Diare merupakan masalah kesehatan pada balita baik di tingkat global, regional, maupun nasional. Di tingkat global diare menyumbang 16% kematian balita, sedangkan di tingkat regional menyumbang 18% kematian balita. Satu dari tiga penyakit paling penting bagi anak-anak di Indonesia adalah diare, selain infeksi saluran pernafasan atas dan demam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kepadatan lalat dengan diare pada balita di sekitar tempat pemrosesan akhir sampah Kota Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional, dengan variabel dependen kasus diare pada balita, variabel independen kepadatan lalat, dan variabel confounder berupa variabel lain yang mempengaruhi terjadinya diare. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan proportional sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu-ibu yang memiliki balita dan bertempat tinggal dengan radius maksimal 1 km dari tempat pemrosesan akhir sampah Kelurahan Cipayung, yaitu Kampung Bulak Barat dan Kampung Benda Barat. Analisis uji statistik dilakukan dengan model regresi logistik ganda. Daerah yang memiliki kepadatan lalat sedang mempunyai risiko 3,3 kali lebih tinggi (95% CI 0,9-11,4) untuk mengakibatkan kejadian diare pada balita dibandingkan dengan daerah yang memiliki kepadatan rendah lalat di sekitar TPA sampah Kota Depok tahun 2018 setelah dikontrol oleh variabel kualitas air, penjamah makanan, imunisasi campak, jumlah keluarga, jamban, perilaku cuci tangan, dan ASI eksklusif.

Malaria caused 212 million cases worldwide in 2015 which associated to environmental factors, ecology, and the presence of vectors. Annual paracite incidence (API) in Indonesia in 2011-2015 decreased. Unfortunately, malaria incidence always exist in Purworejo District which known as one of endemic area in Central Java. This research aimed to determine risk factors of malaria incidence in endemic area especially in Purworejo, Central Java. Logistc regression showed that period of residency 19-34 years (OR=1.612; 95% CI 0.853-3.046), period of residency >34 years (OR=2.050; 95% CI 1.036-4.060), male (OR=2.349; 95% CI 1.365-4.043), and education level less than junior high school (OR=1.677; 95% CI 0.976-2.882) as contributing risk factor to malaria incidence in Purworejo District.

Delivery by traditional birth attendants (TBAs) has become a culture in several regions in Indonesia. The absence of health insurance ownership and lack of knowledge have supported the decision to choose TBA by the expectant mothers. This study aimed to determine the relationship between health insurance ownership with delivery by TBA. This research was a cross-sectional study with 120 samples of women aged 15-49 years who had ever given birth in the last five years and lived in Sangiangtanjung Village, Lebak, Banten. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used in this study consist of health insurance ownership with delivery by TBAs controlled by age, education, socioeconomic, knowledge, antenatal care provider, frequency of antenatal care, and danger of pregnancy. The results showed that women who did not have health insurance were 3.20 times higher (95%CI= 1.10-9.30) for choosing delivery by TBAs compared to women who had health insurance after being controlled by knowledge. This study concluded that there was a significant relationship between health insurance ownership with delivery by TBAs. This study suggests that it is needed to conduct maternity care about health insurance ownership and positive health-seeking behavior, and the system of integrating TBAs with skilled birth attendants especially midwives in which TBAs as birth companions. Abstrak Persalinan oleh dukun bayi sudah menjadi budaya di beberapa daerah di Indonesia. Tidak adanya jaminan kesehatan dan pengetahuan menjadi pendorong dalam pemilihan dukun sebagai penolong persalinan. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara kepemilikan asuransi kesehatan dengan persalinan oleh dukun bayi. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan desain potong lintang dengan 120 sampel. Sampel merupakan wanita berusia 15-49 tahun yang melahirkan dalam lima tahun terakhir dan tinggal di Desa Sangiangtanjung, Lebak, Banten. Analisis multivariat regresi logistik digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari kepemilikan asuransi kesehatan dengan persalinan oleh dukun bayi dan dikontrol oleh usia ibu, pendidikan ibu, sosial ekonomi, pengetahuan, tenaga pemeriksa kehamilan, frekuensi pemeriksaan kehamilan, dan bahaya kehamilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ibu yang tidak memiliki asuransi kesehatan 3,20 kali lebih tinggi (95% CI = 1,10-9,30) untuk melakukan persalinan oleh dukun bayi dibandingkan dengan ibu yang memiliki asuransi kesehatan setelah dikontrol oleh pengetahuan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdappat hubungan antara kepemilikan asuransi kesehatan dengan persalinan oleh dukun bayi. Diperlukan asuhan maternitas tentang kepemilikan asuransi dan perilaku pencarian kesehatan yang positif, serta pengintegrasian dukun bayi dengan tenaga kesehatan terutama bidan di mana dukun bayi perlu ditetapkan kembali perannya sebagai pendamping kelahiran.

CIPAYUNG LANDFILL SMART GROUP: PRODUCTION OF WASTE COOCKING OIL SOAP FOR ZERO WASTE. Cipayung landfill was overload by garbage. Various environmental problems due to garbage are complained of by people who lived around the landfill, such as pollutions of water, air, and land. The zero waste was hope to be able to reduce problems there and not to add the new problems about the environmental. The study conducted on housewife in September 19th 2019 Cipayung Landfill Depok, West Java. We conducted activites as follows: counseling and workshop. The result showed that: there was significant knowledge between pre and post counseling with t-test (p value = 0,001). This study has also provided workshop to make waste cooking oil soap. This study increased participant’s knowledge regarding waste cooking oil, pollutions, and zero waste. Furthermore this studywas increased the productivity of housewive to reuse waste coocking oil in their home.

An initial survey that had been done found that the location of the settlement where residents of cipayung lived was very close to the location of the Cipayung Landfill. The unhealthy environment tended to cause disease and any other health problems, so that efforts needed to be made to overcome this, one effort that could be done is training on health . This counseling activity was attended by 21 residents living in the village of West Bulak which is the closest residential location to the Cipayung landfill site. Wilcoxon test results on the pre-test and post-test scores of participants showed a P- value of 0.001 which means that there were differences in the level of knowledge of the participants after attending counseling. The average value of pre-test and post-test had a difference of 34.5 shows that counseling that has been carried out is able to increase knowledge.

Cigarette consumption occurs throughout the world and is widespread among teenagers. Moreover, the existence of cigarette advertisements as a promotional media that is easily found in various mass media, can provide smoking influences to adolescents. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of cigarette advertising on adolescent smoking initiation. This study uses a literature review. Google Scholar, Sciene Direct, and Proquest are used to select literature related to the topic to be discussed. The analysis in this study was also assisted with several articles found on the internet. Based on research, the influence of various types of cigarette advertisements in general in various countries can lead to smoking initiation among adolescents. The image in cigarette advertisements makes smokers look attractive. Teenagers who are exposed to cigarette advertisements are more open and have a high curiosity about the use of cigarettes. Some actions need to be taken to reduce cigarette consumption in adolescents, such as providing cigarette education to adolescents, as well as enforcement of strong anti-smoking advertising, promotion and sponsorship policies. So, the teenagers know and understand the harmful effects of using these cigarettes. Keywords: Cigarette advertisement, adolescent health, smoking.

Background: One characteristic of lung dysfunction is obstruction of airflow in the respiratory tract. The prevalence of COPD as lung function disorder among men in Indonesia is 3.7% and 2.7% in DKI Jakarta. One of the causes of decreased lung function is smoking. A large portion of UPN Veteran Jakarta employees is smoker. This research was aimed to determine risk factors of lung dysfunction among employees in UPN Veteran Jakarta. Method: A cross sectional study was conducted from April to May 2019 in UPN Veteran Jakarta. Total 102 samples of employees who work at UPN includes staff, lecturers, cooperative officers, office boys, and security guards were selected using purposive sampling. Measuring instruments used in this study were questionnaires, scales, microtoise and spirometer. Spirometer was used to measure lung function. Questionnaires to obtain data on gender, age, body mass index (BMI), employment status, education, allergies, history of lung disease, family history, Brinkman index, physical activity, vehicle emissions exposure and smoking environment. The data was analysed using the chi square test and logistic regression test Results: The results of the logistic regression test showed risk factors of lung dysfunction were BMI (POR: 4.718; 95% CI 1.673-13.305), history of lung disease (POR: 3,424; 95% CI 0.836-14.028) and smoking environment (POR: 2.956; 95% CI 0.953-9.168). Conclusion: The most influencing factors for lung dysfunction were BMI, history of lung disease, and smoking environment.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a disruption in essential health services which also has an impact on reducing the coverage of routine immunizations for children. A decrease in immunization coverage will increase the incidence of vaccine-preventable diseases. This study aimed to determine the coverage of routine immunization in children under 2 years of age during the COVID-19 pandemic in Asia. A systematic search was conducted to find relevant studies using keywords in 3 databases like Scopus, PubMed, and EMBASE, on October 24, 2022. The article's identification used the PRISMA method. Articles used were limited to 2020-2022. The reduction in immunization coverage or delays in immunization in children ranges from 16-71%. The most decrease in immunization coverage occurred in March-April 2020. Immunization coverage increased again in May 2020 and decreased back in September-October 2020. An overview of the decline in immunization is an evidence base for policy practitioners to carry out mitigation immediately. Continuation of the immunization program is very important for children's health and must remain a priority despite the ongoing pandemic.

Abstrak: Dukungan Keluarga Terhadap Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 yang Berusia Lanjut di Dunia: Systematic Review. Diabetes melitus tipe 2 merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular yang banyak menyerang lansia di seluruh dunia. Diabetes melitus terjadi ketika kadar glukosa dalam tubuh melebihi normal akibat insulin yang tidak bekerja. Namun bagi pasien diabetes lanjut usia, tidak mudah untuk mengontrol kadar glukosa darah secara rutin dan mandiri sehingga membutuhkan dukungan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dukungan keluarga terhadap pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 yang berusia lanjut di seluruh dunia dari berbagai literatur. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah tinjauan sistematis dengan pedoman PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Item for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) serta menggunakan metode PICO dalam mengidentifikasi artikel. Pencarian sumber diambil dari berbagai jurnal dan artikel melalui Google Scholar, Garuda, dan PubMed yang telah telah dievaluasi menggunakan Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS) dalam menilai risiko bias. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan keluarga terhadap pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 yang berusia lanjut akan memberikan dampak positif terhadap kepatuhan lansia terkait pola makan dan gaya hidup sehat. Maka dari itu, penting bagi keluarga untuk selalu memberikan dukungan secara emosional kepada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2.
