Abstract

The Joyfull Learning Method is a revolutionary approach in the world of early childhood education that emphasizes learning through positive experiences, creativity and fun interactions. This research evaluates the effectiveness of the Joyfull Learning method in increasing the literacy of children aged 4-6 years in Tadika Mysarah Padang Serai, Kedah. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which includes observations over a 1 month period, interviews with teachers and parents, as well as analysis of curriculum materials used in the Joyfull Learning method. The research results show that the Joyfull Learning method is effective in creating a learning environment that stimulates children's interest and creativity. During the observation period, children responded positively, demonstrated high levels of participation in literacy activities, and demonstrated an increase in interest in learning to read and write. The conclusion of this research is that the Joyfull Learning method is a very effective tool in increasing the literacy of children aged 4-6 years in Tadika Mysarah Padang Serai.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the legal learning strategies and models for early childhood education which were implemented at RA Kawakibi Deli Serdang . This research uses a qualitative case study method, uses the Miles Hubberman model analysis technique. This research was conducted at RA Kawakibi Deli Serdang . The focus of this research is on models of learning legal aspects for young children, with the hope of internalizing and increasing understanding of legal values from an early age, so that young children are able to implement legal values both in the family , school and community environments, as quoted by Zeece states that the development of children's sensitivity and understanding of what other people think, feel and do is important for the effective functioning of their social world. This understanding is able to enable children to recognize, organize and explain, and sometimes predict, the behavior of other people ( Zeece , 2000). Based on research conducted, the legal learning model for early childhood is: (1) introducing law in the simplest way, (2) integrated with learning in other aspects, (3) learning in a contextual way. Meanwhile, the influencing factors are: (1) teachers' knowledge of the law, (2) parents' knowledge of the law, and (3) capacity and ability to be responsible for the law.

Abstract

This article discusses comparisons from a historical perspective, namely R.A. Kartini as a female character who comes from Indonesia with the female character Choi Yong-shin who comes from Korea. The research results show that the two figures have similarities and differences. Kartini was born into a Javanese aristocratic family, she studied at a European elementary school. After completing her education, Kartini wrote many of her thoughts in the form of letters containing the idea of freedom for Javanese people who had a different social status than hers. Because of her persistence in expressing freedom, Kartini's name was immortalized in Indonesia as a national figure. Choi Yong-shin also received Western education at the American Missionary School in Korea and had the status of a family member. After completing his education, Choi Yong-shin devoted his knowledge to teaching children in Saemgol Village. Choi Yong-shin also had the idea of equality, including that women and men have the same rights and responsibilities to fight for goodness, Choi Yong-shin's name was also immortalized in Korea nationally.

Abstract

Kota Rantang, located in North Sumatra, is rich in Islamic history and cultural heritage in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the existence of Islamic archaeological remains in Kota Rantang and their implications for understanding Indonesian history and culture. The research questions focus on identifying the types of Islamic archaeological remains in this area and how these artifacts provide insight into the development of Islam in Indonesia. The methodology employs a historical approach combined with archaeological techniques, collecting data from sites such as tomb complexes, mosque ruins, and everyday artifacts like statue fragments, jewelry, and pottery. The findings indicate that these remains are crucial for uncovering the past lives of the community and the role of Islam in shaping local cultural identity. In conclusion, the archaeological remains in Kota Rantang not only enrich our understanding of Islamic history in Indonesia but also strengthen the nation's cultural identity.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian lokal melalui pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM). Metode pengabdian yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi dan pelatihan praktis, di mana mahasiswa memberikan edukasi tentang pengembangan produk dan branding. Kegiatan selama 14 hari ini melibatkan masyarakat setempat dalam sosialisasi pembuatan sabun cuci piring, pemasaran produk, serta pelatihan pembuatan kue Karas. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas UMKM dalam pemasaran dan pengenalan produk. Selain itu, terdapat perbaikan dalam kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya gizi anak dan bahaya narkoba. Keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dan kerjasama dengan pihak desa menjadi kunci keberhasilan program ini. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa PENGABDIAN tidak hanya berkontribusi pada pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal tetapi juga memperkuat peran mahasiswa dalam pengembangan masyarakat. Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Peningkatan kemampuan Berpikuir Kritis Siswa Kelas 6 SD dengan Pemanfaatan Media Water Cycle Box. Latar belakang penelitian ini hasil observasi yaitu rendahnya keterampilan berpikir siswa yang mengakibatkan rendah pula hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas pengembangan media water cycle box pada pembelajaran kelas VI SD Negeri 2 Krasak. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan tipe ADDIE. Setelah dilakukan implementasi produk pengembangan diperoleh data bahwa sebelum penerapan produk pengembangan, skor observasi kemampuan berpikir kritis sebanyak 10 peserta didik (100%) yang berada di kelas eksperimen memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang baik. Setelah diterapkan produk pengembangan, dari  9 (90%) peserta didik skor observasi kemampuan berpikir kritis baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian di atas dan pembahasan yang telah diuraikan sebelumnya, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pengembangan implementasi pembelajaran dengan Water Cycle Box telah berhasil karena telah mencapai target belajar yaitu 80% kelas pada kelas eksperimen siswa memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis yang baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze parenting patterns and their impact on the development of early childhood social attitudes. This research is qualitative research using a case study design in class B Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Al-Is Syah Hakim Medan, on Jl. Karya Jaya, North Sumatra. This study's primary informants are the parents of students who carry out their family environment care. Data collection techniques were using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was through stages developed by Miles and Huberman. Checking the validity of the user data was through the triangulation of sources and techniques. This study indicated that the parenting patterns of early childhood parents of Class B RA Al-Is Syah Hakim Medan consist of three styles, i.e., permissive, authoritarian, and democratic parenting. The most dominant style of parenting parents as permissive parenting. Permissive parenting pattern has implications for the tendency of children to have poor social attitudes. Authoritarian parenting pattern has consequences for the tendency of children to have anti-social attitudes. The style of democratic parenting has implications for the tendency of children to have prosocial attitudes.

Abstract

Implementation of Real Work Lectures is one manifestation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely empowerment and community service. On this occasion the author carried out Real Work Lecture activities in Tanjung Gusta Village with the main program headline being the socialization of financial literacy to micro, small and medium business actors, especially fish cracker or jangek cracker business actors. The approach used consists of three methods, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The main work program implemented was visiting business actors making skin crackers to socialize about financial literacy and digital promotion. Then the author also held two supporting work programs, namely the socialization of financial literacy education and sharia investment, the main focus of which was on education about investment and financial management and the second was the implementation economic market day for elementary school students with the aim of cultivating students' talents and interests in the field of entrepreneurship. Both the main and supporting work programs were carried out well and without significant obstacles due to support from Tanjung Gusta Village officials, the community and fellow students who worked together to make the work program successful.

Abstract

Nowadays, Islam is often considered as a radical teaching and embraced by extreme people, especially because of the teaching of jihad. So to straighten out this view, an in-depth study is needed that discusses the correct concept of jihad in Islam, and among the scholars who always try to do this is Al-Buthy. For this reason, the question of this research will answer how the concept of jihad according to Al-Buthy and how it is actualized in modern times. This research is qualitative research and uses normative juridical methods with a conceptual approach. The results of this study indicate that in the book al Jihad fi al Islam; Kaifa Nafhamuhu wa Kaifa Numarisuhu, Al-Buthy understands the meaning and nature of jihad as an oral da'wah to spread and uphold the sentence of Allah. The explanation is that every method or method carried out orally using any media is included in the act of jihad. This is the essence of jihad that was always carried out by the Prophet from the beginning of his mission as a Messenger until his death. Then regarding jihad in the sense of war, Al-Buthy interpreted the concept of Dar al-Islam. According to him, Dar al-Islam is an Islamic State, both those that were once under the Islamic caliphate and those that have now become fragmentary states. The concept of Dar al-Islam Al-Buthy is considered more realistic and contemporary. In contrast to the concept of Dar al-Islam promoted by some Muslim groups today, where they make the implementation of Islamic sharia in a kaffah as an absolute requirement of a country called Dar al-Islam. If not then the country is legitimately fought, the leader may be forcibly deposed, and even more extreme the country is considered a field of jihad war. So that the consequences of this concept are chaos and bloodshed as is happening now. For this reason, Al-Buthy emphasized the need to understand Islam by referring to the Islamic sciences inherited from the scholars, not from Islamic thought that developed following the times. Al-Buthy's method is considered moderate and more realistic to be actualized in modern times.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan digital marketing sebagai sarana pengembangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Gongsol, Kabupaten Karo, Sumatera Utara. Pelaku UMKM di desa ini umumnya masih menggunakan metode pemasaran tradisional yang terbatas, sehingga perlu pengenalan terhadap digital marketing untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan mengenai penggunaan media sosial dan platform e-commerce sebagai sarana pemasaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pelaku UMKM dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk memasarkan produk mereka, meskipun masih ada kendala dalam hal akses internet dan literasi digital. Dengan adanya dukungan lebih lanjut, diharapkan pelaku UMKM dapat terus mengembangkan kemampuan pemasaran digital mereka sehingga meningkatkan daya saing dan kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat.
