of respondents choose “really like”. While based on the scale numerical and that just formule 2 with a concentration 35% more preferred respondents with the judgment of 76%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Foundation (Compact Powder) is a decorative cosmetics (makeup) used in cosmetology as a base before sprayed powder. Foundation serves to disguise pale skin, make face powder more attached to the surface of the skin, and cover blemishes acne scars. Chicken’s egg shell contains carbonate calcium (CaCO3) at around 94%, also protein and vitamins. CaCO3 has a strength to revet and gives the radiant effect when face powders be used, so that egg shell are well suited as a base material foundation. Foundation is made in the form of a lotion product (liquid) and cream by using a base Na-CMC 0,25% ; 0,5% and 0,75%. Whereas, optimization of cream base with various concentrations Emulsifying Wax is 10%, 9%, 8%, 7% dan 5%. The results on optimization of lotion base obtained optimal base is base with a concentration of 0,75%, whereas the optimum concentration cream base is 8%. Domestic chicken egg shell’s powder obtained from the process of pollination using a mortar. Cream foundation created in six formulas, namely the first formula containing 5% of active subtance, second formula containing 7,5%, third formula containing 10%, fourth formula containing 12,5%, formula fifth containing 15% and sixth formula containing 17,5%. Stability cream test’s result showed the stocks is stable during 30 days of storage. Having done hedonic test on respondent 52 people based on preference level, obtained result is the first formula become the first order of most preffered with a percentage of 73,5%, second formula at 71,9%, 62,3% for third formula, fourth formula at 57,3%, and fifth formula at 51,2% and sixth formula is 44,6%.
