Abstract

This study aims to analyze the realization of direct and indirect representative act by the panelists of 2019 Atlantic Education Summit. This study is designed as spoken discourse study with qualitative approach. The speech act analysis to discourse by Schiffrin (1994) was employed to analyze how utterances are understood and interpreted based on a certain context. The findings are as follows. In terms of frequency, there were 994 direct representative acts and eight indirect representative acts. The high number of direct representative act is related to the effectiveness and efficiency of communication between the panelists and the audiences. In terms of realization, direct representative act is versatile. It means that direct representative act was realized by the panelists to serve so many different purposes of communication, for example assertion, statement, claim, etc. On the contrary, there are several strategies that were employed to realize representative act indirectly. They are associating the certain word with similar object, using words which have non-literal meaning, and using an indirect strategy. In addition, lack of familiarity and the formality of the context are the sources that affect the realization of indirect representative act. Keywords: Representative act, direct, indirect, panelists

Abstract

The aim of this research is to optimize student learning outcomes by using a collaborative approach in recognizing scientific work in class XI SMA Negeri 3 Palembang. The method used in this research is a classroom action research method with planning, action, observation and reflection stages. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, documentation and tests. Furthermore, data analysis techniques in this research include qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative data analysis techniques. This research consists of two cycles, each cycle going through planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The results of the research and discussion show that using a collaborative approach to material about scientific work using good steps can optimize student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the percentage of completeness of students' learning outcomes, namely starting from the experiment in cycle 1 it was 67.7% and increased in cycle II to 83.8%. The percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes obtained from cycle II has reached the success indicators set out in this research, namely achieving the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) for Indonesian scientific work material with a score of ≥ 78 reaching more than 80%. So researchers can identify that using a collaborative approach can optimize student learning outcomes in getting to know scientific work in class XI SMA Negeri 3 Palembang.

Abstract

Salah satu model dan teknik pembelajaran inovatif yang cocok untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran ialah model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL). Model    pembelajaran Project    Based    Learning adalah    model    pembelajaran    yang menggunakan proyek sebagai tujuannya dan melibatkan siswa dalam kegiatan memecahkan masalah  dan  tugas-tugas  bermakna  lainnnya,  memberi  peluang  siswa  bekerja  secara otonom  mengkonstruk  belajar  mereka  sendiri,  dan  puncaknya  menghasilkan  produk  karyasiswa bernilai, dan realist. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, guru sebagai peneliti menggambarkan keadaan situasi yang terjadi berdasarkan fakta yang terjadi di kelas pada saat penelitian berlangsung. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilakukan dalam kelas guna memecahkan sesuatu permasalahan yang dialami guru dalam proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas, hal ini untuk memperbaiki kualitas serta hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, dimana tiap- tiap siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan, dari tiap pertemuan siklus I dan siklus II mengalami kenaikan secara bertahap. Pada pertemuan ke 1 siswa difokuskan untuk membuat proyek, sementara itu pada pertemuan ke 2 siswa masih membuat proyek namun sekaligus digunakan sebagai penilaian. Berdasarkan keseluruhan siklus yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Upaya meningkatkan pemahaman materi karya ilmiah dengan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Palembang dapat dibuktikan dengan hasil penelitian ini yang menunjukkan bahwa model Project Based learning( PjBL) yang diterapkan guru dalam proses pembelajaran membuat mahasiswa lebih menguasai materi pembelajaran serta dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan peningkatan hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa. Siswa mendapatkan kemudahan dalam menyelesaikan tugas. Penerapan model PjBL membuat proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi karya ilmiah lebih menarik serta mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini memberikan suatu implikasi bahwa model Project Based Learning (PjBL) memberikan pengalaman belajar yang detail, rinci, menantang dalam durasi yang lebih panjang dengan sasaran terselesaikannya proyek serta karya siswa yang memuaskan.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research (PTK). The research subjects were students of class XI 4 SMA Negeri 6 Palembang, totaling 37 students. This research aims to improve the drama playing skills of class XI 4 students at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang using the Oscar Brocket technique. This research also seeks to integrate Oscar Brocket's techniques into their curriculum, expanding the learning approaches they use. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis supported by quantitative data to describe the ability to play drama before and after the action. Qualitative analysis was used to record field observations and interview results, while quantitative data was obtained from evaluating drama plays before and after the action was carried out. The data sources used in this research are primary data sources and secondary data sources. This research consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation or action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation of learning activities. Analysis was carried out using qualitative descriptive techniques supported by quantitative data. The validity of the data obtained through validity (process, results and democratic). The results of this research show that the Oscar Brocket technique can improve drama playing skills in class XI 4 students at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang. Students are trained to concentrate with fun techniques. Students will not get bored using this technique because students are invited to imagine everything they can bring. Students are also trained to act according to the characters they play in the script that has been created.

Abstract

Masalah yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana implementasi pembelajaran daring mata pelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan (PJOK). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses implementasi pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi covid-19  di SMA Negeri 1 Air Salek. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif, untuk data dan sumber data menggunakan data primer yang di dapatkan dari  hasil wawancara dengan narasumber, sedangkan data sukender berupa berkas dan dokumentasi. Pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi, teknik analisis data diperoleh dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu proses implementasi pembelajaran daring mata pelajaran PJOK di SMA negeri 1 Air Salek menggunakan beberapa aplikasi diantaranya zoom, whatsaap dan cyber school. Faktor penghambat dalam implementasi pembelajaran daring mata pelajaran PJOK yaitu, berkurangnya jam belajar sehingga guru belum bisa sepenuhnya memenuhi beban belajar, koneksi internet yang terkadang mengalami gangguan. Faktor pendukung dalam implementasi pembelajaran daring mata pelajaran PJOK di antanya yaitu, satunya tersedianya perangkat elektronik seperti komputer, handphone, koneksi internet atau kuota belajar dari pemerintah kepada parass peserta didik.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitia ini adalah terjadinya kemunduran prestasi akibat pandemi covid-19, saat bertanding siswa mengalami kecemasan oleh karena perlu digambarkan mengenai strategi pelatih dalam mengatasi kecemasan menjelang pertandingan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui strategi pelatih dalam mengatasi kecemasan  menjelang pertandingan pada siswa ekstrakurikuler sepak bola SMA Negeri 1 Sekayu. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tringgulasi observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualititatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam mengatasi kecemasan pelatih ekstrakurikuler sepak bola SMA Negeri 1 Sekayu melaksanakan strategi baik secara kompetitif, kognitif dan somatic. Pelatih telah menjalankan strategi dimana kompetitif, telah menjalankan strategi kognitif dan belum menerapkan strategi somatic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas X Akhwat SMA IT Izzuddin Palembang materi teks biografi mengguanakan media pembelajaran aplikasi youtube. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang terdiri atas empat komponen, yaitu perencanaan (planning), tindakan (acting), pengamatan (observasing), dan refleksi (reflecting). Tindakan penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama dua siklus. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui angket, catatan lapangan, dan lembar pengamatan. Teknik analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif yang mencakup analisis data hasil. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I rata-rata 69,9% dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II yaitu siswa memperoleh rata-rata 82,1%. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X pada materi teks biografi. Siswa menjadi lebih berani bertanya mengenai teks biografi, berani menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh guru, berantusias dan berkosentrasi belajar saat pembelajaran teks biografi berlangsung. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa menggunakan aplikasi youtube dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X Akhwat SMA IT Izzuddin Palembang pada materi teks biografi.

Abstract

The development of sports is currently growing from time to time, many people enjoy sports activities. The development of sports is currently also being used by several sectors to develop, including the tourism sector. The aim of this research activity is to attract local tourist attractions by involving traditional sports in an area that has different characteristics and customs. This research is a qualitative study to look at the potential for traditional sports tourism in the Big Dipper Sailing (BIDAR) in the city of Palembang. The results of this research are that Bidar traditional sports have high potential for the tourist attraction of the city of Palembang.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the drama playing skills of class XI.2 students at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang, in the vocal and physical aspects. The form of variable that was used as the target of change in this research was drama playing skills (aspects of vocal and physical exercise), while the action variable used was the use of Oscar Brocket's drama playing technique. This type of research is a form of the Kemmis and McTaggart model of classroom action research (PTK), which consists of 1 cycle in 1 meeting. Each cycle consists of planning stages, taking action, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this research were 32 students in class XI.2 SMA Negeri 6 Palembang. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive techniques supported by quantitative data from pre-action and post-action questionnaires. The results of the comparison of the average score of drama play practice in pre-action and post-action in cycle I of meeting I. The average score of pre-action drama play was 10.8 (43.2%), and the average score of drama play using the Oscar Brocket technique in the exercise aspect post-action vocal and physical exercise in cycle I, meeting I, amounted to 20.6 (80.25%). So it can be concluded that the provision of action in the form of the Oscar Brocket drama technique for vocal and body exercise for students in class.

Abstract

The aim of PTK research is to improve skills in writing biographical texts using infographic media. The background for conducting this research was the low ability to write biographical texts for class X students at SMA IT Izzuddin Palembang. The research method used is quantitative. This research uses stages in PTK research, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The data analysis used in this research used comparative descriptive techniques and data collection in the form of tests and non-tests. Activities are carried out over two cycles and each cycle has one meeting. Based on this research, it was concluded that there was an increase in skills in writing biographical texts using infographic media in two stages and the average value increased for each cycle, namely cycle I (70.9) and cycle II (85.8). In cycle II activities, student behavior was classified as very good because there was a change in behavior of up to 95%. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an increase in both biographical text writing skills and changes in students' behavior towards a better direction during learning activities.
