Abstract

This article discusses the challenges and prospects in the application of Maqasid al-Shariah principles in the context of contemporary Islamic law, using qualitative research methods and a library research approach. This research aims to explore the role of Maqasid al-Shariah as the main framework in compiling Islamic law that is relevant to the times. The results show that the application of Maqasid al-Shariah aims to maintain the relevance of Islamic law, answer various modern challenges, and realise the benefit of the people. Maqasid al-Shariah principles, such as the protection of religion, soul, mind, offspring, and property, provide flexibility for Islamic law to be applied in various fields, including legislation, economics, health, human rights, and environmental conservation. However, the research also identifies a number of significant challenges, including the lack of a comprehensive understanding of Maqasid al-Shariah among practitioners and policymakers, resistance to legal reform due to rigid textual interpretation, the gap between Maqasid theory and implementation in positive law in Muslim countries, and the influence of globalisation and technological developments that raise new legal issues. On the other hand, this research confirms the great prospect of applying Maqasid al-Shariah to create an inclusive, adaptive and relevant Islamic legal system. The Maqasid-based approach enables Islamic law to provide fair and beneficial solutions to modern society, without compromising the core values of Shari'ah. This shows that Maqasid al-Shariah is a dynamic foundation for realising justice and benefit in various aspects of Muslim life.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the development and transformation of Muhammadiyah thought from puritanism to cosmopolitanism. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research model. The source of data for this research is by searching for books and scientific articles in online journals with the help of the Publish or Perish application and Google Scholar. After the data is found, it is filtered and classified according to the theme discussed. Furthermore, the author will present the results of the research in the form of narratives and graphs, making it easier to understand the discussion. The results of this research can be concluded, that Muhammadiyah as a modernist Islamic movement, is rooted in the spirit of puritanism which emphasises the purification of Islamic teachings based on sacred texts and practices of the salaf generation. Over time, the organisation underwent a transformation towards cosmopolitanism, which integrates inclusive, adaptive, and universal values. This shift was influenced by globalisation, the dynamics of science, and contextual needs, which encouraged Muhammadiyah to combine puritanism with tajdid (renewal). Through the concept of Islam Berkemajuan, Muhammadiyah carries the vision of universal humanitarian solidarity, dialogue between civilizations, and active participation in global issues. This transformation reflects a shift from a doctrine-based movement to one that contributes significantly to the welfare of humanity, maintaining relevance at the national level, while expanding its influence on the global stage.

Abstract

Mitra pada PM ini adalah pesantren Taqi Setu Bekasi, dalam sistem pembelajaran nya sudah menggunakan internet hanya saja belum optimal dalam pemanfaatan teknologi tersebut. Permasalahahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah yaitu penggunaan pemanfaatan teknologi Informasi masih belum optimal sebagai media pembelajaran, Terbatasnya pengetahuan dan kemampuan guru pengajar dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran hanya sebatas menggunakan aplikasi whastapp. Solusi yang ditawarkan oleh tim PM yaitu untuk menyelasaikan permasalahan yang di hadapi mitra dengan di adakannya pelatihan pemanfaatan tekmologi literasi media digital web blog sebagai media pembelajaran. Metode pelaksanaan dari PM ini terdri dari survey lapangan, perizinan, analisa masalah, solusi malasalah, peksanaan, evaluasi dan pelaporan. Hasil luaran 87% di capai pada kegiatan ini adalah Meningkatnya kemampuan mitra dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasidan kemampuan mitra dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran.   The partner for this PM is the Taqi Setu Bekasi Islamic boarding school, in its learning system it already uses the internet but it's just not optimal in utilizing this technology. The problem faced by partners is that the use of information technology is still not optimal as a learning medium, limited knowledge and ability of teaching teachers to use learning media and learning media is only limited to using the WhatsApp application. The solution offered by the PM team is to solve the problems faced by partners by holding training on the use of web blog digital media literacy technology as a learning medium. The PM implementation method consists of field surveys, permits, problem analysis, problem solutions, implementation, evaluation and reporting. The output that will be achieved in this activity is the increasing ability of partners in the use of information technology and the ability of partners in making learning media.

Abstract

PT Hansindo Mineral Persada is a granite mining company. Mining activities at PT Hansindo Mineral Persada use blasting and the help of a hydraulic excavator breaker to break up boulders. The crusher setting at PT Hansindo has a size of 50 cm, so rocks above 50 cm must be crushed first to make them smaller. The research aims to gain the capability of equipment production. Thus, it can assist in meeting production and cost requirements. Apart from that, this is also an effort to increase the production of hydraulic excavator breakers. Data collection in the field is carried out by observing cycle times, work constraints, working time, operational costs, the need for fuel, lubricants, etc. Then, the data is calculated on cycle time, effective working time, number of production tools, and operational costs. After that, it is necessary to make improvements during the effective working time of the obstacles that occur or to increase the number of hydraulic excavator breakers. The calculation results show that the production capacity of one hydraulic breaker excavator unit is 21.77 BCM/hour or 4,277.98 BCM/month. The operational cost for one tool is IDR 2,944,133.88/day. The increased production of the two recommended alternatives resulted in an increase of up to 4,468.41 BCM/month by improving the effective working time and 8,583.03 BCM/month by increasing the number of tools. The value of tool availability for MA increased by 0.1%, PA by 0%, UA increased by around 4%, and EU increased by around 4%.

Abstract

Lahan pasca tambang merupakan sumberdaya potensial dan memberikan manfaat yang cukup besar apabila dapat dimanfaatkan secara tepat. Perkebunan dapat dijadikan salah satu bentuk dari pemanfaatan lahan bekas tambang. Pemanfaatan lahan bekas tambang sebagai lahan perkebunan di kabupaten Balangan menggunakan evaluasi kesusaian lahan metode Weight Factor Matching. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tanaman kelapa sawit dan karet memiliki nilai s2 (cukup sesuai), Hasil kesesuaian lahan tersebut menggambarkan bahwa kedua jenis tanaman masuk dalam kategori lahan mempunyai faktor pembatas yang berpengaruh terhadap produktifitas sehingga memerlukan masukan, pembatas tersebut biasanya dapat diatasi oleh petani atau pengelola itu sendiri. Abstract

Granite's durability makes it a popular choice in construction, but efficient granite mining, especially through drilling for blast holes, is essential for productivity and cost management. PT. Hansindo Mineral Persada in Kalimantan Barat faces challenges balancing drilling efficiency and costs, requiring a detailed study to optimize operations. This article presents a study analyzing drilling machine productivity, focusing on the rotary-percussive method based on 2022 drilling costs. The study revealed insights into drilling productivity, obstacles, and costs. Notably, productivity, measured by Net Penetration Rate (NPR) and Gross Penetration Rate (GPR), showed significant improvements: NPR for machine 001 increased from 71.39 m ³/hour to 95.24 m ³/hour, and GPR from 58.02 m ³/hour to 75.35 m ³/hour. Machine 002"™s NPR improved from 53.49 m ³/hour to 60.22 m ³/hour, with GPR rising from 44.47 m ³/hour to 46.25 m ³/hour. Avoidable obstacles decreased, but unavoidable ones persisted. Drilling costs varied, with machine 001"™s cost decreasing from Rp 68,857 to Rp 58,873 per meter and machine 002"™s increasing from Rp 81,324 to Rp 86,022. Recommendations include improved planning, regular maintenance, and better scheduling. Future research on rock properties, equipment age, and tool quality could further enhance productivity and efficiency.

Abstract

According to the Mineral Commodity Analysis and Evaluation Team of the International Mineral Information Center Development Project (1983), bauxite is an alumina ore used in industrial applications and as a primary material in aluminum production. Bauxite deposits are abundant in West Kalimantan. PT. Anugerah Borneo Maruya Persada, a mining company located in Deranuk Village, Jelai Hulu District, Ketapang Regency, focuses on bauxite extraction. Due to high market demand, the company seeks to identify new resources, necessitating an estimation of potential bauxite resources. This study evaluates the bauxite resources in Block 2 of PT. Anugrah Borneo Maruya Persada using the Area of Influence (AOI) polygon-included method. The bauxite volume is calculated by determining the area of influence and multiplying it by the deposit thickness. A test pit spacing of 50 meters and a cut-off grade of ≥35% were used to assess deposit distribution. Results show high-grade bauxite at 10 test pits, medium-grade at two pits, and low-grade at six pits, with deposits spreading from west to east. The total estimated bauxite volume in Block 2 is 66,250 m ³ or 106,000 tons.

Abstract

Mine Development and SGA Plant Project PT. ANTAM Tbk saat ini sedang dalam tahap konstruksi. Oleh karena itu diperlukan perencanaan jalan tambang yang sesuai dengan standar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat perencanaan jalan tambang dan menghitung desain geometri jalan sehingga dapat dilalui oleh dump truck Hino FM 260 JD. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengamatan dan pengukuran langsung dilapangan. Pengolahan dan analisis data berupa pemetaan topografi existing jalan dan perhitungan rencana geometri jalan tambang. Hasil survey awal diperoleh kondisi exsisting jalan tambang dengan panjang jalur ± 4.845 m dan lebar 2-10 meter data ini didapatkan dari pemetaan topografi jalan menggunakan alat total station. Rancangan geometri jalan tambang berdasarkan metode AASTHO yaitu lebar jalan lurus 9 m sedangkan pada tikungan 15 m, jari-jari tikungan minimum 36 m dengan radius putar 8,5 m maka superelevasi maksimal yang diperoleh adalah 0,05 dengan beda tinggi 75 cm, kemiringan melintang dengan beda tinggi 20 cm serta rimpul pada gear 1 16,5% dan gear 2 10,08%. Jalan tambang masih membutuhkan penyesuaian pada pelebaran yaitu maksimum 15 m dan grade jalan maksimum sebesar 12,77 %. Maka perhitungan volume penggalian sebesar 1.106 m ­ ­3 dan volume penimbunan 2.991 m ­ ­3 sehingga perusahaan memerlukan 1.885 m ­ ­3 untuk penimbunan jalan.  Kata kunci : Perencanaan, Geometri, Jalan Angkut Tambang.

Abstract

Efforts in the prevention and treatment of leprosy have improved, but until now leprosy is still difficult to be eliminated so that it is still a problem in the world of health. The incidence of new leprosy patients has not decreased, although the prevalence of leprosy continues to decline through the WHO program, namely multi-drug therapy (MTD). Several new cases have been found without involving any contact history. It is suspected that there is a contribution from sources other than humans, namely non-humans such as animals and the environment. This article discusses the sources of transmission of M. leprae from animals and the environment. Research using literature review is limited to the last 10 years by reviewing 8 relevant journals about sources of transmission and modes of transmission from the environment and non-humans in Mycobacterium leprae. This article has been filtered from 35 articles sourced from the Pubmed, NCBI, Plos One and Science Direct databases, then there are 23 articles that are not relevant, so 12 articles were reviewed. Based on the results of a review article that the source of leprosy transmission came from animals, it was found in Rhodnius prolixus, Dasypus novemcinctus and red squirrels, while chimpanzees and monkeys were not the source of M. leprae transmission. In the environment where M. leprae is commonly found in the soil.

Abstract

Kucing adalah hewan peliharaan yang rentan terkena penyakit. Pemilik hewan peliharaan kucing sebagian besar awam pada penyakit dan gejala-gejala yang menyeranghewan peliharaan mereka. Ketersediaan dokter hewan yang relatif masih sedikit dan biaya besar yang harus dikeluarkan untuk pergi ke dokter hewan menjadi salah satu alasan pemilik kucing enggan mengobati hewan peliharaan mereka ketika muncul gejala-gejala terserang suatu peyakit. Perkembangan kecerdasan buatan dalam teknologi komputer membuat suatu celah yang memungkinkan dibuatnya suatu aplikasi sistem pakar untuk diagnosa penyakit hewan berdasarkan gejala yang teramati. Dengan alasan itulah, pada penelitian ini dikembangkan aplikasi sistem pakar diagnosis penyakit kucing menggunakan mesin inferensi forward chaining dan certainty factor. Pertama-tama, mesin inferensi forward chaining akan mencocokkan gejala-gejala yang teramati dan melakukan inferensi berdasarkan rule-rule yang sudah dibuat sebelumnya. Setelah itu, probabilitas penyakit akan dihitung menggunakan metode certainty factor. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian menggunakan 10 sampel, didapatkan 9 sampel menghasilkan kesimpulan yang sama dengan pakar dan 1 hasil yang berbeda
