Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed various aspects of human life today, especially in the world of education. This pandemic era requires all elements of education to adapt in carrying out learning activities at the elementary, junior high, high school up to university levels. This study aims to review the strategy for implementing KKN for STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, community service activities regarding optimization strategies for the implementation of KKN are considered important for field supervisors. The method used in the implementation of community service is the lecture and discussion method. Activities are carried out in the following stages: 1) preparation of the required documents, 2) implementation of activities, and 3) evaluation of the achievement of objectives. The results of this activity are as follows: 1) preparation of required documents, 2) implementation of activities, and 3) evaluation of goal achievement. The results of this activity are as follows: 1) the required documents are completed according to plan, 2) the activity is attended by all KKN DPLs, and 3) KKN DPLs are very enthusiastic in receiving an explanation of the concept of optimizing the implementation of KKN and 4) KKN DPL gain knowledge about strategies for optimizing the implementation of STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo KKN during the Covid 19 period.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan pada peserta didik kelas IV SDN 62/II Padang Lalang, yang terdapat dari temuan awal bahwa capaian pembelajaran IPAS masih rendah. Nilai rata-rata kelas tercatat 67, lebih rendah dari standar KKTP sekolah yang ditetapkan minimal 75. Untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut, dipilih penerapan model pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning dengan tujuan menelaah efektivitasnya dalam memperbaiki proses maupun hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan desain PTK yang terdiri atas dua siklus, masing-masing mencakup dua kali pertemuan. Tahapan kegiatan dalam setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, implementasi, observasi, serta refleksi. Data diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan aktivitas belajar dan kinerja pendidik, serta dari hasil tes yang diberikan kepada 15 siswa pada semester II tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan baik pada aspek proses maupun hasil belajar. Aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat dari 63,34% pada siklus I menjadi 86,67% pada siklus II. Kinerja guru juga menunjukkan perkembangan serupa, yakni dari 69,23% menjadi 92,30%. Sementara itu, hasil tes peserta didik yang semula 40% pada siklus I meningkat hingga 80% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model Guided Discovery Learning terbukti efektif dalam peningkatan kualitas proses pembelajaran sekaligus hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV SDN 62/II Padang Lalang

Abstract

Workshop on writing scientific articles to improve teachers' professional competence at UPT SDN 03 Simpang. The aim of this activity is (1) to provide (sharing) training and assist elementary school teachers in writing scientific articles appropriately and (2) to increase insight and improve the skills of elementary school teachers in writing scientific articles and publishing them in scientific journals. This community service activity was carried out for UPT SDN 03 Simpang teachers. There were 12 participants in the activity. The methods used in this training activity are lectures and discussions, guidance and training, and consultation. Lecture and discussion methods convey information about scientific articles, theories about scientific articles, their benefits, and theories about writing them. Guidance and training methods are used to follow up to finalize the material presented in lectures and discussions. It is hoped that with direct practice, participants will be more skilled at writing scientific articles. The consultation method is used as a means of guidance in the field if they still experience difficulties in writing scientific articles. This training activity was carried out several times, which can provide input and benefits, including (1) elementary school teachers receive training and assistance in writing scientific articles and matters related to scientific articles, and (2) insight and skills elementary school teachers improved in writing scientific articles.

Abstract

Evaluation tools must reflect the learning objectives in the curriculum so that evaluation results provide an accurate picture of student achievement. This workshop aims to provide training in developing learning evaluation instruments in elementary schools. Learning instruments are currently very much needed by students because, with these learning instruments, they can measure the level of students' liking for subjects. The instrument that will be developed contains questions of factual knowledge based on a grid of essential competencies, assessment indicators, and cognitive domains, the learning themes for class IV students. Teachers and prospective teachers are in the training for developing learning instruments in elementary schools. PKM activities are carried out synchronously (virtually) or asynchronously at different places and times using a service learning approach. The service results show that the material meets the needs of elementary school teachers to improve their professionalism, especially in making learning instruments.

Abstract

Studi ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Course Review Horay (CRH) berbasis media Ludo Math Game dalam pembelajaran matematika siswa fase C (kelas V) SD Negeri 95/II Muara Bungo, penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Experimental Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian ini ada 51 siswa yang terbagi dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, data yang dikumpulkan melalui tes pilihan ganda pada pre-test dan post-test, hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar eksperimen sebesar 95 dan kelas kontrol sebesa 54. Uji mann-Whitney menunjukkan p-value sebesar 0,012 (kelas eksperimen) dan 0,001 (kelas kontrol), lebih kecil dari 0,05. Sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran Course Review Horay (CRH) berbasis media Ludo Math Game efektif meningkakan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Model ini direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran khususnya pada materi bilangan pecahan di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of mathematics in class IV. SD N 65 / II river bastard. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of mathematics learning processes and outcomes using the method Course Review Horay (CRH) in class IV. SD N 65 / II river bangsat pelepat sub-district”. This research is a type of classroom action research conducted with two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. each cycle consists of planning,implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results of data analysis show that the use of the method Course Review Horay (CRH) can improve the process and learning outcomes of mathematics class students class IV. SD N 65 / II river bangsat. details of the results of teacher observations in the first cycle with an average teacher activity of 96.99%. In the second cycle the average teacher activity was the same at 96.99% with a very good category. The results of observations of students in the first cycle data analysis of student activity of students amounted to 62.94% with good criteria, increased to 86.35% in the second cycle with very good criteria. In the first cycle obtained an average value of student learning outcomes of 83.63% increased to 96.36% in the second cycle. while the classical completeness in the first cycle of 86.36% increased to 95.45% in the second cycle. It was concluded that the use of the method Course Review Horay (CRH) can improve the process and learning outcomes of mathematics.

Abstract

This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in third-grade students at Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Muara Bungo. The background of the study was the low reading-aloud ability of students, with an average initial score of 68, still below the school's minimum completion standard of 75. To address this problem, the Picture and Picture learning model was used with the aim of improving students' reading-aloud skills, particularly on weather topics. The study was conducted in two cycles, each encompassing planning, action, observation, and reflection. Sixteen students participated. Data collected consisted of qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data were obtained through observations of the model's implementation and students' reading-aloud activities. Quantitative data came from the results of students' reading-aloud tests. The results showed that the Picture and Picture model was implemented effectively. Students' reading-aloud test scores improved from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, student completion was 56%, increasing to 87% in cycle II, exceeding the completion standard. This improvement demonstrates that the Picture and Picture model is effective in improving students' reading aloud abilities. This model has also been shown to increase student engagement and focus during the learning process, thus helping them achieve optimal reading aloud skills.

Abstract

There are some factors affect the low result of learning Math, one of them is the students are not serious in studying, and the students' activity in learning is still less. The group works given by the teacher are only done by the smart students in the group, while the other group members do not do anything. To overcome this problem, one of the models that can be implemented is the cooperative learning using Snowball Throwing with the crossword puzzle.After conducting the observation during the class by implementing the cooperative learning using snowball throwing and crossword puzzle, it was found that there was an improvement of learning activity at the experiment classroom.Based on the result from both of experiment and control groups, after doing the hypothesis test at α = 0,05, it was found and . because t > t , so the hypothesis was proved that the result of studying at the group with the implementation of cooperative learning using snowball and crossword puzzle is better than the group with a conventional way.

Abstract

Hasil belajar mahasiswa terlihat rendah. Ini merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan mahasiswa terhadap konsep matematika juga masih rendah. Masalah ini diperkirakan karena pembelajaran masih terpusat pada dosen,untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut yaitu dengan melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan pembelajaran aktif tipe Giving Question and Getting Answer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada pembelajaran statistik dengan menerapkan pembelajaran aktif tipe Giving Question and Getting Answer lebih baik dari pada pemahaman konsep mahasiswa dengan pembelajaran konvensinal. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan random subjek. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa STKIP. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah secara acak,terpilih kelas sampel Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes akhir belajar dalam bentuk essay. Data diperoleh di analisis dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa kelas yang mendapat perlakuan adalah 77,14 lebih tinggi dan persentase tiap-tiap indikator pemahaman konsep pada kelas lebih tinggi. Dari hasil uji statistik t diperoleh thitung=2,44 dan ttabel=1,645, sehingga thitung > ttabel dan dari software MINITAB diperoleh p-value=0.010. Terlihat bahwa p-value lebih kecil dari pada , dapat disimpulkan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran aktif tipe Giving Question and Getting Answer lebih baik.
