In Indonesia there are still many people who live in slums, due to various factors. This is of course a shared responsibility and needs more attention, especially from the government and from various circles. Many things happen and affect the condition of people who live in slums, because in terms of health it is also different from those who live in livable settlements. The purpose of the study was to determine whether there is a role for Adversity Qoutient and Character Strength on the resilience of residents in Slum Settlement in the Batang Arau area, Padang City. The research subjects were 110 residential residents aged 25-60 years. Adversity Qoutient is measured by Stoltz's Adversity Quotient (AQ) scale, VIA-Character Strength is measured by Peterson and Seligman's VIA-Character Strength scale, and resilience is measured by Reivich and Shatte's resilience scale. The data was processed by multiple regression analysis method using SPSS version 23.00 for windows. Based on the results of the correlation test, it is known that there is a positive and significant correlation between adversity quotient and resilience (p = 0.000), then there is a positive and significant correlation between character strength and resilience (p = 0.000), and positive and significant correlations. significant relationship between adversity quotient and character strength (AQ) (p = 0.044). The results of this study prove that Adversity Qoutient and Character Strength together play a role in resilience. Adversity Qoutient and Character Strength together make an effective contribution of 56%. The conclusion is to increase the resilience of the population in the slum area of Batang Arau Padang by increasing the Adversity Qoutient and Character Strength.

Every person has the power to flourish by maximizing all his or her abilities to obtain a quality and prosperous life—including away-from-home students. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence the flourishing of Nias students in the city of Yogyakarta. This study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological perspective. The sampling technique used was purposive. Six male away-from-home students were involved, and the inclusion criteria were: 1) participants are from the Nias area; 2) can communicate well; 3) have lived in a boarding house in Yogyakarta for at least one year; 4) have entered at least third semester; 5) aged 18–25 years; 6) willing to be a research participant, as evidenced by a research informed-consent sheet. Data were collected by observation and in-depth interviews with the research sample. Furthermore, this data will be analyzed using content analysis. Nias students who face new environments develop characteristics of positive emotions, engagement, and positive relations in adapting to new environments. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas kepemimpinan profetik dalam menangani krisis Covid-19 yang berdampak pada semua bidang kehidupan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah dengan Purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview) dengan bantuan alat perekam suara Adapun bentuk pedoman wawancara yang akan dilakukan peneliti adalah semi terstruktur. Jumlah subyek yang ikut berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga subjek dengan satu significant others. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh melalui interprestasi analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan profetik efektif dalam menangani krisis pandemi dengan aspek Fathonah sebagai puncak dari ketiga aspek lain yaitu sidiq, amana dan tabliq. Dari penelitian ini kepemimpinan profetik Satgas Penanganan Covid-19 di Kota Yogyakarta efektif dalam menekan angka sebaran Covid-19 sampai dengan bulan Agustus. Pada bulan September, beberapa keputusan pemerintah pusat membuat Satgas Penanganan Covid-19 tidak bisa menerapkan kepemimpinan profetik.

Covid-19 affects healthcare professionals like nurses who handle positive Covid-19 patients directly, potentially having both a physical and psychological impact. It is possible to adapt to a pandemic and still be able to thrive, despite the fact that the disease continues to endanger lives and alter daily life. In an Islamic perspective, flourishing is known as a gift from Allah SWT and can be viewed as a state in which all areas of a person's life perform exceptionally well and are able to reach maximal development so that they can function fully. This study uses qualitative methods and uses interviews as data collection and the findings show that the five subjects have prospered and attribute divine values to each of their occupations by viewing their labor as deserving of devotion. The five subjects have the capacity to learn wisdom and to express gratitude for the blessings Allah SWT has bestowed.

Regulasi emosi sangat penting dimiliki oleh setiap siswa agar bisa terhindar dari perilaku agresif yang akan merugikan semua kalangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara regulasi emosi dengan perilaku agresif siswa SMK di DIY. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 101 siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif, alat pengumpulan data menggunakan skala regulasi emosi dan perilaku agresif. Hasil korelasi menunjukkan nilai koefisien R sebesar 0.552 dengan taraf signifikan (p) sebesar 0.000 (p<0.01). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara perilaku agresif dan regulasi emosi pada siswa SMK di DIY. Semakin tinggi regulasi emosi maka semakin rendah perilaku agresif siswa, dan sebaliknya semakin rendah regulasi emosi maka semakin tinggi perilaku agresif siswa

Masa dewasa pada umumnya, merupakan masa untuk seseorang telah memikirkan dan siap mengarungi rumah tangga. Dalam rumah tangga, pasti banyak sekali permasalahan yang dihadapi. Baik itu masalah dengan pasangan, dengan keluarga, permasalahan ditempat bekerja, permasalahan yang muncul setelah memiliki anak, bahkan permasalahan dilingkungan sekitar dan dengan oranglain. Permasalahan di dalam pernikahan merupakan hal yang wajar terjadi, dan terkadang menjadi sumber stress bagi sebagian orang, demikian juga pada Istri Purnawirawan. Stres jika tidak diatasi dengan baik, juga akan berdampak tidak hanya psikologis, tetapi juga berdampak pada perkembangan kognitif dan Kesehatan. Kebahagiaan di dalam pernikahan merupakan hal yang diinginkan oleh setiap orang. Pentingnya kebahagiaan dimiliki oleh setiap individu. Istri purnawirawan TNI-AD membutuhkan kebahagiaan karena ingin mewujudkan keluarga yang penuh cinta dan memiliki hubungan yang baik selama. Berdasarkan hal tersebut tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran proses kebahagiaan istri purnawirawan TNI-AD dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, pengambilan subjek dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling kepada 5 subjek, pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur, kemudian data dianalisis dengan metode analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan istri purnawirawan TNI-AD memperoleh kebahagiaan dengan dimilikinya hubungan yang positif dengan oranglain, mereka memiliki keterlibatan penuh dalam setiap kegiatan, dapat menemukan makna dalam setiap tindakan yang dilakukan, memiliki sikap optimis serta mampu bangkit dari keadaan yang tidak baik (resiliensi). Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kebahagiaan pada istri purnawirawan TNI-AD adalah rasa bersyukur (gratitude) dan kebebasan sebagai ibu rumah tangga.

Psychological resources are considered in enhancing individual potential, yet few studies have focused on positive psychological variables, especially among elementary school teachers. Character strength and resilience has been highly affected by the appearance of flourishing. Character strength makes a person strong and able to face life and difficulties, and resilience is good in protecting against stress. These two factors have contributed to the flourishing. The aim of this research was to the effect of character strength and resilience on flourishing of elementary school teachers in Lubuk Begalung District, Padang. The number of samples taken in this study were 187 teachers obtained by means of saturated sampling. The research method uses a quantitative approach using three scales (i.e., character strengths, resilience, and flourishing). Using an ex post facto design, regression, F test and t test. Results indicated a there is the effect of character strength and resilience simultaneously on flourishing of elementary school teachers in Lubuk Begalung District, Padang with F=132,475 R2=0,590, and p=0,000, As hypothesized, character strength partially a effect on flourishing of elementary school teachers in Lubuk Begalung District, Padang with beta=0,485, t=10,500, and p=0,000. Additionally, the results also revealed that resilience partially a effect on flourishing of elementary school teachers in Lubuk Begalung District, Padang with beta=0,204, t=5,435, and p =0,000.

Kenakalan remaja telah menjadi masalah yang berkembang di masyarakat dengan adanya fenomena klitih yang sangat ekstrim, termasuk di Yogyakarta. Ada banyak faktor penyebab kenakalan remaja, diantaranya kurang berkembangnya kecerdasan emosional pada remaja. Kecerdasan emosional adalah kemampuan mengelola emosi dan mengatur suasana hati, namun seringkali kurang dihargai di masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengimplementasikan program pemberdayaan masyarakat bertajuk “Intervensi Pengendalian Emosi di Panti Asuhan Santri Muhammadiyah Al-Amin” untuk mencegah kenakalan remaja. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif yang melibatkan 11 siswa berusia 13-18 tahun melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa program pemberdayaan masyarakat berhasil dilaksanakan melalui pengenalan materi dan permainan yang berfokus pada pengelolaan emosi. Para peserta menunjukkan antusiasme dan pemahaman yang baik tentang strategi manajemen emosi dan potensi positif mereka untuk mencegah kenakalan remaja. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengendalian emosi melalui psikoedukasi efektif dalam mencegah kenakalan remaja. Ini dapat membantu kaum muda mengendalikan dorongan agresif, menggunakan sumber daya positif di lingkungan dan membentuk hubungan sosial yang positif. Oleh karena itu, ada kebutuhan untuk mengevaluasi lembaga pendidikan dan mengembangkan program pencegahan kenakalan remaja yang lebih efektif untuk panti asuhan dan pesantren.

Abstract. Mother is person who very close to her child, mother always caring and pay attention, this closeness creates child's trust to his mother. Trust is what makes children feeling that the mother is the most comfortable people to share all their complaints without demeaning. This study aims to explore the child's closeness with his mother and the reason. This research used qualitative research with constructive realism method, the subject of this research are 60 students that aged 20-28 years, the subject was asked: "how close to his mother and made a reason why the subject was close to his mother?". FGD was conducted on six-person subjects, and open interviews with 1 subject, data analysis using categorization method. The results of this study indicate that there are 6 categories of reasons children believe to mothers, which are caring (20.57%), understanding (20%), sincere (18%), attention (17.67%), patient (9.67%), resilient (9.35% ) and others (4.74%). The FGD results and interviews show that the main reason for child trust is mother caring and understanding, caring is shown by always trying to meet the children needs, giving a good example, and giving the best to his family. Understanding from mother makes child tell various things and accepted.Keywords: caring; mother; trust; understanding.
