Abstract

Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui laboratorium virtual atau yang biasa disebut dengan V-lab sebagai suatu media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu peserta didikdalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dalam proses pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitafif dengan teknik analisis induktif berupa pengumpulan data triangulasi, dimana teknik pengumpulan data yang bersifat menggabungkan dari berbagai teknik pengumpulan data dan sumber data yang telah ada. Data dikumpulkan melalui kegiatan kajian pustaka dari beberapa sumber, seperti buku teks dan jurnal terakreditasi. Berdasarkan kajian pustaka dapat disimpulkan bahwa V-lab merupakan suatu media berbasis komputer yang berisi simulasi kegiatan di laboratorium. Jenis V-lab berkembang sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman. V-lab juga mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran di tingkat sekolah dan perguruan tinggi dan V-lab juga memiliki kelebihan yang dapat membantu dalam proses pembelajaran dan disamping itu memiliki beberapa kelemahan

Abstract

Learning physics is of course a part of science and should be able to facilitate students to do lab sessions or experiments to prove the concepts learned. One of them relates to dynamic electricity at the secondary level. However, there are still many schools that do not have practical tools that can assist students in learning dynamic electricity equipment. Therefore, the writing of this article is to explain the process of making a simple KIT dynamic electrical circuit as the final product in the science practicum course. The process to create this KIT consists of three stages, namely preparation, implementation and testing. Based on the work carried out, this appears 1). The process of making a dynamic electrical circuit KIT is divided into two parts, namely making tool sets and storage boxes, and 2). Practical activities that can use this electrical circuit KIT include measuring the size of GGL on the battery, measuring the voltage and electrical current, as well as series and parallel circuits

Abstract

Nyirih tradition is one of popular traditions in Indonesia, a country with a diverse ethnic groups, cultures, and languages. The traditions are potential to be explored and used as contextual learning materials. This research aims to analyze the relationship between science (physics, biology, and chemistry) on the use of Betel leaf in the Nyirih tradition. This research used an ethnoscience approach, an approach which raises various cultures in a society to become a science learning topic, so that it would be easier for students to integrate various material in science learning with the real-life  contexts. It was a qualitative research using the study literature type which consists of several steps, namely: (1) determining the topic, (2) gathering materials as references, (3) making an introduction, (4) determining the method, (5) discussing the findings, and (6) making a conclusion. The results suggest that the use of Betel leaf in Nyirih tradition could become an interesting topic in explaining several concepts in science.

Abstract

This study aims to describe student responses and learning outcomes related to the re-implementation of face-to-face learning policies to overcome learning loss conditions. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research with field research methods, namely collecting data directly from the research site. The sample in this study was 30 students at Madrasah Aliyah Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela who represented each department (Science and Religion) from grades 10 to 12. The research data obtained consisted of two forms, namely student response data (using a questionnaire) and result from data student learning (using the student's final grade score average). Based on the problems and discussion, it can be seen that the student's response to the re-enactment of face-to-face learning in class is quite good when compared to using an online learning system (learning from home). This is also supported by student learning outcomes using the face-to-face learning system in madrasas that have a higher final average score than during the online learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between learning styles and critical thinking skills in learning gas kinetic theory. This type of research is pre-experimental with a level 3 factorial design that uses three classes to be sampled, namely XI IPA 1, XI IPA 2, and XI IPA 3 in SMAN 7 Mataram. The learning style data collection technique used a questionnaire, while the critical thinking skill data used a multiple-choice test and description. The data obtained were analyzed using two-way ANOVA assisted by IBM SPSS Statistics 21. Based on the analysis obtained an F value of 0.03 <0.05, which illustrates a relationship between learning styles and students' critical thinking skills on learning kinetic theory of gases.

Abstract

Abstrak: Perkembangan dunia teknologi dan informasi yang semakin pesat dapat memberikan alternatif bagi pendidik untuk menggunakan berbagai media pembelajaran salah satunya yaitu Physics Education and Technology (PhET). Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk menjelaskan tentang 1). Efektivitas penerapan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika, 2) Strategi penerapan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika, serta 3) Kelebihan dan kekurangan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berdasarkan filosofi post positivisme dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tri-anggulasi (gabungan), yaitu penelitian kepustakaan melalui pengumpulan data, terutama data verbal seperti buku, artikel, catatan, dan berbagai literatur ilmiah lainnya. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis secara induktif. Berdasarkan hasil tinjauan pustaka, analisis data, dan diskusi dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1). Media simulasi PhET secara efektif digunakan untuk membantu guru dan siswa dalam mempelajari konsep fisika, 2) media simulasi PhET sangat baik dikombinasikan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri, dan 3) media simulasi PhET memiliki keuntungan yaitu efektif dalam menjelaskan konsep fisika yang sifatnya abstrak, sedangkan kekurangannya adalah bahwa implementasi di sekolah sangat tergantung pada unit komputer yang tersedia.Kata kunci: Simulasi Interaktif PhET, Inkuiri Terbimbing, Pembelajaran FisikaAbstract: The rapid development of technology and information world can provide an alternative for educators to use various learning media, one of which is Physics Education and Technology (PhET). The purpose of this review is to explain 1). The effectiveness of the application of PhET simulation media in the physics learning process, 2) The strategy of applying the PhET simulation media in the physics learning process, and 3) The anvantages and disanvantages of the PhET simulation media in the physics learning process. The writing of this article uses a qualitative method based on a post positivisme philosophy with data collection techniques in the form of tri-anggulation (combined), namely library research through data collection, especially verbal data such as books, articles, notes, and various other scientific literature. The data collected is then analyzed inductively. Based on the results of literature review, data analysis, and discussion it can be concluded that 1). PhET simulation media are effectively used to help teachers and students in learning physics concepts, 2) PhET simulation media are very well combined with inquiry learning models, and 3) PhET simulation media has the advantages of being effective in explaining abstract physical concepts, while the disadvantages is that the implementation in schools is very dependent on the computer units available.Keywords: PhET Interactive Simulations, Guided Inquiry, Physics Learning

Abstract

Pandemi Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) saat ini telah menjadi salah satu tantangan global yang melampaui batas-batas wilayah, politik, ideologis, agama, budaya, dan akademik. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini untuk memberikan gambaran terkait proses pencegahan penyebaran COVID-19  melalui inaktivasi virus dalam kajian kinetika, termodinamika, dan kesetimbangan kimia. Metode penulisan artikel menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan post-positivistik yang terdiri dari 1) menentukan topik, 2) mengumpulkan bahan sebagai referensi, 3) membuat pendahuluan, 4) menentukan metode; 5) membuat pembahasan;  dan 6) menarik kesimpulan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan pembahasan diperoleh bahwa satu bentuk pencegahan penyebaran COVID-19 adalah dengan cara inaktivasi virus. Bentuk pencegahan tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan tetap memperhatikan protokol kesehatan seperti menggunakan masker, menjaga jarak, dan mencuci tangan pada air yang mengalir.Kata kunci: Inaktivasi Virus, COVID-19, Kinetika, Termodinamika, Kesetimbangan.

Abstract

Schools become the real and best environment for students as prospective teachers to gain various experiences. This condition is to maximize and test various learning theories that exist during college at university. The purpose of this activity is to assist final year students from the Mandalika Mataram University of Education in participating in the Preschool Environmental Introduction program at MA Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela. Mentoring activities are carried out through three stages, including preparation, implementation, and evaluation. This activity was attended by 8 students who are currently in their final semester. The results of this activity show that the mentoring process really helps students in getting to know various things related to the school environment. In addition to students, this activity also provides more experience for accompanying teachers to be able to transfer knowledge and experience that they have previously had to students as future teacher candidates

Abstract

Pendidikan pada Abad ke-21 menekankan bahwa proses pembelajaran harus berorientasi pada peserta didik. Orientasi tersebut ditujukan untuk melatih, meningkatkan, dan membiasakan keterampilan Abad ke-21 bagi peserta didik seperti berpikir kritis (Critical Thinking), kreatifitas (Creativity), kerjasama (Colaboration), komunikasi (Comunication), dan berbasis teknologi. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan terkait integrasi Pendekatan Re-SEAT (Religion, Science, Engineering, Art, and Technology) dalam proses pembelajaran fisika pada Abad ke-21. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan data dikumpulkan melalui proses observasi dan dokumentasi serta dianalisis secara derkripsi. Berdasarkan data yang sudah diperoleh dan dianalisis diperoleh bahwa pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Re-SEAT (Religion, Science, Engineering, Art, dan Technology) dapat digunakan oleh guru sebagai alternatif dalam mengintegrasikan berbagai pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam satu proses pembelajaran. Hal tersebut terlihat dari tingkat partisipasi peserta didik yang tinggi dalam setiap tahapan pembelajaran

Abstract

School Fields Introduction (SFI) is one of the courses that aims to provide an overview or initial introduction to students regarding how to be a good teacher. This study aims to determine the professionalism of SFI students in terms of attendance levels during the SFI activity process. The method used in this research is descriptive and qualitative and involves observation, interviews, and direct viewing of data in the field. The subjects in this study were 8 SFI students and 1 teacher coordinator from MA Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela. Data obtained through the processes of observation and interviews were analyzed descriptively in the form of paragraphs. Based on the research that has been done, it is found that the level of student professionalism in terms of attendance is still very minimal, with a percentage of 38%, or only 3 out of 8 students. In addition, it was found that the level of attendance had a good correlation with the acquisition of the final grades of students, where the higher the level of attendance, the higher the value obtained.
