The research data was collected using survey techniques, Google forms, and interview techniques and analyzed descriptively. Based on the research, it was found that almost 62% of students did not like learning physics. The wave and optical material group is the most challenging material for students to learn, with a percentage of 46%. Students ask their peers more frequently, 52%, based on their problem-solving abilities. In contrast, the form of description questions is the least popular question for students in the learning process, with a percentage value of 9%.

Abstract

The Merdeka curriculum is the latest curriculum applied to the education system in Indonesia. This curriculum will certainly be implemented in all areas or aspects of learning including physics subjects or contexts. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the development of research related to the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in physics learning in Indonesia. This research is a quantitative study with a descriptive and evaluative approach. Research data was obtained through the Dimension.ai feature in the time span from 2015-2024. Research data were analyzed using bibliometric analysis and visualization methods using the VOSviewer application. Based on the data analysis carried out, it is known that research related to the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in physics learning has increased until 2023, then decreased in 2024. The distribution of the most research files was found in the form of articles with a total of 60 research titles. With these findings, it is clear that the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in physics learning is still very minimal so that various studies related to this topic become reference opportunities to be applied and carried out so that they are able to represent the main objectives of implementing the Merdeka curriculum in physics learning

Abstract

Abstract     This study aims to regenerate and increase students' learning motivation after experiencing a long learning process from home due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic through Training for Leaders and Herbalists (TRALIS). This study uses a qualitative approach, namely the type of field research (Field Research) by focusing on the observation method. The object of this research is all students of class XII in the Department of Religion at Madrasah Aliyah Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela with a total of 31 students. Based on the activities that have been carried out, Training for Leaders and Herbalists (TRALIS) is one form of positive activity that is very important given to students to revive enthusiasm for participating in teaching and learning activities in madrasas. This activity provides many new changes for students during the learning process including students having a strong sense of desire to participate in every activity carried out, increasing self-confidence which is seen through the attitude of students who are not afraid to appear in front of the class and express opinions during the class discussion process.   Keywords: Post COVID-19 Pandemic, Learning motivation, Training for Leaders and Herbalists (TRALIS)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of understanding of basic Biology concepts among grade XI MIPA students at MA Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela, particularly on the topic of Plant and Animal Tissues. The background of this research arises from the low level of students’ conceptual understanding in Biology, which often leads them to rely on memorization rather than meaningful comprehension. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through a test consisting of 15 multiple-choice questions and 5 essay questions, then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the highest student score was 52.0, the lowest was 16.0, and the average was 31.2, indicating that students’ understanding of tissue concepts remains low. Factors contributing to this low understanding include limited learning resources that rely solely on textbooks, lack of reading and reviewing activities, the teacher’s teaching methods, and individual differences in students’ abilities to grasp concepts. This study is expected to serve as a reference for Biology teachers in designing more effective learning strategies to enhance students’ conceptual understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the factors influencing students’ motivation in learning English and explain how these factors affect it at MA Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela, Mataram. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected from tenth-grade students through classroom observations, open-ended questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews. The findings revealed that a combination of intrinsic and extrinsic factors influences students’ motivation. Intrinsic factors include students’ awareness of the importance of English, personal goals, interest, and self-regulation strategies, which help them stay motivated despite difficulties. Extrinsic factors involve teachers’ roles, teaching methods, family support, peer influence, evaluation systems, and the utilization of media outside the class. Teachers’ interactive and enjoyable teaching styles were found to be the most influential in enhancing students’ enthusiasm, while excessive workload and strict attitudes decreased motivation. The study concludes that the dynamic interaction between internal drives and external support shapes English learning motivation

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the use of digital teaching materials can be a solution to the limitations of package books in learning moral beliefs at MA Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects of this study consist of teachers of moral beliefs and several students who are directly involved in the learning process based on digital teaching materials. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results of the study show that the use of digital teaching materials has a positive influence on increasing the effectiveness of learning moral beliefs. Teachers are able to use technology as an auxiliary medium to deliver material in a more interesting, efficient, and interactive manner. Students feel more motivated and understand the material easily because the digital teaching materials are equipped with supportive visual, audio, and video displays. The obstacles faced include limited internet networks, devices, and the level of digital literacy, but they can be overcome through the support of madrasah facilities and training for teachers. Thus, the use of digital teaching materials has proven to be an effective solution in overcoming the limitations of package books, and is able to create learning moral beliefs that are more interesting, meaningful, and in accordance with technological developments, without reducing the Islamic spiritual values contained in it
