Abstract

This study examines the influence of charismatic leadership in terms of transformation of Islamic educational institutions, focusing on the analysis of effectiveness and obstacles faced. Using a qualitative approach and literature study methods and content analysis, this study seeks information on how charismatic leadership styles affect organizational change, stakeholder motivation, and the achievement of educational goals. The findings show that charismatic leadership plays an important role in driving positive change through strong vision and motivational abilities. However, there are problems with over-reliance on leaders and difficulties in replacing existing leadership. This means that this study can help to improve more effective leadership models in the world of Islamic education. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh kepemimpinan karismatik dalam hal transformasi lembaga pendidikan Islam, dengan fokus pada analisis efektivitas dan kendala yang dihadapi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi pustaka serta analisis isi, penelitian ini mencari informasi tentang bagaimana gaya kepemimpinan karismatik mempengaruhi perubahan organisasi, motivasi pemangku kepentingan, dan pencapaian tujuan pendidikan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan karismatik memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong perubahan positif melalui visi yang kuat dan kemampuan motivasi. Namun, ada masalah dengan ketergantungan yang berlebihan pada pemimpin dan kesulitan dalam mengganti kepemimpinan yang ada. Artinya, penelitian ini dapat membantu meningkatkan model kepemimpinan yang lebih efektif dalam dunia pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Contingency leadership, which is a flexible approach, emphasizes the importance of adjusting your leadership style to specific circumstances. Adaptive leadership is necessary in dynamic modern organizations due to technological advancements, globalization, and market demands. By considering the relationship between leaders, teams, and situations, this theory becomes a solution to address organizational problems. This research examines the effectiveness of contingency leadership in the fields of technology, education, and manufacturing through interviews and literature review. The research shows that team performance, organizational efficiency, and adaptability improve with contingency leadership. However, there are several challenges, such as a lack of training and difficulty in identifying situational needs. Based on this research, organizations should implement leader flexibility and contingency leadership training. ABSTRAKKepemimpinan kontingensi, yang merupakan pendekatan yang fleksibel, menekankan betapa pentingnya menyesuaikan gaya kepemimpinan dengan keadaan tertentu. Kepemimpinan yang adaptif diperlukan dalam organisasi modern yang dinamis karena perkembangan teknologi, globalisasi, dan tuntutan pasar. Dengan mempertimbangkan hubungan antara pemimpin, tim, dan situasi, teori ini menjadi solusi untuk mengatasi masalah organisasi. Penelitian ini melihat seberapa efektif kepemimpinan kontingensi di bidang teknologi, pendidikan, dan manufaktur melalui wawancara dan penelitian literatur. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja tim, efisiensi organisasi, dan kemampuan adaptasi meningkat dengan kepemimpinan kontingensi. Namun, ada beberapa tantangan, seperti kekurangan pelatihan dan kesulitan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan situasional. Menurut penelitian ini, fleksibilitas pemimpin dan pelatihan kepemimpinan kontingensi harus diterapkan dalam organisasi.

Abstract

Job satisfaction of employees is one of the successes for a person who leads an organization. A leader is appointed based on the results of his hard work during his previous work, of course as a leader is appointed because of his work that is considered good and trusted from the organization. Employee job satisfaction can be seen from the leader's treatment of them. The purpose of the study is to analyze whether the situational leadership style affects the job satisfaction of employees in carrying out their duties. By using the literature review study method, data obtained from books and several previous studies. Situational leadership affects job satisfaction. Most employees are more likely to like the situational leadership style because it can make it easier for employees to make work plans for the organization and control employees to prevent unwanted things. Therefore, good leadership in environmental adjustment often leads to job satisfaction. ABSTRAKKepemimpinan merupakan elemen penting dalam pengelolaan organisasi, termasuk dalam konteks pendidikan. Peran seorang pemimpin tidak hanya menentukan arah kebijakan tetapi juga mempengaruhi suasana kerja, kualitas pendidikan, dan pencapaian tujuan lembaga. Dalam studi kepemimpinan, berbagai teori telah dikembangkan untuk memahami bagaimana kepemimpinan yang efektif dapat dicapai. Dua teori yang sangat berpengaruh adalah Teori Sifat dan Teori Perilaku. Kepuasan kerja dari pegawai merupakan salah satu keberhasilan bagi seorang yang memimpin suatu organisasi. Seorang pemimpin ditunjuk berdasarkan hasil dari kerja kerasnya selama dia bekerja sebelumnya, tentu sebagai seorang pemimpin ditunjuk karena hasil kerjanya yang dianggap baik dan dipercaya dari organisasi tersebut. Kepuasan kerja pegawai dapat dilihat dari perlakuan pemimpinnya terhadap mereka. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis apakah gaya kepemimpinan situasional mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja pegawainya daIam melaksankan tugas. Dengan menggunakan metode studi literature review, data yang diperoleh dari buku dan beberapa penelitian terdahulu. Kepemimpinan situasional berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kebanyakan dari pegawai lebih cenderung menyukai gaya kepemimpinan situasional karena dapat membuat kemudahan dari pegawai untuk membuat perencanaan kerja bagi organisasi dan daIam mengontrol pegawai daIam mencegah hal yang tidak diinginkan. Oleh karena itu kepemimpinan yang baik dalam penyesuaian lingkungan sering kali mengarah pada kepuasan kerja.

Abstract

To achieve the quality of educational services that is in line with national standards, school principals must implement an approach. School principals are expected to be able to achieve educational goals in an effective and efficient manner. Being able to encourage the organization's human resources, teaching staff, school employees and students to complete their respective responsibilities is a form of school principal leadership. To move parts of the organization, an approach is needed that is appropriate to the education system, namely the helper leader style. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach. The research was conducted through interviews with school principals as respondents, and the results were adjusted to theoretical analysis from literature data. Data reduction techniques, such as analyze, select, and discard, support the veracity of this data. The research results show that there are six servant leadership models, namely: Value people, develop people, build community, display authentic, provide leadership, and share leadership. And the characteristics of servant leadership: listening, fulfilling, empathy, healing, self-awareness, persuasion and conceptualization. ABSTRAKUntuk mencapai kualitas layanan pendidikan yang sesuai dengan taraf nasional, kepala sekolah harus menerapkan pendekatan. Kepala sekolah diharapkan dapat mencapai tujuan pendidikan dengan cara yang efektif dan efisien. Mampu mendorong sumber daya manusia organisasi tenaga pendidik, karyawan sekolah, dan siswa untuk menyelesaikan tanggung jawabnya masing-masing adalah bentuk kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Untuk menggerakkan bagian-bagian organisasi, diperlukan pendekatan yang sesuai dengan sistem pendidikan, yaitu gaya pemimpin pembantu. Studi ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan kepala sekolah sebagai responden, dan hasilnya disesuaikan dengan analisis teori dari data kepustakaan. Teknik reduksi data, seperti menganalisis, memilih, dan membuang, mendukung kebenaran data ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat enam model servant leadership yaitu: Value people, develop people, build community, display authentic, provide leadership, dan share leadership. Dan karakteristik servant leadership: mendengarkan, memenuhi, empati, penyembuhan, kesadaran diri, persuasi dan konseptualisasi.

Abstract

This study examines three major leadership theories: Trait Theory, Behavioral Theory, and Situational Theory, as well as their application in educational management, particularly in the context of Islamic education. Trait Theory emphasizes the innate characteristics of a leader, Behavioral Theory focuses on behavioral patterns that can be learned, while Situational Theory highlights the importance of leadership flexibility in adapting leadership styles to specific conditions and situations. The analysis reveals that each theory has its own strengths and weaknesses, but the application of Situational Theory is considered the most effective as it allows leaders to adapt to the needs and challenges they encounter. This study also emphasizes the importance of integrating modern leadership theories with spiritual and moral values in Islamic education to make leadership more relevant and effective

Abstract

The existing Lampung Indigenous Peoples Pepadun in Tigeneneng sub-district, Kab. Pesawaran, adheres to a patrilneal kinship system. This means that the oldest son is an absolute heir in the implementation and management of inheritance with the highest customary title, namely balancing. Whereas for the female heirs, they were not given the right of authority in management, because in the adat of Lampung Province the daughters were considered unable to manage inheritance and daughters when they were married, so they would change their customary titles and would follow their husbands. This type of research is a field using a qualitative approach by analyzing data inductively. The result of this research is that the system applied in the distribution of inheritance rights to the eldest child in the Lampung tribal community, is clearly very contrary to the principle of gender equality and justice. Juridically normative equality and gender justice have been regulated in Islamic Law and International Convention (CEDAW). Even though juridically, girls have the same rights as boys in managing inheritance left by both parents.

Abstract

KUPI Muslim feminists are born from religious leaders who are sensitive to women's issues. They examine religious texts from a gender perspective, balancing the roles between patriarchal traditions and equality education, on the basis that Islam teaches inclusive justice for all humans. This paper uses a qualitative method with a social approach through Coleman's rational choice theory as an analytical tool on the data findings. The findings in this paper show that the KUPI Muslim feminist movement is based on rational choices constructed through Islamic religious values sourced from sacred texts with a scientific and experiential lens. Rational choice based on religious values raises the concept of rational religion choice. Their movement aims to reconstruct patriarchal domination in religion, and promote gender-inclusive religion through re-reading sacred texts with various holistic and contextual approaches to develop a new epistemology in Islam in feminism. To optimize their goals, they utilize human resources through organizations affiliated with KUPI, as well as online media to spread their ideas. The KUPI Muslim feminist movement reconstructs gender-inclusive Islam through religious rationality, organizational advocacy, and the use of digital media.

Abstract

The stock market is characterized by high volatility and complexity, making it an intriguing and challenging subject for researchers and practitioners. This study aims to predict stock prices by comparing the performance of two machine learning models: Random Forest Regression and Support Vector Regression (SVR). These models were selected for their ability to handle complex data and high volatility. The dataset used in this study consists of BNI stock data over the last five years (2019–2024), comprising a total of 1,211 data points. Testing was conducted using a cross-validation approach, and model performance was evaluated based on several metrics, including MSE, R², RMSE, MAPE, MAE, and Score. The results indicate that Random Forest Regression outperforms SVR. The model achieved an MAE of 17.766, an RMSE of 22.376, and an R² of 0.997. These findings suggest that Random Forest Regression is more effective in predicting stock prices, particularly in unstable market conditions. This study recommends Random Forest Regression as a reliable model for stock price prediction, with potential applications in other stock markets with similar characteristics.

Abstract

Abstract: In educational institutions, a manager's effectiveness depends on influence on superiors and co-workers as well as influence on subordinates. Influence in one direction tends to increase influence in the other direction. And in educational institutions the principal plays an important role who must overcome and control power. Then, managing a school is not just a man, even a woman can also manage a school. Many womans leadership roles today in Indonesia and abroad have been successful in the field of education. Power and Influence are the essence of leadership. To be effective as a leader, it is important to influence people to carry out requests, support proposals, and implement decisions. In this article the author examines the Leadership Power of Special Regional Private Islamic School womans who overcome and use power regarding the events they experience. By using qualitative research methods to directly interview the school principal in order to find out how much power he has to make decisions in dealing with an obstacle or problem. Keywords: Woman Leader, School Principal, Power, Qualitative. Abstrak: Dalam lembaga pendidkan, efektivitas manajer bergantung pada pengaruh terhadap atasan dan rekan kerja serta pengaruh terhadap bawahan. Pengaruh dalam satu arah cenderung meningkatkan pengaruh ke arah lain. Dan dalam lembaga pendidikan kepala sekolah sebagai peran penting yang harus mengatasi dan menguasai kekuasaan. Kemudian, mengelolaan sekolah tidak hanya seorang lelaki bahkan seorang perampuan juga bisa mengelolaan sekolah. Banyak peran pemimpin parampuan di zaman sekarang di Indonesia maupun di luar negara yang telah sukses dalam bidang pendidikan. Kekuasaan dan Pengaruh adalah inti dari kepemimpinan agar efektif sebagai seorang pemimpin, penting untuk mempengaruhi orang-orang agar melaksanakan permintaan, mendukung usulan, dan melaksanakan keputusan. Dalam artikel ini penulis meneliti Kekuasaan Kepemimpinan Perampuan Sekolah Islam Swasta Daerah Khusus yang mengatasi dan menggunakan kekusaan terhadap peristiwa yang dia alami. Dengan mengunakan metode penelitian kualitatif untuk lansung wawancara kepada kepala sekolah tersebut agar dapat tau bagaimana kekuasaan yang dia miliki untuk mengambil keputusan dalam menghadapi sebuah kendala atau masalah. Kata Kunci: Pemimpin Perampuan, Kepala Sekolah, Kekuasaan, Kualitatif.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the influence of Thai royal power and politics on private Islamic schools in Southern Thailand, especially in the Patani area of Southern Thailand. Educational policies implemented by the Thai government often reflect broader political interests, which impact the Islamic education system. Muslim communities in Southern Thailand face challenges in maintaining Islamic identity and educational values amidst policies that tend to integrate national culture and Buddhism. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method to collect data from various sources related to education policy and social dynamics in the region. Keywords: Power, Politics, Private Islamic Schools, Islamic Education, Southern                  Thailand. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kekuasaan dan politik kerajaan Thailand terhadap sekolah Islam swasta di Thailand Selatan, khususnya di daerah Patani Thailand Selatan. Kebijakan pendidikan yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah Thailand seringkali mencerminkan kepentingan politik yang lebih luas, yang berdampak pada sistem pendidikan Islam. Masyarakat Muslim di Thailand Selatan menghadapi tantangan dalam mempertahankan identitas dan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam di tengah kebijakan yang cenderung mengintegrasikan budaya nasional dan Buddhisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur untuk mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber terkait kebijakan pendidikan dan dinamika sosial di wilayah tersebut. Kata kunci: Kekuasaan, Politik, Sekolah Islam Swasta, Pendidikan Islam, Thailand Selatan.
