Abstract

Learning resources are an important part of implementing the curriculum applied to an educational institution, this is because learning resources are able to foster enthusiasm and learning motivation for students and learning resources can help carry out learning activities optimally. The focus of this research is on 3 things, including the use of learning resources to support the implementation of the curriculum, a description of the success of implementing the curriculum as well as the constraints and alternatives. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection methods. To determine the validity of the data, the researchers used triangulation of methods and sources so that the degree of validity was higher. The results of this study indicate that optimizing the use of learning resources is very necessary for teachers to achieve curriculum goals, such as the use of messages in stories, teachers as knowledge transfer media, online learning platforms, learning media, learning methods, and learning environments both physically and psychologically. The result of this utilization is that students achieve academic and non-academic achievements. When experiencing obstacles, teachers will immediately take advantage of other sources that are relevant and easily accessible. Teachers are advised to always optimize learning resources so that they are always effective and efficient and always up to date.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 membawa kebiasaan baru pada dunia pendidikan baik proses pembelajaran maupun menajerial disekolah. Dari hasil wawancara, pada masa pandemi manajerial sekolah tidak dijalankan secara optimal terutama pada inovasi pembelajaran. Pada siswa, mengalami literasi yang rendah. Dari dua hal tersebut, maka diperlukan penguatan manajemen madrasah dan literasi yang disesuaikan dengan masa pandemic covid-19. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan terpisah antara guru dan siswa. Manajerial difokuskan pada guru, sementara literasi difokuskan kepada siswa. Kegiatan ini dilakukan selama 4 sesi yang dikemas menarik dalam dua hari. Materi untuk guru oleh praktisi pendidikan sementara materi untuk siswa dilakukan oleh trainer literasi dan kepemimpinan. Penguatan manajerial menggunakan tiga metode yakni metode ceramah variasi, metode problem solving dan metode tanya jawab. Pelatihan literasi menggunakan empat alur yan dimulai pra pelatihan, pre tes, penyajian materi, dan post test. Ada beberapa kendala yang dapat diselesaikan secara baik dan membawa dampak positif. Pengabdian ini disambut baik oleh pihak sekolah dan seluruh peserta antusias melakukan serangkaian kegiatan.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how altruistic leadership can lead to Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) behavior in employees at the SMP Plus Nurul Hikmah Pamekasan Institute. Using field research with a case study approach with three stages, namely field preparation, research stage, and post-stage. Data collection techniques used comprehensive research guidelines, non-participatory observation, and study documentation. The subjects of the study were the principal and three teachers of SMP Plus Nurul Hikmah Pamekasan who were male and showed positive performance and were indicated to have OCB and high loyalty to the institution. Miles and Huberman's data analysis model is used interactively and intensively to obtain saturated data, which consists of data collection, data reduction, and data collection and leveraging. The results of the study indicate that this altruist leadership plays an important role in shaping Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Altruistic behavior can encourage the leader's capacity to grow and become a tool to influence subordinates toward collective goals, encourage happiness in the workplace, can encourage employee performance in organizations, increase organizational capabilities, and be able to improve subordinate innovation behavior.

Abstract

The world of education in this era is trapped in a pragmatic mindset in almost all sectors. Educators and education staff, students, financing, learning processes, fulfillment of infrastructure, assessment, and management services seem to work following a mechanical pattern and deny humanistic elements of humans which are full of politeness, patience, cooperation, mutual understanding, and so on. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with a choice of Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses or PRISMA. The results of this study show that emotional intelligence as a basis for implementing early childhood education management can positively affect educators and education staff. The values of emotional intelligence which include the ability to motivate oneself, resistance to frustration, self-control, and the ability to balance emotions and ratios will lead the entire educational community to enjoy a harmonious, humane, and warm educational process.

Abstract

Madrasahs still have many problems that need to be addressed, especially teacher problems. To create quality madrasahs, teacher professionalism is very important. The quality of teachers greatly impacts the quality of madrasahs, and professionalism is always related to welfare. This research is based on the instructions given by madrasah principals to teachers and education personnel through intense communication. The purpose of this study is to find out how teachers and madrasah principals handle problems; and to find out how teachers and madrasah principals build competitiveness. This study has a qualitative approach. Observation, interview, and documentation are the methods used to obtain data sources. Data sources included the Head of MI, student teachers, classroom teachers, and the community, and data were validated through triangulation and extended participation. The results of this study indicate that the role of the head determines the power or authority (power) to gather and mobilize all resources in the madrasah. The madrasah head also often provides supervision to educators and education personnel to actively participate in activities during class or outside the classroom. The madrasah principal must choose educators who are competent in their fields because teacher professionalism is important in the soul of an educator. They must also be able to choose or determine materials, as well as learning resources or the right media to facilitate the learning process.

Abstract

Karakter peduli lingkungan merupakan salah satu karakter yang harus di bentuk oleh stakeholder pendidikan kepada peserta didik. Peduli lingkungan merupakan sikap dan tindakan seseorang yang mencerminkan bahwasanya dirinya terus mengupayakan agar lingkungannya tetap terjaga yaitu dengan mencegah kerusakan lingkungan serta berusaha untuk memperbaiki kerusakan-kerusakan alam yang sudah terjadi. Salah satu program yang dapat membentuk karakter peduli lingkungan yaitu dengan adanya layanan program ekstrakurikuler pramuka. Melalui kegiatan pramuka, siswa tidak hanya dapat mengasah jiwa kepemimpinan, tolong menolong dan kedisiplinan saja melainkan juga dapat meningkatkan jiwa kepeduliannya terhadap lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sumber datanya terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru pembina pramuka dan juga siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pertama, strategi pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui layanan program ekstrakulikuler pramuka SMA Negeri 2 Pamekasan yaitu dengan melakukan pembiasaan-pembiasaan yang berhubungan dengan peduli lingkungan kepada siswa, menempelkan media poster peduli lingkungan di sekitar lingkungan sekolah, memberikan himbauan serta bekerjasama dengan pihak luar; kedua, faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya, faktor pendukungnya: kegiatan Pramuka di SMA Negeri 2 Pamekasan yang bersifat wajib sehingga dapat secara terus menerus dalam mengajarkan peduli lingkungan kepada siswa. Sementara untuk faktor penghambatnya yaitu dari latar belakang peserta didik yang berbeda-beda, artinya ada peserta didik yang memang sudah memiliki dasar karakter peduli lingkungan namun juga ada peserta didik yang kurang memiliki dasar karakter peduli lingkungan

Abstract

The knowledge of prophetic values among the students at Madrasah Manbaul Uloom, based on an interview with Abdul Qowi, the headmaster of the Madrasah, is very low because the students focus more on memorizing the Quran without receiving in-depth religious education. Therefore, an effort must be made to understand and strengthen prophetic values as the main foundation in studying religious knowledge, especially the Quran. Thus, this service is conducted to enhance prophetic values among the students at Madrasah Manbaul Uloom. The method used in this service is the Participatory Action Research method. (PAR). This approach involves students, teachers/ustaz, and the madrasah administration in all stages of the activities, namely 25 students, five teachers, and one administrator. Meanwhile, the improvement efforts involve conducting training and workshops. The results of the service to strengthen prophetic values at Madrasah Manbaul Uloom conducted through training show an apparent increase in understanding of the prophetic values of humanization (amar ma’ruf), liberation (nahi munkar), and transcendence (tu’minuuna billah). The improvement is evident as the students begin to courageously invite their friends to engage in good activities and strive to avoid conflicts among peers. However, there needs to be a follow-up on the periodic improvement of teachers’/ustaz’ competencies to create a more holistic and meaningful learning atmosphere. [Pengetahuan nilai-nilai Profetik Peserta didik di Madrasah Manbaul Uloom berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan Abdul Qowi selaku Mudir Madrasah sangatlah rendah karena peserta didik lebih fokus belajar menghafal Al Quran tanpa menerima pengajaran agama secara mendalam. Sehingga perlu ada upaya untuk memahamkan dan menguatkan nilai-nilai profetik sebagai landasan utama dalam mempelajari ilmu agama khususnya Al Quran. Maka diadakanlah Pengabdian ini sebagai Upaya meningkatkan nilai-nilai profetik pada peserta didik di Madrasah Manbaul Uloom. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini adalah metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Pendekatan ini melibatkan peserta didik/santri, guru/ustaz, dan pihak madrasah dalam seluruh tahapan kegiatan yaitu 25 santri, 5 ustaz, dan 1 pengelola. Sedangkan upaya peningkatannya dengan melakukan pelatihan dan workshop. Hasil dari pengabdian penguatan nilai-nilai profetik di Madrasah Manbaul Uloom yang dilakukan dengan cara pelatihan ini nampak terlihat adanya peningkatan pemahaman tentang nilai-nilai Profetik Humanisasi (amar ma'ruf), Liberasi (nahi munkar), dan Transendensi (tu’minuuna billah). Peningkatan itu nampak pada peserta didik mulai berani mengajak teman-temannya pada hal-hal baik dan berusaha menghindari konflik antar teman. Namun Perlu ada tindak lanjut peningkatan kompetensi guru/ustaz secara berkala agar tercipta suasana pembelajaran yang lebih holistik dan bermakna.]

Abstract

Educational supervision should be conducted for various reasons one of them is to improve teachers’ perfomance as well as to improve students’ learning and quality of education. This is a comparative study of Indonesian and Pakistani school; Madrasah Ummul Quro At-Tarbawiyah Indonesia and Dar-e-Arqam School Bawalpur Punjab Pakistan. There are three research focuses, namely (1) how is the educational supervision implemented in those schools? (2) how effective is the implemenetation of educational supervision in those schools? (3) what are the problems and solutions of the implementation of the educational supervision. This study adopted a descriptive qualitative approach with interviews, observation and documentation as data collection. The results show that the director of Madrasah at Madrasah Ummul Quro At-Tarbawiyah Indonesia implemented educational supervision by using group technique through 3 activities- a monthly meetings, weekly meetings and trainings. through these forms of activity, the results are obtained in the form of positive changes from the teachers which also indirectly affect the effectiveness of the learning activities carried out so as to obtain optimal results through students’ achievements. The obstacles faced are related to the teacher's internal condition so that the alternative is by giving summons, providing motivation, and the final action is in the form of teacher transfers. Menwhile, in Dar-e-Arqam School Pakistan, head office monitoring visits implemented the supervision by monitoring visit and training session (physical and online), reports, and performance conducted monthly and in the end of semester. The head office then made the decision and guidelline for the improvement.

Abstract

Leadership in Islam does not emerge from the imagination of its adherents but is summarized in the Quran and the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This study aims to describe Leadership in an Islamic Perspective, Basic Foundations of Islamic Leadership, Normative Foundations of Islamic Leadership, Essential Principles of Leadership in Islam, and the Prophetic Leadership Paradigm. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA model, a series of evidence-based minimums to assist in reporting systematic reviews and meta-analyses. The results of the study indicate that Islamic leadership is a leadership concept based on the example of the Prophet Muhammad SAW who balances success in various aspects of life. Based on the Quran and Hadith, Islamic leadership is based on the principles of monotheism, equality, Islamic unity, deliberation, justice, and welfare. An Islamic leader must uphold the principles of trust, fairness, shura, and amr bi al-ma'ruf wa nahy 'an al-munkar, aimed at influencing other people to sincerely follow instructions as a reflection of obedience to Allah SWT.

Abstract

The IAIN Madura Campus Ambassador Association is a forum for students to develop their personality and discipline. This study aims to analyze how this association contributes to transforming students' character and disciplinary attitudes. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, data is collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis is available using the Miles and Huberman model with stages of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawn. Data validity applies triangulation of sources and methods. The results of the study show that the IAIN Madura Campus Ambassador Association plays an important role in shaping the personality and discipline of students. Through various trainings and activities, students experience an increase in responsibility, academic discipline, leadership, and social skills. Active involvement in this association also forms an adaptive, professional, and open-minded character. Thus, the association plays a strategic role in producing students who are not only academically superior, but also ready to face the challenges of the world of work and social life.
