Abstract

This research investigates the effectiveness of various language learning models in improving students' skills in writing anecdotal texts at the secondary school level. The primary research problem addresses the gap in the existing teaching methods for anecdotal text writing and the need for innovative, intercultural, and project-based learning models. The objective of the research is to evaluate the impact of project-based learning, technology, and intercultural communication strategies on students' writing and critical thinking abilities. The research method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), analyzing 50 relevant articles published in the last five years. Results show that project-based learning models and technology such as Grammarly and other digital media can improve students' writing and critical thinking skills. The intercultural approach also plays an important role in building cross-ethnic cultural understanding between teachers and students. However, there are limitations on the implementation of technology and generalization of research results, so further research is needed for the development of a more inclusive model.

Abstract

In the digital era, the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed how people understand and practice religion, creating new opportunities while posing significant challenges to cultural diversity and spiritual values. Using a Systematic Literature Review, this study examines how language and AI reshape religious practices, focusing on their impact on the cross-linguistic interpretation of religious texts, the transformation of communication patterns between congregants and spiritual authorities, and the personalization of religious messages and its implications for pluralism. The findings reveal that AI enhances accessibility to religious texts through automated translation and language-based algorithms while presenting challenges such as algorithmic bias, homogenization of interpretations, and risks to cultural diversity. Homogenization of interpretations refers to the tendency of AI systems to simplify or prioritize dominant theological perspectives, potentially marginalizing alternative or minority interpretations that contribute to the richness of religious traditions. Additionally, AI-powered virtual assistants alter communication patterns with spiritual authorities, and message personalization, defined here as the algorithmic tailoring of religious content to an individual’s digital behavior, preferences, or consumption history, tends to create information isolation that may hinder interfaith dialogue. This study emphasizes the need for ethical and inclusive approaches to AI development to preserve cultural and theological diversity.

Abstract

The meaning of hate speech in social media can shift because the way people use social media is constantly changing, and the social and political context in which social media is used can also change. This study aims to analyze hate speech comments on Instagram and the meaning and relevance of the implicature to forensic linguistics. This research employs a qualitative approach to collect and analyze the meaning of hate speech. The research data was obtained from Instagram through hashtag searches. The main findings of this study indicate that hate speech on social media tends to avoid direct vulgar linguistic forms and instead relies on implicit language strategies to convey negative sentiments towards individuals or groups. There is widespread use of diminutives such as “bocah” or “bocil,” social stigmatization such as “ndeso” and “bau kencur,” and institutional euphemisms such as “makkamah keluarga,” all of which are important linguistic indicators in the analysis of political hatred in the digital space. The intensity classification shows that hate speech with moderate and severe intensity does not only come from explicit insults but also from narratives that normalize harassment based on age, appearance, and political affiliation. The implications of this study indicate that a forensic linguistic approach is very effective in uncovering forms of hate speech disguised through language strategies such as sarcasm, stereotypes, and euphemisms. Theoretically, these findings enrich the study of pragmatic linguistics and speech acts by showing the importance of implicature analysis in detecting non-explicit hate intentions.

Abstract

The direction of learning targets in the modern era is not only at the level of understanding but also at the level of implementing, analyzing, producing, and evaluating, even to the ability to utilize technology such as websites. Sharf lessons are complex lessons. Very few quality questions are found, and educators still use the Lower Order Thinking Skill (LOTS) level, which sometimes causes them to forget that the target of mastering Sharf science is actually to master Arabic. This study aims to produce questions for the evaluation of Sharf Awwal High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) learning through the Learning Management System (LMS) website. This study is still in the initial research stage using descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection process uses documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results show that developing Sharf Awwal HOTS questions using the website must be based on related materials. In addition, the questions that are compiled must lead to practice in producing descriptive and narrative texts, analyzing texts from sources such as the text of the Qur'an, Alhadith, Arabic news, poetry, to the production of dialogue or communicative texts.
