Abstract

This study analyzes the employee performance assessment system at the Malang Regency Transportation Office, based on observations and interviews with several employees. Performance assessments are carried out annually with quarterly evaluations by the head of the sub-division. Evaluations include employee performance, financial administration, and staffing. The assessment process involves several stages: Annual Work Plan (RKT), Performance Agreement, Employee Performance Targets (SKP), and the use of the "SIAP KERJA" Application. The RKT is prepared as an elaboration of the Agency's strategy and facilitates program evaluation. A Performance Agreement is a commitment document between leaders and subordinates related to the implementation of tasks with performance indicators. SKP includes targets that must be achieved in a certain period, measured based on quantity, quality, time, and cost. The results of this assessment are then summarized in the "SIAP KERJA" Application, which experiences technical problems such as frequent errors or maintenance. The suggested solution is to fill in daily activities regularly. This performance assessment aims to improve the integrity, accountability, transparency, and performance of the apparatus, as well as be the basis for evaluation, awards, and sanctions to employees.

Abstract

This article discusses assistance is preapring recrutmen system criteria for Demang Jaya Wonokerto cigarette factory employes. This research aims to increas effectiveness and efficiency in the employe recrutment process at the cigarette factory. The method used in this research is a case study and direct observation of the existing recrutmen process. The research result show that assistance in preparing recrutment system criteria can improve the quality of employees recruited and reduce erros in the selection process. It is hoped that the results of this research can make a positive contribution to Demang Jaya Wonokerto cigarette factory in improving employe performance and productivity.

Abstract

TThe Malang Resort Police held a Social Security and Community Service Forum (FSK) activity as a form of effort to maintain security and order ahead of the 2024 simultaneous regional elections. The activity was attended by a number of community leaders, the KPU, Bawaslu Malang Regency and all guests at the Bojana Puri building Jl. Raya Ngadilangkung Kepanjen on September 19 2024. through the activities of the Community Security and Order Silaturahmi Forum (FSK) it is hoped that it can increase synergy between the National Police, the community and all stakeholders in realizing Public Order and Order in the Malang Regency area so that it remains safe, smooth and conducive, so that the implementation of the Simultaneous Regional Elections on November 27, 2024 can run smoothly and not leave any conflict afterwards

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the literacy and numeracy understanding of students at SMP NU Sunan Giri Kepanjen through the Literacy and Numeracy Festival “Kartini Edufest”. This program integrates a descriptive qualitative approach in the analysis of literature and field data. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the activity showed an increase in student enthusiasm and participation in literacy and numeracy activities. This festival also succeeded in fostering students' entrepreneurial spirit and creativity. Although there was an increase in students' literacy and numeracy skills, there were several factors that influenced the optimization of the results. This community service activity made a positive contribution in developing student competencies and is expected to be a model for similar activities in the future.

Abstract

Data shows that until now the Indonesian population is still relatively low in terms of consuming fish compared to other animal foods. GEMARIKAN (Gerakan Memasyarakatkan Makan Ikan) is a national program launched by the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries starting in 2004 which aims to campaign for the importance of the benefits of eating fish from an early age because of the many nutritional contents contained in fish which are very important for brain growth and intelligence. This activity is themed: Socialization to Prevent Stunting with the Movement to Socialize Eating Fish. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge support about the importance of consuming fish in improving the quality of children's growth and development. The targets or targets of this activity are: Stunting families, PKK cadres, Posyandu cadres, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, young women (prospective brides). The activity was carried out on May 14, 2024 with a total of 50 counseling participants. The information provided is information about the nutritional content, benefits and importance of consuming fish. It is hoped that children and teachers can find out information about the nutritional content, benefits and importance of consuming fish. The method of implementing this activity is “Socialization” in the form of education which aims to increase understanding in the field of health and related scopes in it so as to make the school community aware of the importance of consuming fish to maintain health and healthy living. The place of implementation is the Wisata Latar Bale Desa Mulyoarjo Kecamatan Lawang. The results obtained were changes in knowledge, actions from the community about the importance of consuming fish, as well as diversification of processed fish foods.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the condition of Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School in Malang, which experienced a period of stagnation after the passing of its caregiver, resulting in the absence of resident students. Significant changes emerged following the establishment of a formal junior high school within the institution. The leadership style of the new principal attracted researchers’ attention because it successfully encouraged institutional transformation and development. This study focuses on examining the implementation and influence of the synergy between transformational and servant leadership characteristics in realizing a quality Islamic boarding school-based school at Darul Falah Integrated Junior High School Malang. The study aims to describe how transformational-servant leadership is implemented and how it contributes to improving the quality of the institution. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the principal, the Islamic boarding school caregiver, teachers, students, and parents. The findings indicate that leadership in Islamic boarding school-based educational institutions can effectively integrate transformational and servant leadership characteristics. Through this synergy, leaders are able to inspire change, serve the educational community, strengthen collaboration, and encourage sustainable institutional development, thereby improving the quality and competitiveness of the school.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of leadership style, organizational culture and work discipline on employee performance at the Malang Regency Population and Civil Registration Office. To achieve this goal, this research uses quantitative methods using multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that partially leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance, partially organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance, partially work discipline has no significant effect on employee performance, leadership style, organizational culture and work discipline have a simultaneous effect on employee performance. employee at the Malang Regency Population and Civil Registration Service

Abstract

The rapid growth of social media usage among Generation Z has significantly influenced their psychological dynamics, particularly self-esteem and mental health. This study aims to analyze the effects of social media use and social support on mental health, with self-esteem positioned as the mediating variable. A quantitative explanatory survey design was employed involving 105 respondents aged 18–25 years. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that social media use does not significantly affect either self-esteem or mental health. In contrast, social support has a significant positive effect on self-esteem, and self-esteem significantly predicts mental health. Furthermore, self-esteem acts as a significant mediator between social support and mental health, but does not mediate the relationship between social media use and mental health. These results highlight that self-esteem is a key psychological factor influencing the mental well-being of Generation Z. Therefore, strengthening self-esteem through digital literacy, supportive social environments, and appropriate psychological interventions is essential to enhance youth mental health in the digital era

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi peran Dinas Tenaga Kerja (Disnaker) Kabupaten Malang dalam memberdayakan sumber daya manusia produktif terdampak kerentanan ekonomi di Kecamatan Wonosari melalui pelatihan tata kecantikan kulit berbasis sertifikasi kompetensi. Masalah utama mitra—yang mayoritas merupakan buruh pabrik rokok dan petani tembakau musiman—adalah rendahnya diversifikasi keterampilan (skill dependency) serta tingginya risiko pengangguran. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif aktif berbasis experiential learning selama 120 jam pelajaran yang melibatkan 20 peserta usia produktif, bekerja sama dengan LPK Windi Aesthetic Academy. Program ini dinyatakan berhasil total berdasarkan capaian indikator kuantitatif riil: rata-rata nilai kognitif (teori) peserta melonjak drastis dari 48,7 (pre-test) menjadi 88,5 (post-test), sementara capaian psikomotorik (praktik teknis) melesat tajam dari nilai dasar 35,0 menjadi 92,3. Evaluasi akhir menunjukkan tingkat kehadiran peserta dan kelulusan uji kompetensi standar industri mencapai 100% mutlak kompeten. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa diversifikasi keterampilan non-pertanian sektor jasa kecantikan terbukti efektif menciptakan peluang kerja mandiri baru yang fleksibel guna memitigasi fluktuasi ekonomi rumah tangga pedesaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan minat beli sebagai variabel mediasi serta promosi sebagai variabel moderasi pada konsumen Indomaret di Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh semakin tingginya persaingan bisnis ritel modern yang menuntut perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, membangun kepercayaan konsumen, serta menerapkan strategi promosi yang efektif guna mendorong keputusan pembelian. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 113 responden yang merupakan konsumen Indomaret di Kabupaten Malang. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear dan PROCESS Macro pada SPSS untuk menguji hubungan langsung, mediasi, dan moderasi antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli (β = 0,675; p < 0,001) dan keputusan pembelian (β = 0,335; p < 0,001). Kepercayaan konsumen juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli (β = 0,703; p < 0,001) dan keputusan pembelian (β = 0,428; p < 0,001). Selain itu, minat beli berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian (β = 0,735; p < 0,001) serta terbukti memediasi hubungan antara kualitas pelayanan dan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap keputusan pembelian. Sementara itu, promosi berpengaruh positif, namun tidak mampu memoderasi hubungan minat beli terhadap keputusan pembelian secara signifikan (β = 0,026; p = 0,0507). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keputusan pembelian konsumen lebih dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pelayanan, kepercayaan konsumen, dan minat beli dibandingkan faktor promosi yang berperan sebagai faktor pendukung.
