Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of wheatgrass juice on the blood sugar levels of M. musculus L. hyperglycemia. This research is an experimental study using a completely randomized design. This study used 25 mice for 42 days in two control groups, namely negative and positive. The positive group was given glibenclamide after sucrose induction. There were three treatments in this study, namely P1 50%, P2 75%, and P3 100%, which were taken with wheat grass juice after sucrose induction. Check blood sugar levels using Easy Touch. The data was tested by ANOVA, followed by DMRT at the five percent level. The results showed that, at the end of the experiment, T. aestivum L. juice affected M. musculus L. blood sugar hyperglycemia. The most optimal use of T. aestivum L is P3 (100%). Abstract

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of entrepreneurship learning using website media in e learning conducted at Universitas Negeri Padang during the COVID 19 pandemic. The research methodology uses a quantitative approach, evaluation is carried out on 307 samples who are students who have participated in Entrepreneurship learning using e learning. during the COVID 19 pandemic, research is an evaluation type research to present recommendations for implementing learning programs. The research instrument used a set of questions about cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities to adjust the Entrepreneurship learning curriculum at Universitas Negeri Padang. The data analysis used the percentage technique and the calculation of the difference in score values. The results showed that cognitive, affective and psychomotor have an average increase, but students have the final knowledge achievement at a score of 72 (cognitive), 79 (affective) and 74 (psychomotor), which means that the final learning outcomes of students have not reached value limit categorized as good at an average score of> 80. Thus the recommendation for the results of this evaluation is that it is necessary to improve the performance of the e learning learning program to achieve better learning outcomes through educational factors which include the quality of educators, media and increased student learning motivation.

Abstract

The main objective of the program at the community nutrition service center is to encourage Padang State University clinics to provide holistic community nutrition services. This service center is assisted by nutrition from FMIPA, and FPP Culinary Experts, as well as from FIK, which is intended for the community. The implementation of this activity is managed by a group of lecturers who are scientifically closely related to the program to be made. The proposed community nutrition service center is expected to develop well in providing individual and community services based on clinical nutrition. Community nutrition service centers are oriented towards other health service efforts found in clinics, namely promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative. The advantage of this service center compared to other first level health facilities such as the puskesmas is that the services provided are accompanied by assistance in the field when conducting counseling and providing services with integrity. The main targets of community nutrition services are children, adolescents, pregnant women and the elderly. The programs carried out include infant and toddler nutrition service programs, youth nutrition services, pregnant women nutrition services, elderly nutrition services and pre-participation examinations. This clinic is under the Chancellor of UNP which will be developed within the Center for Health Service Development. It is hoped that the UNP clinic will continue to develop according to the capabilities of each faculty in developing health services according to their scientific fields.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan Masyarakat adalah suatu strategi yang digunakan dalam Pembangunan Masyarakat sebagai upaya untuk mewujudkan kemampuan dan kemandirian dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa, dan bernegara. Kasus yang disebabkan oleh game online dan penurunan derajat kesehatan terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Hal ini, menjadi satu problematika yang harus diperbaiki, khususnya untuk daerah Pulau Pramuka yang cukup jauh dari jangkauan DKI Jakarta. Oleh karena itu, Tingkat derajat kesehatan masyarakat dapat ditingkatkan diantaranya dengan adanya penyuluhan game online, kegiatan pemeriksaan kesehatan, dan pemberian vitamin pada masyarakat Pulau Pramuka, tepatnya di RPTRA Tanjung Elang. Lokasi ini merupakan tempat masyarakat melakukan posyandu, jalan sehat dan rekreasi, yang memungkinkan sekali untuk diadakan pemeriksaan kesehatan secara langsung yaitu pemeriksaan glukosa, asam urat, dan kolesterol. Tujuan dari kegiatan  Kuliah Kerja Nyata ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan terhadap masyarakat tentang bahaya game online, meningkatkan kesehatan masyarakat melalui skrining kesehatan dan pemberian vitamin. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah Penyuluhan Kesehatan kepada masyarakat di Pulau Pramuka. Kesimpulan dari hasil analisis Kecanduan Game Online Terhadap Kepribadian Sosial Anak – Dewasa dari pengisian kuesioner terhadap dari 25 koresponden usia anak – dewasa Pulau Pramuka, 12 orang mencapai skors Sangat Baik (48 %), 6 orang mencapai skor Baik (24%), 6 orang mencapai skor Cukup (24%), dan 1 orang mencapai skors Kurang (4 %) sehingga dapat dikatakan aman dari kecanduan game online dan dapat dikategorikan mayoritas skors sangat baik. Hasil skrinning kesehatan masyarakat di Pulau Pramuka rata – rata menderita Diabetes Mellitus.

Abstract

Kebijakan pemerintah untuk lockdown ditengah menghadapi COVID-19 menjadikan destinasi wisata yang telah mengurangi omset pariwisata di Kabupaten 50. Objek wisata Lembah Harau merupakan omset terbesar untuk Kabupaten 50 kota, untuk mestabilisasikan kondisi pariwisata saat ini, untuk itu Universitas Negeri Padang melakukan sumbangsih dengan mengadakan pengabdian masyarakat yang akan dilakukan pada tahun 2021. Kelompok Sadar Wisata Lembah (Pokdarwis) Pasa Harau yang merupakan kelompok pengembangan objek Lembah Harau di Nagari Harau yang mengalami masalah-masalah dalam pengelolaan objek wisata. Masalah-masalah tersebut seperti: dampak wabah pandemi COVID-19 yang telah mengurangi omset perekonomian masyarakat di lembah Harau, masih kurangnya mitigasi dalam menghadapi dampak wabah COVID-19, masih kurangnya kemampuan SDM dalam mengelola objek wisata ditengah pandemi COVID-19 untuk mestabilisasikan kondisi objek wisata Lembah Harau, dan banyaknya potensi yang dimiliki daerah objek wisata lembah harau yang belum dikembangkan secara maksimal. Masalah yang dialami mitra dalam menghadapi pandemi COVID-19 tentu akan menghambat proses perkembangan perekonomian di objek wisata lembah harau pada umumnya. Adanya kerjasama Perguruan Tinggi dengan masyarakat diharapkan memberikan solusi terhadap pengelolaan dan pengembangan objek wisata Lembah Harau dalam menghadapi pandemi COVID-19 untuk kemajuan destinasi wista lembah harau. Sebelumnya kerja sama telah kami lakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan Rias Wajah Penari dan beberapa pelatihan berkolaborasi dengan Jurusan Pariwisata untuk pengembangan destinasi wisata lembah harau untuk pengembangan objek wisata lembah harau Kecamatan Harau pada tahun 2019 dan berjalan dengan lancar. Solusi yang akan diberikan untuk mengatasi permasalahan mitra dengan memberikan pelatihan keterampilan pijat refleksi dan pembuatan minyak sereh wangi pada POKDARWIS Pasa Harau Nagari Harau Kabupaten 50 Kota. Materi-materi yang akan diberikan saat pelatihan sebagai solusi permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra sebagai berikut: a) Pengetahuan pemilihan alat, bahan dan kosmetika pijat refleksi, b) Pengetahuan titik-titik pijat refleksi, c) Teknik dan proses kerja pijat refleksi dan pembuatan minyak sereh wangi, d) Pengetahuan pembuatan Minyak sereh wangi di objek wisata Lembah Harau. Pelaksanaan pengabdian bagi masyarakat digunakan metode yang bervariasi yaitu: a) Metode ceramah dan tanya tentang pengetahuan pijat refleksi dan pembuatan minyak sereh wangi b) Metode demonstrasi dan praktek.

Abstract

The learning objectives of hand, foot and nail care for students of makeup and beauty education is not sufficient and not optimal. Therefore, there is a need for innovation in learning, especially hand care and foot care learning materials. ICT-based modul is solution to overcome this problem. This study aims to develop e-module learning media based on flipbook maker in the department of cosmetology and beauty. The methodology used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Four D procedure through the stages of define, design, develop and disseminate. The research subjects were 3 media experts and 3 material experts. While the research subjects in the practical test were 2 lecturers and 20 students of the department of cosmetology and beauty. Data were obtained by using test instruments to test the effectiveness and non-test instruments to test the validity and practicality of the research process. Data analysis uses V Aiken calculations for product validation, percentage formulas for practicality and effectiveness. The results of this research show there is a significant comparison of students' understanding of hand, foot and nail care using flipbook maker-based e-module learning media. Based on all these analyzes it was concluded that the e-module based on flipbook maker was stated to be valid, practical and effective as one of the learning media for the hand, foot and nail care course.

Abstract

Skin problems, especially on the face, are often considered to diminish appearance and require significant expense. However, caring for the face with natural ingredients is safer because they are free of chemicals. The natural ingredient in question is papaya seeds, which contain the enzyme papain, which can prevent wrinkles, minimize pores, and moisturize the skin. Besides being a food ingredient, black sticky rice can also benefit skin beauty by slowing premature aging, thanks to its high antioxidant and anthocyanin content, vitamin E, and fiber. This study aims to determine the physical properties of papaya seed and black sticky rice masks, including color, aroma, texture, and panelist preferences. This is an experimental study with papaya seed and black sticky rice masks as the subjects. This quantitative study used experimental methods. Data collection methods included observation and panelist preferences for color, aroma, texture, and adhesive power. Two cosmetology and beauty lecturers, along with 10 female students from the University of North Sumatra (UNP), studied the color, aroma, texture, and adhesiveness of the masks. The results of the study showed that using a papaya seed and black sticky rice mask effectively treated dry skin. The skin exhibited a gray color from the mixture of papaya seed powder and black sticky rice, a fragrant and pleasant aroma, a very smooth texture, and good elasticity, feeling firm and supple.

Abstract

This research was conducted to present recommendations on the implementation of e-learning courses Entrepreneurship during the Covid-19 pandemic. The evaluation refers to model Kirkpatrick's with Level 1: Satisfaction, Level 2: Learning, Level 3: Behavior, and Level 4: Impact. The research used a quantitative method with data analysis using percentage techniques. The sample was 307 students who had attended Entrepreneurship courses using e-learning. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed via Google form. The results show that the evaluation level 1: student satisfaction in learning, on average of 67% and 33% of the other feeling dissatisfied and less able to accept entrepreneurship learning optimally. Level 2 evaluation: learning outcomes, data cognitive, affective, and psychomotor have an average improvement. Evaluation level 3: there was an average improvement of only 18 points on entrepreneurial behavior. Evaluation level 4: 53% of students respond that e-learning is suitable for sustainable use, 59% give the opinion that e-learning is effective in increasing the ability to be an entrepreneurial, and 52% undertake entrepreneurial activities after participating in e-learning. The recommendation of this study's results is to continue learning by using e-learning by paying attention to process factors and combining it with learning, which refers more to implementing entrepreneurial projects to improve psychomotor competence and entrepreneurial behavior in the future.

Abstract

The tourism industry is currently one of the industries that plays an important role in national development in various countries. The tourism industry changes the lives of millions of people around the world by stimulating economic growth, creating jobs, reducing poverty, accelerating development and increasing tolerance. Nagari Tabek Patah is a nagari that has a lot of natural potential that can be used as a tourist attraction. If natural tourism can be managed properly, of course it can improve the local community's economy. The purpose of this study was to find out the potential and strategiesof the local community in developing tourism objects in Nagari Tabek Patah. The type of method in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques carried out by observation and interviews. From this research, it was found that there were several ways that the local community had done to develop tourist objects, including promotion by placing banners and creating social media accounts

Abstract

Tempe is the most popular traditional fermented food in Indonesia that has high nutritional values such as high protein content high fatty acid content, vitamin B12, excellent digestibility, and good antioxidant content sources. Tempe also has low in anti-nutrition factors such as phytic acid, oligosaccharides. The purpose of this study is to compare traditional Tempe produced from West Sumatra, Indonesia, which is comparing the yellow and black soybeans, with a focus on antioxidant capacity. Six samples of Tempe were collected in Padang and Padang Panjang, Indonesia. Microorganism isolated from tempe samples were identified and the antioxidant capacity was determined using different antioxidant capacity assays, then Vitamin B12 determination in mocrobiological assay was perfomed. The result is included the mean of antioxidant of black soybeans = 0.008333 with a standard deviation of 0.0006429 and the mean of antioxidant of yellow soybeans = 0.008767 with a standard deviation of 0.0027465. In conclusion, it can be seen that the F count for antioxidants is 8647 with a probability of 0.042. Because of the probability value is < 0.05, then H0 is rejected or the two population variances are different (heterogeneous).
