Abstract

This research focuses on the utilization of Online Queue Systems to enhance the efficiency of public service management at the Immigration Office Class I TPI Surabaya. The implementation of this system is expected to address various issues related to conventional queues, such as long waiting times and customer discomfort. However, there are several aspects that still need to be examined, considering that the success of a public service system highly depends on effective queue management, procedure quality, and the readiness of personnel and supporting policies. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of the Online Queue System on service quality and efficiency, identify existing challenges, and provide recommendations for system optimization. The research method used in this study is qualitative, with data collection conducted through direct observation, interviews, and document analysis related to the queue system at the immigration office. The findings show that the implementation of the Online Queue System has improved the efficiency and quality of public services, with public satisfaction reaching around 70%. Nonetheless, there is a need for further improvement in several aspects, such as queue management, information transparency, and waiting time. Additionally, technical readiness and supporting policies remain critical concerns, as there is still room to enhance personnel capacity and optimize policies to make the system more effective. The conclusion of this research emphasizes that while the Online Queue System has had a positive impact, several aspects still require attention and improvement to achieve higher efficiency. This research recommends several strategic steps, including increasing system capacity to handle surges in applicants, developing policies to support system operations, providing technical training for personnel, and conducting wider outreach to the public.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the residency permit monitoring policy by Immigration Class 1 TPI Surabaya regarding violations of residency permits for visit visa subjects during the period of 2019-2022. The policy aims to enforce regulations concerning the presence of foreign nationals in Indonesia. However, its implementation faces various challenges, particularly in terms of communication, bureaucratic structure, resources, and the disposition or attitude of policy implementers. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the policy and identify areas requiring improvement to enhance monitoring performance. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with officers from Immigration Class 1 TPI Surabaya and an analysis of documents related to the policy and its implementation. The findings reveal that the effectiveness of inter-unit communication in conveying policy information only reaches 75%, leading to delays in information dissemination and field coordination. Additionally, a rigid and inefficient bureaucratic structure causes 70% of monitoring processes to experience obstacles. Resource limitations, both in terms of personnel and technological facilities, also hinder implementation, with only 65% of required resources available. The implementers' disposition, achieving only about 68%, indicates a lack of commitment and consistency in executing the policy. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of the residency permit monitoring policy at Immigration Class 1 TPI Surabaya requires significant improvements in communication, bureaucratic structure, resources, and implementers' disposition. Recommendations include increasing personnel numbers, updating monitoring technology, and conducting regular training to enhance the attitude and competence of policy implementers.

Abstract

The development of information technology has driven the transformation of public services, including in the immigration sector, which is now transitioning to digitalization to improve efficiency. One of the innovations introduced is the M-Paspor application, which allows the public to apply for passports online to minimize classic issues such as long queues and bureaucratic inefficiencies. This study aims to evaluate the quality of passport services through the M-Paspor application at the Immigration Office Class I Special TPI Surabaya and identify challenges and opportunities in simplifying public services. The research employs a qualitative method to explore the perceptions and experiences of the public and immigration officers regarding the use of the M-Paspor application. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with passport applicants and immigration officers, as well as direct observations of service processes at the immigration office. The evaluation focuses on five dimensions of service quality: reliability, assurance, tangibles, empathy, and responsiveness, to provide a comprehensive understanding of the application's effectiveness in simplifying public services. The findings indicate that although the M-Paspor application has reduced some bureaucratic issues, several challenges remain, particularly concerning system reliability and the public's ability to use technology. Some users continue to face technical difficulties, such as frequent server errors, rapidly filled service quotas, and data entry errors that require them to repeat the registration process. The study concludes that while the M-Paspor application holds great potential to improve passport service quality, significant improvements in system stability, user education, and technological infrastructure are needed to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

The Higher Education Community Service Program for Regions (PM-UPUD) aims to optimize the batik creative industry in Probolinggo City through the application of technological innovations. Target partners include Batik Wahyulatri and Poerwa Batik, which face problems such as limited raw material planning, motif and coloring quality, drying technology, and digital marketing strategies. The implementation methods include socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation. The technologies applied include Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL), infrared dry room machines, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), synthetic coloring techniques, and digital marketing. The program results showed significant improvements: 40% in production capacity, 30% in dyeing quality, 20% in sales turnover for partner 1 and 25% for partner 2, as well as 30% and 36% in profits, respectively. This program supports ASTA CITA number 3 and SDGs number 8 on decent work and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengkaji dampak strategi pemasaran TikTok serta tingkat kepercayaan konsumen dalam meningkatkan kesadaran merek produk UMKM Keripik Tempe Ngawi. Evolusi platform media sosial, terutama TikTok, menciptakan kesempatan strategis bagi pelaku UMKM untuk mengekspansi jangkauan promosi dan membangun pengenalan merek dengan lebih optimal. Kepercayaan konsumen juga berperan esensial dalam mengkonsolidasikan memori dan identifikasi merek dalam persepsi konsumen. Riset ini menerapkan metodologi kuantitatif melalui teknik survei. Informasi dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 96 partisipan yang mengenal atau telah mengobservasi produk UMKM Keripik Tempe Ngawi via platform TikTok. Teknik analisis data mencakup pengujian validitas, reliabilitas, pengujian asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi (R²) menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS. Temuan riset mengindikasikan bahwa strategi pemasaran TikTok memiliki dampak positif signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesadaran merek. Tingkat kepercayaan konsumen juga terbukti memberikan pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesadaran merek. Secara simultan, strategi pemasaran TikTok dan tingkat kepercayaan konsumen memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesadaran merek produk UMKM Keripik Tempe Ngawi. Nilai koefisien determinasi memperlihatkan bahwa mayoritas variasi kesadaran merek dapat diterangkan oleh kedua variabel tersebut. Riset ini menyimpulkan bahwa optimalisasi strategi pemasaran TikTok yang dibarengi dengan pengembangan kepercayaan konsumen merupakan kombinasi krusial bagi UMKM dalam meningkatkan kesadaran merek dan kompetitivitas produk di era digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh promosi dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen di Samudra Supermarket Madiun. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 96 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial promosi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 2,887 dan signifikansi < 0,05. Kualitas pelayanan juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 5,248 dan signifikansi < 0,05. Secara simultan, promosi dan kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 64,818 > F tabel 3,094. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,582 menunjukkan bahwa 58,2% variasi keputusan pembelian dapat dijelaskan oleh kedua variabel independen tersebut, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model penelitian. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan promosi dan kualitas pelayanan mampu meningkatkan keputusan pembelian konsumen di Samudra Supermarket Madiun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan Artificial Intelligence (AI) terhadap efisiensi kerja, inovasi, dan kepuasan karyawan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 50 responden yang merupakan karyawan dari berbagai sektor industri yang telah menggunakan teknologi AI dalam aktivitas kerja mereka. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan AI berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efisiensi kerja dan inovasi. Selanjutnya, efisiensi kerja dan inovasi juga terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan karyawan. Nilai koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa variabel AI mampu menjelaskan variasi efisiensi kerja sebesar 38%, inovasi sebesar 42%, dan kepuasan karyawan sebesar 51%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan AI tidak hanya meningkatkan produktivitas kerja, tetapi juga mendorong inovasi serta memberikan dampak positif terhadap kepuasan karyawan. Oleh karena itu, organisasi perlu mengoptimalkan strategi implementasi AI secara berkelanjutan agar manfaat teknologi ini dapat dirasakan secara maksimal oleh karyawan. Penelitian ini mengisi gap literatur yang ada, di mana studi sebelumnya jarang mengintegrasikan ketiga variabel tersebut dalam satu model komprehensif berbasis SEM-PLS, khususnya dalam konteks UKM dan sektor industri di Indonesia yang merupakan emerging market dengan karakteristik adopsi teknologi yang unik.   This study aims to analyze the effect of Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementation on work efficiency, innovation, and employee satisfaction. The study used a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The study sample consisted of 50 respondents who were employees from various industrial sectors who have used AI technology in their work activities. Data were collected through questionnaires compiled and analyzed using SmartPLS. The results showed that AI implementation has a positive and significant effect on work efficiency and innovation. In addition, work efficiency and innovation were also proven to have a positive and significant effect on employee satisfaction. The coefficient of determination value shows that the AI ​​variable is able to explain variations in work efficiency by 38%, innovation by 42%, and employee satisfaction by 51%. These findings indicate that AI implementation not only increases work productivity but also encourages innovation and has a positive impact on employee satisfaction. Therefore, organizations need to optimize the implementation of AI strategies on an ongoing basis so that the benefits of this technology can be maximized by employees. This research fills the gap in the existing literature, where previous studies rarely integrated these three variables in one comprehensive SEM-PLS based model, especially in the context of SMEs and the industrial sector in Indonesia which is a developing market with unique technology adoption characteristics
