Abstract

Geologically the city of Jambi lies in the formation of Air Benakat, Muara Enim, Kasai, and alluvium deposits. The rock units that make up this formation were all composed by fine sediment. Based on these geological conditions, the Jambi City region has a high level of seismic priority. This research was conducted to study seismic vulnerability in this region, using the microtremor method. Microtremor is a ground vibration that can be produced by natural resources. This natural resource consists of wind and sea waves that have a long period of time or like traffic, factory machinery, and so on. Based on the results of the study obtained from the Kotabaru and Telanaipura regions have natural frequencies in the range 1.24 Hz - 4.35 Hz. The amplification factor was 1.13 - 3.34 and it was included in the low category. seismic vulnerability index in both regions was 0.50 - 8.58 x 10-6 cm / s2. seismic vulnerability index values were relatively high in Kelurahan Penyengat Rendah (Telanaipura). It was not recommended for skyscraper construction.

Abstract

Financial fraud in zakat institutions has the potential to erode public trust in zakat payment. The research aims at examining the role of spirituality in moderating the elements that affected accounting fraud intention. The method used was a quantitative research with 170 respondents with a focus on Zakat management entities in Riau Province. The research’s data analysis method used the Moderated Structural Equation Model (MSEM). The findings of this research suggested that spirituality could reduce the impact of opportunity on accounting fraud intention. However, spirituality could not reduce the impact of rationalization and ego on accounting fraud intention. This had implications for organizations to pay more attention to psychological components, particularly spirituality, to minimize accounting fraud.

Abstract

Wounds due to tissue damage can be caused by pressure, friction, extreme temperatures, or infection. WHO from 2022 recorded a wound prevalence of 3.50 per 1000 population, with the majority of cases resulting from surgery or trauma (48%). In Indonesia, around 35% of the population experiences wounds, with pressure ulcers reaching 20%. Nurses play a crucial role in wound care, including the selection of appropriate dressings. Hydrocolloid is a modern dressing that protects wounds from water, air, and bacteria, and creates a moist environment to accelerate healing. This study evaluates the effectiveness of Hydrocolloid in accelerating the wound healing process at the Hanifah Medika Center Primary Clinic. Aim to examine the effect of using the hydrocolloid on wound healing process in wound patient at Hanifah Medica Center clinic. Methods This study was a quantitative design with the Quasi-Experiment methode without a Control Group Pre-Test - Post-Test. In this design, the intervention is given to one group without a control group for comparison. Results: The results showed that mean of pre-test Winner scale score of 28.23 ± 3.093 and a post-test score of 15.63 ± 3.090. The research results indicate a difference in the Winner scale assessment scores between the pre-test and post-test, with a P-value of 0.000 (p-<0.05). Conclusion There was a decrease in wound assessment scores using the Winner scale, with a pre-test score of 28.23 ± 3.093 and a post-test score of 15.63 ± 3.090. which means that the use of Hydrocolloid is effective in the wound healing process. Suggestion: It is suggested that nurses, healthcare institutions, and wound patients can use Hydrocolloid as a dressing continuously. The three of them become one of the efforts in the wound healing process.

Abstract

Abstract

Cryptocurrency has a much higher level of risk and volatility compared to traditional investment instruments such as stocks, thus requiring a deeper understanding of the characteristic differences between the two. This research analyzes the risk profile and return on investment of cryptocurrency compared to stock indices in Indonesia during the 2022–2024 period. This research seeks to examine the characteristic differences between cryptocurrency and traditional stock investments. Using purposive sampling techniques, this research involves five types of cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Binance, Ripple) and five stock indices (IHSG, MBX, LQ45, Kompas 100, Bisnis-27) with monthly data totaling 350 observations. The methodology used includes the Shapiro-Wilk normality test for data distribution, followed by the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test for return and risk variables that are not normally distributed, and the Independent Sample t-test for the Value at Risk (VaR) variable that is normally distributed. The findings shed light that although there is no significant difference in the rate of return between cryptocurrency and stock indices (p = 0.494), cryptocurrency has a much higher level of risk based on standard deviation (p = 0.000) and Historical VaR 95% (p = 0.028). The average VaR of cryptocurrency reaches 23.17%, while stock indices only 6.10%, indicating a potential maximum loss nearly four times greater under worst market conditions. These findings confirm that cryptocurrency is a high-risk asset that demands more careful risk management strategies, and provides important implications for investors and policymakers in designing regulations and investment portfolios that are adaptive to digital market dynamics.
