Abstract

Readers can verify the information or read more about the topic. The bibliography also allows the author to retrace the steps that have been taken and find information that the author has used for the assignment and find further views or ideas discussed by the author. In fact, students have not been able to use the Mendeley application in writing citations and making a bibliography, whereas nowadays students are required to write articles that will be published in national journals before graduation. Therefore, Mendeley training is needed for fluency in article preparation, because all national journals demand to use of the Mendeley application in citation writing and making a bibliography. The purpose of this training is for students to be able to write good and correct citations and bibliography. Implementation Method The approach method used is direct training on proposals that have been prepared by students who are programming the final project. This training was carried out at the University of Flores for 8th-semester students of the mathematics education study program who programmed their final project. The total number of students who participated in the training was 20 people, requiring participants to bring their own laptops and proposals. The method is used in the form of lectures, practice question sessions, and answers. Participants are enthusiastic and motivated to take part in the training because the knowledge gained from this training will greatly assist participants in writing final assignments and articles. More than 80% of students are able to install applications and plug-in Ms. Word independently. However, some students still have difficulty registering the application using email. Students are expected to carry out continuous exercises so that they can apply Mendeley in the life of the scientific community.

Abstract

Online learning has become a problem for students and parents since the Covid-19 pandemic. Carrying out tutoring of mathematics for students is an alternative problem-solving done by lecturers in the mathematics education study program, at the University of Flores. Home tutoring activities are carried out at RT 003 Paupire sub-district, Ende Tengah District, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 16.00-17.30 WITA. The participants are elementary school students who live in RT 003. Methods of implementation include lectures, question and answer/discussion, assignments, and evaluation methods. Based on the results of observation and evaluation of learning at each meeting and every week it was found that students were motivated in learning and obtained increased learning outcomes.

Abstract

This community service activity aims at increasing English learning motivation through games. English learning methods used in Rumah Baca Sukacita are the Simon Says Game, Taboo Game and Four in Row Game. This activity is held at Rumah Baca Sukacita Ende and consists of three groups; the group early childhood education and Kindergarten, the Group Elementary School and the group Junior High School. This activity had three stages namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. The result of this activity showed positive activity. Result of this activity shows that the learning process using games can increase motivation in English vocabulary, self-confidence, and participation in learning English.

Abstract

Woven fabric is a decorative variety in Indonesia that is widespread in every region of the archipelago from Sabang to Merauke, characterized by various motifs, patterns, colors and meanings. Woven cloth developed in East Nusa Tenggara is a craft art that has been taught to children and grandchildren from generation to generation. However, it is a shame because currently most of the younger generation cannot weave. This will have an impact on the extinction of ikat fabrics. Efforts made to ensure that woven fabric does not become extinct are by re-preserving its existence and re-introducing its use. One way to preserve it is by recycling woven fabric patchwork waste into products in the form of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, hairpins, brooches, bags and hats which have several benefits such as preserving local cultural products, namely typical Flores woven fabrics. In an effort to produce products, of course there are stages, namely the preparation stage of materials and tools, the production stage, packaging to marketing and then continuing with product marketing techniques.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine whether the role of Good Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Financial Performance, and company size  has an impact on business assessment and risk, and whether  this can be seen if the moderating variable is used as a link. The period used is from 2019 to 2023. The sample was taken from transportation and logistics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange using STATA software. Data processing used a quantitative approach, multiple linear regression analysis, and moderation regression. The results indicate that company size has no significant impact, while GCG, CSR, and KK have a significant positive impact. Overall, the impact of these four variables is significant, with an R² value of 44.67%. When business risk is added as a moderating variable, the adjusted R² value increases to 60.74%, which means that business risk strengthens the existing model. Business risk proves that the relationship between CGC and company value produces negative moderation, while CSR and company value produce positive moderation.

Abstract

he objective of this study is to analyze the language development of a 1-year-7-month-old child named Ary, with a focus on phonological and semantic aspects. The research was conducted through a three-month observation period, during which interactions between Ary and his surroundings, particularly his mother, were meticulously documented.The findings indicate that, in the phonological aspect, Ary has demonstrated the ability to produce various words, although there are pronunciation errors such as with the letters "L" and "R" (puyang for ennen, kokok for rokok). These errors are typical and reflect the articulation development process at his age. In the semantic aspect, the child has begun to demonstrate an understanding and use of words with more complex meanings, such as api for "hot" and amen for "prayer."The study also found that communication strategies such as motherese, recasting, echoing, and expanding play a crucial role in supporting the child's language development. These strategies provide linguistic stimulation that helps the child enrich his vocabulary, improve his pronunciation, and build simple sentence structures. The study's findings underscore the pivotal role of social interaction, particularly that of parents, in facilitating children's language development.These findings resonate with the theories propounded by Vygotsky and Brunner, which accentuate the significance of environmental support and the sociocultural context in attaining optimal language development.
