Abstract

The main problem in efforts to reduce poverty today is related to the fact that economic growth is not spread evenly. The research will carry out classification based on data on poor residents obtained from Tanjungsari Village, Kajen District using data mining techniques. The attributes that will be used in classifying residents are Education, Occupation, Income, Dependents, Electricity Power, Home Ownership Status. The method that will be used is the Naïve Bayes Classifier method, which is one of the classification techniques in data mining. The expected result of this research is to obtain information/data regarding determining poverty in the Tanjungsari Village community which can be used by the district government to design strategies to improve community welfare. The classification system for the poor population of Tanjungsari Village is based on the results of confusion matrix testing, using the Naïve Bayes classification method based on test data taken from the research object, obtaining an accuracy rate of 83%, a recall value of 100%, a precision of 83%, and an error rate of 17%.

Abstract

New media, particularly the internet, has become an integral aspect of contemporary life, fundamentally altering the ways in which individuals interact, learn, play, and access information. The continuous evolution of new media, driven by technological advancements, exerts a profound influence on its users, with implications that span various dimensions of human experience. This study aims to analyze and classify the psychological impact of new media on early childhood, specifically within the context of Bimba Rainbow Kids Sukmajaya, utilizing the K-Means data mining method. This research employs a qualitative approach to uncover the underlying factors that shape the psychological effects observed in young children. The anticipated outcomes of this study are expected to contribute significantly to the academic discourse on the influence of new media on early childhood psychology. Moreover, the findings hold potential relevance for educators, parents, teachers, policymakers, and the general public who are invested in comprehending the broader implications of new media on the psychological development of early childhood

Abstract

This research was conducted due to complaints from several parents regarding the determination of BSM at SDN Karanganyar 02 which still contains subjectivity in its selection so that some students are less fortunate. SDN Karanganyar 02, once a year always carries out activities related to determining the selection of BSM recipients. With this activity, it is hoped that students who are underprivileged but have fairly good achievements can receive this BSM so that the activities they carry out do not feel burdened with financial needs. The fact is that in institutions there are still many students who do not get BSM, even though according to the requirements these students should be eligible to get BSM. So in the selection that occurs there is a very irrational subjectivity. To solve this problem, the researcher tries to make a solution through an application that applies the Weight Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method, which is a method of determining with predetermined criteria. The criteria in question are activities, achievements, report cards, parental income, home conditions, and parental dependents. After analyzing and implementing the WASPAS Decision Support System, it was found that the results were detrimental to students where the criteria scores and final determination were lower than some other students, but the SD carried out an assessment by obtaining BSM. To prevent this incident from recurring, WASPAS is very capable of answering objective determinations with the results obtained at 79.88% and the previous subjective determination at 20.12%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya keluhan dari beberapa orang tua siswa mengenai keputusan BSM di SDN Kalanganyar ABC, namun ada beberapa siswa yang kurang mampu karena pilihan BSM masih subjektif. SDN Kalanganyar ABC selalu mengadakan kegiatan terkait penerimaan BSM setiap satu tahun sekali. Kegiatan ini diharapkan juga dapat memberikan manfaat bagi siswa-siswa yang tidak mampu namun memiliki nilai sangat baik sehingga dapat melakukan kegiatan tanpa terbebani oleh kebutuhan finansial. Faktanya masih banyak siswa yang tidak menerima BSM, padahal sesuai persyaratan, pelajar tersebut seharusnya berhak menerima BSM. Oleh karena itu, terdapat subjektivitas yang sangat tidak rasional dalam pemilihan yang sedang berlangsung. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, peneliti mencoba mengembangkan aplikasi yang menerapkan metode Vise Kriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR), yaitu metode yang mengambil keputusan berdasarkan kompromi kriteria yang rasional. Kriteria tersebut meliputi raport siswa, pendapatan orang tua, prestasi akademik, tanggungan, keadaan rumah, kerabat orang tua, dan keaktifan. Dari hasil analisis dan penerapan sistem pendukung keputusan VIKOR, diperoleh hasil subyektif bagi siswa yang standar evaluasi dan keputusan akhirnya lebih rendah dibandingkan beberapa siswa lainnya, namun pihak sekolah memberikan rekomendasi BSM. Untuk mencegah terulangnya kejadian tersebut, VIKOR mampu menjawab temuan objektif dengan hasil 77,44% dengan temuan subjektif sebesar 22,56% pada sistem terdahulu.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah membawa perubahan mendasar dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia. Teknologi informasi sekarang ini sudah banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat, baik anak-anak, remaja, maupun orang tua. Di tengah maraknya perkembangan tersebut, media sosial dan transaksi digital telah menjadi bagian integral dari rutinitas sehari-hari masyarakat modern, salah satunya adalah kalangan remaja. Remaja dan internet saat ini menjadi sangat dekat satu sama lain dan tidak dapat dipisahkan. Ibarat pisau bermata dua, di satu sisi internet bisa digunakan untuk kegiatan positif dan di sisi lainnya internet dapat merusak tatanan kehidupan bermasyarakat jika digunakan untuk hal-hal yang negatif. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di SMPN 2 Muara Gembong, Desa Jayasakti, Kecamatan Muara Gembong, Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Masyarakat di Desa Jayasakti khususnya Siswa/I SMPN 2 Muara Gembong memiliki permasalahan terkait minimnya literasi mengenai internet sehat serta kurangnya pengetahuan tentang risiko online, termasuk resiko privasi dan keamanan yang dapat membuat penduduk desa tidak waspada terhadap ancaman yang mungkin timbul dari aktivitas online. Pengabdian dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk membangun kesadaran masyarakat khususnya Siswa/I SMPN 2 Muara Gembong mengenai pentingnya penggunaan internet yang sehat dan bijaksana.

Abstract

This research addresses the challenge of optimizing rule creation for palm oil production at PT Tapiana Nadenggan. It deals with the complexity of diverse agricultural variables, environmental factors, and the dynamic nature of palm oil production. The existing problem lies in the limitations of conventional decision tree models—J48, reduced error pruning (REP), and random—in capturing the nuanced relationships within the intricate palm oil production system. The study introduces hybrid decision tree models—specifically J48-REP, REP-Random, and Random-J48—to address this challenge via combination scenarios. This approach aims to refine and update the rule creation process, enabling the recognition of nuanced performance processes within the selected decision tree combinations. To comprehensively tackle this challenge and problem, the study employs Tsukamoto’s fuzzy inference system (FIS) for a sophisticated performance comparison. Despite the complexity, intriguing results emerge after the forecasting process, with the standalone J48 decision tree achieving 85.70% accuracy and the combined J48-REP excelling at 93.87%. This highlights the potential of decision tree combinations in overcoming the complexities inherent in forecasting palm oil production, contributing valuable insights for informed decision-making in the industry.

Abstract

Seiring kemajuan teknologi dan informasi yang semakin berkembang, dan menjadikan masyarakat paham akan pentingnya segala informasi, termasuk tentang Keluarga Berencana atau KB. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara dengan bidan Lilik Faiqoh bahwa yang menjadi masalah kurangnya penyuluhan terhadap masyarakat, supaya masyarakat paham apa saja alat kontrasepsi yang ada di TPMB Lilik Faiqoh Jakarta Timur. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, maka Algoritma Naïve Bayes merupakan salah satu algoritma machine learning yang dapat digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan data. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan penerapan Algoritma Naïve Bayes dalam mengetahui pola pengguna Keluarga Berencana pada TPMB Lilik Faiqoh dengan mencakup identifikasi jenis kontrasepsi (KB) yang paling sering digunakan. Kemudian untuk data Keluarga Berencana ini akan dilakukan dengan proses penerapan metode CRISP-DM. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan layanan TPMB Lilik Faiqoh dan memberikan manfaat yang lebih besar bagi masyarakat setempat dalam hal penyediaan layanan kesehatan.

Abstract

The research employs Naive Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification techniques to analyze attitudes toward cigarette consumption based on Twitter user opinions. Twitter, being one of the most popular social media platforms, serves as an excellent source for gauging public sentiment on various issues, including cigarette smoking, referred to here as "X." The diverse array of opinions poses a challenge for accurate sentiment classification. This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Naive Bayes and SVM algorithms in categorizing sentiment as positive, negative, or neutral. Data is collected through web scraping, and preprocessing steps such as text cleaning, tokenization, and stemming are implemented. The performance of the classification is assessed using metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The results indicate that SVM outperforms Naive Bayes in sentiment analysis related to cigarette use. These findings provide new insights into public opinion and aim to assist policymakers in developing effective tobacco control strategies.

Abstract

Smart farming has become a major focus in the development of modern agricultural technology. In this context, the Internet of Things (IoT) offers innovative solutions to increase productivity and efficiency in crop management. This research introduces an IoT-based plant watering monitoring system that uses a fuzzy algorithm and an ESP32 microcontroller. This system is designed to automatically regulate plant watering based on environmental conditions and plant needs. The ESP32 microcontroller acts as the brain of the system, collecting environmental data such as soil moisture, air temperature, and relative humidity. This data is analyzed using a fuzzy algorithm to determine plant watering needs in real-time. Based on the output of the fuzzy algorithm, the system automatically controls the water pump to water the plants according to the specified needs. The application of fuzzy algorithms allows the system to overcome uncertainty in plant watering decisions, especially in the face of complex variations in environmental conditions. With the adoption of IoT technology, farmers can monitor and control crop watering efficiently through web interfaces or mobile applications, even remotely. This research shows that the integration of IoT with fuzzy algorithms and ESP32 microcontrollers can be an effective solution in managing crop watering, increasing overall agricultural productivity, while reducing water and energy consumption.

Abstract

The work program promised by the 2024 Presidential Candidate and Vice Presidential Candidate pair, namely, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, one of which is a free lunch program, this program is an effort to improve community welfare, but this has attracted public attention on social media, one the other is platform X. The public response to the free lunch program is the main focus. In this research, researchers analyzed sentiment related to the free lunch program using the Naive Bayes method using the Python programming language on Google Colab to analyze sentiment towards social media users. X. the results obtained from 920 tweets data, there are 167positive value tweets, 744tweets are negative. The evaluation results with the confusion matrix showed an accuracy of 86.95%, with precision 93%, recall 61%, and F1-Score 65%.From the results of this research it can be concluded that the majority of the public who commented on social media X gave a negative response to the free lunch program. These results can be used as material for government evaluation in determining effective and efficient policies for society.
