Abstract

The ebb and flow of passion for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta, signals that people's tastes have changed apart from the purchasing power factor. As an area for buying and selling technical equipment that tends to be homogeneous, the HWI Lindeteves Jakarta market has an interesting phenomenon to research. This study aims to explain the effect of Market Orientation and Entrepreneurship Orientation on Business Performance. This quantitative research uses multiple regression analysis for data analysis. The measuring instrument used is SPSS 23.0. The results of this study explain that business performance is affected by market orientation. Furthermore, Business Performance is also influenced by Entrepreneurial Orientation. Simultaneously, this study explains that business performance is influenced by market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation. The better the company strategy is related to understanding Market Orientation and Entrepreneurship Orientation, the better it will support Business Performance. On the other hand, a low level of market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation can have a low impact on business performance.

Abstract

The food and beverage sector in Indonesia is becoming increasingly competitive, particularly in restaurants with current themes. Several restaurants were quite enthusiastic about adding outlets during the first opening phase, but they were forced to close one by one over time. In this situation, satisfaction and loyalty can decide the restaurant's long-term viability. Based on this, this study was undertaken with the goal of studying the determinants of modern restaurant customer loyalty utilizing price fairness, sensory experience, and customer satisfaction as predictive variables. This quantitative study employs partial lease square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with Smart PLS 4.0 as an analytical tool. The findings of this study, which used purposive sampling on 190 Warunk Upnormal consumers ranging in age from generations Z to Y, demonstrate how pricing fairness and sensory experience influence happiness and loyalty. Similarly, satisfaction influences consumer loyalty. This study reveals that restaurants with a contemporary concept have key characteristics in terms of facilities that are appealing to look at and enjoy, such as the aroma of their food. However, if the target clientele for restaurants with contemporary themes are young people, the issue of pricing fairness must be addressed.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) on IBOX customer loyalty and satisfaction, as well as the role of customer satisfaction as a mediator in the relationship between KOLs and CRM with loyalty. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design to test the cause-and-effect relationship between key opinion leaders, CRMs, and customer loyalty as independent variables, the mediating role of Customer Satisfaction (KP), and the mediator role of the customer satisfaction (LP). The study population consists of Greater Jakarta residents aged 19-55 years who are active in using the internet, with a sample selected by purposive sampling of 250 respondents. The results show that customer satisfaction has a significant influence on customer loyalty (P0.05), with each variable showing a p-value smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000 and 0.011, respectively. In addition, this study also revealed that Customer Service Management (CRM) has an important influence on Customer Loyalty (LP), with the p value of 0.000. This shows that KOL and CRM not only affect customer satisfaction, but also play an important role in building customer loyalty.

Abstract

By 2024, the quantity of Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) users in Indonesia is projected to reach 51 million. The usage of QRIS as a cashless payment system is gaining widespread acceptance. Nevertheless, research on cashless payment methods, including QRIS, indicates that usage behavior is significantly affected by multiple variables. Conversely, prior research has predominantly concentrated on consumers' age or generational backgrounds. This study seeks to examine the factors influencing QRIS usage behavior, specifically considering the backgrounds of employees in metropolitan regions, particularly Greater Jakarta. This research employs a quantitative methodology via a questionnaire survey to gather primary data. This study demonstrates, using SmartPLS, that mobile ease of use and perceived compatibility significantly influence QRIS usage behavior. Conversely, relative advantage and social influence indicate a different outcome. This is mostly attributable to the functions and attributes of QRIS, which is no longer an innovative product, having been preceded by several e-wallets. Further research could benefit from additional information on the background of e-wallet utilization, the incorporation of supplementary variables into the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) model, and the expansion of studies to encompass other urban regions.

Abstract

The phenomenon that the work environment and personal aspects of workers, such as work discipline and locus control, should go hand in hand to achieve the expected job satisfaction motivates this research. The purpose of this research is to identify and explain the factors that influence locus control and job satisfaction. Also, to identify and explain the role of locus control as a moderator between non-physical work environment and work discipline on job satisfaction. This quantitative study involves 30 employees from XYZ's non-franchise business in Jakarta and employs a structural model with SmartPLS as an analytical tool. A questionnaire instrument was used in this study's survey. According to the findings of this study, the work environment has a small impact on locus control and job satisfaction. Meanwhile, work discipline affects locus control but not job satisfaction. This finding supports another finding that employees' locus of control at work influences job satisfaction. In the indirect effect, locus control does not serve as a moderator between work environment and job satisfaction or between work discipline and job satisfaction.

Abstract

The goal of this research was to investigate the impact of word of mouth and brand image on purchasing decisions on the e-commerce site Tokopedia. The data used in this study is primary data collected through a questionnaire on Tokopedia e-commerce users using a purposive sampling technique. Tokopedia is one of the most popular online shopping platforms in Indonesia. Consumers will consider several factors when making purchasing decisions, including reviews from previous customers. Furthermore, consumers consider the platform's brand image. This study employs the uses and gratification theory as a foundation for communication thinking with a quantitative approach, analyzing data obtained from questionnaires distributed by the researchers and processed using the SPSS version 26 application. The findings of this study show that word of mouth has an impact on purchasing decisions and brand image. This can be demonstrated using the T and F tests to determine whether word-of-mouth and brand image influence purchasing decisions on Tokopedia's online store.

Abstract

In 2024, the Composite Stock Price Index underwent a significant fall due to multiple domestic and worldwide issues. Numerous prior research have investigated financial behavioral elements as a connection in investment decisions; nevertheless, this study presents originality by concentrating on these factors that exert a direct influence. This study analyzes the financial behavioral aspects that affect stock investment decisions in Indonesia, particularly in the Jakarta region. This research employs a quantitative approach via a questionnaire survey to gather primary data, which is subsequently analyzed using SmartPLS. This discovery alters the current paradigm. This study revealed that, despite the common belief that investor sentiment affects investing decisions, the findings indicate that investor sentiment does not exert a substantial influence. This study demonstrated that, contrary to numerous other studies indicating that investor sentiment affects investment decisions, investor sentiment does not exert a substantial influence. This discovery contests the current paradigm and demonstrates that elements such as economic fundamentals, market volatility, and individual investor traits are more influential in investment decision-making. This study encourages research on other factors affecting Indonesian stock market investment decisions. Future research should include more factors and widen the study region to better understand investment behavior.

Abstract

Spodoptera litura Nucleopolyhedrovirus (SpltNPV) is an entomopathogenic virus from the Baculoviridae family, currently under development as a biological control agent for cutworm Spodoptera litura. The NPV’s ability to infect its pest host can be determined by expression of pif protein complex by pif gene. The research aims to acquire genetic character information of the pif gene of SpltNPV from Bogor. Amplification of the NPV gene was carried out using the specific primers to amplifies two types of pif gene. The PCR products were sequenced then the DNA sequences were analyzed with the BioEdit and BLAST programs. The PCR amplification results showed that the size of the sample DNA fragment was 900 bp, 1300 bp and 710 bp. Based on the sequence analysis results, SpltNPV isolates from Bogor are closely related to SpltNPV and SpliNPV isolates from China. The highest nucleotide homology values of Pif-1, Pif-2, and Pif-3 gene were 99.56%, 99.37% and 100%, respectively. Based on the results of phylogenetic analysis, HearNPV isolates from Bogor belong to the same group as the NPVs that infect the species Spodoptera litura and closely related to NPV that infect Spodoptera littoralis. The amino acid sequence analysis showed the number of mutated sites in pif-1, pif-2, and pif-3 in this study are 1, 3, and 0, respectively, which indicates that protein mutation in SpltNPV Bogor did not significantly alter the viral infection process.
