Abstract

Purpose: The goal of this study is to find out how much students' ability to speak Arabic (maharah kalam) improves when they use the Total Physical Response (TPR) method to learn Arabic at class VII-A Islamic Junior High School or MTsN (4) in Jombang, Indonesia, as well as what factors help and hurt their progress. Design/ methods/approach: This study used spiral system classroom action research. This research followed the Hopkins model research design, starting with preliminary acts, then planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research cycled twice. Cycle II improved on cycle I's incomplete evaluation results. Cycle I reflection determined Cycle II improvements. This study yielded qualitative and quantitative data. Quantitative data comes from teacher observations, student interviews, and field notes. Student activities and post-learning evaluations provide quantitative data. The data came from students of class VII-A Islamic Junior High School (4) in Jombang, Indonesia. This study used observation, testing, and field notes. Data analysis completed a study. Interviews, field notes, student evaluations, and teacher observations were assessed. Instructor observations, interviews, and field notes shaped conclusions. Data analyzed student evaluation and activities. Findings: The results showed (1) With the TPR learning method, the score of the test results in the first stage at the end of learning maharah kalam Arabic averaged 60.98%, which is so good. After being given directions back in the second stage, it reached an average of 72 % or with good criteria; (2) The supporting factors that influence speaking activities are language (linguistic) and non-linguistic (non-linguistic), while the inhibiting factors are more dominant to the lack of mastery of mufradat

Abstract

Nahwu is one of the critical knowledge of Arabic because nahwu is a rule, parameter of authenticity, and clues to the meaning of Arabic, so knowing nahwu is a must for people who learn Arabic. Nahwu has several madhhabs, each with its characteristics, characters, and opinions. Among the most popular nahwu madhhab is the nahwu Basrah madhhab. The researcher chose the nahwu Basrah madhhab as the theme of this research to reveal the advantages of other madhhabs and the views that emerged from the Basrah madhhab. This research intends to discover several things: 1) the importance of nahwu Basrah madhhab and its development; 2) the influence of nahwu Basrah in learning Arabic. In his research, Researchers in conducting their research used the literature study method, namely by reviewing several books related to themes such as the book al-Kitab, Jami' al-Durus, Syarh ibn Aqil, etc. as well as collecting important information contained by several sources, and detailing it then analyzing it, and finally drawing conclusions. The research findings show that 1) nahwu is the rule by which the ins and outs of Arabic words are known after being arranged on jumlah, and nahwu has a vital role in the use of good Arabic far from mistakes; 2) Among the popular nahwu madhhab is the Basrah madhhab because it has several advantages, including detail in the rules, being careful in the istinbath, and being vital in arguments. Taking advantage of the discussions of nahwu Basrah in learning Arabic is considered an ideal step because the debate is closer to the primary Arabic sources.

Abstract

Literary appreciation is the real goal in learning Balaghah. So we need a balaghah learning module that can harmonize balaghah learning with the real goal, namely the appreciation of literature. This research is intended to: 1) reveal the steps of making assignment-based Balaghah learning modules to improve Literary Appreciation; 2) Measure the effectiveness of using assignment-based Balaghah learning modules as an effort to increase literary appreciation. The researcher uses a qualitative and quantitative approach with the design of the Borg and Gall R&D research method which is simplified into six steps, namely: needs analysis, design of teaching materials, validity from experts, revisions, field tests, and refinement of modules as textbooks. The data collection methods used by researchers are observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation studies. The results of this study: 1) The realization of the Balaghah learning module along with its characteristics and advantages, namely a module that can increase assignment-based literary appreciation in the learning process so that students can communicate and apply Arabic language skills with beautiful language and literary styles. 2) The Balaghah learning module developed is proven to be effective in increasing literary appreciation, based on the conclusion that the t-test with a level of 9,000 is greater than t-table 2.101 and a significance value of 0.000 is less than alpha of 0.050, from this it shows that there is a clear difference after the application assignment-based Balaghah Science Learning module to increase literary appreciation at the Adnan Al-Charis Islamic Boarding School Bojonegoro

Abstract

ABSTRACTIn a community unfamiliar with the study of the Arabic language, it is perceived as foreign and challenging to learn. This is largely due to the absence of early exposure to Arabic. However, members of this community frequently encounter Arabic texts as the medium of the Qur'an, translated into Indonesian. Consequently, their understanding of these texts relies on translations, leading to incomplete and superficial comprehension, ultimately resulting in deviations in the application of the Qur'an's content. This situation arises due to the lack of efforts to introduce Arabic at a foundational level, which could enhance their understanding of the Qur'anic texts. To practice and apply the teachings, it is essential to comprehend the meanings of the words used. This understanding can only be achieved through learning the Arabic language. Therefore, training in the basic principles of Arabic is necessary to comprehend the Qur'an and apply its teachings in daily life. The outcomes of this initiative are promising, with the teachers at MADIN Tashfiyatul Huda Ngemplak Baureno displaying enthusiasm and experiencing improvement in their conversational skills. They can now articulate everyday sentences correctly and fluently, demonstrating proficiency in engaging in discussions with students at MADIN Tashfiyatul Huda. Keywords: Muhadatsah, Teacher, Madin. ABSTRAKDalam sekelompok masyarakat yang awam di bidang kajian bahasa Arab, mereka memandang bahasa Arab adalah bahasa yang asing dan sulit dipelajari, hal tersebut dikarenakan sejak dini tidak ada yang memperkenalkan bahasa Arab kepada mereka. Namun sering kali masyarakat awam dihadapkan pada teks-teks berbahasa Arab yang menjadi medium bahasa al-Qur’an yang sudah diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia, sehingga mereka dalam memahami teks tersebut berdasarkan hasil dari terjemahan, hal tersebut berakibat pada pemahaman yang kurang utuh dan mendalam sehingga berujung pada penyimpangan dalam pengamalan isi kandungan al-Qur’an. Kondisi tersebut disebabkan tidak adanya upaya pengenalan bahasa Arab pada tingkat dasar yang dapat memperbaiki pemahaman mereka akan teks al-Qur’an. Untuk dapat mengamalkannya tentu kita harus mampu memahami makna kata yang ada. Untuk dapat memahami makna kata tersebut, tentunya dengan mempelajari bahasa, yaitu bahasa Arab. Untuk mempelajari bahasa Arab diperlukan pelatihan kaidah dasar bahasa Arab sebagai sarana dalam memahami al-Qur’an serta dapat mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah Guru MADIN Tashfiyatul Huda Ngemplak Baureno antusias dan mengalami peningkatan dalam maharah kalamnya. Mereka mampu melafalkan kalimat yang dipakai sehari-hari dengan benar dan lancar, dan juga bisa mempraktekkan muhadatsah kepada murid di MADIN Tashfiyatul Huda dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Muhadatsah, Guru, Madin.

Abstract

Mining cryptocurrencies on the blockchain is a method for collecting crypto by breaking secret codes compiled with mathematical algorithm equations. Miners will receive rewards in the form of digital coins according to the amount of crypto mined and the type of crypto, this is because each crypto has its own level of difficulty. Crypto includes electronic money (e-money), where the use of e-money as a medium of exchange in modern transactions is still being debated among contemporary scholars about its legitimacy. Two things that become the problem are (1) what is the mechanism for mining cryptocurrency on the blockchain, (2) how is the review of Islamic Economic Law on cryptocurrency mining on the blockchain. The purpose of this study is to describe and explain cryptocurrency mining practices on the blockchain and to find out the review of Islamic Economic Law on cryptocurrency mining. This research is a qualitative research by collecting data and information through interviews. The data sources include primary data sources, namely interviews with crypto miners, secondary data sources, namely books, journals, theses, scientific papers and other written works. While the tertiary data comes from dictionaries, encyclopedias, and related articles. This research data collection method obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation. While the method used to analyze the data is a qualitative analysis method using the theory of mining, al-mal, and ju'alah. From the research results it is known: (1) The cryptocurrency mining mechanism on the blockchain is carried out with a supercomputer facilitated by a GPU, FPGA or ASIC by using certain scripts on the BTC/ETH network to find new blocks containing crypto to get rewards (sell). (2) According to the Sharia Economic Law review of mining cryptocurrency on the blockchain, crypto reward (ju'al) results can be accepted as assets according to the definition of the Hanafiyyah scholars, Ibn Abidin, Imam az-Zaila'i, Imam al-Syatibi, Ibn Arabi and Syafii scholars. However, it is not accepted as a means of payment like conventional money (gharar, dharar, qimar), but both must comply with the conditions and limits set by the Shari'a, this is stated in the Fatwa of the National Sharia Council-Indonesian Ulema Council No: 116/DSN-MUI/ IX/2017 concerning Sharia Electronic Money.

Abstract

Balaghah learning is one of the Arabic language learning families that Arabic learners must understand and learn. The learning process of Balaghah at the An-Najiyah Bahrul Ulum Jombang Islamic Boarding School, which is still monotonous, affects the low thinking ability of students and the results of cognitive abilities. Therefore, to prepare individuals with creative thinking skills in solving problems, efforts are needed to make it happen, one of which is using a synectic learning model. The purpose of this study was to: (1) find out the results of the cognitive abilities of Balaghah learning before the synectic learning model was applied to the students of the An-Najiyah Islamic Boarding School Bahrul Ulum Jombang, (2) find out the results of the cognitive abilities of Balaghah learning after applying the synectic learning model to the students of the An-Najiyah Islamic Boarding School -Najiyah Bahrul Ulum Jombang, (3) knowing the results of evaluating the use of synectic learning models in Balaghah learning on the cognitive abilities of the students of An-Najiyah Bahrul Ulum Jombang Islamic Boarding School. This research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach. The research design used the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sampling technique is Probability Sampling and how to determine the sample by random cluster sampling. Data collection techniques using test instruments and documentation. The instrument's validity uses content validity with the results of the data being declared valid—instrument reliability using the alpha cronbach technique. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The prerequisite test uses the normality test and homogeneity test. Test the hypothesis using the T-test. The results showed that: (1) the pre-test results for the control class obtained an average of 36.4, with the highest score of 60 and the lowest score of 20. Meanwhile, the average pre-test for the experimental class was 36, with the highest score of 60 and the lowest score of 20. (2) ) the average post-test result for the control class was 66.4, with the highest score being 90 and the lowest score being 30. Meanwhile, the average post-test in the experimental class was 79.2, with the highest score being 100 and the lowest being 40. (3) there was an influence of the learning model synectic on the cognitive abilities of Balaghah learning in An-Najiyah Bahrul Ulum Jombang Islamic Boarding School students. Based on the results of the t-test, namely 0.887 < 1.994 or t count < t table on the post-test results of the experimental and control classes. This shows that the synectic learning model affects the cognitive abilities of students.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the level of self-efficacy of Arabic teachers to become driving teachers. Researchers used a survey method. The data collection technique was carried out using a non-test instrument: a closed questionnaire containing three aspects of self-efficacy. The sample in this study was 14 Arabic teachers spread across Kediri Residency. The data analysis technique uses the Rasch Model, assisted by the Minister 5.6.1.0 application. The data findings show that the instrument's reliability is a logit figure of 0.98 (perfect) and a Cronbach Alpha logit figure of 0.90 (very high). The validity of the instrument shows that the average MNSQ (Mean Square) outfit is 1.02, and the average ZSTD (Z-standard) outfit is -0.3 (valid). Regarding instrument difficulty level, three statements are classified as easy, three as medium, ten as complex, and three as very difficult. Respondent R9P showed the highest respondent ability, while respondent R7L showed the lowest ability. Arabic teachers' magnitude, strength, and generality percentages are 79%, 74%, and 85%. The average percentage level of self-efficacy of Arabic teachers in Kediri residency is 91%, which is classified as very high)

Abstract

Hasan Langgulung is a thinker who is quite influential and has contributed significantly to the development of Islamic education in Indonesia and outside Indonesia. He is one of the thinkers of contemporary Islamic education, where he has contributed ideas that have been contained in several books that are thick with the study of Islamic education. Langulung thought has an exciting style and characteristic to study, especially about the development of Islamic education felt, by reviewing several aspects of its field of expertise, namely education, psychology, language, history, and philosophy. The purpose of this study 1) To determine the concept of Islamic education thought according to Hasan Langgulung. 2) To determine the implementation of Hasan Langgulung's Islamic educational thought in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was done by interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis was done through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that 1) the thought of Islamic education, according to Langgulung, emphasises the word at-trading, namely, educating humans. The education process should pay attention to the basics of humanity, consider students intelligent creatures of God, and have the right to receive an education. Respect, love and guidance. 2) According to Hasan Langgulung, the Islamization of science must be carried out due to several factors that cannot be avoided, first, the current globalisation, which emphasises science and technology; second, the science of the Qur'an explains a lot about science; this is efforts to prove that all knowledge comes from the Qur'an and hadith.

Abstract

Nahwu Madhhab Kufah di Indonesia secara tidak langsung sudah diterapkan di Pondok Pesantren namun tanpa disadari oleh para pembelajar Nahwu, dan juga Penerapannya dalam pembelajaran Nahwu dapat menambah khazanah keilmuan dalam bidang bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implikasi dari Nahwu Madhhab Kufah terhadap peningkatan Maharah Nahwiyah di Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas VII-C dan VII-D di MTsN 3 Jombang. Instrumen yang digunakan mencakup pretest dan posttest, sementara analisis data dilakukan dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata prestasi belajar (post-test) siswa di kelas eksperimen mencapai 89,02, sedangkan di kelas kontrol sebesar 81,46. Dari hasil rata-rata tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran Nahwu dengan menggunakan Nahwu Madhhab Kufah memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran yang tidak menggunakan pendekatan tersebut. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran dengan Nahwu Madhhab Kufah menjadi salah satu cara untuk mencapai hasil belajar yang baik dan tinggi dalam pembelajaran Nahwu.

Abstract

Khitobah is one form of activity in Arabic language learning that can enhance the quality of Arabic language education in the modern era. Literature studies are conducted to explore the role of khitobah in improving the quality of Arabic language education. This study involves literature analysis of articles, books, and journals related to khitobah and Arabic language learning. The results of this study indicate that khitobah plays a significant role in enhancing Arabic speaking skills and understanding of Arab culture. Khitobah activities can train contextual Arabic speaking skills and build confidence in speaking. Additionally, khitobah can also help students understand Arab culture through the themes discussed in speeches. In the modern era, khitobah can be implemented in Arabic language learning through the use of technology and educational innovations. This research recommends the use of khitobah in modern-era Arabic language education to improve the quality of Arabic language education.Abstrak: Khitobah merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan bahasa Arab di era modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka untuk mendalami peran khitobah dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Analisis literatur dilakukan terhadap artikel, buku, dan jurnal yang relevan dengan khitobah serta pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa khitobah memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab sekaligus pemahaman terhadap budaya Arab. Melalui kegiatan khitobah, peserta didik dapat melatih keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab secara kontekstual dan membangun rasa percaya diri dalam berkomunikasi. Selain itu, khitobah juga dapat membantu peserta didik memahami budaya Arab melalui tema-tema yang diangkat dalam pidato. Di era modern, khitobah dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab melalui pemanfaatan teknologi dan inovasi pendidikan. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan khitobah dalam pendidikan bahasa Arab di era modern guna mendukung peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa Arab.
