Abstract

Objective: This study examines the strengthening of legal protections for child custody and maintenance following divorce in Bireuen Regency. The research aims to identify the factual outcomes of the Bireuen Syariah Court rulings, analyze obstacles to the enforcement of child maintenance, propose ideal solutions, and describe the contributions of legal reforms. Method: Employing a qualitative field research approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Results: Data from the Bireuen Syariah Court for the period 2021-2025 records 650 cases concerning divorce and child custody claims; however, only 25% of child maintenance orders have been effectively enforced. The findings indicate that: (1) the Bireuen Syariah Court consistently awards custody rights to mothers and maintenance obligations to fathers, yet compliance rates remain low; (2) primary challenges include legal, economic, and social factors; (3) ideal solutions involve strengthening regulations, implementing wage garnishment for child support, and enhancing mediation processes; (4) legal reforms have contributed to increased legal awareness, improved mediation practices, reinforcement of customary and Sharia law, and greater access to justice. Novelty: The study recommends stricter supervision of court order enforcement and a multidimensional approach to safeguard children's rights post-divorce.

Abstract

This study was conducted because of the excellence in SD IT Andalas Cendekia, especially in religious values and other general achievements. This study aims to determine the strategies used by the principal in implementing the Pancasila student profile of the dimensions of faith, devotion to God Almighty and noble character in SD IT. The type of research used is qualitative research. The results of the study found four types of principal strategies and success in implementing them in SD IT: 1) learning activities (students can remind each other of good things). 2) development of school culture / daily school activities, it was found that students had followed school regulations such as, dhuha prayer, easy to admit mistakes and apologize, for those at the high class level they were disciplined in maintaining their genitals, limits on socializing, and forming a personality that was devoted to God Almighty. 3) extracurricular (self-development), it was seen that students achieved achievements from various competitions, were able to develop talents according to their interests and had higher self-confidence. 4) daily activities at home and in the community, there are students who are able to directly practice good manners in real life, are able to recognize prayer times and carry them out on time, and are more open in interacting.

Abstract

This study examines the potential use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in improving the digital competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers through a library research approach. Using systematic documentation techniques and content analysis, this study analyzes various literature, documents, and research results related to the implementation of AI in teacher professional development, especially in the context of Islamic education. Data were collected from reputable journals, reference books, and education policy documents in the period 2019-2024. The results of the analysis indicate that AI tools have significant potential in improving four aspects of PAI teachers' digital competence: digital literacy, learning content development, digital classroom management, and technology-based learning evaluation. The research findings also reveal challenges in implementing AI, such as the digital divide, resistance to change, and ethical considerations in the context of Islamic education. This study provides theoretical contributions to the development of an AI integration framework in improving the competence of PAI teachers, as well as providing practical implications for education policy makers and PAI practitioners in optimizing the use of AI technology for teacher professional development.
