Abstract

This research aims to determine learning outcomes by improving drama playing skills using the Oscar Brocket technique for class XI students at SMA Negeri 6 Palembang. In this research, data collection used test techniques. This increase in score shows that the implementation of actions in cycle I and cycle II was able to improve students' drama playing skills. The application of the Oscar Brocket technique is also able to provide motivation and enjoyment in the process of learning to play drama. Students look more enthusiastic and enthusiastic when playing drama. Before the implementation of the action, students still did not dare to express themselves, were less active, often joked with other students, and students still seemed hesitant to play the characters they presented so that the roles they played were less than optimal. After implementing the action, students become more expressive, more active, the learning process becomes conducive, and students no longer hesitate in playing the characters they present, students are even able to improvise in playing the characters.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of novel review writing for students of class XI MIPA 1 at SMA IT Izzuddin Palembang through the use of mind mapping learning methods. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The results showed an increase in students' ability to write novel reviews after applying the mind mapping learning method. In the first cycle, the average score of students was 80 with a classical completeness percentage of 53%. In the second cycle, the average score of students increased to 87 with a classical completeness percentage of 94%. The obstacles faced in the first cycle, such as students' difficulties in developing themes and keywords using mind maps, as well as converting the results of mind maps into coherent narratives, could be minimized in the second cycle through improvements to the lesson plan. Overall, the use of mind mapping learning methods can improve the ability to write novel reviews for students of class XI MIPA 1 at SMA IT Izzuddin Palembang. This method is able to assist students in developing their ideas, thoughts, and thoughts in a structured manner so that they can be expressed in the form of well-organized and systematic novel review writings.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of blocking and fortification games on the physical fitness level of elementary school students. The research method used was experimental using a two-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and the sample consisted of 54 students. Data collection techniques are 1) documents taken from the results of learning notes during the treatment delivery process, and 2) physical fitness tests is to know physical fitness level. The data analysis technique uses the t-test, but the data analysed must have a normal distribution so that the level of normality and homogeneity of the data is first tested. The t-test results for the Hadang and Bentengan games showed statistically significant increases in physical fitness (e.g., t = 29.105 for Hadang, t = 21.236 for Bentengan, both p 0.05)., so it can be concluded that there was an increase in physical fitness through the Bentengan game. Students' physical fitness levels experienced a significant increase in sprints, pull-ups, sit-ups, vertical jumps and short-distance running activities. The results of this research also have implications for the development of various types of traditional games for other physical fitness learning activities or other health, sports and physical fitness learning activities. Teachers can design types of games as teaching techniques and can be adjusted to the age needs of students such as for elementary or junior high school levels.

Abstract

This study aims to develop "English learning models through physical activities for elementary school children." This study is a development study by adopting the theory of Borg and Gall and its implementation up to the fourth stage. The results of the study indicate that the development of English learning models through physical activities has four models, namely sing lomhop, sing lewhop, sing lemhop and sing sunhop. The models that were declared feasible by 3 experts, namely learning experts, English material experts, and media experts were only two learning models, namely sing lomhop and sing lewhop. Furthermore, this model was applied to a small group trial at SDN 05 Sekayu City by researchers and observers and was declared applicable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur minat masyarakat terhadap wisata olahraga di Kota Kayuagung, mengidentifikasi jenis aktivitas yang sering dilakukan, dan menentukan hari-hari kunjungan terbanyak. Sebanyak 90 responden dipilih secara acak, dengan pembagian 30 responden di masing-masing lokasi: Stadion Segitiga Emas, Gedung Olahraga Biduk Kajang, dan Kolam Renang Griya Tirta. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan survei kuisioner dengan skala Likert (1-5). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingginya minat masyarakat terhadap wisata olahraga di ketiga lokasi tersebut. Jenis aktivitas yang paling sering dilakukan meliputi jogging, berenang, dan bermain bulu tangkis. Hari-hari kunjungan paling ramai adalah akhir pekan. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa wisata olahraga memiliki potensi besar untuk berkembang lebih lanjut di Kayuagung Kata Kunci: Wisata; Olahraga; Masyarakat; Minat masyarakat

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning medium for short storybooks of basic motion material for catching. The research method used is to adopt the research and development (R & D) model of Borg and Gall up to the 3rd stage, namely 1) Research and Information Collection, 2) Planning, 3) Develop Preliminary of Product Data collection using observation, questionnaires, and interviews, Data analysis techniques using qualitative and quantitative data. The stages start from (1) Research and information collecting, the results of the needs analysis show that there is a need for updates to make learning media in the form of short storybooks that are more innovative and interesting so that students learn data anywhere at any time without being limited by space and time. (2) Planning, making a research plan by forming a team according to the expertise needed to help develop research products. (3) Develop Preliminary of Product to create a model / design of learning book products that are outlined in interesting images and short stories to improve student reading literacy and theoretical feasibility tests by involving expert judgments,  namely learning experts, material experts and media experts.   Hasil research shows that Learning Media in the form of short storybooks of basic motion material for throwing is declared suitable for use in elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of touching cones training on the reaction speed of futsal goalkeepers at SMA PGRI 2 Palembang. The research method used was experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 6 active goalkeepers. The training program was conducted over 16 sessions, with a frequency of 4 times per week and a duration of 120 minutes per session. The instrument used was a visual reaction test measured using a digital stopwatch. The pretest results showed an average reaction time of 0.385 seconds, while the posttest results improved to an average of 0.22 seconds. The Shapiro-Wilk normality test indicated that the data were normally distributed (p > 0.05). The hypothesis test using the t-test resulted in a t-value (tcount) of 17.23369 and a t-table value (ttable) of 2.571 at a 5% significance level, meaning tcount > ttable, so the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This indicates a significant effect of touching cones training on improving the reaction speed of futsal goalkeepers. The training has proven effective in enhancing visual response speed to stimuli, which is crucial for goalkeeper performance. This research may serve as a reference for coaches in designing reaction-based training programs for futsal goalkeepers.

Abstract

Hasil belajar adalah sebuah kemampuan yang dimiliki siswa setelah ia menerima pengalaman belajarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari media audio visual terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V SDN 230 Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Variabel bebas dari penelitian ini yaitu media audio visual dan variabel terikat yaitu hasil belajar IPAS. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain postest control group design dengan sampel siswa kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hasil analisis data post test menunjukkan bawa rata-rata nilai eksperimen 80,83 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol dengan nilai rata-rata 43,04. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji-t, pada pengujian hipotesis diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel atau 0,05 > 0,455, berdasarkan uji independent sampel test-t pada penelitian ini diperoleh nilai sig (2-tailled) 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulan bahwa nilai signifikan lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha (terdapat pengaruh) diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh pada penggunaan media audio visual berbasis aplikasi canva terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V SDN 230 Palembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis tingkat kepuasan ibu-ibu dalam menggunakan sarana dan prasarana di OKAMI Fitness Palembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 20 orang ibu-ibu yang merupakan anggota aktif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner sebanyak 20 pernyataan menggunakan skala Likert yang mencakup lima aspek: kualitas produk/layanan, harapan pelanggan, persepsi terhadap kinerja, harga, serta pelayanan dan interaksi dengan staf. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan ibu-ibu secara umum berada pada kategori "Puas" dengan rata-rata skor 81,55%. Sebanyak 40% responden berada dalam kategori "Sangat Puas", dan 60% dalam kategori "Puas". Temuan ini didukung oleh observasi dan wawancara yang menunjukkan fasilitas yang lengkap, bersih, dan staf yang ramah. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sarana dan prasarana di OKAMI Fitness telah memenuhi harapan pengguna. Peneliti menyarankan agar pengelola menambah fasilitas pendukung, memperbanyak kelas kebugaran wanita, serta mengembangkan sistem layanan berbasis digital.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate community participation and satisfaction with the Engku Putri Square as an open sports space in the city of Batam to find out how far the government has implemented the National Sports System Law (UU SKN) through the two dimensions of the Sports Development Index (SDI). Case studies were chosen as an approach to achieve the objectives of this research. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documents. The interviewees were 16 community members who used the Engku Putri square as a place to exercise. Observations were made on daily sports activities, the condition of the facilities, and the atmosphere at the Engku Putri square. Document data was obtained from the relevant SKPD, namely the Public Works Department (DPU) Parks section, the Indonesian Community Recreational Sports Federation (FORMI) in the city of Batam, and the Internet. Data analysis uses a thematic analysis approach by reading data, grouping initial codes, determining themes, and writing reports. The results are presented through a description of the environmental characteristics of Engku Putri Square, Batam City, tabulated results of community participation and satisfaction in several themes. Participation is the initial discussion through calculating the SDI participation index with intermediate criteria. Meanwhile, satisfaction is categorized into four major themes, namely (1) quality and service, (2) price, (3) emotional factors, and (4) convenience. Each of them was at a satisfactory level with several inputs as follows: (1) the need for additional sports facilities in the Engku Putri square, Batam city, (2) attention to the maintenance of facilities in the Engku Putri town square, Batam city, and (3) observing cleanliness in the Engku Putri square, Batam city.
