Abstract

Popularitas media TikTok saat ini mampu menjadikannya menjadi salah satu media untuk beriklan. Ragam faktor pembentuk intensi pembelian atas suatu iklan menjadikan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis intensi pembelian suatu produk atau jasa atas suatu iklan yang ditayangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pemodelan PLS-SEM. Survey dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang didesain dengan skala Likert 1-5. Ukuran sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 178 pengguna TikTok di Jabodetabek. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa interaktivitas membentuk pengaruh terhadap motivasi hedonis pengguna TikTok. Selain itu, ekspektasi performa dan intensi pembelian dipengaruhi oleh kegunaan relevansi kegunaan TikTok itu sendiri. Hal ini juga tidak terlepas dari kebiasaan audiens menjadikan media ini sebagai sesuatu yang menghibur dan menyenangkan. Pengguna menilai TikTok sebagai media beriklan tidak hanya berperan sebagai penyampai pesan iklan satu arah saja. TikTok mampu memfasilitasi penyampaian komunikasi seperti interaksi tidak hanya antara pemberi iklan namun juga antar sesama audiens yang melihat iklan tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh semakin pesatnya perkembangan aplikasi dan penggunanya, tidak terkecuali Bibit. Di masa COVID-19 sendiri, penggunaan aplikasi ini sendiri telah mengalami pertumbuhan yang signifikan, khususnya dalam menargetkan pengguna dari kalangan muda seperti generasi Z. Terbntuknya kesadaran untuk melakukan investasi seperti pada reksadana juga turut mendukug pertumbuhan penggunaan aplikasi ini. Berdasarkan hal ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis intensi penggunaan Bibit dan tindakan untuk melakukan advokasi pada merek Bibit itu sendiri. PLS-SEM dan alat analisis SmartPLS digunakan pada penelitian untuk menganalisis 230 responden generasi Z yang berdomisi di Jabodetabek. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa aspek kemudahan penggunaan lebih dominan membentuk pengaruh penggunaan intensi penggunaan aplikasi Bibit. Selain itu, intensi penggunaan aplikasi Bibit ini sendiri dapat membentuk intensi melakukan advokasi merek Bibit itu sendiri. Keterbatasan yang ada dalam penelitian ini yaitu penggunaan kelompok responden yang hanya melibatkan satu generasi saja. Sedangkan area penelitian dapat diperluas untuk penelitian berikutnya

Abstract

This study was inspired by the intense competition in the e-commerce sector, particularly in the marketplace. People's marketplace preferences can shift at any time. As a result, the marketplace must continue to comprehend and capture the factors that influence user satisfaction. As a result, the goal of this study is to investigate the factors that influence Bukalapak's user satisfaction. PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 3.0 is used to analyze 110 Jakarta-based samples in this quantitative study. This study found that system quality and security have a significant impact on user satisfaction. In this study, access to information on the marketplace website is considered common and used to the point where it no longer has a significant impact on users. Aspects that are considered normal and common for marketplace users are used by businesses to develop other marketing strategies so that their users can still find a place.

Abstract

The phenomenon that the work environment and personal aspects of workers, such as work discipline and locus control, should go hand in hand to achieve the expected job satisfaction motivates this research. The purpose of this research is to identify and explain the factors that influence locus control and job satisfaction. Also, to identify and explain the role of locus control as a moderator between non-physical work environment and work discipline on job satisfaction. This quantitative study involves 30 employees from XYZ's non-franchise business in Jakarta and employs a structural model with SmartPLS as an analytical tool. A questionnaire instrument was used in this study's survey. According to the findings of this study, the work environment has a small impact on locus control and job satisfaction. Meanwhile, work discipline affects locus control but not job satisfaction. This finding supports another finding that employees' locus of control at work influences job satisfaction. In the indirect effect, locus control does not serve as a moderator between work environment and job satisfaction or between work discipline and job satisfaction.

Abstract

The goal of this research was to investigate the impact of word of mouth and brand image on purchasing decisions on the e-commerce site Tokopedia. The data used in this study is primary data collected through a questionnaire on Tokopedia e-commerce users using a purposive sampling technique. Tokopedia is one of the most popular online shopping platforms in Indonesia. Consumers will consider several factors when making purchasing decisions, including reviews from previous customers. Furthermore, consumers consider the platform's brand image. This study employs the uses and gratification theory as a foundation for communication thinking with a quantitative approach, analyzing data obtained from questionnaires distributed by the researchers and processed using the SPSS version 26 application. The findings of this study show that word of mouth has an impact on purchasing decisions and brand image. This can be demonstrated using the T and F tests to determine whether word-of-mouth and brand image influence purchasing decisions on Tokopedia's online store.

Abstract

Dampak perlunya untuk mengadopsi teknologi bagi suatu usaha tidak hanya akan dirasakan dalam jangka waktu dekat, tapi juga sampai pada jangka panjang. Terlebih lagi ketika pandemi COVID-19 melanda Indonesia dimana membuat hampir semua bentuk usaha mengalami keterbatasan ruang gerak dalam melakukan pemasaran maupun penjualan. Hasil analisis situasi inilah yang diangkat oleh tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) melalui pengabdian kepada masyarakat pada 31 Agustus 2023 pada penjual bunga di Rawa Belong Jakarta. Metode yang dilakukan pada kegiatan ini adalah penyuluhan. Para peserta sebagai mitra kegiatan merasakan kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat yang baik kepada peserta dalam hal pemasaran digital. Respon lainnya yang dirasakan peserta yaitu kesesuaian kegiatan dengan masalah yang dihadapi mitra. Selain itu, kejelasan materi yang diberikan dan adanya keterlibatan peserta pada kegiatan meruapan manfaat-manfaat berikutnya yang dirasakan peserta. Berdasarkan umpan balik, hasil kegiatan ini menjukkan hasil yang memuaskan dimana peserta menyatakan kesetujuannya terhadap kebermanfaatan kegiatan atas masalah mitra, kesesuaian materi, kejelasan penyampaian materi, dan keterlibatan peserta dalam kegiatan. Hal ini juga sejalan dengan sasaran kegiatan yaitu menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi masyarakat dengan memanfaatkan keahlian sivitas akademik yang relevan, penerapan teknologi tepat guna, terjadinya perubahan sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan pada masyarakat sesuai dengan sasaran program, dan dimanfaatkannya Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK) di masyarakat secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Fear of COVID-19 makes people seek information about health protection independently, which is closely related to user satisfaction. This condition makes the need for a series of online applications such as Halodoc a necessity that is increasingly used. People are looking for various information from online health services during the pandemic, ranging from information on personal protection from COVID-19, online consultations with doctors, to ordering drugs or supplements online. This study aims to investigate whether graphic user interface and reliance on use affect the satisfaction of using Halodoc during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially among young users in Jakarta. This quantitative research uses Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) analysis with SMART PLS 3.0. The sample size of this study was 126 participants taken randomly using an online questionnaire. The results of this study explained that the graphic user interface does not affect the user's reliance on use and satisfaction. Interestingly, the reliance on use affects user satisfaction. In addition, the role of reliance of use is not proven to be a mediator between the graphic user interface on user satisfaction. Originality in this study itself lies in the use of graphic user interface and reliance on use. This is important because these two aspects can represent aspects of user behavior and the quality of the digital-based health service system itself.

Abstract

Hyposidra talaca (Walker) is an important pest of tea plant. H. talaca can cause losses of between 40–100% in the dry season if proper control is not carried out. H. talaca has natural enemies such as predators, parasitoids, and pathogens. One of the entomopathogens is NPV. This study aims to obtain molecular characteristics through DNA polymerase sequences and determine the virulence level of NPV isolates from H. talaca. The same species from different locations can have genetic variability. Therefore, molecular characterization by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) on DNA polymerase sequences is one way to study the genetics of HytaNPV. NPV was isolated from infected H. talaca larvae collected from the field. The DNA isolates were used as templates for PCR for DNA polymerase gene amplification with an amplicon target of ±1,000 bp. A sequencing process followed the PCR provides nucleotide sequence. HytaNPV DNA polymerase sequencing results were aligned with GenBank's BLAST data to provide information on the relationship of HytaNPV to NPVs isolated from other regions. Based on molecular character analysis using DNA polymerase gene sequence, HytaNPV Bogor has a homology level of 93.9% with HytaNPV isolated from India. HytaNPV Bogor has a genetic relationship with the NPV that infects Buzura suppressaria from China and Australia. HytaNPV Bogor is similar to the NPV that infects H. talaca from India. The bioassay of HytaNPV isolate against H. talaca showed the highest LT50 value of 1.92 days was found in concentration of 1.58 x 107 POBs/ml in second instar larvae.

Abstract

Nucleopolyhedrovirus (NPV) is a type of biological agent that can be effectively used as a bioinsecticide to control the cob borer caterpillar in corn. Among these viruses, HearNPV (Helicoverpa armigera Nucleopolyhedrovirus) stands out due to its host specificity, environmentally safety, and lack of harm to non-target organisms. The primary objective of this study was to elucidate the molecular characteristics of the DNA polymerase gene of HearNPV. To achieve this, caterpillars were collected from the field, then reared and inoculated in the laboratory under controlled conditions. Following propagation, viral genomic DNA was extracted using a modified CTAB (Cetyltrimethylammonium Bromide) protocol, which is commonly employed for its efficiency in isolating high-quality DNA from various sources. Subsequently, DNA amplification was performed using specific primers: forward primer HearNPV F and reverse primer HearNPV R. These primers were designed to target the DNA polymerase gene, a crucial component in viral replication and a key marker for phylogenetic studies. The results of the phylogenetic analysis indicated that the Bogor strains of HearNPV shared a high degree of similarity with NPVs that infect other species within the Helicoverpa genus, including strains from Spain, Australia, Brazil, Russia, and Japan. Specifically, the nucleotide sequence homology ranged from 98.4% to 99.4%, while the amino acid sequence homology ranged from 98.2% to 99.2%. This high level of homology suggests a close evolutionary relationship and potentially similar biological characteristics among these NPV strains.

Abstract

The development of the Food & Beverages (F&B) sector which encourages changes in the lifestyle of the people in Indonesia has contributed to the attractiveness of business in this sector. One of the interesting businesses in this sector is a coffee shop. The growth of this coffee shop business indirectly contributes to the national economy. Coffee consumption in Indonesia can also directly shape the pattern or lifestyle of consuming a variety of coffee, one of which is the style of consuming coffee in a coffee shop. This has also shaped the increase in the number of coffee shops in Indonesia. From an entrepreneurial perspective, this phenomenon is an opportunity that can be exploited. However, not all coffee shop entrepreneurs see this situation. With the existing phenomena, this study aims to analyze the performance of the coffee shop business using exogenous variables, namely market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, and innovation. This research is a quantitative research using regression analysis using SPSS. The sample in this study was 75 coffee shop entrepreneurs in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), Jakarta. The results of this study explain that all hypotheses are accepted. Market orientation in this case affects business performance. Likewise with the entrepreneurial orientation that affects business performance. Furthermore, innovation also affects business performance of coffee shops in this region. Simultaneously, each exogenous variable affects business performance at PIK. The overall results of this study are also still relevant and in line with several previous studies. From these results it can be explained that making strategies and making decisions that affect business performance. In addition, pay attention to competitors' strategies by understanding competitors' strengths and weaknesses. For further researchers, other additional variables that are not included in this study in determining business performance, such as the financial ability of businesses to survive or compete.
