Abstract

Objective: The Indonesian government officially announced that COVID-19 had entered Indonesia in early March 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed all aspects of life, one of which is the world of education. Learning is still carried out but is carried out from home, or another name is the school from home (SFH). This SFH condition causes a lack of physical activity and increases the sedentary lifestyle among school students. Methods: This study uses a descriptive method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire in Google Form. The number of samples is 242 students. The results of the data collected were analysed and processed using SPSS 25.0. Data analysis using Chi-Square Test.Results: The data analysis results showed a relationship between learning from home and weight gain of elementary school students with a p-value <0.005, namely a p-value of 0.046.Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is recommended for parents and teachers always to accompany and remind school children to maintain a healthy diet. Moreover, physical activity is needed even though learning from home so that the child's weight does not increase significantly and remains within the criteria for normal nutritional status. In addition, it is also recommended to conduct other studies related to factors that influence weight gain in school-age children during the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Objective: The COVID-19 pandemic at the end of 2019 resulted in changes in learning conditions with the implementation of school from home (SFH) for children. On the other hand, children are the hope of the nation in the future. School children are the nation's investment, the nation's next generation. It is necessary to prepare the children to become qualified, healthy, moral, and valuable human beings for society. One of the habits that must be a concern is having breakfast at home when SFH conditions. Breakfast habits on a person have a positive impact in carrying out daily activities. Breakfast has benefits in supporting the nutritional status and learning achievement of children. It happened because there is a supply of optimal blood glucose levels for the needs of the learning process. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between breakfast and student achievement.Methods: This research method is to uses a cross-sectional study design. The sample of this study was students in grades 1-5 of private elementary schools in Depok with a sample of 242 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. As many as 73.9% of students always have breakfast in the morning.Results: There is a relationship between breakfast habits and student achievement with a p-value of 0.000Conclusion: A child must take the time to eat breakfast with quality nutrition to concentrate more on learning and improve their learning achievement.

Abstract

Objective: Communication technology is growing rapidly, including the internet. One of the negative impacts is the excessive use of online games. The users are not only from among children but primarily teenagers. Internet use among adolescents aged 15-19 years reaches 91%. Unhealthy internet use has a significant risk, including addiction to online games. Addiction to online games can lead to sleep problems and insomnia. Insomnia is a condition of a person with sleep disturbances to difficulty sleeping.Methods: This study used a non-experimental research design with a cross-sectional approach. The goal is to see whether or not there is a relationship between the dependent and independent variables. The independent variable of this study is the behavior of playing online games in adolescents. The independent variable in this study is the insomnia scale. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The sample used is included in the inclusion criteria, namely all students who are actively attending SMAN X Bogor and have cellphones, with the number of samples in this study amounting to 170 students. Data collection using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using the SPSS for windows version 25.0 program. Data analysis in this study is the univariate analysis by distributing frequency and proportion to describe the data on the characteristics of respondents age, gender, youth. Meanwhile, we used bivariate analysis to determine the relationship between online game playing behavior and insomnia scale in adolescents at SMAN X Bogor. Analysis using Chi-square test with a significance level of 5%.Results: The result of this study is that there is a relationship between online gaming behavior and insomnia in adolescents.Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, several things that can be recommended are teenagers should limit themselves in playing online games and be able to manage their time to sleep, so they are not disturbed, parents should supervise and schedule teenagers' daily activities, schools should implement rules and sanctions for teenagers who like to fall asleep during lessons to maintain discipline in behavior, nurses should be able to provide counseling to the community and nursing care when dealing with teenagers with online game playing behavior that has affected their sleep patterns.

Abstract

Objective:   Adolescents are part of the population who are in the age range of 10-18 years. Adolescents are vulnerable to nutritional problems. This is due to changes in lifestyle including consumption patterns that are influenced by the surrounding environment. the national prevalence of obesity in adolescents aged >18 years was 14.8% in 2013 and increased to 21.8% in 2018. This is influenced by various factors. friends of the same age. Methods:  This research was conducted at SMPN 5 Depok in July 2022 to 261 students in grades 7, 8, 9 using simple random sampling technique. The variables of this study consisted of the independent variables, namely the role of parents, teachers, and peers, while the dependent variable was the nutritional behavior of adolescents. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires. Statistical analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between parents, teachers, and peers on adolescent nutritional behavior in students at SMPN 5 Depok. Before the researcher carried out the research, he explained the research procedure to the sample and received approval from each sample. Results:   There is no relationship between the role of parents and peers with adolescent nutritional behavior. There is a relationship between the teacher's role and adolescent nutritional behavior. Conclusion:   Parents and teachers still need to supervise in matters relating to nutritional behavior in adolescents. Adolescents are more likely to follow the attitudes and behavior of their peers.

Abstract

Background: Health services are currently very much needed. Especially for school-age children. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of using health technology, namely mobile applications in improving health services in schools. Methods: This research was conducted at the Holy Faithful Obedient Elementary School Sawangan Depok in October 2022. The respondents in this study were 185 students of SD HFO Sawangan Depok. Data was collected using a questionnaire after being given training related to the use of health technology in the form of a health mobile application. Then the data were analyzed using the Paired t-test to determine the effect of using health technology with school health services. Results: The results showed that the health service before the intervention was 29.98, after the intervention, it increased to 30.76, with a p-value = 0.001 (p < 0.05), meaning that there was a significant effect of the intervention using health technology on improving health services in Indonesia. school. Conclusion: This research can be concluded that there is an improvement in health services in schools after being given training on the use of health technology in the form of school health mobile applications.
