Abstract

The Korean Wave, or the cultural wave originating from Korea, became a significant phenomenon in Indonesia in the recent years. Its popularity, especially among the youth, surged alongside the emergence of Korean dramas and K-Pop music. Given this phenomenon, the researchers were interested in examining how the Korean Wave influences shared lifestyle and fashion choices of the young people, particularly in Jakarta, one of the cities with the largest K-Pop fan base in Indonesia. This study employed a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The data were collected through observations and interviews with five respondents who are K-Pop and Korean Drama enthusiasts in Jakarta. The findings indicate that although each respondent has a unique styles and preferences, they share similar preferences in lifestyle and fashion due to the influence of the Korean Wave, such as get highly motivated, be more expressive, more realistic, and more confident. This influence is supported by the dissemination of information related to Korean lifestyle and fashion through social media.

Abstract

Epistemic communities were emphasized in constructivism discourse as powerful emerging non-state actors that can drive policies in international domains. The rise of scientific consortiums in policymaking has driven policy directions by using scientific standards. Other realms in international relations also recognize the roles of scientific communities other than creating standards to fix global challenges, such as to serve states’ interests and cooperation tools. This study aims to investigate which realm of epistemic communities are more prevalent. The tools and conditions for influential epistemic communities were also not sufficiently investigated. By using a systematic literature review (SLR) that is overlooked in international relations studies, this paper organized previous databases that use primary data on epistemic communities. The result of this paper shows epistemic communities are the most prevalent in creating scientific standards to address global challenges. Some tools that used were knowledge transfers, training, research collaborations, and networking funding. However, other studies also found that scientific consortiums may be used to legitimize the status quo. In sensitive issues like transboundary pollution, more distrust was found. This study eventually draws some limitations and agenda for future studies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi PGPR, pupuk anorganik, dan vermikompos terhadap diameter dan panjang batang tanaman tebu. Kegiatan dilakukan di lahan penelitian PTPN XI Sukosari Lumajang pada bulan Oktober 2019 sampai Mei 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial dengan faktor pertama ialah PGPR (P), perlakuan PGPR (P) terdiri dari 3 taraf perlakuan yaitu P0= tanpa PGPR; P1= PGPR 5 ml/L air; P2= PGPR 10 ml/L air dan faktor kedua ialah pemupukan (V), dimana V0= tanpa pemupukan; V1= 100% pupuk anorganik; V2= 50% pupuk anorganik + vermikompos 10 ton/ha. Parameter pengamatan meliputi diameter dan panjang batang tebu dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dengan uji lanjut BNT pada taraf 5%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan tanpa PGPR + pupuk anorganik 50% (P0V2) menunjukkan pengaruh terbaik terhadap diameter batang dan perlakuan PGPR 5 ml/L air + pupuk anorganik 100% (P1V1) menunjukkan hasil terbaik terhadap panjang batang tebu.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease that requires dietary management. One of the diet strategies is a high consumption of antioxidants and fiber contained in red beans and black beans. The purpose of this article is to prove that red beans and black beans can treat diabetes mellitus. The method is a systematic review using the PRISMA protocol and JBI's Critical Appraisal Tools. The source of the article is experimental studies published in the last 10 years (2013-2023) in Google Scholar, Pubmed, and Science Direct databases. The results showed that red beans and black beans are rich in antioxidants and fiber. Antioxidants and fiber are known to reduce blood glucose levels and increase insulin levels. The conclusion of this article is red beans and black beans can treat diabetes mellitus. The suggestion of this review is that better to increase the daily dose of red beans and black beans consumption to treat diabetes.

Abstract

Leadership is an individual's personal ability that plays an important role in bringing the organisation to its goals. The complexity of the environment of modern society, along with the pressure of competition between educational institutions, the increasing expectations of parents and the need to introduce changes in the process of working in Islamic educational institutions led to a great deal of interest in agile management methods. Al Ghazali and Ibn Khaldun are great figures who pay great attention to the world of education, including the concept of educational leadership. The presence of leaders in facing these conditions is absolutely necessary so that Islamic educational institutions can still exist to contribute to the intellectual life of the nation. The purpose of this research is to examine the concept of educational leadership of Al-Ghazali and Ibn Khaldun and explain the relevance of these concepts in the context of agile management. This research uses the Library Research method. The author searches for literature sources in the form of books and journals. The analysis used is comparative analysis. The conclusion of this research is the relevance of the concept of educational leadership of Al-Ghazali and Ibn Khaldun in the context of agile management, namely working to achieve the pleasure of Allah swt, holding fast to the goals of Islamic education, having leadership skills, involving customers in educational projects, involving customers in educational projects, teamwork and collaboration, new work processes, regular reflection and continuous quality improvement.

Abstract

Sekolah Ramah Anak (Child-friendly schools) place students as living subjects, so that the education process takes place in safe, clean and healthy conditions, with the guarantee that children's rights are respected and they are protected from violence. Setting up a child-friendly school requires adequate facilities and infrastructure. Educational facilities and infrastructure are school assets that must be well organized and managed to support quality education in schools. A school asset and infrastructure management strategy is needed. The purpose of this study is to explain the asset and infrastructure management strategies for the implementation of Islamic education-based child-friendly schools. This research uses qualitative research methods, namely documentary studies or literature studies conducted by reading and analyzing documentary sources in the form of journals, articles, and other documents related to the problem. Based on the research conducted, it is concluded that asset and infrastructure management strategies to realize child-friendly schools based on Islamic education include the application of sustainability principles in asset and infrastructure management, collaboration between stakeholders for effective management, and the use of technology and innovation in asset and infrastructure management.

Abstract

The swift expansion of Islamic banking has resulted in the creation of many investment products, such as mudharabah deposits, sukuk, and Islamic mutual funds, all compliant with sharia rules. Notwithstanding this advancement, the customers' inadequate financial literacy presents considerable obstacles in identifying appropriate investment alternatives that correspond with their objectives and risk appetite. This work seeks to fill this gap by creating a Decision Support System (DSS) that employs the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to aid users in making educated decisions on Islamic banking investments. The SAW technique was selected for its straightforwardness and efficacy in normalizing data and assessing alternatives according to established criteria, including profit potential, risk level, investment duration, and compliance with sharia principles. The research encompassed multiple phases, including the identification of evaluation criteria, the collection and analysis of pertinent data, and the application of the SAW method to rank investment choices. The DSS effectively delivered precise and dependable suggestions, designating Sharia Deposits as the optimal investment choice due to its robust agreement with the established criteria. The results underscore the system's capability to improve financial inclusion and literacy, especially in Indonesia, where comprehension of sharia-compliant financial products is still inadequate. Future improvements to the DSS involve the incorporation of real-time data and the expansion of its application to include more financial industries, such as insurance and microfinance. This study highlights the importance of utilizing technology to address deficiencies in financial literacy and facilitate the sustainable development of the Islamic banking sector.

Abstract

Program pencegahan kekerasan terhadap anak dan perempuan yang dilaksanakan di Desa Oyom, Kecamatan Lampasio, Kabupaten Tolitoli.melalui Program pengabdian kepada Masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 03 Agustus 2024. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang kekerasan, konsekuensinya, dan strategi pencegahan yang efektif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi diskusi tatap muka, ceramah dan simulasi kasus untuk melibatkan peserta secara aktif. Untuk memudahkan pemahaman, kami menyediakan materi edukasi seperti poster dan brosur. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, tanya jawab, dan dokumentasi untuk menilai perubahan pengetahuan dan sikap peserta. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran sosial, pencegah kekerasan pada  anak-anak dan perempuan serta memberi acuan upaya pencegahan kekerasan di masa depan.

Abstract

Shorea leprosula and Shorea johorensis do not live alone, but are associated with other plant species within a forest ecosystem. The relationships or associations of plants in the forest can be positive and negative. Positive association occurs when a plant species is present together with other plant species, while negative association occurs when a plant species is not present together with other plant species. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution pattern of tree species, the Important Value Index (IVI), the association between species, and the kinship value of S. leprosula and S. johorensis in the IUPHHK (Timber Forest Product Utilization Business Permit) area of PT. Kemakmuran Berkah Timber, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The results showed that S. leprosula had an IVI (Important Value Index) of 15.89% - 42.02% and S. johorensis had an IVI of 28.56%. Based on the association of kinship values, there was a significant negative association between S. leprosula and Myristica sp. and Cinnamomum sp., with negative coefficients of 7.28% and 8.83%, respectively. As for the S. johorensis species, it was only found in plot 1, with one significant combination with the Palaquium sp. species with a positive coefficient of 5.63%. S. johorensis plays a significant role in plot 1, while S. leprosula shows complex interactions with significant negative species combinations in several plots.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertuajuan, untuk mengetahui perkembangan kemampuan kognitif anak melalui buku cerita bergambar di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Ampana. Pendekatan yang di gunakan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan subjek pendekatan ini di ambil di kelompok B1 yang berjumlah 23 anak dan 10 orang guru yang ada di TK Aisiyah Bustanul Athfal Ampana. Tekni pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil observasi penelitian menunjukan bahwa guru dan orang tua peserta didik sangat berperan penting dalam perkrmbangan kemampuan kognitif menggunakan media buku cerita bergambar di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athafal Ampana. Sebelum guru melaksanakan pembelajaran, guru membuat RPPH dan RPPM, menyiapkan alat dan bahan yang di gunakan, mengatur posisi anak, memberikan arahan kepada anak, mencontohkan cara mempraktekan, memberikan kesempatan kepada anak untuk mempraktekan, memberi support kepada anak, menanyakan respon anak dengan mengevaluasi hasil prakteknyan. Penghambat guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran adalah guru dan peneliti kesulitan dalam mengarahkan anak untuk diam saat pembelajaran sedang berlangsung. Penerapan menggunakan media buku cerita bergambar di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Ampana. Langsung di lakukan di dalam kelas, kemudian dengan penerapan menggunakan media buku cerita bergambar dengan pengawasan guru di dalam kelas. Sehingga guru dapat mengetahui perkembangan kognitif anak. dengan bantuan guru tersebut peneliti dapat menyelesaikan dengan baik dan lancar.
