Abstract

The study titled "Analysis of Understanding of Handling Sports Injuries in Extracurricular Students of Public High School 8 Padang" aims to assess the knowledge and practices related to sports injury management among students involved in extracurricular sports activities. Recognizing the significant role of sports in physical and mental health, the research highlights the risks associated with sports injuries, which can range from acute injuries like sprains and fractures to chronic conditions such as tendinitis. Using a qualitative research methodology, the study involved in-depth interviews with athletes from various sports disciplines at SMA Negeri 8 Padang. The findings reveal a diverse range of injury management practices among students, with many employing initial care techniques such as rest and ice application. However, there is a notable lack of awareness regarding proper injury management protocols and preventive measures, indicating a critical need for improved education on this topic. The results suggest that effective strategies for injury prevention and management should include structured warm-up programs, appropriate protective equipment, and enhanced technical training. The study concludes that addressing these gaps in knowledge can significantly improve the well-being and performance of student athletes, ultimately contributing to better health outcomes in school sports programs.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the work and thoughts of Tuan Guru Kyai Haji Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid in the context of Islamic education and his contribution to the nation's moral development through Nahdlatul Wathan. The method used is qualitative research with a library research model, where data is collected through literature searches on the Dimensions platform and Google Scholar. To analyse the themes and linkages in the previous discussion, the author used the VOSviewer application. The results show that, firstly, Tuan Guru is a functional elite figure in Islamic society who not only acts as a cleric, but also as a spiritual and social guide. Secondly, Nahdlatul Wathan educational institutions have characteristics as general education institutions based on Islamic values, with a focus on forming a generation of faith and piety, as reflected in the slogan ‘The main thing is NW, the main thing is NW Iman and Taqwa.’ Third, Tuan Guru's thoughts and struggles in establishing Nahdlatul Wathan reflect a great effort to form national cadres with Islamic character and national spirit, as stated in his monumental work Hizb Nahdlatul Wathan. Thus, the contribution of Tuan Guru KH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid through Nahdlatul Wathan is not only important in the field of education and religion, but also plays a major role in the moral and spiritual development of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

Islamic education is an education that refers to the values of Islam, the Qur'an and the Sunnah as a reference and source of educational material. Religious education oriented to the effective establishment of the establishment of a mental attitude of students towards the growth of religious consciousness, effectively is a problem related to emotional (psychological) associated with love, hate, sympathy antipasti, religion not only in the region but also the thought of entering the area of taste. The function of Islamic education is as (1) an effort to foster the creativity of learners on an ongoing basis (2) efforts to enrich the wealth of human culture, enrich the contents of human values and divine, and (3) efforts to set up a productive workforce that is able to anticipate the future and / or able to give shades of the working structure of the future inspired by the spirit of Islam (Muhaimin, 2003: 44).               Social reconstruction prioritize content, process and experience, it can be said to be the essence of learning social reconstruction itself is none other than giving students the freedom to avoid infertility in thinking. This is because the presence of the students are as living beings with intelligence, have conscience and always dealing with masyarakar. From here, it is very relevant when social reconstruction said memgutamakan "liberation" of students to more actively study the social problems being faced by the community. This problem as its contents, while the process can be done by dialogue and problem-solving

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk merespons kebutuhan anak-anak di Yayasan Rumah Harapan Abe dalam mengembangkan keterampilan desain grafis sebagai bagian dari literasi digital di era teknologi. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar dalam membuat poster digital menggunakan aplikasi Canva, sekaligus meningkatkan kreativitas dan rasa percaya diri peserta. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap persiapan, pelatihan teori dan praktik langsung, serta evaluasi melalui kuesioner. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 April 2025 dan diikuti oleh sepuluh peserta dengan antusiasme tinggi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami konsep dasar desain poster serta mengaplikasikannya secara langsung. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, seluruh peserta menyatakan puas terhadap pelatihan dan merasa mendapatkan manfaat yang signifikan, terutama dalam meningkatkan keterampilan desain digital. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap penguatan karakter anak-anak dalam menggunakan teknologi secara kreatif dan produktif. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini berjalan efektif dan layak untuk direplikasi pada kegiatan sejenis di masa mendatang. This community service activity was carried out in response to the needs of children at the Rumah Harapan Abe Foundation in developing graphic design skills as part of digital literacy in the technological era. The purpose of the training was to provide basic knowledge and skills in creating digital posters using the Canva application, while also enhancing participants’ creativity and self-confidence. The implementation method included preparation, theoretical and practical sessions, and evaluation through questionnaires. The activity was conducted on April 20, 2025, and was enthusiastically attended by ten participants. The results show that the participants were able to understand the basic concepts of poster design and apply them directly. Based on the evaluation, all participants expressed satisfaction with the training and felt they gained significant benefits, particularly in improving their digital design skills. This activity had a positive impact on strengthening children's character in using technology creatively and productively. In conclusion, the training was effective and has the potential to be replicated in similar future programs. Keywords: Poster Design, Digital Literacy, Canva, Children, Community Service

Abstract

LinkedIn is one of the professional social media platforms that is widely used for job searching and building a digital personal image. Although its usage is quite extensive, there are still several obstacles in user experience, such as features that are not yet fully understandable and difficulties in understanding the application's usage flow, especially for new users. This situation is the reason LinkedIn was chosen as the research object to evaluate user usability. This research aims to assess the user experience of the Linkedin application using a descriptive quantitative approach and the System Usability Scale (SUS) instrument. Data were obtained from 110 active respondents of Linkedin users through the distribution of online questionnaires. The results of the validity and reliability tests indicate that all question items are valid and consistent. The average SUS score obtained is 62.85, which falls into the 'Marginal' category. which indicates that this application is rated reasonably well by users, but still requires improvements in some aspects to provide a better experience.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPT. Labai Persada Tambang merupakan perusahaan pertambangan dengan komoditas tambang bauksit, seluas 13.770 Ha. Keselamatan kerja pada tahap muat angkut dapat mempengaruhi efektivitas kerja, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan identifikasi potensi bahaya, penilaian risiko, dan pengendalian risiko. Identifikasi potensi bahaya dan risiko pada tahap muat dan angkut menggunakan metode hazard identification risk assessment and risk control (HIRARC), penilaian risiko menggunakan metode analisis risiko semi kuantitatif berdasarkan Australian Standard/New Zealand Standard (AS/NZS) 4360: 2004 dengan menggunakan parameter kemungkinan, paparan, dan konsekuensi. Data didapat dengan melakukan observasi langsung dilapangan dan kuesioner yang diisi oleh pekerja yang ada dilapangan. Hasil identifikasi dari potensi bahaya terdapat sebanyak 38 risiko yang mungkin terjadi, risiko dengan nilai tertinggi pada tahap pemuatan (loading) yaitu, risiko unit dump truck tumbang dengan nilai risiko (750), pada tahap pemuatan (hauling) yaitu, risiko tabrakan antar unit yang berlawanan arah dengan nilai risiko (1500), serta pada tahap dumping yaitu, risiko tertimbun material dengan nilai risiko (600), semua risiko tersebut termasuk dalam tingkat risiko very high. Pengendalian secara umum yaitu pengendalian engineering dengan melakukan perbaikan jalan pada tikungan dan tanjakan yang melampaui standar.Kata Kunci : Bahaya, HIRARC, Identifikasi, Pengendalian, RisikoABSTRACTPT. Labai Persada Tambang is a mining company with bauxite mining commodities, covering an area of 13,770 Ha. Occupational safety at the load and carry stage can affect work effectiveness, therefore it is necessary to identify potential hazards, risk assessment, and risk control. Identification of potential hazards and risks at the load and transport stage uses the hazard identification risk assessment and risk control (HIRARC) method, risk assessment uses a semi-quantitative risk analysis method based on Australian Standard/New Zealand Standard (AS/NZS) 4360: 2004 using probability parameters, exposure, and consequences. Data were obtained by direct observation in the field and questionnaires filled in by workers in the field. The results of the identification of the potential hazards are as many as 38 risks that may occur, the risk with the highest value is at the loading stage, that is, the risk of the dump truck unit collapsing with a risk value of (750), at the hauling stage, that is, the risk of collisions between units in the opposite direction to the risk value (1500), and at the dumping stage, namely, the risk of material accumulation with a risk value of (600), all of these risks are included in the very high-risk level.
