Abstract

The second-hand import shoes business is currently growing quite rapidly so that people do not need to buy it at a high price. Genesis second shop sells various brands offline and online. The turnover of Genesis second shop per month is around IDR 10 million - IDR 12 million per month, the shop rent is IDR 11 million per year and is assisted by 1 employee. The priority problem of the Genesis second shop business is about market share and marketing strategy. The method of implementing counseling activities using lectures, discussions and practices. The purpose of the activity is for partners to know about market share and marketing strategies. The market share of Genesis second shop is all levels of lower and upper economic society of various ages. The Genesis second shop marketing strategy is carried out by paying attention to the 4P elements and improving existing marketing strategies and alternative marketing channels.

Abstract

Digital marketing activities are an important element in entrepreneurial promotion activities, considering that all forms of activities, especially in the business sector, have gone through the digitalization stage, so that understanding in the digital marketing process must be improved and not to be left behind then goals can continue to be achieved. The use of digital marketing is needed to improve entrepreneurial marketing skills in students of SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman, and students can implement digital marketing and are able to increase their business potential.Digital marketing is an effort to market products with digital media and internet networks, such as Google Business, WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Tiktok, Canva and other platforms. One of the applications of digital marketing in business is the use of Canva. This activity provides guidance on the use of digital marketing with the Canva platform, from designing to utilizing it in student business activities.

Abstract

Community-Based Tourism (CBT) is an approach that emphasizes active community participation in managing tourism destinations to create sustainable economic, social, and environmental benefits. This community service program aims to enhance students' understanding of CBT concepts and destination management through interactive education. Activities include socialization, workshops, and evaluations using pre-test and post-test assessments to measure the program's effectiveness. A total of 85 students from the hospitality and culinary fields participated in this program. Evaluation results showed an increase in the average understanding score from 65.4 in the pre-test to 87.2 in the post-test, indicating the effectiveness of the applied learning methods. Additionally, interviews with students and teachers revealed increased awareness of the importance of community involvement in tourism management. This education program not only improved conceptual understanding but also encouraged students' creativity in developing innovative ideas for tourism development in Pariaman City. With enhanced knowledge and awareness of CBT, students are expected to contribute to sustainable tourism management in the future.

Abstract

There are several percent of grade XII high school students in Padang city who do not understand the importance of studying at university and the constraints of tuition fees for those who are less fortunate. This has an impact on the relatively low mindset for the intelligence of the nation in the future. The purpose of community service activities is to increase the number of grade XII high school graduates in Padang city with scholarships accepted at State Universities every year. The method of implementing activities according to priority problems with the solutions offered in the form of lectures, discussions and counseling methods. The solution offered to grade XII high school students in Padang city provides counseling on the importance of studying at university and scholarships for those who are less financially able. This solution is expected to have an impact on the number of high school graduates in Padang city accepted at State Universities every year increasing by around more than 80%. Continuing education to university is very important because it can increase knowledge and skills, open up career opportunities and develop personality. To continue their education, prospective students can obtain various types of scholarships provided by the government and the private sector.

Abstract

The motivation of senior high school students in class XII of Padang city is still relatively low and the reinforcement of certain subject concepts according to the independent curriculum is also lacking. This has an impact on the low academic achievement of students and the number of graduates accepted at State Universities each year is still not optimal. The purpose of community service activities is to increase the number of senior high school graduates in class XII of Padang city accepted at various State Universities each year. The method of implementing the activity is in accordance with the solution offered in the form of lecture, discussion and counseling methods. The solution offered to senior high school students in class XII of Padang city provides counseling on learning motivation and reinforcement of certain subject concepts according to the independent curriculum. This solution is expected to have an impact on the number of senior high school graduates in class XII of Padang city accepted at various State Universities each year increasing by around more than 80%. Learning motivation is intrinsic and extrinsic and is related to the learning process, making students more enthusiastic in learning. Reinforcement of certain subjects is a positive response given by teachers to students in the learning process as feedback so that students can maintain or improve good behavior.

Abstract

Andi shop business is located in Indarung, Padang city, West Sumatra province. So far, the business has not had any touch of Information Technology and Appropriate Technology. The food sold is priced at an average of IDR 8,000 per portion and various types of drinks are priced at IDR 5,000 per glass. In running its business, Andi shop is assisted by her wife and 3 children so that there is no payment of wages/salaries for workers. The turnover of Andi shop business is around IDR 600,000 per day. Marketing of Andi shop business is only around Indarung market and regular customers who routinely shop every day. Because there is always a continuous demand for food and drinks every day, the marketing prospects of Andi shop business are quite good to be developed in the future. The priority problem of Andi shop business is currently related to marketing problems with the solution of providing promotional counseling via digital marketing to expand market segmentation to consumers. The method of implementing activities is in accordance with the solutions offered in the form of discussion methods, counseling and practice. The purpose of community service activities is so that partners can develop well and continue in the future in the long term. Partner income is also expected to increase by around 10% per year so that it can increase the income of Andi shop business owners in particular and the economy of Padang city and West Sumatra province in general.

Abstract

Memahami sikap dan perilaku wisatawan sangat penting untuk industri pariwisata karena pesatnya perkembangan pariwisata telah menciptakan segmen pasar yang menarik dalam pariwisata. Tujuan penelitian adalah menyelidiki pengaruh cultural contact dan gastroomy tourism terhadap revisit intention yang dimediasi oleh destination satisfaction. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) menggunakan PLS dengan 180 responden pengujung objek wisata di kota Padang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara langsung cultural contact dan gastroomy tourism berpengaruh terhadap destination satisfaction, kemudian hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa gastroomy tourism dan destination satisfaction berpengaruh langsung terhadap revisit intention, sementara cultural contact tidak memiliki pengaruh secara langsung terhadap revisit intention. Hasil penelitian selanjutnya menemukan bahwa destination satisfaction memediasi hubungan antara cultural contact dan gastroomy tourism terhadap revisit intention. Hasil ini menujukkan bahwa cultural contact dan gastroomy tourism mampu membuat pengunjung objek wisata di kota Padang untuk kembali melakukan kunjungan ulang.

Abstract

Abstract This research was conducted to find out how brand image, product quality, price and promotion influence the purchasing decision of Ciptadent toothpaste in the city of Padang. This research method is a quantitative research method with a sample size of 138 respondents. Sampling used a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. The research results show that brand image (X1) influences purchasing decisions (Y), product quality (X2) influences purchasing decisions (Y), price (X3) influences purchasing decisions (Y), promotion (X4) influences purchasing decisions (Y), and overall, brand image, product quality, price and promotion influence purchasing decisions (Y). Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh citra merek, kualitas produk, harga dan promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian pasta gigi ciptadent di kota padang. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 138 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa citra merek (X1) berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian (Y), kualitas produk (X2) berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian (Y), harga (X3) berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian (Y), promosi (X4) berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian (Y), dan secara keseluruhan, citra merek, kualitas produk, harga dan promosi berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian (Y).

Abstract

Maintaining tourists' intention to revisit is essential for managing sustainable tourism. Attracting tourists to revisit will require less effort than attracting new visitors and will reduce marketing expenditure because there is no need to build awareness, which can promote sustainable tourism. Previous research has highlighted the significant effect of satisfaction in driving revisit intention. Numerous studies have been conducted on revisit intention and satisfaction, as well as destination satisfaction. Using the Scopus database from 2015 to 2024, these studies were systematically analyzed using PRISMA and the VOSViewer bibliometric analysis tool. The findings of this study will enhance a more comprehensive understanding of literature related to destination satisfaction and revisit intention by identifying themes, research trends, leading journals and publishers in the field, and the relationships between different topics. Results show that satisfaction with various aspects of tourist destinations, such as accommodation quality, tourist attractions, information, political stability, and tourist experiences, plays an essential role in generating tourist loyalty and motivating them to return. This study discovered that destination satisfaction can be affected by several factors, such as destination personality, travel service quality, self-congruity, social media, travel experience and destination image

Abstract

This study analyzes the business strategy of Toko A. Fauzi using the SWOT and Value Proposition Canvas (VPC) approaches to evaluate the store's position in market competition and formulate a development strategy. The SWOT analysis reveals the store's key strengths such as competitive pricing, friendly customer service, a wide product variety, and partnerships with reliable suppliers. However, the store faces weaknesses such as stock limitations, long queues at the cashier, lack of promotion, and an underdeveloped online shopping system. Opportunities for expansion include collaboration with new suppliers, utilizing social media for promotion, and developing delivery services. However, there are external threats such as a shift in shopping behavior towards digital platforms, supply chain issues, and competition from stores offering more attractive loyalty programs. The VPC analysis indicates that the products and services offered by Toko A. Fauzi align with customer needs, which desire affordable prices, stable stock, and a convenient shopping experience. Based on the SWOT analysis, Toko A. Fauzi is in a progressive strategic position, with an IFE score of 3.31 and an EFE score of 3.71, indicating dominant internal strengths and the ability to capitalize on opportunities and address threats. For development, it is recommended to improve stock management, enhance payment and delivery systems, and expand digital marketing strategies and the online shopping platform. By implementing strategies based on SWOT and VPC, Toko A. Fauzi is expected to strengthen its competitiveness and achieve sustainable business growth.
