Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Green Packaging (GP), Environmental Awareness (EA), and Willingness to Pay (WTP) on Purchase Decision (PD), with Perceived Naturalness (PN) and Perceived Healthiness (PH) serving as mediating variables among street food consumers in urban settings. The research methodology employs a quantitative approach via a survey technique. The sample comprised 161 street food patrons chosen through a purposive sampling method. The investigation was conducted utilizing the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The findings indicated that GP exerted no significant influence on the purchase choice, whereas EA and WTP demonstrated a positive and significant impact on BD when assessed directly. The association between green packaging mediated by perceived naturalness is favorable and substantial, however it is not significant when mediated by perceived healthiness. Environmental awareness shows a substantial and favorable correlation with BD, either directly or through mediation by PN and PH. The willingness to pay exerts a positive and substantial influence on BD; however, when mediated by PN, this effect is not significant, but mediation by PH results in a positive and significant effect.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is often seen as a pathway to youth empowerment and economic growth, yet start-up failure rates remain high despite the strong entrepreneurial enthusiasm of young people, particularly urban university students. This study investigates the determinants of entrepreneurial intention by incorporating entrepreneurship education, nascent entrepreneurial behavior, perceived behavioral control, and commitment, with commitment also tested as a moderator. Using PLS-SEM with 330 urban university students, the findings reveal that entrepreneurship education, perceived behavioral control, and commitment significantly enhance entrepreneurial intention, while entrepreneurship education also promotes nascent entrepreneurial behavior. However, commitment does not moderate the link between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention (H3 not supported), and nascent entrepreneurial behavior does not significantly influence entrepreneurial intention (H4 not supported). These results contribute theoretically by extending the Theory of Planned Behavior to the context of urban start-ups and highlighting the boundary conditions of commitment and nascent behavior. Practically, the study underscores the importance of strengthening entrepreneurship curricula and support systems, while cautioning that exploratory entrepreneurial activities alone may not translate into strong start-up intentions. Beyond theoretical contributions, the findings also offer practical insights for Indonesian universities. Specifically, entrepreneurship education should be integrated with project-based learning, mentoring programs, and funding mechanisms that enable students to transform intentions into sustainable ventures within the urban start-up ecosystem.

Abstract

Hyposidra talaca (Walker) is an important pest of tea plant. H. talaca can cause losses of between 40–100% in the dry season if proper control is not carried out. H. talaca has natural enemies such as predators, parasitoids, and pathogens. One of the entomopathogens is NPV. This study aims to obtain molecular characteristics through DNA polymerase sequences and determine the virulence level of NPV isolates from H. talaca. The same species from different locations can have genetic variability. Therefore, molecular characterization by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) on DNA polymerase sequences is one way to study the genetics of HytaNPV. NPV was isolated from infected H. talaca larvae collected from the field. The DNA isolates were used as templates for PCR for DNA polymerase gene amplification with an amplicon target of ±1,000 bp. A sequencing process followed the PCR provides nucleotide sequence. HytaNPV DNA polymerase sequencing results were aligned with GenBank's BLAST data to provide information on the relationship of HytaNPV to NPVs isolated from other regions. Based on molecular character analysis using DNA polymerase gene sequence, HytaNPV Bogor has a homology level of 93.9% with HytaNPV isolated from India. HytaNPV Bogor has a genetic relationship with the NPV that infects Buzura suppressaria from China and Australia. HytaNPV Bogor is similar to the NPV that infects H. talaca from India. The bioassay of HytaNPV isolate against H. talaca showed the highest LT50 value of 1.92 days was found in concentration of 1.58 x 107 POBs/ml in second instar larvae.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the impact of organizational learning and leadership style on corporate performance (CP), with organizational culture acting as a moderator. The study was carried out at an Indonesian bank that is owned by the South Korean government. Therefore, this research will examine the impact of South Korean business culture, which is unfamiliar territory. This study employs a quantitative methodology. The findings of this study demonstrate that organizational learning significantly impacts business performance. Moreover, the leadership style also has an impact on the overall functioning of the company. Similar outcomes are also demonstrated in the case of organizational culture, which has an impact on corporate performance. Organizational culture plays a role in influencing organizational learning and corporate performance. Organizational culture does not have a moderating effect on the relationship between leadership style and business performance, as evidenced by many findings.

Abstract

This study examined whether employer branding (EB) and employee value proposition (EVP) increase employee advocacy (EA) among teaching and non-teaching staff in an Indonesian education network, and whether digital literacy (DL) strengthens these relationships in a work context where communication and advocacy are increasingly mediated by digital platforms. A cross-sectional survey was administered to 320 employees and analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4.1.1.6, including measurement model evaluation (reliability and validity) and structural model testing with interaction terms to assess moderation effects. EB and EVP showed positive and significant effects on EA, indicating that a compelling employer image and a strong employment value offering are associated with stronger employee willingness to advocate for the organization. In contrast, DL did not significantly moderate the EB–EA and EVP–EA relationships, suggesting that advocacy in this setting is shaped more by motivational and relational factors than by employees’ perceived digital capability. The study extends the employee advocacy literature by empirically positioning EA as an outward-facing behavioral outcome of EB and EVP in an emerging-economy education context, while also providing evidence that digital literacy despite high levels among respondents may not function as a meaningful boundary condition for these relationships.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effects of informativeness, entertainment, and irritation on users’ intention to return to Tokopedia, mediated by attitude toward the mobile application. In addition, this study compares the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Ducoffe Model in explaining attitude formation toward marketplace applications. TAM posits that attitude is formed after users gain experience through perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, whereas the Ducoffe Model suggests that attitude can be shaped prior to usage experience through informativeness, entertainment, and irritation. The study employs Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), using SmartPLS 4.0 as the analytical tool. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed directly to respondents using purposive sampling. The respondents were working individuals who made independent purchase decisions, used smartphones, had downloaded the Tokopedia mobile application, and had previously compared prices in conventional stores before shopping on Tokopedia. The results indicate that informativeness, entertainment, and irritation have significant effects on attitude toward the mobile application, which subsequently influences users’ intention to return. These findings support the applicability of the Ducoffe Model in the context of digital marketplace applications.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of mobile game types—especially casual and play-to-earn games—on user attractiveness, considering the mediating role of the TapTap application on Android and iOS platforms. A contradictory phenomenon in the mobile gaming industry, where casual games generate high interest and engagement while potentially financially rewarding play-to-earn games tend to attract lower user interest, serves as the background for this study. Marketplaces are used as mediation variables to represent the quality of user experience, including user experience, accessibility, engagement, ease of navigation, and cross-platform application stability. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey of the gamer community in the Greater Jakarta area through the Indie Game Studio organization, analyzed using descriptive methods and t-statistic-based mediation analysis. The results are expected to make theoretical contributions to the study of consumer behavior and digital business, as well as provide practical implications for developers in designing inclusive mobile games oriented toward user experience. The study has limitations in terms of regional scope and the types of games examined. The research findings provide theoretical implications by highlighting the importance of inclusive user experience and accessibility for gamers with disabilities. From a practical perspective, the results can assist game developers and platform providers in designing marketing strategies and app quality that enhance user engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how Generation Z students perceive Jakarta as an urban education city and how these perceptions influence students’ relationship outcomes. The research is grounded in the growing competition among education cities and the shifting ways students interpret cities as academic, social, and identity-forming ecosystems. A quantitative survey method was employed, involving Generation Z students studying in Jakarta, with constructs including city image, city attributes, city love, and university city brand personality. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that emotional attachment to the city and the personality of the city as an educational brand play a more decisive role in shaping student satisfaction, loyalty, and recommendation intentions than cognitive city image and functional urban attributes. These results suggest that in a complex metropolitan context such as Jakarta, affective and symbolic factors serve as key differentiators in strengthening student–city–university relationships. This study contributes to the literature on city branding and higher education marketing and offers practical insights for universities and city policymakers in developing education city strategies that resonate with Generation Z students.
