Abstract

The Covid 19 vaccination is still a matter of pros and cons in society, giving rise to doubts among them about being able to receive it. including the effectiveness of the vaccine itself. Education and support from the family greatly influences a person's ability to receive the Covid 19 vaccination. This research aims to determine the determinants of the Covid 19 vaccination status of the community in the Walantaka Health Center working area, Serang City, Banteh Province in 2023. The method uses quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study used a two-proportion difference hypothesis test formula with the minimum number of samples obtained being multiplied by two to 146. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Hypothesis testing used a multiple logistic regression test. The results of the bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between education, knowledge, attitudes and family support and Covid 19 vaccination coverage. Meanwhile, those that were not related were the variables age and beliefs. Multivariate analysis shows that family support is the dominant variable in Covid 19 vaccination coverage. Conclusions and Suggestions. Most respondents took the vaccine twice, because they were of a non-vulnerable age, low education and knowledge, beliefs, negative attitudes and received family support for the Covid 19 vaccine. There is a significant relationship between knowledge, attitudes and family support and Covid 19 vaccination coverage. Family support is the most dominant and has a 6,781 times chance of successful Covid 19 vaccination coverage compared to those who do not receive support. It is hoped that the Community Health Center can provide education and understanding about Covid 19 vaccination, either through individual, family, group and community outreach, as well as encouraging the public to maintain health protocols not only to reduce the possibility of contracting Covid 19 but also other infectious diseases. Keywords: Vaccine coverage, Knowledge, Attitude, Family support.

Abstract

Lack of awareness among adolescents towards healthy lifestyle has an impact on the risk of non-communicable diseases. The purpose of this community service activity was to improve adolescent knowledge of a healthy lifestyle and screening their nutritional status by measuring their BMI-for-age to prevent the risk of malnutrition (underweight or overweight). Improvement knowledge of healthy lifestyles carried out by providing counseling on nutrition-balanced and physical activity. The results of the activity showed an increase in the mean of knowledge score from 9.95(±SD1,29) to 11.57(±SD2,12). BMI measurements showed that the majority of adolescents (62%) had normal nutritional status, 21% were overnourished, 11.6% were obese, and 4.2% were undernourished. Counseling on nutrition-balanced and physical activity could increase healthy lifestyle knowledge for adolescence, and there is a tendency for adolescence to lead a problem with overnutrition. Therefore, sustainable youth education program required to provide a healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

Measles remains a significant public health problem, particularly among children under five years old in urban areas. This study aimed to identify factors associated with measles incidence among children aged 0–5 years in Central Jakarta in 2024. A cross-sectional design was applied using secondary data from measles epidemiological investigations conducted by the Central Jakarta Health Sub-Department in 2024. The study included 115 children recorded in surveillance reports. Data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate methods with logistic regression. The results showed that several factors were associated with measles incidence, including nutritional status, age, sex, immunization history, and history of exposure. Multivariate analysis revealed that the dominant factor was nutritional status with an OR of 13.120 (95% CI: 1.698–101.320; p=0.014). In conclusion, nutritional status is the most influential factor in measles incidence among children in Central Jakarta. Efforts to improve children's nutritional status through growth monitoring, supplementation, and nutrition education should be strengthened to reduce measles risk.

Abstract

Healthcare service quality is a key indicator in evaluating the effectiveness of healthcare facilities, influencing patient satisfaction and loyalty. Understanding users' perceptions of service quality is essential for developing strategies to improve outpatient care. This study aims to analyze factors affecting users' perceptions of service quality at Rumah Sehat outpatient units in Jakarta in 2025. A quantitative survey design was employed, involving 96 purposively sampled respondents. The data were analyzed using the chi-square test to determine the relationship between demographic characteristics, payment methods, and users' perceptions of service quality. The results indicate that users' perceptions are significantly influenced by age, education, and payment methods, with payment method being the most dominant factor. Moreover, professional, friendly, and responsive healthcare staff, along with adequate and comfortable facilities, contribute to positive user perceptions. These findings provide practical implications for Rumah Sehat management to enhance service quality, patient satisfaction, and user loyalty.
