Abstract

Data leakage in machine learning classification often leads to overfitting, inflated performance estimates, and poor reproducibility, which can undermine the reliability of deployed models and incur industrial losses. This paper addresses the leakage problem by proposing an integrated machine learning pipeline that strictly isolates training and evaluation processes across preprocessing, feature transformation, and model optimization stages. Experiments are conducted on the Titanic passenger survival dataset, where exploratory data analysis identifies data quality issues, followed by stratified train-test splitting to preserve class distribution. All preprocessing steps, including missing value imputation, categorical encoding, and feature scaling, are applied exclusively to the training data using a ColumnTransformer embedded within a unified Pipeline. A K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) classifier is employed, with hyperparameters optimized via GridSearchCV and 3-fold cross-validation. Experimental results show that a baseline model without leakage control achieves only 72.62% test accuracy and exhibits a substantial overfitting gap. In contrast, the proposed pipeline-based approach improves generalization, achieving 78.21% test accuracy with an optimal configuration of k = 29 and Manhattan distance while significantly reducing overfitting. The main contribution of this work is the formulation of a reproducible, leakage-aware pipeline guideline that ensures unbiased evaluation and reliable generalization in classification tasks, providing practical methodological insights for both academic research and real-world machine learning applications.

Abstract

Digital transformation brings changes to the business world by increasing efficiency, convenience, security, certainty and operational speed. CV Elang Java Mandiri experienced the positive impact of this by creating software to increase operational efficiency. However, the use of direct communication between the desktop application and the database causes vulnerabilities. The lack of a bridge between the desktop application and the database also indicates a lack of flexibility when adding other applications. Ransomware attacks on desktop applications cause losses and limitations in development. This research focuses on backend updates that use API as an integrator with the API-First method. OpenAPI standards and OWASP security principles are used to increase resilience against security threats. These steps were tested with OWASP ZAP and http test. The goal is to provide solutions to company problems, meet the need for more secure applications, and make application development easier.

Abstract

Desa Pasirwaru merupakan desa dengan jumlah penduduk 5.511 jiwa dan memiliki program unggulan di bidang kesehatan yaitu posyandu. Posyandu Anggrek I adalah posyandu di Desa Pasirwaru yang memiliki anggota 60 balita, 10 ibu hamil. Adapun peranan dari posyandu ini yaitu untuk memberdayakan, memberikan kemudahaan layanan kesehatan, penyuluhan untuk mengatasi stunting dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi bagi ibu hamil, memberikan ASI dan MPASI, akses air bersih, dan memantau pertumbuhan balita di posyandu. Kegiatan pemantauan pertumbuhan balita, dan ibu hamil di posyandu harus didukung oleh data yang lengkap dan akurat dari hasil setiap kegiatan posyandu. Adapun laporan data balita, ibu hamil saat ini di Posyandu Anggrek I masih menggunakan buku tulis. Hal tersebut menyebabkan beberapa permasalahan seperti buku mudah rusak, hilang, ketidak sesuaian dan ketidak akuratan pelaporan, duplikasi data , tidak konsisten, hak akses data yang tidak terkondisikan, media penyimpanan bersifat sementara, sulit dilakukan pengolahan data untuk menghasilkan informasi penting tentang gambaran kondisi balita dan ibu hamil di lingkungan posyandu. Oleh karena itu posyandu harus memiliki Sistem Informasi Posyandu untuk pelaporan data, pencarian data, pemantauan pertumbuhan balita dan ibu hamil yang diakses dengan mudah dan cepat sehingga memiliki keakuratan, keamanan, ketersediaan, kelengkapan data berkelanjutan dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan dengan efektif dan efesien. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu penyuluhan kesehatan dan workshop penggunaan Sistem Informasi Posyandu. Adapun hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan kesadarana akan pentingnya kesehatan, tersedianya sistem informasi posyandu yang dapat digunakan masyarakat dan kader posyandu dengan baik dan benar untuk pemantauan tumbuh kembang anak dan ibu hamil.

Abstract

Perkembangan aplikasi e-commerce di Indonesia mendorong meningkatnya jumlah ulasan pengguna pada platform Google Playstore. Ulasan tersebut mengandung informasi penting mengenai persepsi dan tingkat kepuasan pengguna terhadap layanan aplikasi. Namun, besarnya volume data ulasan menyebabkan analisis manual menjadi tidak efisien. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan otomatis berbasis Natural Language Processing (NLP) untuk mengklasifikasikan sentimen ulasan pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kinerja model IndoBERT dan K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) dalam analisis sentimen ulasan aplikasi Tokopedia di Google Playstore. Dataset yang digunakan berjumlah 12.172 ulasan pengguna yang diklasifikasikan ke dalam tiga kelas sentimen, yaitu positif, netral, dan negatif. Proses pelabelan sentimen dilakukan menggunakan kamus InSet. Evaluasi performa model dilakukan menggunakan metrik akurasi, precision, recall, dan F1-score, serta dianalisis menggunakan confusion matrix. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model IndoBERT memiliki performa yang lebih unggul dibandingkan KNN dalam seluruh metrik evaluasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model berbasis transformer lebih efektif dalam memahami konteks bahasa Indonesia pada data ulasan aplikasi.

Abstract

HKBP Perumnas Batu Onom is a Christian place of worship located on Tusam Raya Street, Perumnas-Batu Onom, Pantoan Maju, Siantar District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra. The HKBP Perumnas Batu Onom Church has been established since March 13, 1983, and has conducted numerous service activities and visits. However, the service application mechanism is still done directly at the church, which is considered less effective. Based on this issue, a solution was found by shifting the information dissemination and service mechanism to an online medium using a website. The Agile methodology was employed in designing the website, following the stages of the agile method, with data collected through observation and interviews. It was determined that integrating information dissemination and services into a website-based system provides a solution to the problem. The HKBP Perumnas Batu Onom website was successfully created using the PHP programming language and the Laravel framework. To ensure optimal results, Blackbox Testing was conducted with the congregation and church management of HKBP Perumnas Batu Onom. It was found that the HKBP Perumnas Batu Onom information website facilitates the congregation in obtaining information about worship schedules and church activities, and assists church management in managing congregation data and financial reporting.
